٢ ٱلَّذِينَ যারা Those who إِذَا যখন when ٱكْتَالُوا۟ মেপে নেয় they take a measure عَلَى থেকে from ٱلنَّاسِ লোকদের the people يَسْتَوْفُونَ তারা পূর্ণমাত্রায় নেয় they take in full
٣ وَإِذَا কিন্তু যখন But when كَالُوهُمْ তাদের মেপে দেয় they give by measure (to) them أَو বা or وَّزَنُوهُمْ তাদের ওজন করে দেয় they weigh (for) them يُخْسِرُونَ তারা কম করে দেয় they give less
٤ أَلَا না কি Do not يَظُنُّ চিন্তা করে think أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ঐসব লোকেরা those أَنَّهُم যে তারা that they مَّبْعُوثُونَ আবার ওঠানো হবে (will be) resurrected
٦ يَوْمَ যেদিন (The) Day يَقُومُ দাঁড়াবে will stand ٱلنَّاسُ মানুষ mankind لِرَبِّ রবের সামনে before (the) Lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ বিশ্বজগতের (of) the worlds?
٧ كَلَّآ কখনও না Nay! إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed كِتَٰبَ আমলনামা (the) record ٱلْفُجَّارِ পাপীদের (of) the wicked لَفِى অবশ্যই মধ্যে (আছে) (is) surely in سِجِّينٍ কয়েদখানার Sijjin
٨ وَمَآ এবং কিসে And what أَدْرَىٰكَ তোমাকে বুঝাবে/ জানাবে can make you know مَا (কি) সেই what سِجِّينٌ কয়েদখানা (is) Sijjin?
١٠ وَيْلٌ ধ্বংস Woe يَوْمَئِذٍ সেদিন that Day لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ মিথ্যারোপকারীদের জন্যে to the deniers
١١ ٱلَّذِينَ যারা Those who يُكَذِّبُونَ মিথ্যারোপ করে deny بِيَوْمِ দিন সম্পর্কে (the) Day ٱلدِّينِ বিচারের (of) the Judgment
١٢ وَمَا এবং না And not يُكَذِّبُ মিথ্যারোপ করে can deny بِهِۦٓ এতে [of] it إِلَّا এ ছাড়া except كُلُّ প্রত্যেক every مُعْتَدٍ সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী transgressor أَثِيمٍ পাপী sinful
١٣ إِذَا যখন When تُتْلَىٰ পাঠ করা হয় are recited عَلَيْهِ তার উপর to him ءَايَٰتُنَا আমাদের আয়াতসমূহ Our Verses قَالَ সে বলে he says أَسَٰطِيرُ """(এসব) উপকথা" """Stories" ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ "পূর্ববর্তীদের""" "(of) the former (people)"""
١٤ كَلَّا কখনও না Nay! بَلْ বরং But رَانَ মরচে ধরিয়েছে (the) stain has covered عَلَىٰ উপর [over] قُلُوبِهِم তাদের অন্তরগুলোর their hearts مَّا যা (for) what كَانُوا۟ করছিল they were يَكْسِبُونَ তারা অর্জন earning
١٥ كَلَّآ কখনও না Nay! إِنَّهُمْ নিশ্চয়ই তারা Indeed they عَن থেকে from رَّبِّهِمْ তাদের রবের their Lord يَوْمَئِذٍ সেদিন that Day لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ তারা দর্শন বঞ্চিত হবেই surely will be partitioned
١٦ ثُمَّ অতঃপর Then إِنَّهُمْ নিশ্চয়ই তারা indeed they لَصَالُوا۟ অবশ্যই প্রবেশ করবে (surely) will burn ٱلْجَحِيمِ জাহান্নামে (in) the Hellfire
١٧ ثُمَّ অতঃপর Then يُقَالُ (তাদেরকে) বলা হবে it will be said هَٰذَا """এই" """This" ٱلَّذِى সেই (দিন) (is) what كُنتُم তোমরা ছিলে you used (to) بِهِۦ যে ব্যাপারে [of it] تُكَذِّبُونَ "মিথ্যারোপ করতে""" "deny"""
١٨ كَلَّآ কখনও না Nay! إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed كِتَٰبَ আমলনামা (the) record ٱلْأَبْرَارِ সৎ লোকদের (of) the righteous لَفِى অবশ্যই মধ্যে (will be) surely in عِلِّيِّينَ উচ্চ মর্যাদাসম্পন্ন (দফতরে) Illiyin
١٩ وَمَآ এবং কিসে And what أَدْرَىٰكَ তোমাকে বুঝাবে can make you know مَا কি সেই what عِلِّيُّونَ উচ্চ মর্যাদাসম্পন্ন (দফতর) (is) Illiyun?
٢٢ إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱلْأَبْرَارَ সৎ লোকেরা the righteous لَفِى অবশ্যই মধ্যে (থাকবে) (will be) surely in نَعِيمٍ স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যের bliss
٢٤ تَعْرِفُ তুমি চিনবে You will recognize فِى মধ্যে in وُجُوهِهِمْ তাদের চেহারার their faces نَضْرَةَ দীপ্তি (the) radiance ٱلنَّعِيمِ স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যের (of) bliss
٢٥ يُسْقَوْنَ তাদের পান করানো হবে They will be given to drink مِن হতে of رَّحِيقٍ বিশুদ্ধ পানীয় a pure wine مَّخْتُومٍ মোহর করা sealed
٢٦ خِتَٰمُهُۥ তার মোহর (হবে) Its seal مِسْكٌ কস্তুরির (will be of) musk وَفِى এবং ক্ষেত্রে And for ذَٰلِكَ এই that فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ প্রতিযোগিতা করুক let aspire ٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ প্রতিযোগীরা the aspirers
٢٨ عَيْنًا (এই তাসনীম) একটি ঝর্ণা A spring يَشْرَبُ পান করবে will drink بِهَا তা থেকে from it ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ নৈকট্যপ্রাপ্তগণ those brought near
٢٩ إِنَّ নিশ্চয়ই Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who أَجْرَمُوا۟ অপরাধ করেছে committed crimes كَانُوا۟ তারা ছিলো used (to) مِنَ সাথে at ٱلَّذِينَ যারা those who ءَامَنُوا۟ ঈমান এনেছে believed يَضْحَكُونَ বিদ্রুপ করত (তাদের সাথে) laugh
٣٠ وَإِذَا এবং যখন And when مَرُّوا۟ অতিক্রম করত they passed بِهِمْ তাদের কাছ দিয়ে by them يَتَغَامَزُونَ তারা কটাক্ষ করতো they winked at one another
٣١ وَإِذَا এবং যখন And when ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ ফিরে যেতো they returned إِلَىٰٓ কাছে to أَهْلِهِمُ তাদের পরিজনের their people ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ তারা ফিরে যেতো they would return فَكِهِينَ উৎফুল্ল হয়ে jesting
٣٢ وَإِذَا এবং যখন And when رَأَوْهُمْ তাদেরকে দেখত they saw them قَالُوٓا۟ তারা বলত they said إِنَّ """নিশ্চয়ই" """Indeed" هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ এসব লোক these لَضَآلُّونَ "অবশ্যই বিভ্রান্ত""" "surely have gone astray"""
٣٣ وَمَآ এবং না But not أُرْسِلُوا۟ পাঠানো হয়েছে (কাফেরদেরকে) they had been sent عَلَيْهِمْ তাদের উপর over them حَٰفِظِينَ তত্ত্বাবধায়ক রূপে (as) guardians
٣٤ فَٱلْيَوْمَ অতএব আজ So today ٱلَّذِينَ (সেদিন) যারা those who ءَامَنُوا۟ ঈমান এনেছিলো believed - مِنَ সাথে at ٱلْكُفَّارِ কাফেরদের the disbelievers يَضْحَكُونَ উপহাস করবে they will laugh
٣٦ هَلْ কি Have (not) ثُوِّبَ ফল দেয়া হলো been paid ٱلْكُفَّارُ কাফেরদের the disbelievers مَا যা (for) what كَانُوا۟ (ছিল) they used (to) يَفْعَلُونَ তারা করছিল do?
