Arabic
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم إنا أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه أن أنذر قومك من قبل أن يأتيهم عذاب أليم
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় আমি নূহকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম তার কওমের কাছে (এ কথা বলে), ‘তোমার কওমকে সতর্ক কর, তাদের নিকট যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব আসার পূর্বে’।
Saheeh International
Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment."
Arabic
قال يا قوم إني لكم نذير مبين
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সে বলল, ‘হে আমার কওম! নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাদের জন্য এক স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী-
Saheeh International
He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner,

أن اعبدوا الله واتقوه وأطيعون
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত কর, তাঁকে ভয় কর এবং আমার আনুগত্য কর’।
Saheeh International
[Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me.
Arabic
يغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم إلى أجل مسمى ۚ إن أجل الله إذا جاء لا يؤخر ۖ لو كنتم تعلمون
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘তিনি তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন এবং তোমাদেরকে নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দেবেন; আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সময় আসলে কিছুতেই তা বিলম্বিত করা হয় না, যদি তোমরা জানতে’!
Saheeh International
Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.' "
Arabic
قال رب إني دعوت قومي ليلا ونهارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সে বলল, ‘হে আমার রব! আমি তো আমার কওমকে রাত-দিন আহবান করেছি।
Saheeh International
He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day.
Arabic
فلم يزدهم دعائي إلا فرارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘অতঃপর আমার আহবান কেবল তাদের পলায়নই বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে’।
Saheeh International
But my invitation increased them not except in flight.
Arabic
وإني كلما دعوتهم لتغفر لهم جعلوا أصابعهم في آذانهم واستغشوا ثيابهم وأصروا واستكبروا استكبارا

‘আর যখনই আমি তাদেরকে আহবান করেছি ‘যেন আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেন’, তারা নিজদের কানে আঙ্গুল ঢুকিয়ে দিয়েছে, নিজদেরকে পোশাকে আবৃত করেছে, (অবাধ্যতায়) অনড় থেকেছে এবং দম্ভভরে ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করেছে’।
Saheeh International
And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance.
Arabic
ثم إني دعوتهم جهارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘তারপর আমি তাদেরকে প্রকাশ্যে আহবান করেছি’।
Saheeh International
Then I invited them publicly.
Arabic
ثم إني أعلنت لهم وأسررت لهم إسرارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতঃপর তাদেরকে আমি প্রকাশ্যে এবং অতি গোপনেও আহবান করেছি।
Saheeh International
Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly
Arabic
فقلت استغفروا ربكم إنه كان غفارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর বলেছি, ‘তোমাদের রবের কাছে ক্ষমা চাও; নিশ্চয় তিনি পরম ক্ষমাশীল’।
Saheeh International
And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.
Arabic
يرسل السماء عليكم مدرارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘তিনি তোমাদের উপর মুষলধারে বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করবেন,
Saheeh International
He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers
What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur
Arabic
وقد خلقكم أطوارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘অথচ তিনি তোমাদেরকে নানা স্তরে সৃষ্টি করেছেন’।
Saheeh International
While He has created you in stages?
Arabic
ألم تروا كيف خلق الله سبع سماوات طباقا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘তোমরা কি লক্ষ্য কর না যে, কীভাবে স্তরে স্তরে সপ্তাকাশ সৃষ্টি করেছেন’?
Saheeh International
Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers
Arabic
وجعل القمر فيهن نورا وجعل الشمس سراجا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর এগুলোর মধ্যে চাঁদকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন আলো আর সূর্যকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন প্রদীপরূপে’।
Saheeh International
And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp?
Arabic
والله أنبتكم من الأرض نباتا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘আর তোমাদেরকে উদগত করেছেন মাটি থেকে’।
Saheeh International
And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth.
Arabic
ثم يعيدكم فيها ويخرجكم إخراجا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘তারপর তিনি তোমাদেরকে তাতে ফিরিয়ে নেবেন এবং নিশ্চিতভাবে তোমাদেরকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন’।
Saheeh International
Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction.
Arabic
والله جعل لكم الأرض بساطا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘আর পৃথিবীকে তোমাদের জন্য বিস্তৃত করেছেন,
Saheeh International
And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse
Arabic
لتسلكوا منها سبلا فجاجا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যেন তোমরা সেখানে প্রশস্ত পথে চলতে পার’।
Saheeh International
That you may follow therein roads of passage.' "
Arabic
قال نوح رب إنهم عصوني واتبعوا من لم يزده ماله وولده إلا خسارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নূহ বলল, ‘হে আমার রব! তারা আমার অবাধ্য হয়েছে এবং এমন একজনের অনুসরণ করেছে যার ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি কেবল তার ক্ষতিই বাড়িয়ে দেয়’।
Saheeh International
Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.
Arabic
ومكروا مكرا كبارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘আর তারা ভয়ানক ষড়যন্ত্র করেছে’।
Saheeh International
And they conspired an immense conspiracy.
Arabic
وقالوا لا تذرن آلهتكم ولا تذرن ودا ولا سواعا ولا يغوث ويعوق ونسرا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তারা বলে, ‘তোমরা তোমাদের উপাস্যদের বর্জন করো না; বর্জন করো না ওয়াদ, সুওয়া‘, ইয়াগূছ, ইয়া‘ঊক ও নাসরকে’।
Saheeh International
And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.
Arabic
وقد أضلوا كثيرا ۖ ولا تزد الظالمين إلا ضلالا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘বস্তুত তারা অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে, আর (হে ) আপনি যালিমদেরকে ভ্রষ্টতা ছাড়া আর কিছুই বাড়াবেন না’।
Saheeh International
And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error."

مما خطيئاتهم أغرقوا فأدخلوا نارا فلم يجدوا لهم من دون الله أنصارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদেরকে ডুবিয়ে দেয়া হল অতঃপর আগুনে প্রবেশ করানো হল; তারা নিজদের সাহায্যকারী হিসেবে ছাড়া আর কাউকে পায়নি।
Saheeh International
Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers.
Arabic
وقال نوح رب لا تذر على الأرض من الكافرين ديارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর নূহ বলল, ‘হে আমার রব! যমীনের উপর কোন কাফিরকে অবশিষ্ট রাখবেন না’।
Saheeh International
And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant.
Arabic
إنك إن تذرهم يضلوا عبادك ولا يلدوا إلا فاجرا كفارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘আপনি যদি তাদেরকে অবশিষ্ট রাখেন তবে তারা আপনার বান্দাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করবে এবং দুরাচারী ও ছাড়া অন্য কারো জন্ম দেবে না’।
Saheeh International
Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] .
Arabic
رب اغفر لي ولوالدي ولمن دخل بيتي مؤمنا وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات ولا تزد الظالمين إلا تبارا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
‘হে আমার রব! আমাকে, আমার পিতা-মাতাকে, যে আমার ঘরে হয়ে প্রবেশ করবে তাকে এবং নারী-পুরুষকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং ধ্বংস ছাড়া আপনি যালিমদের আর কিছুই বাড়িয়ে দেবেন না।’
Saheeh International
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."
