Arabic

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم إنا أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه أن أنذر قومك من قبل أن يأتيهم عذاب أليم

Deutsch

Wir sandten ja Nuh zu seinem Volk: "Warne dein Volk, bevor schmerzhafte Strafe über sie kommt."

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Yusuf Ali

We sent Noah to his People (with the Command): "Do thou warn thy People before there comes to them a grievous Penalty."

Arabic

قال يا قوم إني لكم نذير مبين

Deutsch

Er sagte: "O mein Volk, ich bin euch ja ein deutlicher Warner,

قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

Yusuf Ali

He said: "O my People! I am to you a Warner, clear and open:

أن اعبدوا الله واتقوه وأطيعون

Deutsch

(euch zu mahnen:) Dient Allah und fürchtet Ihn, und gehorcht mir,

أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ

Yusuf Ali

"That ye should worship Allah, fear Him and obey me:

Arabic

يغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم إلى أجل مسمى ۚ إن أجل الله إذا جاء لا يؤخر ۖ لو كنتم تعلمون

Deutsch

so wird Er euch (etwas) von euren Sünden vergeben und euch auf eine festgesetzte Frist zurückstellen. Gewiß, Allahs Frist, wenn sie kommt, kann nicht zurückgestellt werden, wenn ihr nur wüßtet!"

يَغْفِرْ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ إِذَا جَاءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ ۖ لَوْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

Yusuf Ali

"So He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a stated Term: for when the Term given by Allah is accomplished, it cannot be put forward: if ye only knew."

قال رب إني دعوت قومي ليلا ونهارا

Deutsch

Er sagte: "Mein Herr, ich habe mein Volk bei Nacht und bei Tag aufgerufen.

Arabic, with marks

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِي لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا

Yusuf Ali

He said: "O my Lord! I have called to my People night and day:

فلم يزدهم دعائي إلا فرارا

Deutsch

Aber mein Rufen hat sie nur in ihrer Flucht bestärkt.

Arabic, with marks

فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَائِي إِلَّا فِرَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"But my call only increases (their) flight (from the Right).

Arabic

وإني كلما دعوتهم لتغفر لهم جعلوا أصابعهم في آذانهم واستغشوا ثيابهم وأصروا واستكبروا استكبارا

Deutsch

Gewiß, jedesmal, wenn ich sie aufrief, damit Du ihnen vergibst, steckten sie ihre Finger in ihre Ohren, überdeckten sich mit ihren Gewändern, verharrten (im Irrtum) und verhielten sich sehr hochmütig.

وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوا أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا اسْتِكْبَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"And every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance.

ثم إني دعوتهم جهارا

Deutsch

Hierauf richtete ich an sie den Ruf dann öffentlich.

ثُمَّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"So I have called to them aloud;

Arabic

ثم إني أعلنت لهم وأسررت لهم إسرارا

Deutsch

Hierauf sprach ich zu ihnen offen und ganz im geheimen.

ثُمَّ إِنِّي أَعْلَنتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"Further I have spoken to them in public and secretly in private,

فقلت استغفروا ربكم إنه كان غفارا

Deutsch

Ich sagte: .Bittet euren Herrn um Vergebung - Er ist ja Allvergebend -,

فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا

Yusuf Ali

"Saying, 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft - Forgiving;

Arabic

يرسل السماء عليكم مدرارا

Deutsch

so wird Er den Regen auf euch ergiebig (herab)senden

يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"'He will send rain to you in abundance;

Arabic

ويمددكم بأموال وبنين ويجعل لكم جنات ويجعل لكم أنهارا

Deutsch

und euch mit Besitz und Söhnen unterstützen und für euch Gärten machen und für euch Bäche machen.

Arabic, with marks

وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"'Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water).

ما لكم لا ترجون لله وقارا

Deutsch

Was ist mit euch, daß ihr nicht glaubt, von Allah würdevoll behandelt zu werden,

مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"'What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long - suffering in Allah, -

وقد خلقكم أطوارا

Deutsch

wo Er euch doch in Entwicklungsabschnitten erschaffen hat?

وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"'Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages?

Arabic

ألم تروا كيف خلق الله سبع سماوات طباقا

Deutsch

Seht ihr nicht, wie Allah sieben Himmel in Schichten (übereinander) erschaffen hat,

Arabic, with marks

أَلَمْ تَرَوْا كَيْفَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا

Yusuf Ali

"'See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another,

وجعل القمر فيهن نورا وجعل الشمس سراجا

Deutsch

den Mond darin zu einem Licht gemacht und die Sonne zu einem Leuchtkörper gemacht hat?

Arabic, with marks

وَجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا

Yusuf Ali

"'And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?

والله أنبتكم من الأرض نباتا

Deutsch

Und Allah hat euch aus der Erde heranwachsen lassen.

Arabic, with marks

وَاللَّهُ أَنبَتَكُم مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا

Yusuf Ali

"'And Allah has produced you from the earth growing (gradually),

Arabic

ثم يعيدكم فيها ويخرجكم إخراجا

Deutsch

Hierauf wird Er euch in sie zurückbringen und gewiß (wieder aus ihr) hervorbringen.

ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًا

Yusuf Ali

"'And in the End He will return you into the (earth), and raise you forth (again at the Resurrection)?

Arabic

والله جعل لكم الأرض بساطا

Deutsch

Und Allah hat euch die Erde zu einer ausgebreiteten Unterlage gemacht,

Arabic, with marks

وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا

Yusuf Ali

"'And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out),

Arabic

لتسلكوا منها سبلا فجاجا

Deutsch

damit ihr auf ihr dahinziehen könnt - auf Wegen als breiten Durchgängen'."

لِّتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا

Yusuf Ali

"'That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.'"

قال نوح رب إنهم عصوني واتبعوا من لم يزده ماله وولده إلا خسارا

Deutsch

Nuh sagte: "Mein Herr, sie haben sich mir widersetzt und sind jemandem gefolgt, dem sein Besitz und seine Kinder nur den Verlust mehren.

قَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِي وَاتَّبَعُوا مَن لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلَّا خَسَارًا

Yusuf Ali

Noah said: "O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no increase but only Loss.

Arabic

ومكروا مكرا كبارا

Deutsch

Und sie haben ungeheure Ränke geschmiedet.

Arabic, with marks

وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا

Yusuf Ali

"And they have devised a tremendous Plot.

Arabic

وقالوا لا تذرن آلهتكم ولا تذرن ودا ولا سواعا ولا يغوث ويعوق ونسرا

Deutsch

Und sie haben gesagt: .Verlaßt doch nicht eure Götter; verlaßt doch nicht Wadd, noch Suwa", noch Yagut,Ya'uq und Nasr.'

وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا

Yusuf Ali

"And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr'; -

Arabic

وقد أضلوا كثيرا ۖ ولا تزد الظالمين إلا ضلالا

Deutsch

Sie haben ja viele in die Irre geführt. So lasse die Ungerechten nur noch tiefer in die Irre gehen."

Arabic, with marks

وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا كَثِيرًا ۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَالًا

Yusuf Ali

"They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong - doers but in straying (from their mark)."

Arabic

مما خطيئاتهم أغرقوا فأدخلوا نارا فلم يجدوا لهم من دون الله أنصارا

Deutsch

Wegen ihrer Verfehlungen wurden sie ertränkt und dann in ein (Höllen)feuer hineingebracht. Und da fanden sie für sich außer Allah keine Helfer.

مِّمَّا خَطِيئَاتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُوا فَأُدْخِلُوا نَارًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنصَارًا

Yusuf Ali

Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found - in lieu of Allah - none to help them.

وقال نوح رب لا تذر على الأرض من الكافرين ديارا

Deutsch

Und Nuh sagte: "Mein Herr, lasse auf der Erde von den Ungläubigen nicht einen einzigen Bewohner.

Arabic, with marks

وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا

Yusuf Ali

And Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth!

إنك إن تذرهم يضلوا عبادك ولا يلدوا إلا فاجرا كفارا

Deutsch

Denn, gewiß, wenn Du sie (leben) läßt, führen sie Deine Diener in die Irre und zeugen nur Sittenlose und sehr beharrliche Ungläubige.

إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا

Yusuf Ali

"For, if Thou dost leave (any of) them, they will but mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones.

Arabic

رب اغفر لي ولوالدي ولمن دخل بيتي مؤمنا وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات ولا تزد الظالمين إلا تبارا

Deutsch

Mein Herr, vergib mir und meinen Eltern und demjenigen, der als Gläubiger mein Haus betritt, und den gläubigen Männern und den gläubigen Frauen. Und stürze die Ungerechten nur noch tiefer ins Verderben."

رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا

Yusuf Ali

"O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house in Faith, and (all) believing men and believing women: and to the wrong - doers grant Thou no increase but in perdition!"
