١ أَتَىٰٓ এসেছে Will come أَمْرُ আদেশ (the) command of Allah ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহ্র (the) command of Allah فَلَا সুতরাং না so (do) not تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ তা তোমরা তাড়াহুড়া করতে চেয়ো (be) impatient for it سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ তিনি পবিত্র Glorified is He وَتَعَٰلَىٰ ও বহু ঊর্দ্ধে and Exalted (is) He عَمَّا তা থেকে যা above what يُشْرِكُونَ তারা শরীক করে they associate
٢ يُنَزِّلُ অবতীর্ণ করেন He sends down ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ ফেরেশতাদেরকে the Angels بِٱلرُّوحِ দিয়ে ওহী with the inspiration مِنْ থেকে of أَمْرِهِۦ তাঁর নির্দেশের His Command عَلَىٰ উপর upon مَن (তার) যাকে whom يَشَآءُ ইচ্ছে করেন He wills مِنْ মধ্য হ'তে of عِبَادِهِۦٓ তাঁর দাসদের His slaves أَنْ যে that أَنذِرُوٓا۟ """তোমরা সতর্ক করো" """Warn" أَنَّهُۥ এই মর্মে যে that [He] لَآ নেই (there is) no إِلَٰهَ কোন ইলাহ god إِلَّآ ছাড়া except أَنَا۠ আমি Me فَٱتَّقُونِ "সুতরাং তোমরা আমাকে ভয় করো""" "so fear Me"""
٣ خَلَقَ তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন He created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ আকাশমন্ডলী the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ ও পৃথিবী and the earth بِٱلْحَقِّ দিয়ে মহাসত্য in truth تَعَٰلَىٰ বহু ঊর্দ্ধে Exalted is He عَمَّا তা থেকে যা above what يُشْرِكُونَ তারা শরীক করে they associate
٤ خَلَقَ তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন He created ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ মানুষকে the human kind مِن থেকে from نُّطْفَةٍ শুক্র a minute quantity of semen فَإِذَا অতঃপর যখন (সৃষ্টি হলো) then behold هُوَ সে (হলো) he خَصِيمٌ ঝগড়াটে (is) an opponent مُّبِينٌ সুস্পষ্ট clear
٥ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ এবং গবাদিপশু And the cattle خَلَقَهَا তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তা He created them لَكُمْ তোমাদের জন্যে for you فِيهَا তার মধ্যে (আছে) in them دِفْءٌ শীত নিবারক উপকরণ (is) warmth وَمَنَٰفِعُ ও উপকারিতাসমূহ and benefits وَمِنْهَا এবং তা থেকে and from them تَأْكُلُونَ তোমরা খাও you eat
٦ وَلَكُمْ এবং তোমাদের জন্যে And for you فِيهَا তার মধ্যে (আছে) in them جَمَالٌ সৌন্দর্য (is) beauty حِينَ যখন when تُرِيحُونَ তোমরা সন্ধ্যায় চারণভূমি থেকে আনো you bring them in وَحِينَ ও যখন and when تَسْرَحُونَ তোমরা সকালে চারণভূমিতে নিয়ে যাও you take them out
٧ وَتَحْمِلُ এবং তা বহন করে And they carry أَثْقَالَكُمْ তোমাদের ভার your loads إِلَىٰ দিকে to بَلَدٍ এমন শহরের a land لَّمْ না not تَكُونُوا۟ তোমরা ছিলে you could بَٰلِغِيهِ সেখানে পৌঁছাতে সক্ষম reach it إِلَّا এ ছাড়া except بِشِقِّ সহ কষ্ট with great trouble ٱلْأَنفُسِ প্রানান্ত (to) yourselves إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed رَبَّكُمْ তোমার রব your Lord لَرَءُوفٌ অবশ্যই অনুগ্রহশীল surely is Most Kind رَّحِيمٌ পরম দয়ালু Most Merciful
٨ وَٱلْخَيْلَ এবং ঘোড়া (সৃষ্টি করেছেন) And horses وَٱلْبِغَالَ ও খচ্চর and mules وَٱلْحَمِيرَ ও গাধা and donkeys لِتَرْكَبُوهَا জন্যে তোমাদের চড়ার for you to ride them وَزِينَةً ও শোভা (স্বরূপ) and (as) adornment وَيَخْلُقُ এবং তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন And He creates مَا (কিছু) যা what لَا না not تَعْلَمُونَ তোমরা জানো you know
٩ وَعَلَى এবং উপর And upon ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (দায়িত্ব) Allah قَصْدُ প্রদর্শন (is) the direction ٱلسَّبِيلِ পথ (of) the way وَمِنْهَا কিন্তু তা থেকে আছে and among them جَآئِرٌ বাঁকা (পথও) (are) crooked وَلَوْ এবং যদি And if شَآءَ ইচ্ছে করেন He willed لَهَدَىٰكُمْ অবশ্যই সৎপথে পরিচালনা করতেন তোমাদের surely He would have guided you أَجْمَعِينَ সকলকেই all
١٠ هُوَ তিনিই (রব) He ٱلَّذِىٓ যিনি (is) the One Who أَنزَلَ বর্ষণ করেছেন sends down مِنَ থেকে from ٱلسَّمَآءِ আকাশ the sky مَآءً পানি water لَّكُم জন্যে তোমাদের for you مِّنْهُ কিছু তার of it شَرَابٌ পানীয় (পেয়ে থাকো) (is) drink وَمِنْهُ এবং তা থেকে and from it شَجَرٌ গাছপালা (জন্মে) (grows) vegetation فِيهِ তার মধ্যে in which تُسِيمُونَ তোমরা পশু চরিয়ে থাকো you pasture your cattle
١١ يُنۢبِتُ তিনি উদগত করেন He causes to grow لَكُم জন্যে তোমাদের for you بِهِ দিয়ে তা with it ٱلزَّرْعَ শস্য the crops وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ ও যায়তুনসমূহ and the olives وَٱلنَّخِيلَ ও খেজুরসমূহ and the date-palms وَٱلْأَعْنَٰبَ ও আঙ্গুরসমূহ and the grapes وَمِن এবং ধরণের and of كُلِّ সব every kind ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ফলসমূহ (of) fruits إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed فِى মধ্যে (রয়েছে) in ذَٰلِكَ এর that لَءَايَةً অবশ্যই নিদর্শন surely (is) a sign لِّقَوْمٍ লোকদের জন্যে for a people يَتَفَكَّرُونَ (যারা) চিন্তা ভাবনা করে who reflect
١٢ وَسَخَّرَ এবং অধীন করেছেন And He has subjected لَكُمُ তোমাদের জন্যে for you ٱلَّيْلَ রাতকে the night وَٱلنَّهَارَ ও দিনকে and the day وَٱلشَّمْسَ এবং সূর্যকে and the sun وَٱلْقَمَرَ ও চাঁদকে and the moon وَٱلنُّجُومُ এবং তারাগুলোও and the stars مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ অধীন হয়েছে (are) subjected بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ দিয়ে তাঁর বিধান by His command إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed فِى মধ্যে (রয়েছে) in ذَٰلِكَ এর that لَءَايَٰتٍ অবশ্যই নিদর্শনসমূহ surely (are) signs لِّقَوْمٍ জন্যে লোকদের for a people يَعْقِلُونَ (যারা)জ্ঞান রাখে who use reason
١٣ وَمَا আরো (কিছু) যা And whatever ذَرَأَ সৃষ্টি করেছেন He multiplied لَكُمْ তোমাদের জন্যে for you فِى মধ্যে in ٱلْأَرْضِ পৃথিবীর the earth مُخْتَلِفًا বিভিন্ন (of) varying أَلْوَٰنُهُۥٓ তার রংসমূহ colors إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed فِى মধ্যে (রয়েছে) in ذَٰلِكَ এর that لَءَايَةً অবশ্যই নিদর্শন surely (is) a sign لِّقَوْمٍ লোকদের জন্যে for a people يَذَّكَّرُونَ (যারা) শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করে who remember
١٤ وَهُوَ এবং তিনি And He ٱلَّذِى যিনি (is) the One Who سَخَّرَ অধীন করেছেন subjected ٱلْبَحْرَ সমুদ্রকে the sea لِتَأْكُلُوا۟ যেন তোমরা খেতে পারো for you to eat مِنْهُ তা থেকে from it لَحْمًا (মাছ) গোশত meat طَرِيًّا তাজা fresh وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا۟ তোমরা বের করতে পারো and that you bring forth مِنْهُ তা থেকে from it حِلْيَةً সৌন্দর্য শোভা (মনি-মুক্তা) ornaments تَلْبَسُونَهَا তোমরা তা পরিধান করো (that) you wear them وَتَرَى এবং দেখছো And you see ٱلْفُلْكَ নৌযানসমূহকে the ships مَوَاخِرَ পানি বিদীর্ণকারী ploughing فِيهِ তার মধ্যে through it وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ এবং যেন তোমরা সন্ধান করতে পারো and that you may seek مِن থেকে of فَضْلِهِۦ তাঁর অনুগ্রহ His Bounty وَلَعَلَّكُمْ এবং তোমরা যাতে and that you may تَشْكُرُونَ কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করো (be) grateful
١٥ وَأَلْقَىٰ এবং তিনি স্থাপন করেছেন And He has cast فِى মধ্যে in ٱلْأَرْضِ পৃথিবীর the earth رَوَٰسِىَ পর্বতসমূহকে firm mountains أَن (এমন না হয়) যে lest تَمِيدَ হেলে যায় it should shake بِكُمْ তোমাদের নিয়ে with you وَأَنْهَٰرًا ও নদীসমূহ and rivers وَسُبُلًا এবং রাস্তাসমূহ and roads لَّعَلَّكُمْ যাতে তোমরা so that you may تَهْتَدُونَ পথের সন্ধান পাও be guided
١٦ وَعَلَٰمَٰتٍ ও (যমীনে) পথনির্ণায়ক চিহ্নসমূহ And landmarks وَبِٱلنَّجْمِ এবং সাহায্যে নক্ষত্রের And by the stars هُمْ তারা they يَهْتَدُونَ পথ নির্দেশ পায় guide themselves
١٧ أَفَمَن তবে কি যিনি Then is He Who يَخْلُقُ সৃষ্টি করেছেন creates كَمَن (তার) মতো যে like one who لَّا না (does) not يَخْلُقُ সৃষ্টি করে (কোন কিছুই) create? أَفَلَا তবুও কি না Then will you not تَذَكَّرُونَ তোমরা শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করবে remember?
١٨ وَإِن এবং যদি And if تَعُدُّوا۟ তোমরা গণনা করো you should count نِعْمَةَ অনুগ্রহকে the Favors of Allah ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর the Favors of Allah لَا না not تُحْصُوهَآ তার সংখ্যা নির্ণয় করতে পারবে you could enumerate them إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah لَغَفُورٌ অবশ্যই ক্ষমাশীল (is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِيمٌ পরম দয়ালু Most Merciful
١٩ وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ And Allah يَعْلَمُ জানেন knows مَا যা what تُسِرُّونَ তোমরা গোপন রাখো you conceal وَمَا এবং যা and what تُعْلِنُونَ তোমরা প্রকাশ করো you reveal
٢٠ وَٱلَّذِينَ এবং যারা And those whom يَدْعُونَ ডাকে they invoke مِن থেকে besides دُونِ ছাড়া besides ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহকে Allah لَا না not يَخْلُقُونَ তারা সৃষ্টি করে they create شَيْـًٔا কোনো কিছু anything وَهُمْ বরং তাদেরকে but (are) themselves يُخْلَقُونَ সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে created
٢١ أَمْوَٰتٌ (তারা) মৃত (They are) dead غَيْرُ নয় not alive أَحْيَآءٍ জীবিত not alive وَمَا এবং না And not يَشْعُرُونَ চেতনা রাখে they perceive أَيَّانَ কবে when يُبْعَثُونَ উঠানো হবে তাদের they will be resurrected
٢٢ إِلَٰهُكُمْ তোমাদের ইলাহ Your god إِلَٰهٌ ইলাহ (is) God وَٰحِدٌ একই One فَٱلَّذِينَ সুতরাং যারা But those who لَا না (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ বিশ্বাস করে believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ প্রতি আখেরাতের in the Hereafter قُلُوبُهُم তাদের অন্তরসমূহ their hearts مُّنكِرَةٌ সত্যবিমুখ refuse وَهُم এবং তারা and they مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ অহংকারী (are) arrogant
٢٣ لَا নেই No doubt جَرَمَ সন্দেহ No doubt أَنَّ যে that ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah يَعْلَمُ জানেন knows مَا যা what يُسِرُّونَ তারা গোপন রাখে they conceal وَمَا এবং যা and what يُعْلِنُونَ তারা প্রকাশ করে they reveal إِنَّهُۥ নিশ্চয়ই তিনি "Indeed لَا না (does) not يُحِبُّ ভালোবাসেন love ٱلْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ অহংকারীদেরকে the arrogant ones
٢٤ وَإِذَا এবং যখন And when قِيلَ বলা হয় it is said لَهُم তাদেরকে to them مَّاذَآ """কি" """What" أَنزَلَ অবতীর্ণ করেছেন has your Lord sent down? رَبُّكُمْ তোমাদের রব has your Lord sent down? قَالُوٓا۟ তারা বলে They say أَسَٰطِيرُ """উপকথাসমূহ" """Tales" ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ "পূর্ববর্তীদের""" "(of) the ancient"""
٢٥ لِيَحْمِلُوٓا۟ যেন তারা বহন করে That they may bear أَوْزَارَهُمْ তাদের বোঝাসমূহ (পাপের) their own burdens كَامِلَةً সম্পূর্ণ (in) full يَوْمَ দিনে on (the) Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ক্বিয়ামাতের (of) the Resurrection وَمِنْ এবং থেকে and of أَوْزَارِ বোঝাসমূহ the burdens ٱلَّذِينَ (তাদের) যাদের (of) those whom يُضِلُّونَهُم তারা বিভ্রান্ত করেছে তাদেরকে they misled [them] بِغَيْرِ ছাড়া without عِلْمٍ কোনো জ্ঞান knowledge أَلَا জেনে রাখো Unquestionably سَآءَ অতি নিকৃষ্ট evil مَا যা (is) what يَزِرُونَ তারা বহন করবে they will bear
٢٦ قَدْ নিশ্চয়ই Verily مَكَرَ চক্রান্ত করেছিলো plotted ٱلَّذِينَ যারা (ছিলো) those who مِن থেকেই (were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ তাদের পূর্ব (were) before them فَأَتَى অতঃপর আসলেন (আঘাত করলেন) but Allah came ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ but Allah came بُنْيَٰنَهُم তাদের কাঠামোতে (at) their building مِّنَ থেকে from ٱلْقَوَاعِدِ ভিত্তিমূলের the foundations فَخَرَّ অতঃপর ধসে পড়লো so fell عَلَيْهِمُ উপর তাদের upon them ٱلسَّقْفُ ছাদ the roof مِن হ'তে from فَوْقِهِمْ উপর তাদের above them وَأَتَىٰهُمُ এবং তাদের উপর আসলো and came to them ٱلْعَذَابُ শাস্তি the punishment مِنْ থেকে from حَيْثُ যেখান where لَا না they (did) not perceive يَشْعُرُونَ তারা ধারণ করে they (did) not perceive
٢٧ ثُمَّ অতঃপর Then يَوْمَ দিনে (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ক্বিয়ামাতের (of) the Resurrection يُخْزِيهِمْ তিনি লাঞ্ছিত করবেন তাদের He will disgrace them وَيَقُولُ এবং বলবেন and say أَيْنَ """কোথায়" """Where" شُرَكَآءِىَ আমার শরীকরা (are) My partners ٱلَّذِينَ যাদের (ব্যাপারে) those (for) whom كُنتُمْ তোমরা ছিলে you used (to) تُشَٰٓقُّونَ তর্কাতর্কি করতে oppose فِيهِمْ "তাদের ব্যাপারে""" "[in them]?""" قَالَ বলবে Will say ٱلَّذِينَ যাদেরকে those who أُوتُوا۟ দেওয়া হয়েছিলো were given ٱلْعِلْمَ জ্ঞান the knowledge إِنَّ """নিশ্চয়ই" """Indeed" ٱلْخِزْىَ লাঞ্ছনা রয়েছে the disgrace ٱلْيَوْمَ আজকের দিনে this Day وَٱلسُّوٓءَ ও অমঙ্গল (রয়েছে) and evil عَلَى উপর (are) upon ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ "কাফেরদের""" "the disbelievers"""
٢٨ ٱلَّذِينَ যাদের (অবস্থান হলো এই) Those whom - تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ তাদের মৃত্যু ঘটায় take them in death ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ফেরেশতারা the Angels ظَالِمِىٓ অত্যাচারী অবস্থায় (while) wronging أَنفُسِهِمْ নিজেদের উপর তাদের themselves فَأَلْقَوُا۟ তারা যখন আত্নসমর্পন করবে (এবং বলবে) then they would offer ٱلسَّلَمَ শান্তি the submission مَا """না" """Not" كُنَّا আমরা ছিলাম we were نَعْمَلُ আমরা কাজ করতে doing مِن কোনো any سُوٓءٍۭ "মন্দ""" "evil""" بَلَىٰٓ হ্যাঁ Nay إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah عَلِيمٌۢ খুব জানেন (is) All-Knower بِمَا ঐ সম্পর্কে যা of what كُنتُمْ তোমরা ছিলে you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ তোমরা কাজ করতে do
٢٩ فَٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ সুতরাং তোমরা প্রবেশ করো So enter أَبْوَٰبَ দরজাসমূহে (the) gates جَهَنَّمَ জাহান্নামের (of) Hell خَٰلِدِينَ স্থায়ী বসবাসকারী হবে (to) abide forever فِيهَا তার মধ্যে in it فَلَبِئْسَ অতএব অবশ্যই নিকৃষ্ট Surely wretched مَثْوَى আবাসস্থল (is the) abode ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ অহংকারীদের (of) the arrogant
٣٠ وَقِيلَ এবং বলা হবে And it will be said لِلَّذِينَ যারা (তাদেরকে) to those who ٱتَّقَوْا۟ তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করতো fear Allah مَاذَآ """কি" """What" أَنزَلَ "অবতীর্ণ করেছিলেন""" "has your Lord sent down?""" رَبُّكُمْ "তোমাদের রব""" "has your Lord sent down?""" قَالُوا۟ তারা বলবে They will say خَيْرًا """মহাকল্যাণ""" """Good""" لِّلَّذِينَ তাদের (জন্যে) যারা For those who أَحْسَنُوا۟ সৎকাজ করে do good فِى মধ্যে আছে in هَٰذِهِ এই this ٱلدُّنْيَا দুনিয়ায় world حَسَنَةٌ কল্যাণ (is) a good وَلَدَارُ এবং অবশ্যই ঘর and the home ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ আখেরাতের of the Hereafter خَيْرٌ উত্তম (is) better وَلَنِعْمَ এবং অবশ্যই চমৎকার And surely excellent دَارُ ঘর (is) the home ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ মুত্তাকীদের (of) the righteous
٣١ جَنَّٰتُ জান্নাত Gardens عَدْنٍ স্থায়ী (of) Eden يَدْخُلُونَهَا তাতে তারা প্রবেশ করবে which they will enter تَجْرِى প্রবাহিত হয় flows مِن থেকে from تَحْتِهَا তার নিচ underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ঝর্ণাধারাসমূহ the rivers لَهُمْ তাদের জন্যে For them فِيهَا তার মধ্যে therein مَا যা (will be) whatever يَشَآءُونَ তারা চাইবে they wish كَذَٰلِكَ এভাবে Thus يَجْزِى পুরস্কৃত করেন Allah rewards ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah rewards ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ মুত্তাকীদেরকে the righteous
٣٢ ٱلَّذِينَ যাদের Those whom تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ তাদের মৃত্যু ঘটায় take them in death ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ফেরেশতারা the Angels طَيِّبِينَ পবিত্র থাকা অবস্থায় (when they are) pure يَقُولُونَ তারা বলবে saying سَلَٰمٌ """শান্তি" """Peace" عَلَيْكُمُ তোমাদের উপর (be) upon you ٱدْخُلُوا۟ তোমরা প্রবেশ করো Enter ٱلْجَنَّةَ জান্নাতে Paradise بِمَا বিনিময়ে যা for what كُنتُمْ তোমরা ছিলে you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ "তোমরা কাজ করতে""" "do"""
٣٣ هَلْ তবে কি Do يَنظُرُونَ তারা অপেক্ষা করছে they wait إِلَّآ এ ছাড়া except أَن যে that تَأْتِيَهُمُ তাদের কাছে আসবে (should) come to them ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ফেরেশতারা the Angels أَوْ অথবা or يَأْتِىَ আসবে (should) come أَمْرُ নির্দেশ (the) Command رَبِّكَ তোমার রবের (of) your Lord? كَذَٰلِكَ এরূপ Thus فَعَلَ করেছিলো did ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who مِن থেকে (were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ তাদের পূর্ব (ছিলো) (were) before them وَمَا এবং না And not ظَلَمَهُمُ তাদের উপর অত্যাচার করেছেন wronged them ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah وَلَٰكِن কিন্তু but كَانُوٓا۟ তারা ছিলো they were أَنفُسَهُمْ তাদের নিজেদের উপর themselves يَظْلِمُونَ অত্যাচার করতে wronging
٣٤ فَأَصَابَهُمْ অতঃপর তাদের উপর পড়েছিলো Then struck them سَيِّـَٔاتُ মন্দসমূহ (অর্থাৎ শাস্তি) (the) evil (results) مَا যা (of) what عَمِلُوا۟ তারা কাজ করেছিলো they did وَحَاقَ এবং ঘিরে ফেলেছিলো and surrounded بِهِم তাদেরকে them مَّا তা-ই what كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো they used (to) بِهِۦ নিয়ে যা [of it] يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ তারা ঠাট্টাবিদ্রূপ করতো mock
٣٥ وَقَالَ এবং বলে And said ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who أَشْرَكُوا۟ শিরক করেছে associate partners (with Allah) لَوْ """যদি" """If" شَآءَ ইচ্ছে করতেন Allah (had) willed ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah (had) willed مَا না not عَبَدْنَا আমরা ইবাদাত করতাম we (would) have worshipped مِن ছাড়া other than Him دُونِهِۦ তাঁকে other than Him مِن (অন্য) কোনো any شَىْءٍ কিছুকে thing نَّحْنُ আমরা we وَلَآ এবং না and not ءَابَآؤُنَا আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা our forefathers وَلَا এবং না and not حَرَّمْنَا আমরা নিষিদ্ধ করতাম we (would) have forbidden مِن ছাড়া other than Him دُونِهِۦ তাঁর (হুকুম) other than Him مِن "কোনো""" "anything""" شَىْءٍ "কিছু""" "anything""" كَذَٰلِكَ এরূপ Thus فَعَلَ করেছিলো did ٱلَّذِينَ যারা (ছিলো) those who مِن থেকে (were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ তাদের পূর্ব (were) before them فَهَلْ সুতরাং কি Then is (there) عَلَى উপর on ٱلرُّسُلِ (দায়িত্ব আছে) রাসূলদের the messengers إِلَّا এ ছাড়া যে except ٱلْبَلَٰغُ পৌঁছানো (দীনের দাওয়াত) the conveyance ٱلْمُبِينُ সুস্পষ্ট ভাবে clear?
٣٦ وَلَقَدْ এবং নিশ্চয়ই And certainly بَعَثْنَا আমরা পাঠিয়েছি We sent فِى মধ্যে into كُلِّ প্রত্যেক every أُمَّةٍ জাতির nation رَّسُولًا রাসূল a Messenger أَنِ যে that ٱعْبُدُوا۟ """তোমরা ইবাদাত করো" """Worship" ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহর Allah وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ ও দূরে থাকো and avoid ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ "তাগুত (হ'তে)""" "the false deities""" فَمِنْهُم অতঃপর তাদের মধ্য থেকে Then among them مَّنْ কাউকে (were some) whom هَدَى সৎপথে পরিচালনা করেন Allah guided ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah guided وَمِنْهُم আর তাদের মধ্য থেকে and among them مَّنْ কারো (were) some حَقَّتْ অবধারিত হয়েছে was justified عَلَيْهِ তার উপর on them ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ পথভ্রষ্টতা the straying فَسِيرُوا۟ অতঃপর তোমরা ভ্রমন করো So travel فِى মধ্যে in ٱلْأَرْضِ পৃথিবীর the earth فَٱنظُرُوا۟ অতঃপর তোমরা দেখো and see كَيْفَ কেমন how كَانَ হয়েছে was عَٰقِبَةُ পরিণাম the end ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ মিথ্যাবাদীদের (of) the deniers
٣٧ إِن যদি If تَحْرِصْ আগ্রহী হও you desire عَلَىٰ ব্যাপারে [for] هُدَىٰهُمْ তাদের পথ প্রদর্শনের তুমি their guidance فَإِنَّ তবুও নিশ্চয়ই then indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah لَا না (will) not يَهْدِى সৎপথে পরিচালনা করেন guide مَن যাকে whom يُضِلُّ পথভ্রষ্ট করেন He lets go astray وَمَا এবং নেই and not (are) لَهُم তাদের জন্যে for them مِّن কোনো any نَّٰصِرِينَ সাহায্যকারী helpers
٣٨ وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ এবং তারা শপথ করে And they swear بِٱللَّهِ নামে আল্লাহর by Allah جَهْدَ সাধ্য অনুসারে strongest أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ তাদের শপথের (of) their oaths لَا না Allah will not resurrect يَبْعَثُ উঠাবেন Allah will not resurrect ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah will not resurrect مَن (তাকে) যে (one) who يَمُوتُ মারা যায় dies بَلَىٰ হ্যাঁ (নিশ্চয়ই) Nay وَعْدًا প্রতিশ্রুতি (it is) a promise عَلَيْهِ তার উপর upon Him حَقًّا অবধারিত (in) truth وَلَٰكِنَّ কিন্তু but أَكْثَرَ অধিকাংশ most ٱلنَّاسِ মানুষ (of) the mankind لَا না (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ তারা জানে know
٣٩ لِيُبَيِّنَ জন্যে প্রকাশ করার That He will make clear لَهُمُ তাদের কাছে to them ٱلَّذِى যে বিষয়ে that يَخْتَلِفُونَ তারা মতানৈক্য করে they differ فِيهِ তার মধ্যে wherein وَلِيَعْلَمَ এবং জানে যেন and that may know ٱلَّذِينَ (তারা) যারা those who كَفَرُوٓا۟ অস্বীকার করেছে disbelieved أَنَّهُمْ যে তারা that they كَانُوا۟ (তারা) ছিলো were كَٰذِبِينَ মিথ্যাবাদী liars
٤٠ إِنَّمَا শুধু এতটুকুই Only قَوْلُنَا আমাদের কথা Our Word لِشَىْءٍ জন্যে কোন কিছুর to a thing إِذَآ যখন when أَرَدْنَٰهُ আমরা তা করতে চাই We intend it أَن যে (is) that نَّقُولَ আমরা বলি We say لَهُۥ তাকে to it كُن """হও""" """Be""" فَيَكُونُ ফলে তা হয়ে যায় and it is
٤١ وَٱلَّذِينَ এবং যারা And those who هَاجَرُوا۟ হিজরত করেছে emigrated فِى জন্যে in (the way) ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah مِنۢ থেকে after بَعْدِ পর after مَا যা [what] ظُلِمُوا۟ তারা নির্যাতিত হয়েছে they were wronged لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ অবশ্যই আমরা আবাস দিবো তাদের surely We will give them position فِى মধ্যে in ٱلدُّنْيَا দুনিয়ার the world حَسَنَةً উত্তম good وَلَأَجْرُ এবং অবশ্যই পুরস্কার but surely the reward ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ আখেরাতের (of) the Hereafter أَكْبَرُ সর্বাধিক (is) greater لَوْ যদি if كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো they يَعْلَمُونَ তারা জানতো know
٤٢ ٱلَّذِينَ যারা Those who صَبَرُوا۟ ধৈর্য ধরেছে (are) patient وَعَلَىٰ ও উপর and on رَبِّهِمْ তাদের রবের their Lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَ তারা নির্ভর করে they put their trust
٤٣ وَمَآ এবং না And not أَرْسَلْنَا আমরা পাঠিয়েছি We sent مِن থেকে before you قَبْلِكَ তোমার পূর্ব before you إِلَّا এ ছাড়া except رِجَالًا মানুষদেরকে men نُّوحِىٓ আমরা ওহী করি We revealed إِلَيْهِمْ প্রতি তাদের to them فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ অতএব তোমরা জিজ্ঞেস করো so ask أَهْلَ সম্পন্নদের (the) people ٱلذِّكْرِ (ঐশী)জ্ঞান (of) the Reminder إِن যদি if كُنتُمْ তোমরা ছিলে you لَا না (do) not تَعْلَمُونَ তোমরা জানো know
٤٤ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ সহ উজ্জ্বল নিদর্শনাবলী With the clear proofs وَٱلزُّبُرِ ও কিতাবসমূহ and the Books وَأَنزَلْنَآ ও আমরা অবতীর্ণ করেছি And We sent down إِلَيْكَ তোমার প্রতি to you ٱلذِّكْرَ উপদেশবাণী (কুরআন) the Remembrance لِتُبَيِّنَ যেন সুস্পস্টভাবে বর্ণনা করো তুমি that you may make clear لِلنَّاسِ জন্যে মানুষের to the mankind مَا যা what نُزِّلَ অবতীর্ণ করা হয়েছে has been sent down إِلَيْهِمْ তাদের প্রতি to them وَلَعَلَّهُمْ এবং সম্ভবত তারা and that they may يَتَفَكَّرُونَ চিন্তা-ভাবনা করে reflect
٤٥ أَفَأَمِنَ তবে কি নির্ভয় হয়েছে Do then feel secure ٱلَّذِينَ (তারা) যারা those who مَكَرُوا۟ চক্রান্ত করে plotted ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ কুকর্মের the evil deeds أَن যে that يَخْسِفَ ধসিয়ে দিবেন Allah will cave ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah will cave بِهِمُ সহ তাদের with them ٱلْأَرْضَ মাটিকে the earth أَوْ বা or يَأْتِيَهُمُ তাদের উপর আসবে will come to them ٱلْعَذَابُ আযাব the punishment مِنْ থেকে from حَيْثُ যেখান where لَا না not يَشْعُرُونَ তারা ধারণাও করে they perceive?
٤٦ أَوْ অথবা Or يَأْخُذَهُمْ তাদের ধরবেন that He may seize them فِى মধ্যে in تَقَلُّبِهِمْ তাদের চলাফেরার their going to and fro فَمَا অতঃপর না then not هُم তারা (হ'তে পারবে) they بِمُعْجِزِينَ (তাঁকে) অক্ষমকারী will be able to escape?
٤٧ أَوْ অথবা Or يَأْخُذَهُمْ তাদের ধরবেন that He may seize them عَلَىٰ অবস্হায় with تَخَوُّفٍ ভীত সন্ত্রস্ত a gradual wasting فَإِنَّ তবে নিশ্চয়ই But indeed رَبَّكُمْ তোমাদের রব your Lord لَرَءُوفٌ অবশ্যই দয়াপরবশ (is) surely Full of Kindness رَّحِيمٌ পরম দয়ালু Most Merciful
٤٨ أَوَلَمْ কি নি Have not يَرَوْا۟ তারা দেখে they seen إِلَىٰ প্রতি [towards] مَا যা what خَلَقَ সৃষ্টি করেছেন Allah has created ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah has created مِن কিছু from شَىْءٍ বস্তুর a thing? يَتَفَيَّؤُا۟ ঝুঁকে পড়ে Incline ظِلَٰلُهُۥ তার ছায়াগুলো their shadows عَنِ থেকে to ٱلْيَمِينِ ডান the right وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ ও বাম (থেকে) and to the left سُجَّدًا সিজদাবনত হয়ে prostrating لِّلَّهِ আল্লাহর জন্যে to Allah وَهُمْ এমতাবস্হায় যে তারা while they دَٰخِرُونَ বিনয়ী (are) humble?
٤٩ وَلِلَّهِ এবং আল্লাহর জন্যে And to Allah يَسْجُدُ সিজদা করে prostrate مَا যা কিছু whatever فِى মধ্যে আছে (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ আকাশসমূহের the heavens وَمَا এবং যা and whatever فِى মধ্যে (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ পৃথিবীর the earth مِن মধ্য থেকে of دَآبَّةٍ জীবজন্তু moving creatures وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ এবং ফেরেশতারা and the Angels وَهُمْ এবং তারা and they لَا না (are) not يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ অহংকার করে arrogant
٥٠ يَخَافُونَ তারা ভয় করে They fear رَبَّهُم তাদের রবকে their Lord مِّن অবস্থানরত above them فَوْقِهِمْ উপরে তাদের above them وَيَفْعَلُونَ এবং তারা করে and they do مَا যা what يُؤْمَرُونَ তাদের নির্দেশ দেয়া হয় they are commanded
٥١ وَقَالَ এবং বলেন And Allah has said ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ And Allah has said لَا """না" """(Do) not" تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ তোমরা গ্রহণ করো take إِلَٰهَيْنِ ইলাহ [two] gods ٱثْنَيْنِ দুই two إِنَّمَا প্রকৃতপক্ষে only هُوَ তিনি He إِلَٰهٌ ইলাহ (is) God وَٰحِدٌ এক One فَإِيَّٰىَ সুতরাং শুধু আমাকেই so Me Alone فَٱرْهَبُونِ "তাই আমাকেই তোমরা ভয় করো""" "you fear [Me]"""
٥٢ وَلَهُۥ এবং তাঁরই জন্যে And to Him (belongs) مَا যা কিছু whatever فِى মধ্যে আছে (is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ আকাশসমূহের the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ ও পৃথিবীর and the earth وَلَهُ এবং তাঁরই জন্যে and to Him ٱلدِّينُ অানুগত্য (is due) the worship وَاصِبًا সার্বক্ষণিক constantly أَفَغَيْرَ তবে কি ছাড়া Then is it other (than) ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহ্ Allah تَتَّقُونَ (অপরকে) তোমরা ভয় করবে you fear?
٥٣ وَمَا অথচ যা কিছু And whatever بِكُم সাথে তোমাদের you have مِّن মধ্য থেকে of نِّعْمَةٍ অনুগ্রহ (আছে) favor فَمِنَ তা (এসেছে) হ'তে (is) from ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহ্ Allah ثُمَّ এরপর Then إِذَا যখন when مَسَّكُمُ তোমাদের স্পর্শ করে touches you ٱلضُّرُّ দুঃখ-দৈন্য the adversity فَإِلَيْهِ তখন তার কাছে then to Him تَجْـَٔرُونَ তোমরা নম্র হয়ে ডাকো you cry for help
٥٤ ثُمَّ এরপর Then إِذَا যখন when كَشَفَ দূর করে দেন He removes ٱلضُّرَّ দুঃখ-দৈন্য the adversity عَنكُمْ থেকে তোমাদের from you إِذَا তখন behold! فَرِيقٌ একদল A group مِّنكُم তোমাদের মধ্য হ'তে of you بِرَبِّهِمْ সাথে তাদের রবের with their Lord يُشْرِكُونَ (অন্যদেরকে) শরীক করে associate others
٥٥ لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ জন্যে অস্বীকার করার So as to deny بِمَآ ঐ বিষয়ে যা that which ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ আমরা তাদের দিয়েছি We have given them فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ তাই তোমরা ভোগ করো Then enjoy yourselves فَسَوْفَ অতঃপর শীঘ্রই soon تَعْلَمُونَ তোমরা জানবে you will know
٥٦ وَيَجْعَلُونَ এবং তারা নির্ধারণ করে And they assign لِمَا সে বিষয়ে যা to what لَا না not يَعْلَمُونَ তারা জানে they know - نَصِيبًا এক অংশ a portion مِّمَّا তা হ'তে যা of what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ আমরা জীবিকা দিয়েছি তাদের We have provided them تَٱللَّهِ শপথ আল্লাহর By Allah لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ অবশ্যই তোমাদের জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে surely you will be asked عَمَّا ঐ বিষয়ে যা about what كُنتُمْ তোমরা ছিলে you used (to) تَفْتَرُونَ তোমরা রচনা করতে invent
٥٧ وَيَجْعَلُونَ এবং তারা নির্ধারণ করে And they assign لِلَّهِ জন্যে আল্লাহর to Allah ٱلْبَنَٰتِ কন্যা-সন্তানসমূহ daughters سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ তিনি পবিত্র ও মহান Glory be to Him! وَلَهُم এবং জন্যে তাদের And for them مَّا (তাই) যা (is) what يَشْتَهُونَ তারা কামনা করে they desire
٥٨ وَإِذَا অথচ যখন And when بُشِّرَ সুখবর দেয়া হয় is given good news أَحَدُهُم তাদের কাউকে (to) one of them بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ব্যাপারে কন্যা-সন্তানের of a female ظَلَّ হয়ে যায় turns وَجْهُهُۥ তার মুখ his face مُسْوَدًّا কালো dark وَهُوَ এবং সে (হয়) and he كَظِيمٌ উত্তেজনা প্রশমনকারী suppresses grief
٥٩ يَتَوَٰرَىٰ আত্ন গোপন করে He hides himself مِنَ থেকে from ٱلْقَوْمِ লোকদের the people مِن কারণে (because) of سُوٓءِ লজ্জার the evil مَا যা of what بُشِّرَ সুসংবাদ দেয়া হয় he has been given good news بِهِۦٓ সম্পর্কে সে about أَيُمْسِكُهُۥ কি তাকে রেখে দিবে Should he keep it عَلَىٰ সত্ত্বেও উপর in هُونٍ হীনতা (লাঞ্ছনা সহ্য করে) humiliation أَمْ না or يَدُسُّهُۥ তাকে পুঁতে ফেলবে bury it فِى মধ্যে in ٱلتُّرَابِ মাটির the dust? أَلَا সাবধান (লক্ষ্য করো) Unquestionably سَآءَ কত নিকৃষ্ট evil مَا যা (is) what يَحْكُمُونَ তারা সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় they decide
٦٠ لِلَّذِينَ জন্যে যারা তাদের For those who لَا না (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ বিশ্বাস করে believe بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ আখেরাতের উপর in the Hereafter مَثَلُ দৃষ্টান্ত (is) a similitude ٱلسَّوْءِ বড় নিকৃষ্ট (of) the evil وَلِلَّهِ এবং আল্লাহর জন্যে and for Allah ٱلْمَثَلُ দৃষ্টান্ত (গুণাবলী) (is) the similitude ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ সর্বোচ্চ the Highest وَهُوَ এবং তিনিই And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ পরাক্রমশালী (is) the All-Mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُ প্রজ্ঞাময় All-Wise
٦١ وَلَوْ এবং যদি And if يُؤَاخِذُ ধরতেন Allah were to seize ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah were to seize ٱلنَّاسَ মানুষদেরকে the mankind بِظُلْمِهِم জন্যে তাদের বাড়াবাড়ির for their wrongdoing مَّا না not تَرَكَ ছাড়তেন He (would) have left عَلَيْهَا তার উপর upon it مِن কোনো any دَآبَّةٍ প্রানীকেও moving creature وَلَٰكِن কিন্তু but يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ তাদের অবকাশ দেন He defers them إِلَىٰٓ পর্যন্ত for أَجَلٍ কাল a term مُّسَمًّى নির্দিষ্ট appointed فَإِذَا অতঃপর যখন Then when جَآءَ আসবে comes أَجَلُهُمْ তাদের সময় their terms لَا না not يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ তারা দেরি করতে পারবে they (will) remain behind سَاعَةً এক মুহূর্ত an hour وَلَا আর না and not يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ তারা তাড়াহুড়ো করতে পারবে they can advance (it)
٦٢ وَيَجْعَلُونَ এবং তারা সাব্যস্ত করে And they assign لِلَّهِ জন্যে আল্লাহর to Allah مَا যা what يَكْرَهُونَ তারা অপছন্দ করে they dislike وَتَصِفُ এবং বর্ণনা করে and assert أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ তাদের জিহবাগুলো their tongues ٱلْكَذِبَ মিথ্যা the lie أَنَّ যে that لَهُمُ জন্যে তাদেরই for them ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ কল্যাণ (is) the best لَا নেই No جَرَمَ সন্দেহ doubt أَنَّ যে that لَهُمُ জন্যে তাদের (রয়েছে) for them ٱلنَّارَ আগুন (is) the Fire وَأَنَّهُم এবং (এও) যে তাদের and that they مُّفْرَطُونَ সবার আগে তারা নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে (will) be abandoned
٦٣ تَٱللَّهِ শপথ আল্লাহর By Allah لَقَدْ নিশ্চয়ই certainly أَرْسَلْنَآ আমরা পাঠিয়েছি We have sent إِلَىٰٓ প্রতি to أُمَمٍ জাতিসমূহের nations مِّن থেকে before you قَبْلِكَ তোমার পূর্ব before you فَزَيَّنَ অতঃপর শোভন করেছিলো but made fair-seeming لَهُمُ জন্যে তাদের to them ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ শয়তান the Shaitaan أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ তাদের কাজগুলোকে their deeds فَهُوَ অতঃপর সেই So he وَلِيُّهُمُ তাদের অভিভাবক (is) their ally ٱلْيَوْمَ আজ today وَلَهُمْ এবং জন্যে তাদের (রয়েছে) and for them عَذَابٌ শাস্তি (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ নিদারুণ painful
٦٤ وَمَآ এবং না And not أَنزَلْنَا আমরা অবতীর্ণ করেছি We revealed عَلَيْكَ তোমার উপর to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ কিতাব the Book إِلَّا ছাড়া except لِتُبَيِّنَ যেন তুমি প্রকাশ করো that you make clear لَهُمُ তাদের কাছে to them ٱلَّذِى সে বিষয়ে that which ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ তারা মত-বিরোধ করেছে they differed فِيهِ মধ্যে যার in it وَهُدًى এবং পথনির্দেশ and (as) a guidance وَرَحْمَةً ও দয়াস্বরূপ and mercy لِّقَوْمٍ জন্যে লোকদের for a people يُؤْمِنُونَ (যারা) বিশ্বাস করে who believe
٦٥ وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ And Allah أَنزَلَ বর্ষণ করেন sends down مِنَ থেকে from ٱلسَّمَآءِ আকাশ the sky مَآءً পানি water فَأَحْيَا অতঃপর প্রাণ দেন then gives life بِهِ দিয়ে তা by it ٱلْأَرْضَ জমিকে (to) the earth بَعْدَ পর after مَوْتِهَآ তার মৃত্যুর its death إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed فِى মধ্যে in ذَٰلِكَ এর that لَءَايَةً অবশ্যই নিদর্শন (is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍ জন্যে লোকদের for a people يَسْمَعُونَ (যারা) শুনে who listen
٦٦ وَإِنَّ এবং নিশ্চয়ই And indeed لَكُمْ জন্যে তোমাদের for you فِى মধ্যে রয়েছে in ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ গবাদিপশুর the cattle لَعِبْرَةً অবশ্যই শিক্ষা (is) a lesson نُّسْقِيكُم আমরা পান করাই তোমাদের We give you to drink مِّمَّا তা হ'তে যা from what فِى মধ্যে আছে (is) in بُطُونِهِۦ তার পেটগুলোর their bellies مِنۢ থেকে from بَيْنِ মধ্য between فَرْثٍ গোবর bowels وَدَمٍ ও রক্তের and blood لَّبَنًا (তা হলো) দুধ milk خَالِصًا বিশুদ্ধ pure سَآئِغًا উপাদেয় palatable لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ জন্যে পানকারীদের to the drinkers
٦٧ وَمِن এবং থেকে And from ثَمَرَٰتِ ফলগুলো fruits ٱلنَّخِيلِ খেজুর গাছের the date-palm وَٱلْأَعْنَٰبِ ও আঙ্গুরগুলো and the grapes تَتَّخِذُونَ তোমরা গ্রহণ করো you take مِنْهُ তা থেকে from it سَكَرًا মাদকদ্রব্য intoxicant وَرِزْقًا ও জীবিকা and a provision حَسَنًا উত্তম good إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed فِى মধ্যে আছে in ذَٰلِكَ এর that لَءَايَةً অবশ্যই নিদর্শন (is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍ জন্যে লোকদের for a people يَعْقِلُونَ (যারা) জ্ঞান রাখে who use reason
٦٨ وَأَوْحَىٰ এবং ওহী করেন And inspired رَبُّكَ তার রব your Lord إِلَى প্রতি to ٱلنَّحْلِ মৌমাছির the bee أَنِ যে [that] ٱتَّخِذِى """গ্রহণ করো (বানাও)" """Take" مِنَ মধ্যে among ٱلْجِبَالِ পাহাড়গুলোর the mountains بُيُوتًا ঘরসমূহ (অর্থাৎ চাক) houses وَمِنَ ও মধ্যে and among ٱلشَّجَرِ গাছের the trees وَمِمَّا এবং ঐ বস্তুর মধ্যে যা and in what يَعْرِشُونَ তারা উঁচু করে (দালান বা মাচা) they construct
٦٩ ثُمَّ এরপর Then كُلِى খাও eat مِن থেকে from كُلِّ প্রত্যেক all ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ফলসমূহ the fruits فَٱسْلُكِى অতঃপর চলো and follow سُبُلَ পথসমূহে (the) ways رَبِّكِ তোমার রবের (of) your Lord ذُلُلًا "সহজ""" "made smooth""" يَخْرُجُ বের হয় Comes forth مِنۢ থেকে from بُطُونِهَا তাদের পেটসমূহ their bellies شَرَابٌ পানীয় a drink مُّخْتَلِفٌ নানা রকম (of) varying أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ তার রংসমূহ colors فِيهِ মধ্যে তার in it شِفَآءٌ আরোগ্য (আছে) (is) a healing لِّلنَّاسِ মানুষের জন্যে for the mankind إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed فِى মধ্যে in ذَٰلِكَ এর (রয়েছে) that لَءَايَةً অবশ্যই নিদর্শন (is) surely a Sign لِّقَوْمٍ জন্যে লোকদের for a people يَتَفَكَّرُونَ (যারা) চিন্তা ভাবনা করে who reflect
٧٠ وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ And Allah خَلَقَكُمْ সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদের created you ثُمَّ এরপর then يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ তোমাদেরকে মৃত্যু দিবেন will cause you to die وَمِنكُم এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে থেকে And among you مَّن কাউকে (is one) who يُرَدُّ ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হয় is sent back إِلَىٰٓ দিকে to أَرْذَلِ নিকৃষ্টতার the worst ٱلْعُمُرِ বয়সের (of) the age لِكَىْ যেন so that لَا না not يَعْلَمَ জানে he will know بَعْدَ পরেও after عِلْمٍ সবকিছু জানার knowledge شَيْـًٔا কিছুই a thing إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah عَلِيمٌ মহাজ্ঞানী (is) All-Knowing قَدِيرٌ সর্বশক্তিমান All-Powerful
٧١ وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ And Allah فَضَّلَ শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছেন has favored بَعْضَكُمْ তোমাদের কাউকে some of you عَلَىٰ উপরে over بَعْضٍ কারও others فِى বেলায় in ٱلرِّزْقِ জীবনের উপকরণের [the] provision فَمَا অতঃপর না But not ٱلَّذِينَ যাদেরকে those who فُضِّلُوا۟ শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দেয়া হয়েছে were favored بِرَآدِّى প্রত্যাবর্তনকারী would hand over رِزْقِهِمْ জীবিকা তাদের their provision عَلَىٰ কাছে to مَا (গোলামদের) যা whom مَلَكَتْ মালিক (হয়েছে) possess أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ তাদের ডানহাতসমূহ their right hands فَهُمْ যেন তারা so (that) they فِيهِ সে বিষয়ে (are) in it سَوَآءٌ (হ'তে পারে) সমান equal أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ তবে কি অনুগ্রহকে Then is it the Favor ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর of Allah يَجْحَدُونَ তারা অস্বীকার করে they reject?
٧٢ وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ And Allah جَعَلَ সৃষ্টি করেছেন (has) made لَكُم জন্যে তোমাদের for you مِّنْ মধ্য হ'তে from أَنفُسِكُمْ তোমাদের স্বজাতীয়দের yourselves أَزْوَٰجًا জোড়াসমূহ spouses وَجَعَلَ এবং সৃষ্টি করেছেন and has made لَكُم জন্যে তোমাদের for you مِّنْ থেকে from أَزْوَٰجِكُم তোমাদের যুগলগুলো your spouses بَنِينَ পুত্রসমূহ sons وَحَفَدَةً ও পৌত্রসমূহ and grandsons وَرَزَقَكُم এবং তোমাদের জীবিকা দিয়েছেন and has provided for you مِّنَ থেকে from ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ উত্তম বস্তু the good things أَفَبِٱلْبَٰطِلِ কি তবে উপর বাতিলের Then in falsehood do يُؤْمِنُونَ তারা ঈমান আনবে they believe وَبِنِعْمَتِ এবং অনুগ্রহসমূহকে and the Favor ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর of Allah هُمْ তারা they يَكْفُرُونَ অস্বীকার করবে disbelieve?
٧٣ وَيَعْبُدُونَ এবং তারা উপাসনা করবে (কি) And they worship مِن থেকে other than دُونِ ছাড়া other than ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (অন্য কিছুকে) Allah مَا যা which لَا না not يَمْلِكُ ক্ষমতা রাখে possesses لَهُمْ জন্যে তাদেন for them رِزْقًا জীবিকার any provision مِّنَ থেকে from ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ আকাশমন্ডলী the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ অথবা পৃথিবী (থেকে) and the earth شَيْـًٔا কিছুমাত্র [anything] وَلَا এবং না and not يَسْتَطِيعُونَ তারা (কিছুই) করতে সক্ষম they are able
٧٤ فَلَا সুতরাং না So (do) not تَضْرِبُوا۟ তোমরা বর্ণনা করো put forth لِلَّهِ জন্যে আল্লাহর for Allah ٱلْأَمْثَالَ (কাউকে) সদৃশ the similitude إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah يَعْلَمُ জানেন knows وَأَنتُمْ এবং তোমরা and you لَا না (do) not تَعْلَمُونَ জানো know
٧٥ ضَرَبَ বর্ণনা করছেন Allah sets forth ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah sets forth مَثَلًا উপমা the example عَبْدًا একজন দাসের (of) a slave مَّمْلُوكًا অপরের অধিকারভুক্ত (who is) owned لَّا না not يَقْدِرُ সে ক্ষমতা রাখে he has power عَلَىٰ উপর on شَىْءٍ কোনো কিছু (খরচ করতে) anything وَمَن এবং (এমন এক ব্যক্তির) যাকে and (one) whom رَّزَقْنَٰهُ তাকে আমরা জীবিকা দিয়েছি We provided him مِنَّا আমাদের থেকে from Us رِزْقًا জীবিকা a provision حَسَنًا উত্তম good فَهُوَ অতঃপর সে so he يُنفِقُ ব্যয় করে spends مِنْهُ থেকে তা from it سِرًّا গোপনে secretly وَجَهْرًا ও প্রকাশ্যে and publicly هَلْ কি Can يَسْتَوُۥنَ তারা সমান হয় they be equal? ٱلْحَمْدُ প্রশংসা মাত্রই All praise لِلَّهِ জন্যে আল্লাহর (is) for Allah! بَلْ বরং Nay أَكْثَرُهُمْ তাদের অধিকাংশই but most of them لَا না (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ জানে know
٧٦ وَضَرَبَ এবং বর্ণনা করেন And Allah sets forth ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ And Allah sets forth مَثَلًا উপমা an example رَّجُلَيْنِ দু'ব্যক্তির (of) two men أَحَدُهُمَآ তাদের দু'জনের একজন one of them أَبْكَمُ বোবা (is) dumb لَا না not يَقْدِرُ ক্ষমতা রাখে he has power عَلَىٰ উপর on شَىْءٍ কোনো কিছুর anything وَهُوَ এবং সে while he كَلٌّ বোঝা (is) a burden عَلَىٰ উপর on مَوْلَىٰهُ তার প্রভুর his master أَيْنَمَا যেদিকেই Wherever يُوَجِّههُّ তাকে পাঠায় he directs him لَا না not يَأْتِ আসে he comes بِخَيْرٍ নিয়ে ভালো (কিছুই) with any good هَلْ কি Is يَسْتَوِى সমান হয় equal هُوَ সে he وَمَن ও যে and (the one) who يَأْمُرُ নির্দেশ দেয় commands بِٱلْعَدْلِ ন্যায়ের [of] justice وَهُوَ এবং সে (আছে) and he عَلَىٰ উপর (is) on صِرَٰطٍ পথের a path مُّسْتَقِيمٍ সরল-সঠিক straight?
٧٧ وَلِلَّهِ এবং আল্লাহরই আছে And to Allah (belongs) غَيْبُ অদৃশ্যের (জ্ঞান) (the) unseen ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ আকাশমন্ডলীর (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ ও পৃথিবীর and the earth وَمَآ এবং নয় And not أَمْرُ ব্যাপার (is the) matter ٱلسَّاعَةِ ক্বিয়ামাতের (of) the Hour إِلَّا এ ছাড়া (যে) but كَلَمْحِ মতো পলকের as a twinkling ٱلْبَصَرِ চোখের (of) the eye أَوْ বরং or هُوَ তা it أَقْرَبُ তারও চেয়ে নিকটতর (is) nearer إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah عَلَىٰ উপর on كُلِّ সব every شَىْءٍ কিছুর thing قَدِيرٌ সর্বশক্তিমান (is) All-Powerful
٧٨ وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ And Allah أَخْرَجَكُم বের করেন তোমাদের brought you forth مِّنۢ থেকে from بُطُونِ পেটসমূহ the wombs أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ তোমাদের মায়ের (এ অবস্থায় যে) (of) your mothers لَا না not تَعْلَمُونَ তোমরা জানো knowing شَيْـًٔا কিছুই anything وَجَعَلَ এবং দিয়েছেন and made لَكُمُ জন্যে তোমাদের for you ٱلسَّمْعَ শ্রবণশক্তিসমূহ the hearing وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ এবং দৃষ্টিশক্তিসমূহ and the sight وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ এবং হৃদয়সমূহ and the hearts لَعَلَّكُمْ সম্ভবত তোমরা so that you may تَشْكُرُونَ তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করো give thanks
٧٩ أَلَمْ নি কি Do not يَرَوْا۟ তারা লক্ষ্য করে they see إِلَى প্রতি towards ٱلطَّيْرِ (উড়ন্ত) পাখীগুলোর the birds مُسَخَّرَٰتٍ নিয়মের অধীন controlled فِى মধ্যে in جَوِّ শূণ্যের the midst ٱلسَّمَآءِ আকাশের (of) the sky? مَا না None يُمْسِكُهُنَّ তাদের কেউ ধরে রাখে holds them up إِلَّا ছাড়া except ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed فِى মধ্যে রয়েছে in ذَٰلِكَ এর that لَءَايَٰتٍ অবশ্যই নিদর্শনসমূহ (are) Signs لِّقَوْمٍ জন্যে লোকদের for a people يُؤْمِنُونَ (যারা) ঈমান আনে who believe
٨٠ وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ And Allah جَعَلَ বানিয়েছেন (has) made لَكُم জন্যে তোমাদের for you مِّنۢ থেকে [from] بُيُوتِكُمْ তোমাদের ঘরগুলো your homes سَكَنًا আবাসস্থল a resting place وَجَعَلَ ও বানিয়েছেন and made لَكُم জন্যে তোমাদের for you مِّن দিয়ে from جُلُودِ চামড়াগুলোকে the hides ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ গবাদিপশুর (of) the cattle بُيُوتًا এমন ঘর tents تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا তা তোমরা হালকা মনে করো which you find light يَوْمَ দিনে (on) the day ظَعْنِكُمْ তোমাদের ভ্রমনের (of) your travel وَيَوْمَ ও দিনে and the day إِقَامَتِكُمْ তোমাদের অবস্থানের (of) your encampment; وَمِنْ এবং থেকে and from أَصْوَافِهَا তার পশমগুলো their wool وَأَوْبَارِهَا ও তার লোমগুলো and their fur وَأَشْعَارِهَآ ও তার চুলগুলো and their hair أَثَٰثًا গৃহসামগ্রী (is) furnishing وَمَتَٰعًا ও ব্যবহার উপকরণ and a provision إِلَىٰ পর্যন্ত for حِينٍ নির্দিষ্ট সময় a time
٨١ وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ And Allah جَعَلَ ব্যবস্থা করেছেন (has) made لَكُم জন্যে তোমাদের for you مِّمَّا তা হ'তে যা from what خَلَقَ তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন He created ظِلَٰلًا ছায়াসমূহের shades وَجَعَلَ এবং বানিয়েছেন and (has) made لَكُم জন্যে তোমাদের for you مِّنَ মধ্যে from ٱلْجِبَالِ পাহাড়সমূহের the mountains أَكْنَٰنًا আশ্রয়স্থলসমূহ shelters وَجَعَلَ এবং ব্যবস্থা করেছেন and (has) made لَكُمْ জন্যে তোমাদের for you سَرَٰبِيلَ পোশাকসমূহের garments تَقِيكُمُ রক্ষা করে তোমাদের to protect you ٱلْحَرَّ গরমে (from) the heat وَسَرَٰبِيلَ ও পোশাকসমূহ (বর্ম) and garments تَقِيكُم রক্ষা করে তোমাদের to protect you بَأْسَكُمْ তোমাদের যুদ্ধে from your (mutual) violence كَذَٰلِكَ এভাবে Thus يُتِمُّ তিনি পূর্ণ করেন He completes نِعْمَتَهُۥ অনুগ্রহ তাঁর His Favor عَلَيْكُمْ ওপর তোমাদের upon you لَعَلَّكُمْ সম্ভবত তোমরা so that you may تُسْلِمُونَ আত্নসমর্পণ করবে submit
٨٢ فَإِن অতঃপর যদি Then if تَوَلَّوْا۟ তারা মুখ ফিরায় they turn away فَإِنَّمَا তবে কেবল then only عَلَيْكَ তোমার উপর দায়িত্ব upon you ٱلْبَلَٰغُ (দীনের দাওয়াত) পৌঁছানো (is) the conveyance ٱلْمُبِينُ সুস্পষ্টভাবে the clear
٨٣ يَعْرِفُونَ তারা জানে They recognize نِعْمَتَ অনুগ্রহসমূহকে (the) Favor ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah; ثُمَّ এরপর then يُنكِرُونَهَا তা তারা অস্বীকার করে they deny it وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ এবং তাদের অধিকাংশ And most of them ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ কাফের (are) the disbelievers
٨٤ وَيَوْمَ এবং যেদিন And the Day نَبْعَثُ উত্থিত করবো আমরা We will resurrect مِن থেকে from كُلِّ প্রত্যেক every أُمَّةٍ সম্প্রদায় nation شَهِيدًا সাক্ষী a witness ثُمَّ এরপর then لَا না not يُؤْذَنُ অনুমতি দেয়া হবে will be permitted لِلَّذِينَ (তাদের) যারা to those who كَفَرُوا۟ অস্বীকার করেছে disbelieved وَلَا এবং না and not هُمْ তাদের they يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ সন্তুষ্টি লাভের সুযোগ দেয়া হবে will be asked to make amends
٨٥ وَإِذَا এবং যখন And when رَءَا দেখবে (will) see ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who ظَلَمُوا۟ সীমালঙ্ঘন করেছে wronged ٱلْعَذَابَ শাস্তি the punishment فَلَا তখন না then not يُخَفَّفُ লাঘব করা হবে it will be lightened عَنْهُمْ তাদের থেকে for them وَلَا এবং না and not هُمْ তাদের they يُنظَرُونَ অবকাশ দেয়া হবে will be given respite
٨٦ وَإِذَا এবং যখন And when رَءَا দেখবে (will) see ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who أَشْرَكُوا۟ শিরক করেছে associated partners with Allah شُرَكَآءَهُمْ তাদের শরীকদেরকে their partners قَالُوا۟ তারা বলবে They will say رَبَّنَا """হে আমাদের রব" """Our Lord" هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ এসব these شُرَكَآؤُنَا আমাদের শরীকরা (are) our partners ٱلَّذِينَ যাদের those whom كُنَّا আমরা ছিলাম we used to نَدْعُوا۟ আমরা ডাকতাম invoke مِن "ছাড়া""" "besides You""" دُونِكَ "আপনাকে""" "besides You""" فَأَلْقَوْا۟ তখন ফিরিয়ে দিবে But they (will) throw back إِلَيْهِمُ দিকে তাদের at them ٱلْقَوْلَ কথা (their) word إِنَّكُمْ """নিশ্চয়ই তোমরা" """Indeed لَكَٰذِبُونَ "অবশ্যই মিথ্যাবাদী""" "(are) surely liars"""
٨٧ وَأَلْقَوْا۟ এবং নিজেদেরকে সমর্পণ করবে And they (will) offer إِلَى কাছে to ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর Allah يَوْمَئِذٍ সেদিন (on) that Day ٱلسَّلَمَ বশ্যতা স্বীকার করে the submission وَضَلَّ এবং হারিয়ে যাবে and (is) lost عَنْهُم থেকে তাদের from them مَّا যা what كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো they used (to) يَفْتَرُونَ উদ্ভাবন করে invent
٨٨ ٱلَّذِينَ যারা And those who كَفَرُوا۟ অস্বীকার করেছে disbelieved وَصَدُّوا۟ ও বাঁধা দিয়েছে and hindered عَن থেকে from سَبِيلِ পথ (the) way ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah زِدْنَٰهُمْ আমরা বাড়াবো তাদের We will increase them عَذَابًا শাস্তি (in) punishment فَوْقَ উপরে over ٱلْعَذَابِ শাস্তির punishment بِمَا এ কারণে যা because كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো they used (to) يُفْسِدُونَ তারা অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করে spread corruption
٨٩ وَيَوْمَ এবং সেদিন And the Day نَبْعَثُ আমরা উঠাবো We will resurrect فِى মধ্যে among كُلِّ প্রত্যেক every أُمَّةٍ সম্প্রদায়ের nation شَهِيدًا একজন সাক্ষী a witness عَلَيْهِم বিরুদ্ধে তাদের over them مِّنْ মধ্য থেকে from أَنفُسِهِمْ নিজেদের তাদের themselves وَجِئْنَا এবং আমরা আসবো And We (will) bring بِكَ নিয়ে তোমাকে you شَهِيدًا সাক্ষী (স্বরূপ) (as) a witness عَلَىٰ বিরুদ্ধে over هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ এদের these وَنَزَّلْنَا এবং আমরা অবতীর্ণ করেছি And We sent down عَلَيْكَ তোমার উপর to you ٱلْكِتَٰبَ (এই) কিতাব the Book تِبْيَٰنًا সুস্পষ্ট বর্ণনা করা (as) a clarification لِّكُلِّ জন্যে প্রত্যেক of every شَىْءٍ বস্তুর thing وَهُدًى ও পথ নির্দেশ and a guidance وَرَحْمَةً ও অনুগ্রহ and mercy وَبُشْرَىٰ এবং সুসংবাদ and glad tidings لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ জন্যে আত্নসমর্পণকারীদের for the Muslims
٩٠ إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah يَأْمُرُ নির্দেশ দেন commands بِٱلْعَدْلِ ব্যাপারে ন্যায়ের justice وَٱلْإِحْسَٰنِ সদাচরণ and the good وَإِيتَآئِ ও দান করার and giving ذِى সম্পন্ন (to) relatives ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ নৈকট্য (আত্নীয়-স্বজনকে) (to) relatives وَيَنْهَىٰ এবং নিষেধ করেন and forbids عَنِ থেকে [from] ٱلْفَحْشَآءِ অশ্লীলতা the immorality وَٱلْمُنكَرِ ও অসৎ কাজ and the bad وَٱلْبَغْىِ ও সীমালঙ্ঘন and the oppression يَعِظُكُمْ তিনি উপদেশ দিচ্ছেন তোমাদের He admonishes you لَعَلَّكُمْ যাতে তোমরা so that you may تَذَكَّرُونَ শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করো take heed
٩١ وَأَوْفُوا۟ তোমরা পূর্ণ করো And fulfil بِعَهْدِ অঙ্গীকার the covenant ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah إِذَا যখন when عَٰهَدتُّمْ তোমরা অঙ্গীকার করেছো you have taken a covenant وَلَا এবং না and (do) not تَنقُضُوا۟ তোমরা ভঙ্গ করো break ٱلْأَيْمَٰنَ শপথসমূহকে oaths بَعْدَ পরে after تَوْكِيدِهَا দৃঢ় করার তা their confirmation وَقَدْ এবং নিশ্চয়ই while verily جَعَلْتُمُ তোমরা করেছো you have made ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহকে Allah عَلَيْكُمْ উপর তোমাদের over you كَفِيلًا অভিভাবক a surety إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah يَعْلَمُ জানেন knows مَا যা what تَفْعَلُونَ তোমরা কাজ কর্ম করছো you do
٩٢ وَلَا এবং না And (do) not تَكُونُوا۟ তোমরা হয়ো be كَٱلَّتِى মতো সেই (মহিলার) like her who نَقَضَتْ যে কেটেছে untwists غَزْلَهَا তার সূতা her spun yarn مِنۢ থেকে after بَعْدِ পর after قُوَّةٍ শক্ত করার strength أَنكَٰثًا টুকরো টুকরো (করে ফেলেছে) (into) untwisted strands تَتَّخِذُونَ তোমরা গ্রহণ করছো you take أَيْمَٰنَكُمْ শপথগুলোকে তোমাদের your oaths دَخَلًۢا প্রবঞ্চনার মাধ্যম (as) a deception بَيْنَكُمْ মাঝে তোমাদের between you أَن যেন because تَكُونَ হয় is أُمَّةٌ একদল a community هِىَ তা [it] أَرْبَىٰ বেশী লাভবান more numerous مِنْ থেকে than أُمَّةٍ (অন্য) একদল (another) community إِنَّمَا প্রকৃতপক্ষে Only يَبْلُوكُمُ পরীক্ষা করেন তোমাদের Allah tests you ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah tests you بِهِۦ দিয়ে তা by it وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ এবং অবশ্যই স্পষ্ট করে দিবেন And He will make clear لَكُمْ জন্যে তোমাদের to you يَوْمَ দিনে (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ক্বিয়ামাতের (of) the Resurrection مَا যা what كُنتُمْ তোমরা ছিলে you used (to) فِيهِ তার মধ্যে in it تَخْتَلِفُونَ তোমরা মত-বিরোধ করতে differ
٩٣ وَلَوْ এবং যদি And if شَآءَ ইচ্ছে করতেন Allah (had) willed ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah (had) willed لَجَعَلَكُمْ অবশ্যই তিনি করতেন তোমাদের surely He (could) have made you أُمَّةً জাতি a nation وَٰحِدَةً একই one وَلَٰكِن কিন্তু but يُضِلُّ তিনি পথভ্রষ্ট করেন He lets go astray مَن যাকে whom يَشَآءُ ইচ্ছে করেন He wills وَيَهْدِى এবং পথ দেখান and guides مَن যাকে whom يَشَآءُ ইচ্ছে করেন He wills وَلَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ এবং তোমাদের অবশ্যই প্রশ্ন করা হবে And surely you will be questioned عَمَّا তা সম্পর্কে যা about what كُنتُمْ তোমরা ছিলে you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ তোমরা কাজ করতে do
٩٤ وَلَا এটা না And (do) not تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ তোমরা গ্রহণ করো take أَيْمَٰنَكُمْ শপথগুলোকে তোমাদের your oaths دَخَلًۢا প্রবঞ্চনার মাধ্যম (as) a deception بَيْنَكُمْ মাঝে তোমাদের between you فَتَزِلَّ তাহ'লে পিছলে যাবে lest should slip قَدَمٌۢ পা a foot بَعْدَ পরে after ثُبُوتِهَا তা স্থির হওয়ার it is firmly planted وَتَذُوقُوا۟ এবং তোমরা স্বাদ নিবে and you would taste ٱلسُّوٓءَ মন্দ the evil بِمَا এ কারণে যা for what صَدَدتُّمْ তোমরা বাধা দিয়েছো you hindered عَن (লোকদেরকে) থেকে from سَبِيلِ পথ (the) way ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah وَلَكُمْ এবং জন্যে তোমাদের and for you عَذَابٌ শাস্তি (is) a punishment عَظِيمٌ মহাকঠিন great
٩٥ وَلَا এবং না And (do) not تَشْتَرُوا۟ তোমরা বিক্রি করো exchange بِعَهْدِ সাথে (করা) প্রতিশ্রুতিকে the covenant ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah ثَمَنًا মূল্যে (for) a price قَلِيلًا সামান্য little إِنَّمَا প্রকৃতপক্ষে Indeed what عِندَ কাছে (যা) (is) with ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর Allah هُوَ তা-ই it خَيْرٌ উত্তম (is) better لَّكُمْ জন্যে তোমাদের for you إِن যদি if كُنتُمْ তোমরা ছিলে you were (to) تَعْلَمُونَ তোমরা জানো know
٩٦ مَا যা কিছু Whatever عِندَكُمْ কাছে আছে তোমাদের (is) with you يَنفَدُ (তা) শেষ হয়ে যাবে will be exhausted وَمَا এবং যা আছে and whatever عِندَ কাছে (is) with ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর Allah بَاقٍ তা স্থায়ী (will) be remaining وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ এবং আমরা অবশ্যই প্রতিফল দিবো And surely We will pay ٱلَّذِينَ (তাদের) যারা those who صَبَرُوٓا۟ ধৈর্য ধরেছে (are) patient أَجْرَهُم পুরস্কার তাদের their reward بِأَحْسَنِ ভাবে অতি উত্তম to (the) best مَا যা (of) what كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَ তারা কাজ করতে do
٩٧ مَنْ যে Whoever عَمِلَ কাজ করবে does صَٰلِحًا সৎ righteous deeds مِّن মধ্যে whether ذَكَرٍ পুরুষদের male أَوْ বা or أُنثَىٰ নারীদের female وَهُوَ যখন সে while he مُؤْمِنٌ ঈমানদারও (is) a believer فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُۥ তখন অবশ্যই তাকে জীবন দিবো আমরা then surely We will give him life حَيَوٰةً জীবন a life طَيِّبَةً পবিত্র good وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ এবং অবশ্যই তাদের প্রতিদান দিবো আমরা and We will pay them أَجْرَهُم পুরস্কার তাদের their reward بِأَحْسَنِ ভাবে অতি উত্তম to (the) best مَا যা of what كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَ তারা করতে do
٩٨ فَإِذَا অতঃপর যখন So when قَرَأْتَ তুমি পাঠ করবে you recite ٱلْقُرْءَانَ কুরআন the Quran فَٱسْتَعِذْ তখন আশ্রয় চাইবে seek refuge بِٱللَّهِ কাছে আল্লাহর in Allah مِنَ থেকে from ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ শয়তান the Shaitaan ٱلرَّجِيمِ বিতাড়িত the accursed
٩٩ إِنَّهُۥ সে নিশ্চয়ই (এমন যে) Indeed he لَيْسَ নেই not لَهُۥ জন্যে তার for him سُلْطَٰنٌ আধিপত্য (is) any authority عَلَى (তাদের) উপর on ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who ءَامَنُوا۟ ঈমান এনেছে believe وَعَلَىٰ এবং উপর and upon رَبِّهِمْ তাদের রবের their Lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَ তারা নির্ভর করে they put their trust
١٠٠ إِنَّمَا মূলতঃ Only سُلْطَٰنُهُۥ তার আধিপত্য his authority عَلَى (তাদের) উপর (is) over ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُۥ তাকে অভিভাবক বানিয়েছে take him as an ally وَٱلَّذِينَ ও যারা (এমন যে) and those who هُم তারা [they] بِهِۦ সাথে তাঁর with Him مُشْرِكُونَ শরীককারী associate partners
١٠١ وَإِذَا এবং যখন And when بَدَّلْنَآ আমরা বদলে দিই We substitute ءَايَةً এক আয়াতকে a Verse مَّكَانَ জায়গায় (in) place ءَايَةٍ (অপর) আয়াতের (of) a Verse وَٱللَّهُ এবং আল্লাহ্ and Allah - أَعْلَمُ খুব জানেন (is) most knowing بِمَا ঐ বিষয়ে যা of what يُنَزِّلُ তিনি অবতীর্ণ করেন He sends down قَالُوٓا۟ তারা বলে they say إِنَّمَآ """মূলতঃ" """Only" أَنتَ তুমি you مُفْتَرٍۭ "(কুরআন) রচনাকারী""" "(are) an inventor""" بَلْ বরং Nay أَكْثَرُهُمْ অধিকাংশই তাদের most of them لَا না (do) not يَعْلَمُونَ তারা জানে know
١٠٢ قُلْ বলো Say نَزَّلَهُۥ """তা অবতীর্ণ করেন" """Has brought it down" رُوحُ আত্না the Holy Spirit ٱلْقُدُسِ পবিত্র (জিব্রাইল আঃ) the Holy Spirit مِن থেকে from رَّبِّكَ তোমার রবের your Lord بِٱلْحَقِّ ভাবে যথাযথ in truth لِيُثَبِّتَ জন্যে দৃঢ় প্রতিষ্ঠিত করার to make firm ٱلَّذِينَ (তাদেরকে) যারা those who ءَامَنُوا۟ ঈমান এনেছে believe وَهُدًى এবং পথ নির্দেশ and (as) a guidance وَبُشْرَىٰ ও সুসংবাদ and glad tidings لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ "আত্নসমর্পণকারীদের""" "to the Muslims"""
١٠٣ وَلَقَدْ এবং নিশ্চয়ই And certainly نَعْلَمُ জানি আমরা We know أَنَّهُمْ যে তারা that they يَقُولُونَ বলে say إِنَّمَا """প্রকৃতপক্ষে" """Only" يُعَلِّمُهُۥ তাকে শিখিয়েছে teaches him بَشَرٌ "এক মানুষ""" "a human being""" لِّسَانُ ভাষা (The) tongue ٱلَّذِى যার (of) the one يُلْحِدُونَ তারা ইঙ্গিত করে they refer إِلَيْهِ দিকে তার to him أَعْجَمِىٌّ অ-আরবি (is) foreign وَهَٰذَا অথচ এটা while this لِسَانٌ ভাষা (is) a language عَرَبِىٌّ আরবি Arabic مُّبِينٌ স্পষ্ট clear
١٠٤ إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who لَا না (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ ঈমান আনে believe بِـَٔايَٰتِ প্রতি উপর নিদর্শনসমূহের in the Verses ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah لَا না not يَهْدِيهِمُ পথ দেখান তাদের Allah will guide them ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah will guide them وَلَهُمْ এবং জন্যে তাদের and for them عَذَابٌ শাস্তি (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ নিদারুণ painful
١٠٥ إِنَّمَا প্রকৃতপক্ষে Only يَفْتَرِى রচনা করে they invent ٱلْكَذِبَ মিথ্যা the falsehood ٱلَّذِينَ (তারাই) যারা those who لَا না (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ ঈমান আনে believe بِـَٔايَٰتِ প্রতি উপর নিদর্শনসমূহের in the Verses ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ এবং ঐসব লোক and those - هُمُ তারাই they ٱلْكَٰذِبُونَ মিথ্যাবাদী (are) the liars
١٠٦ مَن যে Whoever كَفَرَ অস্বীকার করে disbelieves بِٱللَّهِ সাথে আল্লাহর in Allah مِنۢ থেকে after بَعْدِ পর after إِيمَٰنِهِۦٓ তার ঈমানের his belief إِلَّا এ ছাড়া except مَنْ যাকে (one) who أُكْرِهَ বাধ্য করা হয়েছে is forced وَقَلْبُهُۥ অথচ তার অন্তর while his heart مُطْمَئِنٌّۢ অটল (is) content بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ উপর ঈমানের with the faith وَلَٰكِن কিন্তু (তার কথা ভিন্ন) But مَّن যার (one) who شَرَحَ উন্মুক্ত রাখে opens بِٱلْكُفْرِ জন্যে কুফুরীর to disbelief صَدْرًا অন্তরকে (his) breast فَعَلَيْهِمْ তাহ'লে উপর তাদরর then upon them غَضَبٌ রাগ (is) a wrath مِّنَ থেকে of ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর Allah وَلَهُمْ এবং জন্যে তাদের and for them عَذَابٌ শাস্তি (is) a punishment عَظِيمٌ মহা great
١٠٧ ذَٰلِكَ এটা That (is) بِأَنَّهُمُ এজন্য যে তারা because ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ প্রাধান্য দিয়েছে they preferred ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ জীবনকে the life ٱلدُّنْيَا পার্থিব (of) the world عَلَى উপর over ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ আখেরাতের the Hereafter وَأَنَّ এবং (এও) যে and that ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah لَا না (does) not يَهْدِى পথ দেখান guide ٱلْقَوْمَ সম্প্রদায়কে the people ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ কাফের the disbelievers
١٠٨ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ঐসব লোক Those ٱلَّذِينَ (তারাই) যাদের (are) the ones طَبَعَ মোহর মেরে দিয়েছেন Allah has set a seal ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah has set a seal عَلَىٰ উপর over قُلُوبِهِمْ অন্তরসমূহের তাদের their hearts وَسَمْعِهِمْ ও শ্রবণশক্তিসমূহের তাদের and their hearing وَأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ ও দৃষ্টিশক্তিসমূহের তাদের and their sight وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ এবং ঐসব লোক And those هُمُ তারাই they are ٱلْغَٰفِلُونَ উদাসীন the heedless
١٠٩ لَا নেই No جَرَمَ সন্দেহ doubt أَنَّهُمْ যে তারা that they فِى মধ্যে in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ আখেরাতের the Hereafter هُمُ তারাই [they] ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত (হবে) (are) the losers
١١٠ ثُمَّ এরপর Then إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই indeed رَبَّكَ তোমার রব your Lord لِلَّذِينَ তাদের জন্যে যারা to those who هَاجَرُوا۟ হিজরত করেছে emigrated مِنۢ থেকে after بَعْدِ পর after مَا হওয়ার what فُتِنُوا۟ নির্যাতিত they had been put to trials ثُمَّ অতঃপর then جَٰهَدُوا۟ জিহাদ করেছে strove hard وَصَبَرُوٓا۟ ও ধৈর্য ধরেছে and were patient إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed رَبَّكَ তোমার রব your Lord مِنۢ থেকে after it بَعْدِهَا এরপর (তাদের জন্যে) after it لَغَفُورٌ অবশ্যই ক্ষমাশীল surely is Oft-Forgiving رَّحِيمٌ পরম দয়ালু Most Merciful
١١١ يَوْمَ (স্মরণ করো) যেদিন (On) the Day تَأْتِى আসবে (when) will come كُلُّ প্রত্যেক every نَفْسٍ ব্যক্তি soul تُجَٰدِلُ যুক্তি দিবে pleading عَن সম্পর্কে for نَّفْسِهَا তার নিজের itself وَتُوَفَّىٰ এবং পূর্ণ দেওয়া হবে and will be paid in full كُلُّ প্রত্যেক every نَفْسٍ ব্যক্তিকে soul مَّا যা what عَمِلَتْ সে কাজ করেছে it did وَهُمْ এবং তাদের (প্রতি) and they لَا না (will) not يُظْلَمُونَ অত্যাচার করা হবে be wronged
١١٢ وَضَرَبَ এবং পেশ করেন And Allah sets forth ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ And Allah sets forth مَثَلًا দৃষ্টান্ত a similitude قَرْيَةً এক জনপদের (of) a town كَانَتْ তা ছিলো (that) was ءَامِنَةً নিরাপদ secure مُّطْمَئِنَّةً নিশ্চিন্ত and content يَأْتِيهَا যেখানে আসতো coming to it رِزْقُهَا তার জীবিকা its provision رَغَدًا প্রচুর (in) abundance مِّن থেকে from كُلِّ প্রত্যেক every مَكَانٍ জায়গা place فَكَفَرَتْ অতঃপর অস্বীকার করলো but it denied بِأَنْعُمِ ব্যাপারে অনুগ্রহসমূহের (the) Favors of Allah ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (the) Favors of Allah فَأَذَٰقَهَا তখন তাকে আস্বাদন করালেন so Allah made it taste ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ so Allah made it taste لِبَاسَ আচ্ছাদন (the) garb ٱلْجُوعِ ক্ষুধার (of) the hunger وَٱلْخَوْفِ ও ভীতির and the fear بِمَا এ কারণে যে for what كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো they used (to) يَصْنَعُونَ তারা করতে do
١١٣ وَلَقَدْ এবং নিশ্চয়ই And certainly جَآءَهُمْ কাছে এসেছিলো তাদের came to them رَسُولٌ একজন রাসূল a Messenger مِّنْهُمْ মধ্য থেকে তাদের from among them فَكَذَّبُوهُ অতঃপর তাকে তারা মিথ্যারোপ করলো but they denied him; فَأَخَذَهُمُ তখন তাদেরকে ধরলো so seized them ٱلْعَذَابُ শাস্তি the punishment وَهُمْ এমতাবস্হায় (যখন) তারা ছিলো while they ظَٰلِمُونَ সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী (were) wrongdoers
١١٤ فَكُلُوا۟ সুতরাং তোমরা খাও So eat مِمَّا তা হ'তে যা of what رَزَقَكُمُ তোমাদের জীবিকা দিয়েছেন Allah has provided you ٱللَّهُ আল্লাহ্ Allah has provided you حَلَٰلًا হালাল lawful طَيِّبًا পবিত্র and good وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ এবং তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করো And be grateful نِعْمَتَ অনুগ্রহসমূহের (for the) Favor ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর (of) Allah إِن যদি if كُنتُمْ তোমরা হও [you] إِيَّاهُ তাঁরই শুধু Him Alone تَعْبُدُونَ তোমরা ইবাদাত করে থাকো you worship
١١٥ إِنَّمَا (আল্লাহ্) মূলতঃ Only حَرَّمَ হারাম করেছেন He has forbidden عَلَيْكُمُ তোমাদের উপর to you ٱلْمَيْتَةَ মৃত (জন্তু) the dead animal وَٱلدَّمَ ও রক্ত and the blood وَلَحْمَ ও গোশতকে and the flesh ٱلْخِنزِيرِ শুকরের (of) the swine وَمَآ এবং যা and what أُهِلَّ নাম নেয়া হয়েছে has been dedicated لِغَيْرِ জন্যে অন্যের to other (than) ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহ্ ছাড়া Allah بِهِۦ তার উপর [with it] فَمَنِ তবে কেউ But (if) one ٱضْطُرَّ নিরুপায় হ'লে (খেতে) (is) forced - غَيْرَ ছাড়া without (being) بَاغٍ বিদ্রোহী হওয়া disobedient وَلَا কিংবা না and not عَادٍ সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী হয়ে a transgressor - فَإِنَّ তবে নিশ্চয়ই then indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah غَفُورٌ ক্ষমাশীল (is) Oft-Forgiving رَّحِيمٌ পরম দয়ালু Most Merciful
١١٦ وَلَا এবং না And (do) not تَقُولُوا۟ তোমরা বলো say لِمَا ঐ বিষয়ে যা for that which تَصِفُ বর্ণনা করে assert أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ তোমাদের জিহবাসমূহ your tongues ٱلْكَذِبَ মিথ্যা the lie هَٰذَا """এটা" """This" حَلَٰلٌ হালাল (is) lawful وَهَٰذَا এবং এটা and this حَرَامٌ "হারাম""" "(is) forbidden""" لِّتَفْتَرُوا۟ যাতে তোমরা রটাবে so that you invent عَلَى উপর about ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ মিথ্যা the lie إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who يَفْتَرُونَ আরোপ করেছে invent عَلَى উপর about ٱللَّهِ আল্লাহর Allah ٱلْكَذِبَ মিথ্যা the lie لَا না they will not succeed يُفْلِحُونَ তারা সফলকাম হয় they will not succeed
١١٧ مَتَٰعٌ (দুনিয়ার) সুখ সম্ভোগ An enjoyment قَلِيلٌ সামান্য little وَلَهُمْ এবং জন্যে তাদের and for them عَذَابٌ শাস্তি (রয়েছে) (is) a punishment أَلِيمٌ নিদারুণ painful
١١٨ وَعَلَى এবং উপর And to ٱلَّذِينَ (তাদের) যারা those who هَادُوا۟ ইহুদী হয়েছে are Jews حَرَّمْنَا আমরা হারাম করেছিলাম We have forbidden مَا যা what قَصَصْنَا আমরা উল্লেখ করেছি We related عَلَيْكَ তোমার নিকট to you مِن থেকে before قَبْلُ পূর্ব before وَمَا এবং না And not ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ তাদের উপর আমরা নির্যাতন করেছি We wronged them وَلَٰكِن কিন্তু but كَانُوٓا۟ তারা ছিলো they used (to) أَنفُسَهُمْ নিজেদের উপর তাদের themselves يَظْلِمُونَ অত্যাচার করতো wrong
١١٩ ثُمَّ এরপর Then إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই indeed رَبَّكَ তোমার রব your Lord لِلَّذِينَ (তাদের) জন্য যারা to those who عَمِلُوا۟ কাজ করেছে did ٱلسُّوٓءَ মন্দ evil بِجَهَٰلَةٍ বশতঃ অজ্ঞতা in ignorance ثُمَّ এরপর then تَابُوا۟ তারা তওবা করেছে repented مِنۢ থেকে after بَعْدِ পর after ذَٰلِكَ এর that وَأَصْلَحُوٓا۟ ও সংশোধন করেছে and corrected themselves إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই indeed رَبَّكَ তোমার রব your Lord مِنۢ থেকে after that بَعْدِهَا এর পর after that لَغَفُورٌ অবশ্যই ক্ষমাশীল (is) surely Oft-Forgiving رَّحِيمٌ পরম দয়ালু Most Merciful
١٢٠ إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ইবরাহীম Ibrahim كَانَ ছিলো was أُمَّةً এক সম্প্রদায় (প্রতীক) a nation قَانِتًا অনুগত obedient لِّلَّهِ জন্যে আল্লাহর to Allah حَنِيفًا একনিষ্ঠ upright وَلَمْ এবং না and not يَكُ ছিলো he was مِنَ অন্তর্ভুক্ত of ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ মুশরিকদের the polytheists
١٢١ شَاكِرًا কৃতজ্ঞ Thankful لِّأَنْعُمِهِ জন্যে তাঁর অনুগ্রহসমূহের for His favors ٱجْتَبَىٰهُ (আল্লাহ্) তাকে মনোনীত করেছিলেন He chose him وَهَدَىٰهُ ও তাকে পরিচালিত করেছিলেন and guided him إِلَىٰ দিকে to صِرَٰطٍ পথের the way مُّسْتَقِيمٍ সরল সঠিক straight
١٢٢ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ এবং তাকে আমরা দিয়েছিলাম And We gave him فِى মধ্যে in ٱلدُّنْيَا দুনিয়ার the world حَسَنَةً কল্যাণ good وَإِنَّهُۥ এবং নিশ্চয়ই সে and indeed he فِى মধ্যে in ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ আখেরাতে (হবে) the Hereafter لَمِنَ অবশ্যই অন্তর্ভুক্ত (he) will surely (be) among ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ সৎকর্মশীলদের the righteous
١٢٣ ثُمَّ এরপর Then أَوْحَيْنَآ আমরা ওহী করেছি We revealed إِلَيْكَ তোমার প্রতি to you أَنِ যে that ٱتَّبِعْ """অনুসরণ করো" """You follow" مِلَّةَ মিল্লাতের (আদর্শের) (the) religion إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ইবরাহীমের (of) Ibrahim حَنِيفًا একনিষ্ঠভাবে upright; وَمَا এবং না and not كَانَ সে ছিলো he was مِنَ অন্তর্ভুক্ত of ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ "মুশরিকদের""" "the polytheists"""
١٢٤ إِنَّمَا প্রকৃতপক্ষে Only جُعِلَ বাধ্যতামূলক করা হয়েছিলো was appointed ٱلسَّبْتُ শনিবার the Sabbath عَلَى উপর for ٱلَّذِينَ (তাদের) যারা those who ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ মতভেদ করেছিলো differed فِيهِ তার মধ্যে in it وَإِنَّ এবং নিশ্চয়ই And indeed رَبَّكَ তোমার রব your Lord لَيَحْكُمُ অবশ্যই মীমাংসা করে দিবেন will surely judge بَيْنَهُمْ তাদের মাঝে between them يَوْمَ দিনে (on) the Day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ক্বিয়ামাতের (of) the Resurrection فِيمَا ঐ বিষয়ে যা in what كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো they used (to) فِيهِ তার মধ্যে [in it] يَخْتَلِفُونَ মতভেদ করতো differ
١٢٥ ٱدْعُ তুমি আহবান করো Call إِلَىٰ দিকে to سَبِيلِ পথের (the) way رَبِّكَ তোমার রবের (of) your Lord بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ সাথে প্রজ্ঞার with the wisdom وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ ও উপদেশ and the instruction ٱلْحَسَنَةِ উত্তম (দ্বারা) the good وَجَٰدِلْهُم এবং তাদের যুক্তি দাও and discuss with them بِٱلَّتِى উপায়ে এমন in that هِىَ যা which أَحْسَنُ অতি উত্তম (is) best إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed رَبَّكَ তোমার রব your Lord هُوَ তিনি He أَعْلَمُ খুব জানেন (is) most knowing بِمَن সম্বন্ধে (তার) যে of who ضَلَّ ভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে has strayed عَن থেকে from سَبِيلِهِۦ তাঁর পথ His way وَهُوَ এবং তিনি And He أَعْلَمُ খুব জানেন (is) most knowing بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ সম্পর্কে সৎপথপ্রাপ্তদের of the guided ones
١٢٦ وَإِنْ এবং যদি And if عَاقَبْتُمْ তোমরা প্রতিশোধ নাও you retaliate فَعَاقِبُوا۟ তবে তোমরা প্রতিশোধ নিবে then retaliate بِمِثْلِ সমান with the like مَا (তার) যা of what عُوقِبْتُم কষ্ট দেয়া হয়েছে তোমাদের you were afflicted بِهِۦ তার সাথে with [it] وَلَئِن কিন্তু অবশ্যই যদি But if صَبَرْتُمْ তোমরা ধৈর্য ধরো you are patient لَهُوَ অবশ্যই তা surely (it) is خَيْرٌ উত্তম better لِّلصَّٰبِرِينَ জন্যে ধৈর্যশীলদের for those who are patient
١٢٧ وَٱصْبِرْ আর তুমি ধৈর্য ধরো And be patient وَمَا এবং না and not صَبْرُكَ তোমার ধৈর্য (সম্ভব) (is) your patience إِلَّا ছাড়া but بِٱللَّهِ সাহায্য আল্লাহর from Allah وَلَا এবং না And (do) not تَحْزَنْ দুঃখ করো grieve عَلَيْهِمْ কারণে তাদের over them وَلَا এবং না and (do) not تَكُ তুমি হয়ো be فِى মধ্যে in ضَيْقٍ সংকীর্ণতার distress مِّمَّا তা থেকে যা for what يَمْكُرُونَ তারা ষড়যন্ত্র করছে they plot
١٢٨ إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱللَّهَ আল্লাহ্ Allah مَعَ সাথে (আছেন) (is) with ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who ٱتَّقَوا۟ তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করে fear (Him) وَّٱلَّذِينَ এবং যারা and those who هُم তারা [they] مُّحْسِنُونَ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ (are) good-doers
