بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم تبارك الذي بيده الملك وهو على كل شيء قدير

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Blessed be He in Whose Hand is the dominion; and He is Able to do all things.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
বরকতময় তিনি যার হাতে সর্বময় কর্তৃত্ব। আর তিনি সব কিছুর উপর সর্বশক্তিমান।

الذي خلق الموت والحياة ليبلوكم أيكم أحسن عملا ۚ وهو العزيز الغفور
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
Who has created death and life that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving;
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যিনি মৃত্যু ও জীবন সৃষ্টি করেছেন যাতে তিনি তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করতে পারেন যে, কে তোমাদের মধ্যে আমলের দিক থেকে উত্তম। আর তিনি মহাপরাক্রমশালী, অতিশয় ক্ষমাশীল।

الذي خلق سبع سماوات طباقا ۖ ما ترى في خلق الرحمن من تفاوت ۖ فارجع البصر هل ترى من فطور
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
Who has created the seven heavens one above another; you can see no fault in the creation of the Most Gracious. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?"

যিনি সাত আসমান স্তরে স্তরে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। পরম করুণাময়ের সৃষ্টিতে তুমি কোন অসামঞ্জস্য দেখতে পাবে না। তুমি আবার দৃষ্টি ফিরাও, কোন ত্রুটি দেখতে পাও কি?

ثم ارجع البصر كرتين ينقلب إليك البصر خاسئا وهو حسير

Then look again and yet again: your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতঃপর তুমি দৃষ্টি ফিরাও একের পর এক, সেই দৃষ্টি অবনমিত ও ক্লান্ত হয়ে তোমার দিকে ফিরে আসবে।

ولقد زينا السماء الدنيا بمصابيح وجعلناها رجوما للشياطين ۖ وأعتدنا لهم عذاب السعير

And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps , and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayatin (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire.

আমি নিকটবর্তী আসমানকে প্রদীপপুঞ্জ দ্বারা সুশোভিত করেছি এবং সেগুলোকে শয়তানদের প্রতি নিক্ষেপের বস্তু বানিয়েছি। আর তাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি জ্বলন্ত আগুনের আযাব।

وللذين كفروا بربهم عذاب جهنم ۖ وبئس المصير

And for those who disbelieve in their Lord (Allah) is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination.

আর যারা তাদের রবকে অস্বীকার করে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে জাহান্নামের আযাব। আর কতইনা নিকৃষ্ট সেই প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল!

إذا ألقوا فيها سمعوا لها شهيقا وهي تفور

When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth.

যখন তাদেরকে তাতে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে, তখন তারা তার বিকট শব্দ শুনতে পাবে। আর তা উথলিয়ে উঠবে।

تكاد تميز من الغيظ ۖ كلما ألقي فيها فوج سألهم خزنتها ألم يأتكم نذير

It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?"
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
ক্রোধে তা ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন হবার উপক্রম হবে। যখনই তাতে কোন দলকে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে, তখন তার প্রহরীরা তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে, ‘তোমাদের নিকট কি কোন সতর্ককারী আসেনি’?

قالوا بلى قد جاءنا نذير فكذبنا وقلنا ما نزل الله من شيء إن أنتم إلا في ضلال كبير

They will say: "Yes, indeed a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allah never sent down anything (of revelation); you are only in great error.'"
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা বলবে, ‘হ্যাঁ, আমাদের নিকট সতর্ককারী এসেছিল। তখন আমরা (তাদেরকে) মিথ্যাবাদী আখ্যায়িত করেছিলাম এবং বলেছিলাম, ‘ কিছুই নাযিল করেননি। তোমরা তো ঘোর বিভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছ’।

وقالوا لو كنا نسمع أو نعقل ما كنا في أصحاب السعير

And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!"
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তারা বলবে, ‘যদি আমরা শুনতাম অথবা বুঝতাম, তাহলে আমরা জ্বলন্ত আগুনের অধিবাসীদের মধ্যে থাকতাম না’।

فاعترفوا بذنبهم فسحقا لأصحاب السعير

Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire!

অতঃপর তারা তাদের অপরাধ স্বীকার করবে। অতএব ধ্বংস জ্বলন্ত আগুনের অধিবাসীদের জন্য।

إن الذين يخشون ربهم بالغيب لهم مغفرة وأجر كبير

Verily,, those who fear their Lord unseen (i.e. they do not see Him, nor His punishment in the Hereafter), theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় যারা তাদের রবকে না দেখেই ভয় করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ক্ষমা ও বড় প্রতিদান।

وأسروا قولكم أو اجهروا به ۖ إنه عليم بذات الصدور

And whether you keep your talk secret or disclose it, Verily, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men).

আর তোমরা তোমাদের কথা গোপন কর অথবা তা প্রকাশ কর, নিশ্চয় তিনি অন্তরসমূহে যা আছে সে বিষয়ে সম্যক অবগত।

ألا يعلم من خلق وهو اللطيف الخبير

Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves), All-Aware (of everything).
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তিনি কি জানেন না? অথচ তিনি অতি সূক্ষ্মদর্শী, পূর্ণ অবহিত।

هو الذي جعل لكم الأرض ذلولا فامشوا في مناكبها وكلوا من رزقه ۖ وإليه النشور
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
He it is Who has made the earth subservient to you (i.e. easy for you to walk, to live and to do agriculture on it); so walk in the path thereof and eat of His provision. And to Him will be the Resurrection.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তিনিই তো তোমাদের জন্য যমীনকে সুগম করে দিয়েছেন, কাজেই তোমরা এর পথে-প্রান্তরে বিচরণ কর এবং তাঁর রিয্ক থেকে তোমরা আহার কর। আর তাঁর নিকটই পুনরুত্থান।

أأمنتم من في السماء أن يخسف بكم الأرض فإذا هي تمور

Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not cause the earth to sink with you, and then it should quake?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যিনি আসমানে আছেন,* তিনি তোমাদের সহ যমীন ধসিয়ে দেয়া থেকে কি তোমরা নিরাপদ হয়ে গেছ, অতঃপর আকস্মিকভাবে তা থর থর করে কাঁপতে থাকবে? *‘যিনি আসমানে আছেন’ দ্বারা আল্লাহকে বুঝানো হয়েছে। এর দ্বারা যে আসমানে আছেন, তা প্রমাণিত হয়।

أم أمنتم من في السماء أن يرسل عليكم حاصبا ۖ فستعلمون كيف نذير

Or do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not send against you a violent whirlwind? Then you shall know how (terrible) has been My Warning.

যিনি আসমানে আছেন, তিনি তোমাদের উপর পাথর নিক্ষেপকারী ঝড়ো হাওয়া পাঠানো থেকে তোমরা কি নিরাপদ হয়ে গেছ, তখন তোমরা জানতে পারবে কেমন ছিল আমার সতর্কবাণী?

ولقد كذب الذين من قبلهم فكيف كان نكير
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
And indeed those before them belied (the Messengers of Allah), then how terrible was My denial (punishment)?

আর অবশ্যই তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও অস্বীকার করেছিল। ফলে কেমন ছিল আমার প্রত্যাখ্যান (এর শাস্তি)?

أولم يروا إلى الطير فوقهم صافات ويقبضن ۚ ما يمسكهن إلا الرحمن ۚ إنه بكل شيء بصير

Do they not see the birds above them, spreading out their wings and folding them in? None upholds them except the Most Gracious (Allah). Verily, He is the All-Seer of everything.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা কি লক্ষ্য করেনি তাদের উপরস্থ পাখিদের প্রতি, যারা ডানা বিস্তার করে ও গুটিয়ে নেয়? পরম করুণাময় ছাড়া অন্য কেউ এদেরকে স্থির রাখে না। নিশ্চয় তিনি সব কিছুর সম্যক দ্রষ্টা।

أمن هذا الذي هو جند لكم ينصركم من دون الرحمن ۚ إن الكافرون إلا في غرور

Who is he besides the Most Gracious that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
পরম করুণাময় ছাড়া তোমাদের কি আর কোন সৈন্য আছে, যারা তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে ? কাফিররা শুধু তো ধোঁকায় নিপতিত।

أمن هذا الذي يرزقكم إن أمسك رزقه ۚ بل لجوا في عتو ونفور
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
Who is he that can provide for you if He should withhold His provision? Nay, but they continue to be in pride, and (they) flee (from the truth).
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অথবা এমন কে আছে, যে তোমাদেরকে রিয্ক দান করবে যদি তাঁর রিয্ক বন্ধ করে দেন? বরং তারা অহমিকা ও অনীহায় নিমজ্জিত হয়ে আছে।

أفمن يمشي مكبا على وجهه أهدى أمن يمشي سويا على صراط مستقيم

Is he who walks prone (without seeing) on his face, more rightly guided, or he who (sees and) walks upright on the Straight Way (i.e. Islamic Monotheism)?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যে ব্যক্তি উপুড় হয়ে মুখের উপর ভর দিয়ে চলে সে কি অধিক হিদায়াতপ্রাপ্ত নাকি সেই ব্যক্তি যে সোজা হয়ে সরল পথে চলে ?

قل هو الذي أنشأكم وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة ۖ قليلا ما تشكرون

Say it is He Who has created you, and endowed you with hearing (ears) and seeing (eyes), and hearts. Little thanks you give.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তিনিই তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তোমাদের জন্য শ্রবণ ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি এবং অন্তকরণসমূহ দিয়েছেন। তোমরা খুব অল্পই শোকর কর’।

قل هو الذي ذرأكم في الأرض وإليه تحشرون

Say: "It is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)."
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তিনিই তোমাদেরকে যমীনে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তাঁর কাছেই তোমাদেরকে সমবেত করা হবে’।

ويقولون متى هذا الوعد إن كنتم صادقين

They say: "When will this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) come to pass if you are telling the truth.?"

আর তারা বলে, ‘সে ওয়াদা কখন বাস্তবায়িত হবে, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও’।

قل إنما العلم عند الله وإنما أنا نذير مبين

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "The knowledge (of its exact time) is with Allah only, and I am only a plain warner."
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘এ বিষয়ের জ্ঞান আল্লাহরই নিকট। আর আমি তো স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী মাত্র’।

فلما رأوه زلفة سيئت وجوه الذين كفروا وقيل هذا الذي كنتم به تدعون

But when they will see it (the torment on the Day of Resurrection) approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will change and turn black with sadness and in grief and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise) which you were calling for!"

অতঃপর তারা যখন তা* আসন্ন দেখতে পাবে, তখন কাফিরদের চেহারা মলিন হয়ে যাবে এবং বলা হবে, ‘এটাই হল তা, যা তোমরা দাবী করছিলে’। *কিয়ামতের শাস্তি।

قل أرأيتم إن أهلكني الله ومن معي أو رحمنا فمن يجير الكافرين من عذاب أليم

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Tell me! If Allah destroys me, and those with me, or He bestows His Mercy on us - who can save the disbelievers from a painful torment?"
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি’? যদি আমাকে এবং আমার সাথে যারা আছে, তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দেন অথবা আমাদের প্রতি দয়া করেন, তাহলে কাফিরদেরকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব থেকে কে রক্ষা করবে’?

قل هو الرحمن آمنا به وعليه توكلنا ۖ فستعلمون من هو في ضلال مبين

Say: "He is the Most Gracious (Allah), in Him we believe, and in Him we put our trust. So you will come to know who it is that is in manifest error."
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তিনিই পরম করুণাময়। আমরা তাঁর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি এবং তাঁর উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করেছি। কাজেই তোমরা অচিরেই জানতে পারবে কে স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছে’?

قل أرأيتم إن أصبح ماؤكم غورا فمن يأتيكم بماء معين

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Tell me! If (all) your water were to sink away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?"

বল, ‘তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি তোমাদের পানি ভূগর্ভে চলে যায়, তাহলে কে তোমাদেরকে বহমান পানি এনে দিবে’ ?
