براءة من الله ورسوله إلى الذين عاهدتم من المشركين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
ইহা সম্পর্কচ্ছেদ ও তাঁহার রাসূলের পক্ষ হইতে সেই সমস্ত মুশরিকদের সঙ্গে যাহাদের সঙ্গে তোমরা পারস্পরিক চুক্তিতে আবদ্ধ হইয়াছিলে।
Saheeh International
[This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists.
Arabic
فسيحوا في الأرض أربعة أشهر واعلموا أنكم غير معجزي الله ۙ وأن الله مخزي الكافرين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
অতঃপর তোমরা দেশে চারি মাসকাল পরিভ্রমণ কর ও জানিয়া রাখ, তোমরা কে হীনবল করিতে পারিবে না এবং নিশ্চয়ই কাফিরদের লাঞ্ছিত করিয়া থাকেন।
Saheeh International
So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.

وأذان من الله ورسوله إلى الناس يوم الحج الأكبر أن الله بريء من المشركين ۙ ورسوله ۚ فإن تبتم فهو خير لكم ۖ وإن توليتم فاعلموا أنكم غير معجزي الله ۗ وبشر الذين كفروا بعذاب أليم

মহান হজ্জের দিবসে ও তাঁহার রাসূলের পক্ষ হইতে মানুষের প্রতি ইহা এক ঘোষণা যে, নিশ্চয়ই মুশরিকদের সম্পর্কে দায়মুক্ত এবং তাঁহার রাসূলও। তোমরা যদি তওবা কর তবে তাহা তোমাদের জন্য কল্যাণকর। আর তোমরা যদি মুখ ফিরাও তবে জানিয়া রাখ, তোমরা কে হীনবল করিতে পারিবে না এবং কাফিরদেরকে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তির সংবাদ দাও,
Saheeh International
And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allah. And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.

إلا الذين عاهدتم من المشركين ثم لم ينقصوكم شيئا ولم يظاهروا عليكم أحدا فأتموا إليهم عهدهم إلى مدتهم ۚ إن الله يحب المتقين

তবে মুশরিকদের মধ্যে যাহাদের সঙ্গে তোমরা চুক্তিতে আবদ্ধ ও পরে যাহারা তোমাদের চুক্তি রক্ষায় কোন ত্রুটি করে নাই এবং তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে কাহাকেও সাহায্য করে নাই, তাহাদের সঙ্গে নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত চুক্তি পূর্ণ করিবে, নিশ্চয়ই মুত্তাকীদেরকে পছন্দকরেন।
Saheeh International
Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].

فإذا انسلخ الأشهر الحرم فاقتلوا المشركين حيث وجدتموهم وخذوهم واحصروهم واقعدوا لهم كل مرصد ۚ فإن تابوا وأقاموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فخلوا سبيلهم ۚ إن الله غفور رحيم

অতঃপর নিষিদ্ধ মাসসমূহ অতিবাহিত হইলে মুশরিকদেরকে যেখানে পাইবে হত্যা করিবে, তাহাদেরকে বন্দী করিবে, অবরোধ করিবে এবং প্রত্যেক ঘাঁটিতে তাহাদের জন্য ওঁৎ পাতিয়া থাকিবে। কিন্তু যদি তাহারা তওবা করে, কায়েম করে ও যাকাত দেয় তবে তাহাদের পথ ছাড়িয়া দিবে; নিশ্চয়ই অতিশয় ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Arabic
وإن أحد من المشركين استجارك فأجره حتى يسمع كلام الله ثم أبلغه مأمنه ۚ ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يعلمون

মুশরিকদের মধ্যে কেহ তোমার কাছে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করিলে তুমি তাহাকে আশ্রয় দিবে যাহাতে সে র বাণী শুনিতে পায় ; অতঃপর তাহাকে তাহার নিরাপদ স্থানে পৌঁছাইয়া দিবে; কারণ তাহারা অজ্ঞ লোক।
Saheeh International
And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.

كيف يكون للمشركين عهد عند الله وعند رسوله إلا الذين عاهدتم عند المسجد الحرام ۖ فما استقاموا لكم فاستقيموا لهم ۚ إن الله يحب المتقين

ও তাঁহার রাসূলের নিকট মুশরিকদের চুক্তি কি করিয়া বলবৎ থাকিবে ? তবে যাহাদের সঙ্গে মসজিদুল হারামের সন্নিকটে তোমরা পারস্পরিক চুক্তিতে আবদ্ধ হইয়াছিলে, যাবৎ তাহারা তোমাদের চুক্তিতে স্থির থাকিবে তোমরাও তাহাদের চুক্তিতে স্থির থাকিবে; নিশ্চয়ই মুত্তাকীদেরকে পছন্দকরেন।
Saheeh International
How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al - Masjid al - Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].

كيف وإن يظهروا عليكم لا يرقبوا فيكم إلا ولا ذمة ۚ يرضونكم بأفواههم وتأبى قلوبهم وأكثرهم فاسقون

কেমন করিয়া থাকিবে ? তাহারা যদি তোমাদের উপর জয়ী হয়, তবে তাহারা তোমাদের আত্মীয়তার ও অঙ্গীকারের কোন মর্যাদা দিবে না; তাহারা মুখে তোমাদেরকে সন্তুষ্ট রাখে; কিন্তু তাহাদের হৃদয় উহা অস্বীকার করে; তাহাদের অধিকাংশ সত্যত্যাগী।
Saheeh International
How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient.
Arabic
اشتروا بآيات الله ثمنا قليلا فصدوا عن سبيله ۚ إنهم ساء ما كانوا يعملون

তাহারা র আয়াতসমূহ তুচ্ছ মূল্যে বিক্রয় করে এবং তাহারা লোকদেরকে তাঁহার পথ হইতে নিবৃত্ত করে; নিশ্চয়ই তাহারা যাহা করিয়া থাকে তাহা অতি নিকৃষ্ট!
Saheeh International
They have exchanged the signs of Allah for a small price and averted [people] from His way. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
Arabic
لا يرقبون في مؤمن إلا ولا ذمة ۚ وأولئك هم المعتدون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তাহারা কোন মু’মিনের সঙ্গে আত্মীয়তার ও অঙ্গীকারের মর্যাদা রক্ষা করে না, তাহারাই সীমালংঘনকারী।
Saheeh International
They do not observe toward a believer any pact of kinship or covenant of protection. And it is they who are the transgressors.
Arabic
فإن تابوا وأقاموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فإخوانكم في الدين ۗ ونفصل الآيات لقوم يعلمون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
অতঃপর তাহারা যদি তওবা করে, কায়েম করে ও যাকাত দেয় তবে তাহারা তোমাদের দীনী ভাই ; জ্ঞানী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য আমি নিদর্শন স্পষ্টরূপে বিবৃত করি।
Saheeh International
But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then they are your brothers in religion; and We detail the verses for a people who know.

وإن نكثوا أيمانهم من بعد عهدهم وطعنوا في دينكم فقاتلوا أئمة الكفر ۙ إنهم لا أيمان لهم لعلهم ينتهون

তাহাদের চুক্তির পর তাহারা যদি তাহাদের প্রতিশ্রুতি ভঙ্গ করে এবং তোমাদের দীন সম্বন্ধে বিদ্রূপ করে তবে কাফিরদের প্রধানদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ কর; ইহারা এমন লোক যাহাদের কোন প্রতিশ্রুতি রহিল না; যেন তাহারা নিবৃত্ত হয়।
Saheeh International
And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease.
Arabic
ألا تقاتلون قوما نكثوا أيمانهم وهموا بإخراج الرسول وهم بدءوكم أول مرة ۚ أتخشونهم ۚ فالله أحق أن تخشوه إن كنتم مؤمنين

তোমরা কি সেই সম্প্রদায়ের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করিবে না, যাহারা নিজেদের প্রতিশ্রুতি ভঙ্গ করিয়াছে ও রাসূলকে বহিষ্কারের জন্য সংকল্প করিয়াছে? উহারাই প্রথম তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করিয়াছে। তোমরা কি তাহাদেরকে ভয় কর ? কে ভয় করাই তোমাদের পক্ষে অধিক সমীচীন, যদি তোমরা হও।
Saheeh International
Would you not fight a people who broke their oaths and determined to expel the Messenger, and they had begun [the attack upon] you the first time? Do you fear them? But Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are [truly] believers.
Arabic
قاتلوهم يعذبهم الله بأيديكم ويخزهم وينصركم عليهم ويشف صدور قوم مؤمنين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তোমরা তাহাদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করিবে। তোমাদের হাতে উহাদেরকে শাস্তি দিবেন, উহাদেরকে লাঞ্ছিত করিবেন, উহাদের উপর তোমাদেরকে বিজয়ী করিবেন ও মু’মিনদের চিত্ত প্রশান্ত করিবেন,
Saheeh International
Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people
Arabic
ويذهب غيظ قلوبهم ۗ ويتوب الله على من يشاء ۗ والله عليم حكيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং তিনি উহাদের অন্তরের ক্ষোভ দূর করিবেন। যাহাকে ইচ্ছা তাহার প্রতি ক্ষমাপরায়ণ হন, সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
And remove the fury in the believers' hearts. And Allah turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

أم حسبتم أن تتركوا ولما يعلم الله الذين جاهدوا منكم ولم يتخذوا من دون الله ولا رسوله ولا المؤمنين وليجة ۚ والله خبير بما تعملون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তোমরা কি মনে কর যে, তোমাদেরকে এমনি ছাড়িয়া দেওয়া হইবে যখন পর্যন্ত না প্রকাশ করেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কাহারা মুজাহিদ এবং কাহারা , তাঁহার রাসূল ও মু’মিনগণ ব্যতীত অন্য কাহাকেও অন্তরঙ্গ বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করে নাই ? তোমরা যাহা কর, সে সম্বন্ধে সবিশেষ অবহিত।
Saheeh International
Do you think that you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah, His Messenger and the believers as intimates? And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.
Arabic
ما كان للمشركين أن يعمروا مساجد الله شاهدين على أنفسهم بالكفر ۚ أولئك حبطت أعمالهم وفي النار هم خالدون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
মুশরিকরা যখন নিজেরাই নিজেদের স্বীকার করে তখন তাহারা র মসজিদের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করিবে - এমন হইতে পারে না। উহারা এমন, যাহাদের সমস্ত কর্ম ব্যর্থ হইয়াছে এবং উহারা দোজখেই স্থায়িভাবে অবস্থান করিবে।
Saheeh International
It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally.
Arabic
إنما يعمر مساجد الله من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة ولم يخش إلا الله ۖ فعسى أولئك أن يكونوا من المهتدين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তাহারাই তো র মসজিদের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করিবে, যাহারা ঈমান আনে ও আখিরাতে এবং কায়েম করে, যাকাত দেয় এবং ব্যতীত অন্য কাহাকেও ভয় করে না। অতএব আশা করা যায়, তাহারা হইবে সৎপথপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
Saheeh International
The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.
Arabic
۞ أجعلتم سقاية الحاج وعمارة المسجد الحرام كمن آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وجاهد في سبيل الله ۚ لا يستوون عند الله ۗ والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
হাজীদের জন্য পানি সরবরাহ এবং মসজিদুল হারামের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করাকে তোমরা কি তাহাদের পুণ্যের সমজ্ঞান কর, যাহারা ও আখিরাতে ঈমান আনে এবং র পথে জিহাদ করে ? র নিকট উহারা সমতুল্য নয়। সম্প্রদায়কে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
Saheeh International
Have you made the providing of water for the pilgrim and the maintenance of al - Masjid al - Haram equal to [the deeds of] one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the cause of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

الذين آمنوا وهاجروا وجاهدوا في سبيل الله بأموالهم وأنفسهم أعظم درجة عند الله ۚ وأولئك هم الفائزون

যাহারা ঈমান আনে, হিজরত করে এবং নিজেদের সম্পদ ও নিজেদের জীবন দ্বারা র পথে জিহাদ করে তাহারা র নিকট মর্যাদায় শ্রেষ্ঠ, আর তাহারাই ।
Saheeh International
The ones who have believed, emigrated and striven in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives are greater in rank in the sight of Allah. And it is those who are the attainers [of success].

يبشرهم ربهم برحمة منه ورضوان وجنات لهم فيها نعيم مقيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহাদের প্রতিপালক উহাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দিতেছেন স্বীয় দয়া ও সন্তোষের এবং জান্নাতের, যেখানে আছে তাহাদের জন্য স্থায়ী সুখ - শান্তি।
Saheeh International
Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure.

خالدين فيها أبدا ۚ إن الله عنده أجر عظيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
সেখানে তাহারা চিরস্থায়ী হইবে। নিশ্চয়ই র নিকট আছে মহাপুরস্কার।
Saheeh International
[They will be] abiding therein forever. Indeed, Allah has with Him a great reward.

يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا آباءكم وإخوانكم أولياء إن استحبوا الكفر على الإيمان ۚ ومن يتولهم منكم فأولئك هم الظالمون

হে মু’মিনগণ! তোমাদের পিতা ও ভ্রাতা যদি ঈমানের মুকাবিলায় কুফরীকে শ্রেয় জ্ঞান করে, তবে উহাদেরকে অন্তরঙ্গরূপে গ্রহণ করিও না। তোমাদের মধ্যে যাহারা উহাদেরকে অন্তরঙ্গরূপে গ্রহণ করে, তাহারাই ।
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as allies if they have preferred disbelief over belief. And whoever does so among you - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
Arabic
قل إن كان آباؤكم وأبناؤكم وإخوانكم وأزواجكم وعشيرتكم وأموال اقترفتموها وتجارة تخشون كسادها ومساكن ترضونها أحب إليكم من الله ورسوله وجهاد في سبيله فتربصوا حتى يأتي الله بأمره ۗ والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين

বল, ‘তোমাদের নিকট যদি , তাঁহার রাসূল এবং র পথে জিহাদ করা অপেক্ষা অধিক প্রিয় হয় তোমাদের পিতা, তোমাদের সন্তান, তোমাদের ভাই, তোমাদের স্ত্রী, তোমাদের স্বগোষ্ঠী, তোমাদের অর্জিত সম্পদ, তোমাদের ব্যবসা - বাণিজ্য - যাহার মন্দা পড়ার আশংকা কর এবং তোমাদের বাসস্থান - যাহা তোমরা ভালবাস, তবে অপেক্ষা কর র নির্দেশ আসা পর্যন্ত।’ সত্যত্যাগী সম্প্রদায়কে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
Saheeh International
Say, [O Muhammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people."

لقد نصركم الله في مواطن كثيرة ۙ ويوم حنين ۙ إذ أعجبتكم كثرتكم فلم تغن عنكم شيئا وضاقت عليكم الأرض بما رحبت ثم وليتم مدبرين

তোমাদেরকে তো সাহায্য করিয়াছেন বহু ক্ষেত্রে এবং হুনায়নের যুদ্ধের দিনে যখন তোমাদেরকে উৎফুল্ল করিয়াছিল তোমাদের সংখ্যাধিক্য; কিন্তু উহা তোমাদের কোন কাজে আসে নাই এবং বিস্তৃত হওয়া সত্ত্বেও পৃথিবী তোমাদের জন্য সংকুচিত হইয়াছিল, পরে তোমরা পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করিয়া পলায়ন করিয়াছিলে।
Saheeh International
Allah has already given you victory in many regions and [even] on the day of Hunayn, when your great number pleased you, but it did not avail you at all, and the earth was confining for you with its vastness; then you turned back, fleeing.
Arabic
ثم أنزل الله سكينته على رسوله وعلى المؤمنين وأنزل جنودا لم تروها وعذب الذين كفروا ۚ وذلك جزاء الكافرين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
অতঃপর তাঁহার নিকট হইতে তাঁহার রাসূল ও মু’মিনদের উপর প্রশান্তি বর্ষণ করেন এবং এমন এক সৈন্যবাহিনী অবতীর্ণ করেন যাহা তোমরা দেখিতে পাও নাই এবং তিনি কাফিরদেরকে শাস্তি প্রদান করেন; ইহাই কাফিরদের কর্মফল।
Saheeh International
Then Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers and sent down soldiers angels whom you did not see and punished those who disbelieved. And that is the recompense of the disbelievers.

ثم يتوب الله من بعد ذلك على من يشاء ۗ والله غفور رحيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
ইহার পরও যাহার প্রতি ইচ্ছা ক্ষমাপরায়ণ হইবেন; অতি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
Then Allah will accept repentance after that for whom He wills; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Arabic
يا أيها الذين آمنوا إنما المشركون نجس فلا يقربوا المسجد الحرام بعد عامهم هذا ۚ وإن خفتم عيلة فسوف يغنيكم الله من فضله إن شاء ۚ إن الله عليم حكيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
হে মু’মিনগণ! মুশরিকরা তো অপবিত্র; সুতরাং এই বৎসরের পর তাহারা যেন মসজিদুল হারামের নিকট না আসে। যদি তোমরা দারিদ্র্যের আশঙ্কা কর তবে ইচ্ছা করিলে তাঁহার নিজ করুণায় তোমাদেরকে অভাবমুক্ত করিবেন। নিশ্চয়ই সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al - Masjid al - Haram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise.

قاتلوا الذين لا يؤمنون بالله ولا باليوم الآخر ولا يحرمون ما حرم الله ورسوله ولا يدينون دين الحق من الذين أوتوا الكتاب حتى يعطوا الجزية عن يد وهم صاغرون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
যাহাদের প্রতি কিতাব অবতীর্ণ হইয়াছে তাহাদের মধ্যে যাহারা র প্রতি ঈমান আনে না, শেষদিনেও নয় এবং ও তাঁহার রাসূল যাহা হারাম করিয়াছেন তাহা হারাম গণ্য করে না এবং সত্য দীন অনুসরণ করে না, তাহাদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করিবে, যে পর্যন্ত না তাহারা নত হইয়া স্বহস্তে জিযিয়া দেয়।
Saheeh International
Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

وقالت اليهود عزير ابن الله وقالت النصارى المسيح ابن الله ۖ ذلك قولهم بأفواههم ۖ يضاهئون قول الذين كفروا من قبل ۚ قاتلهم الله ۚ أنى يؤفكون

ইয়াহূদীরা বলে, ‘উযায়র র পুত্র’ এবং খ্রিস্টানরা বলে, ‘মসীহ্ র পুত্র।’ উহা তাহাদের মুখের কথা। পূর্বে যাহারা করিয়াছিল উহারা তাহাদের মত কথা বলে। উহাদেরকে ধ্বংস করুন। আর কোন্ দিকে উহাদেরকে ফিরাইয়া দেওয়া হইয়াছে!
Saheeh International
The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?

اتخذوا أحبارهم ورهبانهم أربابا من دون الله والمسيح ابن مريم وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا إلها واحدا ۖ لا إله إلا هو ۚ سبحانه عما يشركون

তাহারা ব্যতীত তাহাদের পণ্ডিতগণকে ও সংসার - বিরাগিগণকে তাহাদের প্রভুরূপে গ্রহণ করিয়াছে এবং মারইয়াম - তনয় মসীহ্কেও। কিন্তু উহারা এক ইলাহের ‘ইবাদত করিবার জন্যই আদিষ্ট হইয়াছিল। তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ নাই। তাহারা যাহাকে শরীক করে তাহা হইতে তিনি কত পবিত্র!
Saheeh International
They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.

يريدون أن يطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم ويأبى الله إلا أن يتم نوره ولو كره الكافرون

তাহারা তাহাদের মুখের ফুৎকারে র জ্যোতি নির্বাপিত করিতে চায়। কাফিররা অপ্রীতিকর মনে করিলেও তাঁহার জ্যোতির পূর্ণ উদ্ভাসন ব্যতীত অন্য কিছু চান না।
Saheeh International
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.

هو الذي أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون

মুশরিকরা অপ্রীতিকর মনে করিলেও অপর সমস্ত দীনের উপর জয়যুক্ত করিবার জন্য তিনিই পথনির্দেশ ও সত্য দীনসহ তাঁহার রাসূল প্রেরণ করিয়াছেন।
Saheeh International
It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it.

۞ يا أيها الذين آمنوا إن كثيرا من الأحبار والرهبان ليأكلون أموال الناس بالباطل ويصدون عن سبيل الله ۗ والذين يكنزون الذهب والفضة ولا ينفقونها في سبيل الله فبشرهم بعذاب أليم

হে মু’মিনগণ! পণ্ডিত এবং সংসার বিরাগীদের মধ্যে অনেকেই লোকের ধন - সম্পদ অন্যায়ভাবে ভোগ করিয়া থাকে এবং লোককে র পথ হইতে নিবৃত্ত করে। আর যাহারা স্বর্ণ ও রৌপ্য পুঞ্জীভূত করে এবং উহা র পথে ব্যয় করে না উহাদেরকে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তির সংবাদ দাও।
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment.

يوم يحمى عليها في نار جهنم فتكوى بها جباههم وجنوبهم وظهورهم ۖ هذا ما كنزتم لأنفسكم فذوقوا ما كنتم تكنزون

যেদিন জাহান্নামের অগ্নিতে উহা উত্তপ্ত করা হইবে এবং উহা দ্বারা তাহাদের ললাট, পার্শ্বদেশ ও পৃষ্ঠদেশে দাগ দেওয়া হইবে সেদিন বলা হইবে, ‘ইহাই উহা যাহা তোমরা নিজেদের জন্য পুঞ্জীভূত করিতে। সুতরাং তোমরা যাহা পুঞ্জীভূত করিয়াছিলে তাহা আস্বাদন কর।’
Saheeh International
The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], "This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard."

إن عدة الشهور عند الله اثنا عشر شهرا في كتاب الله يوم خلق السماوات والأرض منها أربعة حرم ۚ ذلك الدين القيم ۚ فلا تظلموا فيهن أنفسكم ۚ وقاتلوا المشركين كافة كما يقاتلونكم كافة ۚ واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين

নিশ্চয়ই আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টির দিন হইতেই র বিধানে র নিকট মাস গণনায় মাস বারটি; তন্মধ্যে চারটি নিষিদ্ধ মাস, ইহাই সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত বিধান। সুতরাং ইহার মধ্যে তোমরা নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করিও না এবং তোমরা মুশরিকদের সঙ্গে সর্বাত্মকভাবে যুদ্ধ করিবে, যেমন তাহারা তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে সর্বাত্মকভাবে যুদ্ধ করিয়া থাকে। এবং জানিয়া রাখ, তো মুত্তাকীদের সঙ্গে আছেন।
Saheeh International
Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous [who fear Him].

إنما النسيء زيادة في الكفر ۖ يضل به الذين كفروا يحلونه عاما ويحرمونه عاما ليواطئوا عدة ما حرم الله فيحلوا ما حرم الله ۚ زين لهم سوء أعمالهم ۗ والله لا يهدي القوم الكافرين

এই যে মাসকে পিছাইয়া দেওয়া কেবল বৃদ্ধি করা, যাহা দ্বারা কাফিরদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করা হয়। তাহারা উহাকে কোন বৎসর বৈধ করে এবং কোন বৎসর অবৈধ করে যাহাতে তাহারা যেইগুলিকে নিষিদ্ধ করিয়াছেন, সেইগুলির গণনা পূর্ণ করিতে পারে ; অনন্তর যাহা হারাম করিয়াছেন তাহা হালাল করিতে পারে। তাহাদের মন্দ কাজগুলি তাহাদের জন্য শোভনীয় করা হইয়াছে। সম্প্রদায়কে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
Saheeh International
Indeed, the postponing [of restriction within sacred months] is an increase in disbelief by which those who have disbelieved are led [further] astray. They make it lawful one year and unlawful another year to correspond to the number made unlawful by Allah and [thus] make lawful what Allah has made unlawful. Made pleasing to them is the evil of their deeds; and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.

يا أيها الذين آمنوا ما لكم إذا قيل لكم انفروا في سبيل الله اثاقلتم إلى الأرض ۚ أرضيتم بالحياة الدنيا من الآخرة ۚ فما متاع الحياة الدنيا في الآخرة إلا قليل

হে মু’মিনগণ! তোমাদের কী হইল যে, তোমাদেরকে যখন র পথে অভিযানে বাহির হইতে বলা হয় তখন তোমরা ভারাক্রান্ত হইয়া ভূতলে ঝুঁকিয়া পড় ? তোমরা কি আখিরাতের পরিবর্তে পার্থিব জীবনে পরিতুষ্ট হইয়াছ ? আখিরাতের তুলনায় পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগের উপকরণ তো অকিঞ্চিৎকর!
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little.

إلا تنفروا يعذبكم عذابا أليما ويستبدل قوما غيركم ولا تضروه شيئا ۗ والله على كل شيء قدير

যদি তোমরা অভিযানে বাহির না হও, তবে তিনি তোমাদেরকে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি দিবেন এবং অপর জাতিকে তোমাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত করিবেন এবং তোমরা তাঁহার কোনই ক্ষতি করিতে পারিবে না। সর্ববিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান।
Saheeh International
If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent.

إلا تنصروه فقد نصره الله إذ أخرجه الذين كفروا ثاني اثنين إذ هما في الغار إذ يقول لصاحبه لا تحزن إن الله معنا ۖ فأنزل الله سكينته عليه وأيده بجنود لم تروها وجعل كلمة الذين كفروا السفلى ۗ وكلمة الله هي العليا ۗ والله عزيز حكيم

যদি তোমরা তাহাকে সাহায্য না কর, তবে তো তাহাকে সাহায্য করিয়াছিলেন যখন কাফিররা তাহাকে বহিষ্কার করিয়াছিল এবং সে ছিল দুইজনের দ্বিতীয় জন, যখন তাহারা উভয়ে গুহার মধ্যে ছিল ; সে তখন তাহার সঙ্গীকে বলিয়াছিল, ‘বিষন্ন হইও না, তো আমাদের সঙ্গে আছেন।’ অতঃপর তাঁহার উপর তাঁহার প্রশান্তি বর্ষণ করেন এবং তাহাকে শক্তিশালী করেন এমন এক সৈন্যবাহিনী দ্বারা যাহা তোমরা দেখ নাই; এবং তিনি কাফিরদের কথা হেয় করেন। র কথাই সর্বোপরি এবং পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
If you do not aid the Prophet - Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us." And Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah - that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

انفروا خفافا وثقالا وجاهدوا بأموالكم وأنفسكم في سبيل الله ۚ ذلكم خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون

অভিযানে বাহির হইয়া পড়, হালকা অবস্থায় হউক অথবা ভারি অবস্থায়, এবং সংগ্রাম কর র পথে তোমাদের সম্পদ ও জীবন দ্বারা। উহাই তোমাদের জন্য শ্রেয়, যদি তোমরা জানিতে !
Saheeh International
Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew.

لو كان عرضا قريبا وسفرا قاصدا لاتبعوك ولكن بعدت عليهم الشقة ۚ وسيحلفون بالله لو استطعنا لخرجنا معكم يهلكون أنفسهم والله يعلم إنهم لكاذبون

আশু সম্পদ লাভের সম্ভাবনা থাকিলে ও সফর সহজ হইলে উহারা নিশ্চয়ই তোমার অনুসরণ করিত; কিন্তু উহাদের নিকট যাত্রাপথ সুদীর্ঘ মনে হইল। উহারা অচিরেই র নামে শপথ করিয়া বলিবে, ‘পারিলে আমরা নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের সঙ্গে বাহির হইতাম।’ উহারা নিজেদেরকেই ধ্বংস করে। জানেন উহারা অবশ্যই মিথ্যাচারী।
Saheeh International
Had it been an easy gain and a moderate trip, the hypocrites would have followed you, but distant to them was the journey. And they will swear by Allah, "If we were able, we would have gone forth with you," destroying themselves [through false oaths], and Allah knows that indeed they are liars.

عفا الله عنك لم أذنت لهم حتى يتبين لك الذين صدقوا وتعلم الكاذبين

তোমাকে ক্ষমা করিয়াছেন। কাহারা সত্যবাদী তাহা তোমার নিকট স্পষ্ট না হওয়া পর্যন্ত এবং কাহারা মিথ্যাবাদী তাহা না পর্যন্ত তুমি কেন উহাদেরকে অব্যাহতি দিলে ?
Saheeh International
May Allah pardon you, [O Muhammad]; why did you give them permission [to remain behind]? [You should not have] until it was evident to you who were truthful and you knew [who were] the liars.
Arabic
لا يستأذنك الذين يؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر أن يجاهدوا بأموالهم وأنفسهم ۗ والله عليم بالمتقين

যাহারা আল্লাহে ও শেষ দিবসে ঈমান আনে তাহারা নিজ সম্পদ ও জীবন দ্বারা জিহাদে অব্যাহতি পাইবার প্রার্থনা তোমার নিকট করে না। মুত্তাকীদের সম্বন্ধে সবিশেষ অবহিত।
Saheeh International
Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day would not ask permission of you to be excused from striving with their wealth and their lives. And Allah is Knowing of those who fear Him.

إنما يستأذنك الذين لا يؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر وارتابت قلوبهم فهم في ريبهم يترددون

তোমার নিকট অব্যাহতি প্রার্থনা করে কেবল উহারাই যাহারা ও শেষ দিবসে ঈমান আনে না এবং যাহাদের চিত্ত সংশয়যুক্ত। উহারা তো আপন সংশয়ে দ্বিধাগ্রস্ত।
Saheeh International
Only those would ask permission of you who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts have doubted, and they, in their doubt, are hesitating.

۞ ولو أرادوا الخروج لأعدوا له عدة ولكن كره الله انبعاثهم فثبطهم وقيل اقعدوا مع القاعدين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহারা বাহির হইতে চাহিলে উহারা নিশ্চয়ই ইহার জন্য প্রস্তুতির ব্যবস্থা করিত, কিন্তু উহাদের অভিযাত্রা র মনঃপূত ছিল না। সুতরাং তিনি উহাদেরকে বিরত রাখেন এবং উহাদেরকে বলা হয়, ‘যাহারা বসিয়া আছে তাহাদের সঙ্গে বসিয়া থাক।’
Saheeh International
And if they had intended to go forth, they would have prepared for it [some] preparation. But Allah disliked their being sent, so He kept them back, and they were told, "Remain [behind] with those who remain."

لو خرجوا فيكم ما زادوكم إلا خبالا ولأوضعوا خلالكم يبغونكم الفتنة وفيكم سماعون لهم ۗ والله عليم بالظالمين

উহারা তোমাদের সঙ্গে বাহির হইলে তোমাদের বিভ্রান্তিই বৃদ্ধি করিত এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে ফিতনা সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যে তোমাদের মধ্যে ছুটাছুটি করিত। তোমাদের মধ্যে উহাদের জন্য কথা শুনিবার লোক আছে। জালিমদের সম্বন্ধে সবিশেষ অবহিত।
Saheeh International
Had they gone forth with you, they would not have increased you except in confusion, and they would have been active among you, seeking [to cause] you fitnah. And among you are avid listeners to them. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.

لقد ابتغوا الفتنة من قبل وقلبوا لك الأمور حتى جاء الحق وظهر أمر الله وهم كارهون

পূর্বেও উহারা ফিত্না সৃষ্টি করিতে চাহিয়াছিল এবং উহারা তোমার বহু কর্মে উলট - পালট করিয়াছিল যতক্ষণ না উহাদের ইচ্ছার বিরুদ্ধে সত্য আসিল এবং র আদেশ বিজয়ী হইল।
Saheeh International
They had already desired dissension before and had upset matters for you until the truth came and the ordinance of Allah appeared, while they were averse.
Arabic
ومنهم من يقول ائذن لي ولا تفتني ۚ ألا في الفتنة سقطوا ۗ وإن جهنم لمحيطة بالكافرين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং উহাদের মধ্যে এমন লোক আছে যে বলে, ‘আমাকে অব্যাহতি দাও এবং আমাকে ফিত্নায় ফেলিও না।’ সাবধান! উহারাই ফিত্নাতে পড়িয়া আছে। জাহান্নাম তো কাফিরদেরকে বেষ্টন করিয়াই আছে।
Saheeh International
And among them is he who says, "Permit me [to remain at home] and do not put me to trial." Unquestionably, into trial they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers.

إن تصبك حسنة تسؤهم ۖ وإن تصبك مصيبة يقولوا قد أخذنا أمرنا من قبل ويتولوا وهم فرحون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তোমার মঙ্গল হইলে তাহা উহাদেরকে পীড়া দেয় এবং তোমার বিপদ ঘটিলে উহারা বলে, ‘আমরা তো পূর্বাহ্ণেই আমাদের ব্যাপারে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করিয়াছিলাম’ এবং উহারা উৎফুল্লচিত্তে সরিয়া পড়ে।
Saheeh International
If good befalls you, it distresses them; but if disaster strikes you, they say, "We took our matter [in hand] before," and turn away while they are rejoicing.
Arabic
قل لن يصيبنا إلا ما كتب الله لنا هو مولانا ۚ وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘আমাদের জন্য যাহা নির্দিষ্ট করিয়াছেন তাহা ব্যতীত আমাদের অন্য কিছু হইবে না; তিনি আমাদের কর্মবিধায়ক এবং র উপরই মু’মিনদের নির্ভর করা উচিত।’
Saheeh International
Say, "Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector." And upon Allah let the believers rely.
Arabic
قل هل تربصون بنا إلا إحدى الحسنيين ۖ ونحن نتربص بكم أن يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده أو بأيدينا ۖ فتربصوا إنا معكم متربصون

বল, ‘তোমরা আমাদের দুইটি মঙ্গলের একটির প্রতীক্ষা করিতেছ এবং আমরা প্রতীক্ষা করিতেছি, তোমাদেরকে শাস্তি দিবেন সরাসরি নিজ পক্ষ হইতে অথবা আমাদের হস্ত দ্বারা। অতএব তোমরা প্রতীক্ষা কর, আমরাও তোমাদের সঙ্গে প্রতীক্ষা করিতেছি।'
Saheeh International
Say, "Do you await for us except one of the two best things while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or at our hands? So wait; indeed we, along with you, are waiting."
Arabic
قل أنفقوا طوعا أو كرها لن يتقبل منكم ۖ إنكم كنتم قوما فاسقين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
বল, ‘তোমরা স্বেচ্ছায় ব্যয় কর অথবা অনিচ্ছায়, তোমাদের নিকট হইতে তাহা কিছুতেই গৃহীত হইবে না ; তোমরা তো সত্যত্যাগী সম্প্রদায়।’
Saheeh International
Say, "Spend willingly or unwillingly; never will it be accepted from you. Indeed, you have been a defiantly disobedient people."

وما منعهم أن تقبل منهم نفقاتهم إلا أنهم كفروا بالله وبرسوله ولا يأتون الصلاة إلا وهم كسالى ولا ينفقون إلا وهم كارهون

উহাদের অর্থসাহায্য গ্রহণ করা নিষেধ করা হইয়াছে এইজন্য যে, উহারা ও তাঁহার রাসূলকে অস্বীকার করে, সালাতে শৈথিল্যের সঙ্গে উপস্থিত হয় এবং অনিচ্ছাকৃতভাবে অর্থ সাহায্য করে।
Saheeh International
And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling.
Arabic
فلا تعجبك أموالهم ولا أولادهم ۚ إنما يريد الله ليعذبهم بها في الحياة الدنيا وتزهق أنفسهم وهم كافرون

সুতরাং উহাদের সম্পদ ও সন্তান - সন্ততি তোমাকে যেন বিমুগ্ধ না করে, তো উহার দ্বারাই উহাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে শাস্তি দিতে চান। উহারা থাকা অবস্থায় উহাদের আত্মা দেহ ত্যাগ করিবে।
Saheeh International
So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.

ويحلفون بالله إنهم لمنكم وما هم منكم ولكنهم قوم يفرقون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহারা র নামে শপথ করে যে, উহারা তোমাদেরই অন্তর্ভুক্ত, কিন্তু উহারা তোমাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত নয়, বস্তুত উহারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাহারা ভয় করিয়া থাকে।
Saheeh International
And they swear by Allah that they are from among you while they are not from among you; but they are a people who are afraid.

لو يجدون ملجأ أو مغارات أو مدخلا لولوا إليه وهم يجمحون

উহারা কোন আশ্রয়স্থল, কোন গিরিগুহা অথবা কোন প্রবেশস্থল পাইলে উহার দিকে পলায়ন করিবে ক্ষিপ্রগতিতে।
Saheeh International
If they could find a refuge or some caves or any place to enter [and hide], they would turn to it while they run heedlessly.
Arabic
ومنهم من يلمزك في الصدقات فإن أعطوا منها رضوا وإن لم يعطوا منها إذا هم يسخطون

উহাদের মধ্যে এমন লোক আছে, যে সাদাকা বণ্টন সম্পর্কে তোমাকে দোষারোপ করে ; অতঃপর ইহার কিছু উহাদেরকে দেওয়া হইলে উহারা পরিতুষ্ট হয়, আর ইহার কিছু উহাদেরকে না দেওয়া হইলে তৎক্ষণাৎ উহারা বিক্ষুব্ধ হয়।
Saheeh International
And among them are some who criticize you concerning the [distribution of] charities. If they are given from them, they approve; but if they are not given from them, at once they become angry.

ولو أنهم رضوا ما آتاهم الله ورسوله وقالوا حسبنا الله سيؤتينا الله من فضله ورسوله إنا إلى الله راغبون

ভাল হইত যদি উহারা ও তাঁহার রাসূল উহাদেরকে যাহা দিয়াছেন তাহাতে পরিতুষ্ট হইত এবং বলিত, ‘আল্লাহ্ই আমাদের জন্য যথেষ্ট, অচিরেই আমাদেরকে দিবেন নিজ করুণায় এবং তাঁহার রাসূলও; আমরা রই প্রতি অনুরক্ত।’
Saheeh International
If only they had been satisfied with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, "Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and [so will] His Messenger; indeed, we are desirous toward Allah," [it would have been better for them].
Arabic
۞ إنما الصدقات للفقراء والمساكين والعاملين عليها والمؤلفة قلوبهم وفي الرقاب والغارمين وفي سبيل الله وابن السبيل ۖ فريضة من الله ۗ والله عليم حكيم

সাদাকা তো কেবল নিঃস্ব, অভাবগ্রস্ত ও তৎসংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মচারীদের জন্য, যাহাদের চিত্ত আকর্ষণ করা হয় তাহাদের জন্য, দাসমুক্তির জন্য, ঋণ ভারাক্রান্তদের, র পথে ও মুসাফিরদের জন্য। ইহা র বিধান। সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler - an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

ومنهم الذين يؤذون النبي ويقولون هو أذن ۚ قل أذن خير لكم يؤمن بالله ويؤمن للمؤمنين ورحمة للذين آمنوا منكم ۚ والذين يؤذون رسول الله لهم عذاب أليم

এবং উহাদের মধ্যে এমনও লোক আছে যাহারা নবীকে ক্লেশ দেয় এবং বলে, ‘সে তো কর্ণপাতকারী।’ বল, ‘তাহার কান তোমাদের জন্য যাহা মঙ্গল তাহাই শুনে।’ সে আল্লাহে ঈমান আনে এবং মু’মিনদেরকে বিশ্বাস করে ; তোমাদের মধ্যে যাহারা সে তাহাদের জন্য রহমত এবং যাহারা র রাসূলকে ক্লেশ দেয় তাহাদের জন্য আছে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি।
Saheeh International
And among them are those who abuse the Prophet and say, "He is an ear." Say, "[It is] an ear of goodness for you that believes in Allah and believes the believers and [is] a mercy to those who believe among you." And those who abuse the Messenger of Allah - for them is a painful punishment.

يحلفون بالله لكم ليرضوكم والله ورسوله أحق أن يرضوه إن كانوا مؤمنين

উহারা তোমাদেরকে সন্তুষ্ট করিবার জন্য তোমাদের নিকট র শপথ করে। ও তাঁহার রাসূল ইহারই অধিক হকদার যে, উহারা তাহাদেরকেই সন্তুষ্ট করে, যদি উহারা হয়।
Saheeh International
They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers.
Arabic
ألم يعلموا أنه من يحادد الله ورسوله فأن له نار جهنم خالدا فيها ۚ ذلك الخزي العظيم

উহারা কি জানে না, যে ব্যক্তি ও তাঁহার রাসূলের বিরোধিতা করে তাহার জন্য তো আছে জাহান্নামের অগ্নি, যেখানে সে স্থায়ী হইবে ? উহাই চরম লাঞ্ছনা।
Saheeh International
Do they not know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger - that for him is the fire of Hell, wherein he will abide eternally? That is the great disgrace.
Arabic
يحذر المنافقون أن تنزل عليهم سورة تنبئهم بما في قلوبهم ۚ قل استهزئوا إن الله مخرج ما تحذرون

মুনাফিকেরা ভয় করে, তাহাদের সম্পর্কে এমন এক সূরা না অবতীর্ণ হয়, যাহা উহাদের অন্তরের কথা ব্যক্ত করিয়া দিবে ! বল, ‘বিদ্রূপ করিতে থাক ; তোমরা যাহা ভয় কর তাহা প্রকাশ করিয়া দিবেন।’
Saheeh International
They hypocrites are apprehensive lest a surah be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say, "Mock [as you wish]; indeed, Allah will expose that which you fear."
এবং তুমি উহাদেরকে প্রশ্ন করিলে উহারা নিশ্চয়ই বলিবে, ‘আমরা তো আলাপ - আলোচনা ও ক্রীড়া - কৌতুক করিতেছিলাম।’ বল, ‘তোমরা কি , তাঁহার নিদর্শন ও তাঁহার রাসূলকে বিদ্রূপ করিতেছিলে ?’
Saheeh International
And if you ask them, they will surely say, "We were only conversing and playing." Say, "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?"

لا تعتذروا قد كفرتم بعد إيمانكم ۚ إن نعف عن طائفة منكم نعذب طائفة بأنهم كانوا مجرمين

‘তোমরা দোষ স্খালনের চেষ্টা করিও না। তোমরা তো ঈমান আনার পর করিয়াছ। তোমাদের মধ্যে কোন দলকে ক্ষমা করিলেও অন্য দলকে শাস্তি দিব - কারণ তাহারা অপরাধী।’
Saheeh International
Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you - We will punish another faction because they were criminals.

المنافقون والمنافقات بعضهم من بعض ۚ يأمرون بالمنكر وينهون عن المعروف ويقبضون أيديهم ۚ نسوا الله فنسيهم ۗ إن المنافقين هم الفاسقون

মুনাফিক নর ও মুনাফিক নারী একে অপরের অনুরূপ, উহারা অসৎকর্মের নির্দেশ দেয় এবং সৎকর্ম নিষেধ করে, উহারা হাতবদ্ধ করিয়া রাখে, উহারা কে বিস্মৃত হইয়াছে, ফলে তিনিও উহাদেরকে বিস্মৃত হইয়াছেন; মুনাফিকেরা তো পাপাচারী।
Saheeh International
The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another. They enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right and close their hands. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them [accordingly]. Indeed, the hypocrites - it is they who are the defiantly disobedient.

وعد الله المنافقين والمنافقات والكفار نار جهنم خالدين فيها ۚ هي حسبهم ۚ ولعنهم الله ۖ ولهم عذاب مقيم

মুনাফিক নর, মুনাফিক নারী ও কাফিরদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়াছেন জাহান্নামের অগ্নির, যেখানে উহারা স্থায়ী হইবে, ইহাই উহাদের জন্য যথেষ্ট এবং উহাদেরকে লা‘নত করিয়াছেন এবং উহাদের জন্য রহিয়াছে স্থায়ী শাস্তি;
Saheeh International
Allah has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the disbelievers the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide eternally. It is sufficient for them. And Allah has cursed them, and for them is an enduring punishment.

كالذين من قبلكم كانوا أشد منكم قوة وأكثر أموالا وأولادا فاستمتعوا بخلاقهم فاستمتعتم بخلاقكم كما استمتع الذين من قبلكم بخلاقهم وخضتم كالذي خاضوا ۚ أولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة ۖ وأولئك هم الخاسرون

তোমরাও তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের মত যাহারা শক্তিতে তোমাদের অপেক্ষা প্রবল ছিল এবং যাহাদের ধন - সম্পদ ও সন্তান - সন্ততি ছিল তোমাদের অপেক্ষা অধিক, এবং উহারা উহাদের ভাগ্যে যাহা ছিল তাহা ভোগ করিয়াছে ; তোমাদের ভাগ্যে যাহা ছিল তোমরাও তাহা ভোগ করিলে, যেমন তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা উহাদের ভাগ্যে যাহা ছিল তাহা ভোগ করিয়াছে। উহারা যেইরূপ অনর্থক আলাপ - আলোচনায় লিপ্ত ছিল তোমরাও সেইরূপ আলাপ - আলোচনায় লিপ্ত রহিয়াছ। উহারাই তাহারা যাহাদের কর্ম দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতে ব্যর্থ এবং উহারাই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
Saheeh International
[You disbelievers are] like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children. They enjoyed their portion [of worldly enjoyment], and you have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion, and you have engaged [in vanities] like that in which they engaged. [It is] those whose deeds have become worthless in this world and in the Hereafter, and it is they who are the losers.

ألم يأتهم نبأ الذين من قبلهم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود وقوم إبراهيم وأصحاب مدين والمؤتفكات ۚ أتتهم رسلهم بالبينات ۖ فما كان الله ليظلمهم ولكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمون

উহাদের পূর্ববর্তী নূহ্, ‘আদ ও সামূদের সম্প্রদায়, ইব্রাহীমের সম্প্রদায় এবং মাদ্ইয়ান ও বিধ্বস্ত নগরের অধিবাসীদের সংবাদ কি উহাদের নিকট আসে নাই ? উহাদের নিকট স্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসহ উহাদের রাসূলগণ আসিয়াছিল। এমন নন যে, তাহাদের উপর জুলুম করেন, কিন্তু উহারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতি জুলুম করে।
Saheeh International
Has there not reached them the news of those before them - the people of Noah and [the tribes of] 'Aad and Thamud and the people of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.

والمؤمنون والمؤمنات بعضهم أولياء بعض ۚ يأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر ويقيمون الصلاة ويؤتون الزكاة ويطيعون الله ورسوله ۚ أولئك سيرحمهم الله ۗ إن الله عزيز حكيم

নর ও নারী একে অপরের বন্ধু, ইহারা সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দেয় এবং অসৎকাজ নিষেধ করে, কায়েম করে, যাকাত দেয় এবং ও তাঁহার রাসূলের আনুগত্য করে; ইহাদেরকেই কৃপা করিবেন। নিশ্চয়ই পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

وعد الله المؤمنين والمؤمنات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها ومساكن طيبة في جنات عدن ۚ ورضوان من الله أكبر ۚ ذلك هو الفوز العظيم

নর ও নারীকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়াছেন জান্নাতের - যাহার নিম্নদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, যেখানে তাহারা স্থায়ী হইবে এবং স্থায়ী জান্নাতে উত্তম বাসস্থানের। র সন্তুষ্টিই সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ এবং উহাই মহাসাফল্য।
Saheeh International
Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allah is greater. It is that which is the great attainment.

يا أيها النبي جاهد الكفار والمنافقين واغلظ عليهم ۚ ومأواهم جهنم ۖ وبئس المصير

হে নবী ! ও মুনাফিকদের বিরুদ্ধে জিহাদ কর ও উহাদের প্রতি কঠোর হও; উহাদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নাম, উহা কত নিকৃষ্ট প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল!
Saheeh International
O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.

يحلفون بالله ما قالوا ولقد قالوا كلمة الكفر وكفروا بعد إسلامهم وهموا بما لم ينالوا ۚ وما نقموا إلا أن أغناهم الله ورسوله من فضله ۚ فإن يتوبوا يك خيرا لهم ۖ وإن يتولوا يعذبهم الله عذابا أليما في الدنيا والآخرة ۚ وما لهم في الأرض من ولي ولا نصير

উহারা র শপথ করে যে, উহারা কিছু বলে নাই ; কিন্তু উহারা তো কুফরীর কথা বলিয়াছে এবং ইসলাম গ্রহণের পর উহারা হইয়াছে ; উহারা যাহা সংকল্প করিয়াছিল তাহা পায় নাই। ও তাঁহার রাসূল নিজ কৃপায় উহাদেরকে অভাবমুক্ত করিয়াছিলেন বলিয়াই উহারা বিরোধিতা করিয়াছিল। উহারা তওবা করিলে উহাদের জন্য ভাল হইবে, কিন্তু উহারা মুখ ফিরাইয়া লইলে দুনিয়ায় ও আখিরাতে উহাদেরকে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি দিবেন; পৃথিবীতে উহাদের কোন অভিাভাবক নাই এবং কোন সাহায্যকারীও নাই।
Saheeh International
They swear by Allah that they did not say [anything against the Prophet] while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their [pretense of] Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper.

۞ ومنهم من عاهد الله لئن آتانا من فضله لنصدقن ولنكونن من الصالحين

উহাদের মধ্যে কেহ কেহ র নিকট অঙ্গীকার করিয়াছিল, ‘ নিজ কৃপায় আমাদেরকে দান করিলে আমরা নিশ্চয়ই সাদাকা দিব এবং অবশ্যই সৎকর্মশীলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হইব।’
Saheeh International
And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah, [saying], "If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous."

فلما آتاهم من فضله بخلوا به وتولوا وهم معرضون

অতঃপর যখন তিনি নিজ কৃপায় উহাদেরকে দান করিলেন, তখন উহারা এই বিষয়ে কার্পণ্য করিল এবং বিরুদ্ধভাবাপন্ন হইয়া মুখ ফিরাইল।
Saheeh International
But when he gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused.

فأعقبهم نفاقا في قلوبهم إلى يوم يلقونه بما أخلفوا الله ما وعدوه وبما كانوا يكذبون

পরিণামে তিনি উহাদের অন্তরে কপটতা স্থিত করিলেন, র সঙ্গে উহাদের সাক্ষাৎ - দিবস পর্যন্ত, কারণ উহারা র নিকট যে অঙ্গীকার করিয়াছিল উহা ভঙ্গ করিয়াছিল; কারণ উহারা ছিল মিথ্যাচারী।
Saheeh International
So He penalized them with hypocrisy in their hearts until the Day they will meet Him - because they failed Allah in what they promised Him and because they [habitually] used to lie.

ألم يعلموا أن الله يعلم سرهم ونجواهم وأن الله علام الغيوب
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহারা কি জানিত না যে, উহাদের অন্তরের গোপন কথা ও উহাদের গোপন পরামর্শ অবশ্যই জানেন এবং যাহা তাহাও তিনি বিশেষভাবে জানেন ?
Saheeh International
Did they not know that Allah knows their secrets and their private conversations and that Allah is the Knower of the unseen?

الذين يلمزون المطوعين من المؤمنين في الصدقات والذين لا يجدون إلا جهدهم فيسخرون منهم ۙ سخر الله منهم ولهم عذاب أليم

মু’মিনদের মধ্যে যাহারা স্বতঃস্ফূর্তভাবে সাদাকা দেয় এবং যাহারা নিজ শ্রম ব্যতিরেকে কিছুই পায় না, তাহাদেরকে যাহারা দোষারোপ করে ও বিদ্রূপ করে, উহাদেরকে বিদ্রূপ করেন, উহাদের জন্য আছে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি।
Saheeh International
Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them - Allah will ridicule them, and they will have a painful punishment.
Arabic
استغفر لهم أو لا تستغفر لهم إن تستغفر لهم سبعين مرة فلن يغفر الله لهم ۚ ذلك بأنهم كفروا بالله ورسوله ۗ والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তুমি উহাদের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা কর অথবা উহাদের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা না কর একই কথা; তুমি সত্তর বার উহাদের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করিলেও উহাদেরকে কখনই ক্ষমা করিবেন না। ইহা এইজন্য যে, উহারা ও তাঁহার রাসূলের সঙ্গে করিয়াছে। পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়কে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
Saheeh International
Ask forgiveness for them, [O Muhammad], or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you should ask forgiveness for them seventy times - never will Allah forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.

فرح المخلفون بمقعدهم خلاف رسول الله وكرهوا أن يجاهدوا بأموالهم وأنفسهم في سبيل الله وقالوا لا تنفروا في الحر ۗ قل نار جهنم أشد حرا ۚ لو كانوا يفقهون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
যাহারা পশ্চাতে রহিয়া গেল তাহারা র রাসূলের বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করিয়া বসিয়া থাকাতেই আনন্দবোধ করিল এবং তাহাদের ধন - সম্পদ ও জীবন দ্বারা র পথে জিহাদ করা অপছন্দকরিল এবং তাহারা বলিল, ‘গরমের মধ্যে অভিযানে বাহির হইও না।’ বল, ‘উত্তাপে জাহান্নামের আগুন প্রচণ্ডতম’, যদি তাহারা বুঝিত!
Saheeh International
Those who remained behind rejoiced in their staying [at home] after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah and disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah and said, "Do not go forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is more intensive in heat" - if they would but understand.

فليضحكوا قليلا وليبكوا كثيرا جزاء بما كانوا يكسبون
So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn.
Arabic
فإن رجعك الله إلى طائفة منهم فاستأذنوك للخروج فقل لن تخرجوا معي أبدا ولن تقاتلوا معي عدوا ۖ إنكم رضيتم بالقعود أول مرة فاقعدوا مع الخالفين

যদি তোমাকে উহাদের কোন দলের নিকট ফেরত আনেন এবং উহারা অভিযানে বাহির হইবার জন্য তোমার অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করে, তখন তুমি বলিবে, ‘তোমরা তো আমার সঙ্গে কখনও বাহির হইবে না এবং তোমরা আমার সঙ্গী হইয়া কখনও শত্রুর সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করিবে না। তোমরা তো প্রথমবার বসিয়া থাকাই পছন্দকরিয়াছিলে ; সুতরাং যাহারা পিছনে থাকে তাহাদের সঙ্গে বসিয়াই থাক।’
Saheeh International
If Allah should return you to a faction of them [after the expedition] and then they ask your permission to go out [to battle], say, "You will not go out with me, ever, and you will never fight with me an enemy. Indeed, you were satisfied with sitting [at home] the first time, so sit [now] with those who stay behind."

ولا تصل على أحد منهم مات أبدا ولا تقم على قبره ۖ إنهم كفروا بالله ورسوله وماتوا وهم فاسقون

উহাদের মধ্যে কাহারও মৃত্যু হইলে তুমি কখনও উহার জন্য জানাযার পড়িবে না এবং উহার কবর - পার্শ্বে দাঁড়াইবে না ; উহারা তো ও তাঁহার রাসূলকে অস্বীকার করিয়াছিল এবং পাপাচারী অবস্থায় উহাদের মৃত্যু হইয়াছে।
Saheeh International
And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muhammad], over any of them who has died - ever - or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.
Arabic
ولا تعجبك أموالهم وأولادهم ۚ إنما يريد الله أن يعذبهم بها في الدنيا وتزهق أنفسهم وهم كافرون

সুতরাং উহাদের সম্পদ ও সন্তান - সন্ততি তোমাকে যেন বিমুগ্ধ না করে ; তো উহার দ্বারাই উহাদেরকে পার্থিব জীবনে শাস্তি দিতে চান ; উহারা থাকা অবস্থায় উহাদের আত্মা দেহত্যাগ করিবে।
Saheeh International
And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers.

وإذا أنزلت سورة أن آمنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استأذنك أولو الطول منهم وقالوا ذرنا نكن مع القاعدين

‘আল্লাহর উপর ঈমান আন এবং রাসূলের সঙ্গী হইয়া জিহাদ কর’ - এই মর্মে যখন কোন সূরা অবতীর্ণ হয় তখন উহাদের মধ্যে যাহাদের শক্তি - সামর্থ্য আছে তাহারা তোমার নিকট অব্যাহতি চায় এবং বলে, ‘আমাদেরকে রেহাই দাও, যাহারা বসিয়া থাকে আমরা তাহাদের সঙ্গেই থাকিব।’
Saheeh International
And when a surah was revealed [enjoining them] to believe in Allah and to fight with His Messenger, those of wealth among them asked your permission [to stay back] and said, "Leave us to be with them who sit [at home]."

رضوا بأن يكونوا مع الخوالف وطبع على قلوبهم فهم لا يفقهون

উহারা অন্তঃপুরবাসিনীদের সঙ্গে অবস্থান করাই পছন্দকরিয়াছে এবং উহাদের অন্তর মোহর করা হইয়াছে ; ফলে উহারা বুঝিতে পারে না।
Saheeh International
They were satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and their hearts were sealed over, so they do not understand.
Arabic
لكن الرسول والذين آمنوا معه جاهدوا بأموالهم وأنفسهم ۚ وأولئك لهم الخيرات ۖ وأولئك هم المفلحون

কিন্তু রাসূল এবং যাহারা তাহার সঙ্গে ঈমান আনিয়াছিল তাহারা নিজ সম্পদ ও জীবন দ্বারা র পথে জিহাদ করিয়াছে ; উহাদের জন্যই কল্যাণ আছে এবং উহারাই ।
Saheeh International
But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all that is] good, and it is those who are the .

أعد الله لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها ۚ ذلك الفوز العظيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত করিয়া রাখিয়াছেন জান্নাত, যাহার নিম্নদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, যেখানে তাহারা স্থায়ী হইবে; ইহাই মহাসাফল্য।
Saheeh International
Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally. That is the great attainment.

وجاء المعذرون من الأعراب ليؤذن لهم وقعد الذين كذبوا الله ورسوله ۚ سيصيب الذين كفروا منهم عذاب أليم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
মরুবাসীদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক অজুহাত পেশ করিতে আসিল যেন ইহাদেরকে অব্যাহতি দেওয়া হয় এবং যাহারা বসিয়া রহিল তাহারা ও তাঁহার রাসূলের সঙ্গে মিথ্যা বলিয়াছিল, উহাদের মধ্যে যাহারা করিয়াছে তাহাদের মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি হইবেই।
Saheeh International
And those with excuses among the bedouins came to be permitted [to remain], and they who had lied to Allah and His Messenger sat [at home]. There will strike those who disbelieved among them a painful punishment.

ليس على الضعفاء ولا على المرضى ولا على الذين لا يجدون ما ينفقون حرج إذا نصحوا لله ورسوله ۚ ما على المحسنين من سبيل ۚ والله غفور رحيم

যাহারা দুর্বল, যাহারা পীড়িত এবং যাহারা অর্থসাহায্যে অসমর্থ, তাহাদের কোন অপরাধ নাই, যদি ও রাসূলের প্রতি তাহাদের অবিমিশ্র অনুরাগ থাকে। যাহারা সৎকর্মপরায়ণ তাহাদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগের কোন হেতু নাই ; ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
There is not upon the weak or upon the ill or upon those who do not find anything to spend any discomfort when they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is not upon the doers of good any cause [for blame]. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

ولا على الذين إذا ما أتوك لتحملهم قلت لا أجد ما أحملكم عليه تولوا وأعينهم تفيض من الدمع حزنا ألا يجدوا ما ينفقون

উহাদেরও কোন অপরাধ নাই যাহারা তোমার নিকট বাহনের জন্য আসিলে তুমি বলিয়াছিলে, ‘তোমাদের জন্য কোন বাহন আমি পাইতেছি না’; উহারা অর্থব্যয়ে অসামর্থ্যজনিত দুঃখে অশ্রুবিগলিত নেত্রে ফিরিয়া গেল।
Saheeh International
Nor [is there blame] upon those who, when they came to you that you might give them mounts, you said, "I can find nothing for you to ride upon." They turned back while their eyes overflowed with tears out of grief that they could not find something to spend [for the cause of Allah].

۞ إنما السبيل على الذين يستأذنونك وهم أغنياء ۚ رضوا بأن يكونوا مع الخوالف وطبع الله على قلوبهم فهم لا يعلمون

যাহারা অভাবমুক্ত হইয়াও অব্যাহতি প্রার্থনা করিয়াছে, অবশ্যই উহাদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগের হেতু আছে। উহারা অন্তঃপুরবাসিনীদের সঙ্গে থাকাই পছন্দকরিয়াছিল ; উহাদের অন্তর মোহর করিয়া দিয়াছেন, ফলে উহারা বুঝিতে পারে না!
Saheeh International
The cause [for blame] is only upon those who ask permission of you while they are rich. They are satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and Allah has sealed over their hearts, so they do not know.

يعتذرون إليكم إذا رجعتم إليهم ۚ قل لا تعتذروا لن نؤمن لكم قد نبأنا الله من أخباركم ۚ وسيرى الله عملكم ورسوله ثم تردون إلى عالم الغيب والشهادة فينبئكم بما كنتم تعملون

তোমরা উহাদের নিকট ফিরিয়া আসিলে উহারা তোমাদের নিকট অজুহাত পেশ করিবে। বলিও, ‘অজুহাত পেশ করিও না, আমরা তোমাদেরকে কখনও বিশ্বাস করিব না ; আমাদেরকে তোমাদের খবর জানাইয়া দিয়াছেন এবং অবশ্যই তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ লক্ষ্য করিবেন এবং তাঁহার রাসূলও। অতঃপর যিনি ও দৃশ্যের পরিজ্ঞাতা তাঁহার নিকট তোমাদেরকে প্রত্যাবর্তিত করা হইবে এবং তিনি তোমরা যাহা করিতে, তাহা তোমাদেরকে জানাইয়া দিবেন।’
Saheeh International
They will make excuses to you when you have returned to them. Say, "Make no excuse - never will we believe you. Allah has already us of your news. And Allah will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger; then you will be taken back to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do."
Arabic
سيحلفون بالله لكم إذا انقلبتم إليهم لتعرضوا عنهم ۖ فأعرضوا عنهم ۖ إنهم رجس ۖ ومأواهم جهنم جزاء بما كانوا يكسبون
They will swear by Allah to you when you return to them that you would leave them alone. So leave them alone; indeed they are evil; and their refuge is Hell as recompense for what they had been earning.
Arabic
يحلفون لكم لترضوا عنهم ۖ فإن ترضوا عنهم فإن الله لا يرضى عن القوم الفاسقين

উহারা তোমাদের নিকট শপথ করিবে যাহাতে তোমরা উহাদের প্রতি তুষ্ট হও। তোমরা উহাদের প্রতি তুষ্ট হইলেও তো সত্যত্যাগী সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি তুষ্ট হইবেন না।
Saheeh International
They swear to you so that you might be satisfied with them. But if you should be satisfied with them - indeed, Allah is not satisfied with a defiantly disobedient people.
Arabic
الأعراب أشد كفرا ونفاقا وأجدر ألا يعلموا حدود ما أنزل الله على رسوله ۗ والله عليم حكيم

ও কপটতায় মরুবাসীরা কঠোরতর; এবং তাঁহার রাসূলের প্রতি যাহা অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছেন, তাহার সীমারেখা সম্পর্কে অজ্ঞ থাকার যোগ্যতা ইহাদের অধিক। সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
The bedouins are stronger in disbelief and hypocrisy and more likely not to know the limits of what [laws] Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

ومن الأعراب من يتخذ ما ينفق مغرما ويتربص بكم الدوائر ۚ عليهم دائرة السوء ۗ والله سميع عليم

মরুবাসীদের কেহ কেহ, যাহা তাহারা র পথে ব্যয় করে তাহা অর্থদণ্ড বলিয়া গণ্য করে এবং তোমাদের ভাগ্য বিপর্যয়ের প্রতীক্ষা করে। মন্দ ভাগ্যচক্র উহাদেরই হউক। সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
Saheeh International
And among the bedouins are some who consider what they spend as a loss and await for you turns of misfortune. Upon them will be a misfortune of evil. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

ومن الأعراب من يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ويتخذ ما ينفق قربات عند الله وصلوات الرسول ۚ ألا إنها قربة لهم ۚ سيدخلهم الله في رحمته ۗ إن الله غفور رحيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
মরুবাসীদের কেহ কেহ আল্লাহে ও পরকালে ঈমান রাখে এবং যাহা ব্যয় করে তাহাকে র সান্নিধ্য ও রাসূলের দু‘আ লাভের উপায় মনে করে। বাস্তবিকই উহা তাহাদের জন্য র সান্নিধ্য লাভের উপায় ; তাহাদেরকে নিজ রহমতে দাখিল করিবেন। নিশ্চয়ই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
But among the bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of [obtaining] invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

والسابقون الأولون من المهاجرين والأنصار والذين اتبعوهم بإحسان رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه وأعد لهم جنات تجري تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا ۚ ذلك الفوز العظيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
মুহাজির ও আনসারদের মধ্যে যাহারা প্রথম অগ্রগামী এবং যাহারা নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে তাহাদের অনুসরণ করে তাহাদের প্রতি প্রসন্ন এবং তাহারাও তাহাতে সন্তুষ্ট এবং তিনি তাহাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত করিয়াছেন জান্নাত, যাহার নিম্নদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, যেখানে তাহারা চিরস্থায়ী হইবে। ইহা মহাসাফল্য।
Saheeh International
And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.

وممن حولكم من الأعراب منافقون ۖ ومن أهل المدينة ۖ مردوا على النفاق لا تعلمهم ۖ نحن نعلمهم ۚ سنعذبهم مرتين ثم يردون إلى عذاب عظيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
মরুবাসীদের মধ্যে যাহারা তোমাদের আশেপাশে আছে তাহাদের কেহ কেহ মুনাফিক এবং মদীনাবাসীদের মধ্যেও কেহ কেহ, উহারা কপটতায় সিদ্ধ। তুমি উহাদেরকে জান না; আমি উহাদেরকে জানি। আমি উহাদেরকে দুইবার শাস্তি দিব ও পরে উহারা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হইবে মহাশাস্তির দিকে।
Saheeh International
And among those around you of the bedouins are hypocrites, and [also] from the people of Madinah. They have become accustomed to hypocrisy. You, [O Muhammad], do not know them, [but] We know them. We will punish them twice [in this world]; then they will be returned to a great punishment.
Arabic
وآخرون اعترفوا بذنوبهم خلطوا عملا صالحا وآخر سيئا عسى الله أن يتوب عليهم ۚ إن الله غفور رحيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং অপর কতক লোকে নিজেদের অপরাধ স্বীকার করিয়াছে, উহারা এক সৎকর্মের সঙ্গে অপর অসৎকর্ম মিশ্রিত করিয়াছে; হয়ত উহাদেরকে ক্ষমা করিবেন; নিশ্চয়ই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
And [there are] others who have acknowledged their sins. They had mixed a righteous deed with another that was bad. Perhaps Allah will turn to them in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

خذ من أموالهم صدقة تطهرهم وتزكيهم بها وصل عليهم ۖ إن صلاتك سكن لهم ۗ والله سميع عليم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহাদের সম্পদ হইতে ‘সাদাকা’ গ্রহণ করিবে। ইহার দ্বারা তুমি উহাদেরকে পবিত্র করিবে এবং পরিশোধিত করিবে। তুমি উহাদেরকে দু‘আ করিবে। তোমার দু‘আ তো উহাদের জন্য চিত্ত স্বস্তিকর। সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
Saheeh International
Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah 's blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

ألم يعلموا أن الله هو يقبل التوبة عن عباده ويأخذ الصدقات وأن الله هو التواب الرحيم

উহারা কি জানে না যে, তো তাঁহার বান্দাদের তওবা কবুল করেন এবং ‘সাদাকা’ গ্রহণ করেন, নিশ্চয়ই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু ?
Saheeh International
Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts repentance from His servants and receives charities and that it is Allah who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful?
Arabic
وقل اعملوا فسيرى الله عملكم ورسوله والمؤمنون ۖ وستردون إلى عالم الغيب والشهادة فينبئكم بما كنتم تعملون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং বল, ‘তোমরা কর্ম করিতে থাক; তো তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ লক্ষ্য করিবেন এবং তাঁহার রাসূল ও মু’মিনগণও করিবে এবং অচিরেই তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হইবে ও দৃশ্যের পরিজ্ঞাতার নিকট, অতঃপর তিনি তোমরা যাহা করিতে তাহা তোমাদেরকে জানাইয়া দিবেন।’
Saheeh International
And say, "Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so, will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do."
Arabic
وآخرون مرجون لأمر الله إما يعذبهم وإما يتوب عليهم ۗ والله عليم حكيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং র আদেশের প্রতীক্ষায় অপর কতকের সম্পর্কে সিদ্ধান্ত স্থগিত রহিল তিনি উহাদেরকে শাস্তি দিবেন, না ক্ষমা করিবেন। সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
And [there are] others deferred until the command of Allah - whether He will punish them or whether He will forgive them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
Arabic
والذين اتخذوا مسجدا ضرارا وكفرا وتفريقا بين المؤمنين وإرصادا لمن حارب الله ورسوله من قبل ۚ وليحلفن إن أردنا إلا الحسنى ۖ والله يشهد إنهم لكاذبون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং যাহারা মসজিদ নির্মাণ করিয়াছে ক্ষতিসাধন, ও মু’মিনদের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যে এবং ইতিপূর্বে ও তাঁহার রাসূলের বিরুদ্ধে যে ব্যক্তি সংগ্রাম করিয়াছে তাহার গোপন ঘাঁটিস্বরূপ ব্যবহারের উদ্দেশ্যে, তাহারা অবশ্যই শপথ করিবে, ‘আমরা সদুদ্দেশ্যেই উহা করিয়াছি’; সাক্ষী, তাহারা তো মিথ্যাবাদী।
Saheeh International
And [there are] those [hypocrites] who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm and disbelief and division among the believers and as a station for whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before. And they will surely swear, "We intended only the best." And Allah testifies that indeed they are liars.

لا تقم فيه أبدا ۚ لمسجد أسس على التقوى من أول يوم أحق أن تقوم فيه ۚ فيه رجال يحبون أن يتطهروا ۚ والله يحب المطهرين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
তুমি ইহাতে কখনও দাঁড়াইও না। যে মসজিদের ভিত্তি প্রথম দিন হইতেই স্থাপিত হইয়াছে তাক্ওয়ার উপর, উহাই তোমার সালাতের জন্য অধিক যোগ্য। সেখানে এমন লোক আছে যাহারা পবিত্রতা অর্জন ভালবাসে এবং পবিত্রতা অর্জনকারীদেরকে পছন্দকরেন।
Saheeh International
Do not stand [for prayer] within it - ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves.
Arabic
أفمن أسس بنيانه على تقوى من الله ورضوان خير أم من أسس بنيانه على شفا جرف هار فانهار به في نار جهنم ۗ والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
যে ব্যক্তি তাহার গৃহের ভিত্তি ভীতি ও র সন্তুষ্টির উপর স্থাপন করে সে উত্তম, না ঐ ব্যক্তি উত্তম যে তাহার গৃহের ভিত্তি স্থাপন করে এক খাদের ধসোন্মূখ কিনারায়, ফলে যাহা উহাকেসহ জাহান্নামের অগ্নিতে পতিত হয় ? সম্প্রদায়কে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
Saheeh International
Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better or one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
Arabic
لا يزال بنيانهم الذي بنوا ريبة في قلوبهم إلا أن تقطع قلوبهم ۗ والله عليم حكيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহাদের গৃহ যাহা উহারা নির্মাণ করিয়াছে তাহা উহাদের অন্তরে সন্দেহের কারণ হইয়া থাকিবে। যে পর্যন্ত না উহাদের অন্তর ছিন্ন - বিচ্ছিন্ন হইয়া যায়। সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
Their building which they built will not cease to be a [cause of] skepticism in their hearts until their hearts are stopped. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
Arabic
۞ إن الله اشترى من المؤمنين أنفسهم وأموالهم بأن لهم الجنة ۚ يقاتلون في سبيل الله فيقتلون ويقتلون ۖ وعدا عليه حقا في التوراة والإنجيل والقرآن ۚ ومن أوفى بعهده من الله ۚ فاستبشروا ببيعكم الذي بايعتم به ۚ وذلك هو الفوز العظيم

নিশ্চয়ই মু’মিনদের নিকট হইতে তাহাদের জীবন ও সম্পদ ক্রয় করিয়া লইয়াছেন, তাহাদের জন্য জান্নাত আছে ইহার বিনিময়ে। তাহারা র পথে যুদ্ধ করে, নিধন করে ও নিহত হয়। তাওরাত, ইনজীল ও কুরআনে এই সম্পর্কে তাহাদের দৃঢ় প্রতিশ্রুতি রহিয়াছে। নিজ প্রতিজ্ঞা পালনে অপেক্ষা শ্রেষ্ঠতর কে আছে ? তোমরা যে সওদা করিয়াছ সেই সওদার জন্য আনন্দিত হও এবং উহাই তো মহাসাফল্য।
Saheeh International
Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.
Arabic
التائبون العابدون الحامدون السائحون الراكعون الساجدون الآمرون بالمعروف والناهون عن المنكر والحافظون لحدود الله ۗ وبشر المؤمنين
[Such believers are] the repentant, the worshippers, the praisers [of Allah], the travelers [for His cause], those who bow and prostrate [in prayer], those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allah. And give good tidings to the believers.
Arabic
ما كان للنبي والذين آمنوا أن يستغفروا للمشركين ولو كانوا أولي قربى من بعد ما تبين لهم أنهم أصحاب الجحيم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
আত্মীয় - স্বজন হইলেও মুশরিকদের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করা নবী এবং মু’মিনদের জন্য সংগত নয় যখন ইহা সুস্পষ্ট হইয়া গিয়াছে যে, নিশ্চিতই উহারা জাহান্নামী।
Saheeh International
It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire.

وما كان استغفار إبراهيم لأبيه إلا عن موعدة وعدها إياه فلما تبين له أنه عدو لله تبرأ منه ۚ إن إبراهيم لأواه حليم
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
ইব্রাহীম তাহার পিতার জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করিয়াছিল, তাহাকে ইহার প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়াছিল বলিয়া ; অতঃপর যখন ইহা তাহার নিকট সুস্পষ্ট হইল যে, সে র শত্রূ তখন ইব্রাহীম উহার সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করিল। ইব্রাহীম তো কোমল হৃদয় ও সহনশীল।
Saheeh International
And the request of forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became apparent to Abraham that his father was an enemy to Allah, he disassociated himself from him. Indeed was Abraham compassionate and patient.
Arabic
وما كان الله ليضل قوما بعد إذ هداهم حتى يبين لهم ما يتقون ۚ إن الله بكل شيء عليم

এমন নন যে, তিনি কোন সম্প্রদায়কে পথপ্রদর্শন করিবার পর উহাদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করিবেন - উহাদেরকে কী বিষয়ে তাক্ওয়া অবলম্বন করিতে হইবে, ইহা সুস্পষ্টরূপে ব্যক্ত না করা পর্যন্ত; নিশ্চয়ই সর্ববিষয়ে সবিশেষ অবহিত।
Saheeh International
And Allah would not let a people stray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should avoid. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.
Arabic
إن الله له ملك السماوات والأرض ۖ يحيي ويميت ۚ وما لكم من دون الله من ولي ولا نصير
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সার্বভৌম ক্ষমতা আল্লাহরই; তিনিই জীবন দান করেন এবং তিনিই মৃত্যু ঘটান। ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন অভিভাবক নাই, সাহায্যকারীও নাই।
Saheeh International
Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.

لقد تاب الله على النبي والمهاجرين والأنصار الذين اتبعوه في ساعة العسرة من بعد ما كاد يزيغ قلوب فريق منهم ثم تاب عليهم ۚ إنه بهم رءوف رحيم

অবশ্যই অনুগ্রহপরায়ণ হইলেন নবীর প্রতি এবং মুহাজির ও আনসারদের প্রতি যাহারা তাহার অনুসরণ করিয়াছিল সংকটকালে - এমনকি যখন তাহাদের একদলের চিত্ত - বৈকল্যের উপক্রম হইয়াছিল। পরে উহাদেরকে ক্ষমা করিলেন; তিনি তো উহাদের প্রতি দয়ার্দ্র, পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
Allah has already forgiven the Prophet and the Muhajireen and the Ansar who followed him in the hour of difficulty after the hearts of a party of them had almost inclined [to doubt], and then He forgave them. Indeed, He was to them Kind and Merciful.

وعلى الثلاثة الذين خلفوا حتى إذا ضاقت عليهم الأرض بما رحبت وضاقت عليهم أنفسهم وظنوا أن لا ملجأ من الله إلا إليه ثم تاب عليهم ليتوبوا ۚ إن الله هو التواب الرحيم

এবং তিনি ক্ষমা করিলেন অপর তিনজনকেও, যাহাদের সম্পর্কে সিদ্ধান্ত স্থগিত রাখা হইয়াছিল, যে পর্যন্ত না পৃথিবী বিস্তৃত হওয়া সত্ত্বেও তাহাদের জন্য উহা সংকুচিত হইয়াছিল এবং তাহাদের জীবন তাহাদের জন্য দুর্বিষহ হইয়াছিল এবং তাহারা উপলব্ধি করিয়াছিল যে, ব্যতীত কোন আশ্রয়স্থল নাই, তাঁহার দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তন ব্যতীত, পরে তিনি উহাদের তওবা কবুল করিলেন যাহাতে উহারা তওবায় স্থির থাকে। নিশ্চয়ই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
And [He also forgave] the three who were left behind [and regretted their error] to the point that the earth closed in on them in spite of its vastness and their souls confined them and they were certain that there is no refuge from Allah except in Him. Then He turned to them so they could repent. Indeed, Allah is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وكونوا مع الصادقين

হে মু’মিনগণ! তোমরা কে ভয় কর এবং সত্যবাদীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হও।
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true.
Arabic
ما كان لأهل المدينة ومن حولهم من الأعراب أن يتخلفوا عن رسول الله ولا يرغبوا بأنفسهم عن نفسه ۚ ذلك بأنهم لا يصيبهم ظمأ ولا نصب ولا مخمصة في سبيل الله ولا يطئون موطئا يغيظ الكفار ولا ينالون من عدو نيلا إلا كتب لهم به عمل صالح ۚ إن الله لا يضيع أجر المحسنين

মদীনাবাসী ও উহাদের পার্শ্ববর্তী মরুবাসীদের জন্য সঙ্গত নয় র রাসূলের সহগামী না হইয়া পিছনে রহিয়া যাওয়া এবং তাহার জীবন অপেক্ষা তাহাদের নিজেদের জীবনকে প্রিয় জ্ঞান করা ; কারণ র পথে উহাদের তৃষ্ণা, ক্লান্তি এবং ক্ষুধায় ক্লিষ্ট হওয়া এবং কাফিরদের ক্রোধ উদ্রেক করে এমন পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা এবং শত্রূদের নিকট হইতে কিছু প্রাপ্ত হওয়া উহাদের সৎকর্মরূপে গণ্য হয়। নিশ্চয়ই সৎকর্মপরায়ণদের শ্রমফল নষ্ট করেন না।
Saheeh International
It was not [proper] for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good.
Arabic
ولا ينفقون نفقة صغيرة ولا كبيرة ولا يقطعون واديا إلا كتب لهم ليجزيهم الله أحسن ما كانوا يعملون

এবং উহারা ক্ষুদ্র অথবা বৃহৎ যাহাই ব্যয় করে এবং যে কোন প্রান্তরই অতিক্রম করে তাহা উহাদের অনুকূলে লিপিবদ্ধ হয় - যাহাতে উহারা যাহা করে তাহা অপেক্ষা উৎকৃষ্টতর পুরস্কার উহাদেরকে দিতে পারেন।
Saheeh International
Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing.

۞ وما كان المؤمنون لينفروا كافة ۚ فلولا نفر من كل فرقة منهم طائفة ليتفقهوا في الدين ولينذروا قومهم إذا رجعوا إليهم لعلهم يحذرون

মু’মিনদের সকলের একসঙ্গে অভিযানে বাহির হওয়া সংগত নয়, উহাদের প্রত্যেক দলের এক অংশ বহির্গত হয় না কেন, যাহাতে তাহারা দীন সম্বন্ধে জ্ঞানানুশীলন করিতে পারে এবং উহাদের সম্প্রদায়কে সতর্ক করিতে পারে, যখন তাহারা তাহাদের নিকট ফিরিয়া আসিবে যাহাতে তাহারা সতর্ক হয়।
Saheeh International
And it is not for the believers to go forth [to battle] all at once. For there should separate from every division of them a group [remaining] to obtain understanding in the religion and warn their people when they return to them that they might be cautious.
Arabic
يا أيها الذين آمنوا قاتلوا الذين يلونكم من الكفار وليجدوا فيكم غلظة ۚ واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين

হে মু’মিনগণ! কাফিরদের মধ্যে যাহারা তোমাদের নিকটবর্তী তাহাদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ কর এবং উহারা যেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কঠোরতা দেখিতে পায়। জানিয়া রাখ, তো মুত্তাকীদের সঙ্গে আছেন।
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness. And know that Allah is with the righteous.
Arabic
وإذا ما أنزلت سورة فمنهم من يقول أيكم زادته هذه إيمانا ۚ فأما الذين آمنوا فزادتهم إيمانا وهم يستبشرون

যখনই কোন সূরা অবতীর্ণ হয় তখন উহাদের কেহ কেহ বলে, ‘ইহা তোমাদের মধ্যে কাহার ঈমান বৃদ্ধি করিল ?’ যাহারা ইহা তাহাদেরই ঈমান বৃদ্ধি করে এবং তাহারাই আনন্দিত হয়।
Saheeh International
And whenever a surah is revealed, there are among the hypocrites those who say, "Which of you has this increased faith?" As for those who believed, it has increased them in faith, while they are rejoicing.

وأما الذين في قلوبهم مرض فزادتهم رجسا إلى رجسهم وماتوا وهم كافرون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং যাহাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি আছে, ইহা তাহাদের কলুষের সঙ্গে আরও কলুষ যুক্ত করে এবং উহাদের মৃত্যু ঘটে অবস্থায়।
Saheeh International
But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it has [only] increased them in evil [in addition] to their evil. And they will have died while they are disbelievers.
Arabic
أولا يرون أنهم يفتنون في كل عام مرة أو مرتين ثم لا يتوبون ولا هم يذكرون
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
উহারা কি দেখে না যে, ‘উহাদেরকে প্রতি বৎসর একবার বা দুইবার বিপর্যস্ত করা হয় ?’ ইহার পরও উহারা তওবা করে না এবং উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে না,
Saheeh International
Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice but then they do not repent nor do they remember?
Arabic
وإذا ما أنزلت سورة نظر بعضهم إلى بعض هل يراكم من أحد ثم انصرفوا ۚ صرف الله قلوبهم بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون

এবং যখনই কোন সূরা অবতীর্ণ হয়, তখন উহারা একে অপরের দিকে তাকায় এবং ইশারায় জিজ্ঞাসা করে ‘তোমাদেরকে কেহ লক্ষ্য করিতেছে কি ?’ অতঃপর উহারা সরিয়া পড়ে। উহাদের হৃদয়কে সত্যবিমুখ করিয়াছেন, কারণ উহারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাহাদের বোধশক্তি নাই।
Saheeh International
And whenever a surah is revealed, they look at each other, [saying], "Does anyone see you?" and then they dismiss themselves. Allah has dismissed their hearts because they are a people who do not understand.

لقد جاءكم رسول من أنفسكم عزيز عليه ما عنتم حريص عليكم بالمؤمنين رءوف رحيم

অবশ্যই তোমাদের মধ্য হইতেই তোমাদের নিকট এক রাসূল আসিয়াছে। তোমাদেরকে যাহা বিপন্ন করে উহা তাহার জন্য কষ্টদায়ক। সে তোমাদের মঙ্গলকামী, মু’মিনদের প্রতি সে দয়ার্দ্র ও পরম দয়ালু।
Saheeh International
There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.
Arabic
فإن تولوا فقل حسبي الله لا إله إلا هو ۖ عليه توكلت ۖ وهو رب العرش العظيم

অতঃপর উহারা যদি মুখ ফিরাইয়া নেয় তবে তুমি বলিও, ‘আমার জন্য আল্লাহ্ই যথেষ্ট, তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ নাই। আমি তাহারই উপর নির্ভর করি এবং তিনি মহাআর্শের অধিপতি।’
Saheeh International
But if they turn away, [O Muhammad], say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne."
