بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم سبح لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض ۖ وهو العزيز الحكيم
জহুরুল হক
র মহিমা ঘোষণা করছে যা - কিছু আছে মহাকাশমন্ডলে ও যা - কিছু আছে পৃথিবীতে, আর তিনি মহাশক্তিশালী, পরমজ্ঞানী।

Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, let it declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: for He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

يا أيها الذين آمنوا لم تقولون ما لا تفعلون

ওহে যারা ঈমান এনেছ! কেন তোমরা তা বল যা তোমরা কর না?

O ye who believe! Why say ye that which ye do not?

كبر مقتا عند الله أن تقولوا ما لا تفعلون

র কাছে অত্যন্ত ঘৃণিত যে তোমরা এমন সব বল যা তোমরা কর না।

Grievously odious is it in the sight of Allah that ye say that which ye do not.

إن الله يحب الذين يقاتلون في سبيله صفا كأنهم بنيان مرصوص

নিঃসন্দেহ ভালবাসেন তাদের যারা তাঁর পথে যুদ্ধ করে সারিবদ্ধভাবে, যেন তারা একটি জমাট গাঁথুনি।

Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure.

وإذ قال موسى لقومه يا قوم لم تؤذونني وقد تعلمون أني رسول الله إليكم ۖ فلما زاغوا أزاغ الله قلوبهم ۚ والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين

আর স্মরণ করো! মূসা তাঁর স্বজাতিকে বলেছিলেন, ''হে আমার লোকদল! কেন তোমরা আমাকে কষ্ট দিচ্ছ যখন তোমরা জেনে গিয়েছ যে আমি নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের নিকট র প্রেরিত - পুরুষ?’’ তারপর তারা যখন বিমুখ হয়ে গিয়েছিল তখন তাদের হৃদয়কে বিমুখ করে দিলেন। আর সত্যত্যাগী জাতিকে সৎপথে চালান না।

And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.

وإذ قال عيسى ابن مريم يا بني إسرائيل إني رسول الله إليكم مصدقا لما بين يدي من التوراة ومبشرا برسول يأتي من بعدي اسمه أحمد ۖ فلما جاءهم بالبينات قالوا هذا سحر مبين

আর স্মরণ করো! মরিময়পুত্র ঈসা বলেছিলেন - - ''হে ইসরাইলের বংশধরগণ! আমি নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের নিকট র রসূল, আমার সমক্ষে তওরাতে যা রয়েছে আমি তার সমর্থনকারী, আর সুসংবাদদাতা এমন এক রসূল সন্বন্ধে যিনি আমার পরে আসবেন, তাঁর নাম 'আহ্মদ’।’’ তারপর যখন তিনি তাদের কাছে এলেন স্পষ্ট প্রমাণাবলীসহ, তারা বললে - - ''এ তো এক স্পষ্ট জাদু!’’

And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"

ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله الكذب وهو يدعى إلى الإسلام ۚ والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين
জহুরুল হক
আর তার চাইতে কে বেশী অন্যায়কারী যে র বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা রচনা করে, অথচ তাকে আহ্বান করা হচ্ছে ইসলামের দিকে? আর অন্যায়াচারী জাতিকে সৎপথে চালান না।

Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong.

يريدون ليطفئوا نور الله بأفواههم والله متم نوره ولو كره الكافرون

ওরা চায় র আলোককে তাদের মুখ দিয়ে নিভিয়ে দিতে। কিন্ত তাঁর আলোককে পূর্ণাঙ্গ করতেই যাচ্ছেন, যদিও অবিশ্বাসীরা অপছন্দ করে।

Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).

هو الذي أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون

তিনিই সেইজন যিনি তাঁর রসূলকে পাঠিয়েছেন পথনির্দেশ ও সত্য ধর্ম দিয়ে যেন তিনি একে প্রাধান্য দিতে পারেন ধর্মের - - তাদের সবক’টির উপরে, যদিও বহুখোদাবাদীরা অপছন্দ করে।

It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

يا أيها الذين آمنوا هل أدلكم على تجارة تنجيكم من عذاب أليم

ওহে যারা ঈমান এনেছ! আমি কি তোমাদের সন্ধান দেব এমন এক পণ্যদ্রব্যের যা তোমাদের উদ্ধার করবে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি থেকে?

O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty? -

تؤمنون بالله ورسوله وتجاهدون في سبيل الله بأموالكم وأنفسكم ۚ ذلكم خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون
জহুরুল হক
তোমরা তে ও তাঁর রসূলে বিশ্বাস করবে, আর র পথে সংগ্রাম করবে তোমাদের সম্পদ ও তোমাদের জীবন দিয়ে। এইটিই হচ্ছে তোমাদের জন্য শ্রেয় যদি তোমরা জানতে!

That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew!

يغفر لكم ذنوبكم ويدخلكم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار ومساكن طيبة في جنات عدن ۚ ذلك الفوز العظيم
জহুরুল হক
তিনি তোমাদের পরিত্রাণ করবেন তোমাদের দোষত্রুটি থেকে, আর তোমাদের প্রবেশ করাবেন জান্নাতে যাদের নিচে দিয়ে বয়ে চলেছে ঝরনারাজি, আর নন্দন কাননের উৎকৃষ্ট গৃহসমূহে। এটিই মহাসাফল্য!

He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement.

وأخرى تحبونها ۖ نصر من الله وفتح قريب ۗ وبشر المؤمنين

আর অন্য একটি যা তোমরা ভালবাস - - র কাছ থেকে সাহায্য ও আসন্ন বিজয়। আর সুসংবাদ দাও মুমিনদের।

And another (favour will He bestow,) which ye do love, - help from Allah and a speedy victory. So give the Glad Tidings to the Believers.

يا أيها الذين آمنوا كونوا أنصار الله كما قال عيسى ابن مريم للحواريين من أنصاري إلى الله ۖ قال الحواريون نحن أنصار الله ۖ فآمنت طائفة من بني إسرائيل وكفرت طائفة ۖ فأيدنا الذين آمنوا على عدوهم فأصبحوا ظاهرين

ওহে যারা ঈমান এনেছ! তোমরা র সাহায্যকারী হও, যেমন মরিয়ম - পুত্র ঈসা শিষ্যদের বলেছিলেন - - ''কারা র তরফে আমার সাহায্যকারী হবে?’’ শিষ্যেরা বলেছিল, ''আমরাই র সাহায্যকারী।’’ সুতরাং ইসরাইলের বংশধরদের মধ্যের একদল বিশ্বাস করেছিল এবং একদল অবিশ্বাস করেছিল। সেজন্য যারা ঈমান এনেছিল তাদের আমরা সাহায্য করেছিলাম তাদের শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধে, ফলে পরক্ষণেই তারা উপরহাত হয়েছিল।

O ye who believe! Be ye helpers of Allah: As said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples, "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples, "We are Allah's helpers!" then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed.
