আল মাউন (ক্ষুদ্র সহযোগিতা): আল্লাহ এই সূরাতে কয়েকটি বিষয়ে আলোকপাত করেছেন।

তিনি দুর্ভোগের কথা বলেছেন, যারা অভাবগ্রস্ত /মিসকিনদের খাদ্য দেয় না, সালাত/নামাজে অমনোযোগী ও শুধু লোক দেখানোর জন্য তা করে, আর অন্যদের ছোট ছোট সাহায্য করা থেকেও বিরত থাকে তাদের।

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم أرأيت الذي يكذب بالدين

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ

Pickthall

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Hast thou observed him who belieth religion ?

أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ

فذلك الذي يدع اليتيم

فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ

That is he who repelleth the orphan,

ولا يحض على طعام المسكين

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ

And urgeth not the feeding of the needy.

فويل للمصلين

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ

Ah, woe unto worshippers

الذين هم عن صلاتهم ساهون

الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ

Who are heedless of their prayer;
