And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Qur'an from one Wise and Knowing.

إذ قال موسى لأهله إني آنست نارا سآتيكم منها بخبر أو آتيكم بشهاب قبس لعلكم تصطلون

স্মরণ কর সেই সময়ের কথা, যখন মূসা তাহার পরিবারবর্গকে বলিয়াছিল, ‘আমি আগুন দেখিয়াছি, সত্বর আমি সেখান হইতে তোমাদের জন্য কোন খবর আনিব অথবা তোমাদের জন্য আনিব জ্বলন্ত অঙ্গার, যাহাতে তোমরা আগুন পোহাইতে পার।
[Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves."

فلما جاءها نودي أن بورك من في النار ومن حولها وسبحان الله رب العالمين

অতঃপর সে যখন উহার নিকট আসিল, তখন ঘোষিত হইল ‘ধন্য, যনিি আগুনরে স্থানে আছনে এবং যারা আগুনরে আশপোশে আছনে। বশ্বি জাহানরে পালনর্কতা পবত্রি ও মহমিান্বতি।
O Moses, indeed it is I - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

وألق عصاك ۚ فلما رآها تهتز كأنها جان ولى مدبرا ولم يعقب ۚ يا موسى لا تخف إني لا يخاف لدي المرسلون

‘তুমি তোমার লাঠি নিক্ষেপ কর।’ অতঃপর যখন সে উহাকে সর্পের ন্যায় ছুটাছুটি করিতে দেখিল তখন সে পিছনের দিকে ছুটিতে লাগিল এবং ফিরিয়াও তাকাইল না। বলা হইল, ‘হে মূসা! ভীত হইও না, নিশ্চয়ই আমি এমন, আমার সান্নিধ্যে রাসূলগণ ভয় পায় না;
And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear.

إلا من ظلم ثم بدل حسنا بعد سوء فإني غفور رحيم

‘তবে যাহারা জুলুম করিবার পর মন্দ কর্মের পরিবর্তে সৎকর্ম করে, তাহাদের প্রতি আমি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
And put your hand into the opening of your garment [at the breast]; it will come out white without disease. [These are] among the nine signs [you will take] to Pharaoh and his people. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient."

فلما جاءتهم آياتنا مبصرة قالوا هذا سحر مبين

অতঃপর যখন উহাদের নিকট আমার স্পষ্ট নিদর্শন আসিল, উহারা বলিল, ‘ইহা সুস্পষ্ট জাদু।’
And they rejected them, while their [inner] selves were convinced thereof, out of injustice and haughtiness. So see how was the end of the corrupters.

ولقد آتينا داوود وسليمان علما ۖ وقالا الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير من عباده المؤمنين

আমি অবশ্যই দাঊদ ও সুলায়মানকে জ্ঞান দান করিয়াছিলাম এবং তাহারা উভয়ে বলিয়াছিল, আল্লাহর প্রশংসা, যিনি আমাদরেকে তাঁর অনেক মুমনি বান্দার উপর শ্রষ্ঠেত্ব দান করছেনে।
And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge, and they said, "Praise [is due] to Allah, who has favored us over many of His believing servants."

وورث سليمان داوود ۖ وقال يا أيها الناس علمنا منطق الطير وأوتينا من كل شيء ۖ إن هذا لهو الفضل المبين

সুলায়মান হইয়াছিল দাঊদের উত্তরাধিকারী এবং সে বলিয়াছিল, ‘হে মানুষ! আমাকে বিহংগকুলের ভাষা শিক্ষা দেওয়া হইয়াছে এবং আমাকে সকল কিছু দেওয়া হইয়াছে, ইহা অবশ্যই সুস্পষ্ট অনুগ্রহ।’
And Solomon inherited David. He said, "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty."

وحشر لسليمان جنوده من الجن والإنس والطير فهم يوزعون

সুলায়মানের সম্মুখে সমবেত করা হইল তাহার বাহিনীকে জিন, মানুষ ও বিহংগকুলকে এবং উহাদেরকে বিন্যস্ত করা হইল বিভিন্ন ব্যূহে।
And gathered for Solomon were his soldiers of the jinn and men and birds, and they were [marching] in rows.

حتى إذا أتوا على واد النمل قالت نملة يا أيها النمل ادخلوا مساكنكم لا يحطمنكم سليمان وجنوده وهم لا يشعرون

যখন উহারা পিপীলিকা - অধ্যুষিত উপত্যকায় পৌঁছিল তখন এক পিপীলিকা বলিল, ‘হে পিপীলিকা - বাহিনী! তোমরা তোমাদের গৃহে প্রবেশ কর, যেন সুলায়মান এবং তাহার বাহিনী তাহাদের অজ্ঞাতসারে তোমাদেরকে পদতলে পিষিয়া না ফেলে।’
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not."

فتبسم ضاحكا من قولها وقال رب أوزعني أن أشكر نعمتك التي أنعمت علي وعلى والدي وأن أعمل صالحا ترضاه وأدخلني برحمتك في عبادك الصالحين

সুলায়মান উহার উক্তিতে মৃদু হাস্য করিল এবং বলিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! তুমি আমাকে সামর্থ্য দাও যাহাতে আমি তোমার প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করিতে পারি, আমার প্রতি ও আমার পিতামাতার প্রতি তুমি যে অনুগ্রহ করিয়াছ তাহার জন্য এবং যাহাতে আমি সৎকার্য করিতে পারি, যাহা তুমি পসন্দ কর এবং তোমার অনুগ্রহে আমাকে তোমার সৎকর্মপরায়ণ বান্দাদের শামিল কর।’
So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants."

وتفقد الطير فقال ما لي لا أرى الهدهد أم كان من الغائبين

সুলায়মান বিহংগদলের সন্ধান লইল এবং বলিল, ‘ব্যাপার কি, হুদ্ হুদকে দেখিতেছি না যে! সে অনুপস্থিত না কি?
But the hoopoe stayed not long and said, "I have encompassed [in knowledge] that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news.

I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah, and Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way, so they are not guided,

ألا يسجدوا لله الذي يخرج الخبء في السماوات والأرض ويعلم ما تخفون وما تعلنون

‘নিবৃত্ত করিয়াছে এইজন্য যে, উহারা যেন সিজ্দা না করে যিনি আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর লুক্কায়িত বস্তুকে প্রকাশ করেন, যিনি জানেন, যাহা তোমরা গোপন কর এবং যাহা তোমরা ব্যক্ত কর।
[And] so they do not prostrate to Allah, who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare -
So when they came to Solomon, he said, "Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift.

ارجع إليهم فلنأتينهم بجنود لا قبل لهم بها ولنخرجنهم منها أذلة وهم صاغرون

‘উহাদের নিকট ফিরিয়া যাও, আমি অবশ্যই উহাদের বিরুদ্ধে লইয়া আসিব এক সৈন্যবাহিনী যাহার মুকাবিলা করিবার শক্তি উহাদের নাই। আমি অবশ্যই উহাদেরকে সেখান হইতে বহিষ্কার করিব লাঞ্ছিতভাবে এবং উহারা হইবে অবনমিত।’
Return to them, for we will surely come to them with soldiers that they will be powerless to encounter, and we will surely expel them therefrom in humiliation, and they will be debased."

قال يا أيها الملأ أيكم يأتيني بعرشها قبل أن يأتوني مسلمين

সুলায়মান আরো বলিল, ‘হে আমার পরিষদবর্গ! তাহারা আত্মসমর্পণ করিয়া আমার নিকট আসিবার পূর্বে তোমাদের মধ্যে কে তাহার সিংহাসন আমার নিকট লইয়া আসিবে?’
A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy."

قال الذي عنده علم من الكتاب أنا آتيك به قبل أن يرتد إليك طرفك ۚ فلما رآه مستقرا عنده قال هذا من فضل ربي ليبلوني أأشكر أم أكفر ۖ ومن شكر فإنما يشكر لنفسه ۖ ومن كفر فإن ربي غني كريم

কিতাবের জ্ঞান যাহার ছিল, সে বলিল, ‘আপনি চক্ষুর পলক ফেলিবার পূর্বেই আমি উহা আপনাকে আনিয়া দিব।’ সুলায়মান যখন উহা সম্মুখে রক্ষিত অবস্থায় দেখিল তখন সে বলিল, ‘ইহা আমার প্রতিপালকের অনুগ্রহ, যাহাতে তিনি আমাকে পরীক্ষা করিতে পারেন - আমি কৃতজ্ঞ না অকৃতজ্ঞ। যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে, সে তো কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে নিজেরই কল্যাণের জন্য এবং যে অকৃতজ্ঞ, সে জানিয়া রাখুক যে, আমার প্রতিপালক অভাবমুক্ত, মহানুভব।’
Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you." And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, "This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous."

قال نكروا لها عرشها ننظر أتهتدي أم تكون من الذين لا يهتدون

সুলায়মান বলিল, ‘তাহার সিংহাসনের আকৃতি অপরিচিত করিয়া বদলাইয়া দাও; দেখি সে সঠিক দিশা পায়, না সে বিভ্রান্তদের শামিল হয়;
He said, "Disguise for her her throne; we will see whether she will be guided [to truth] or will be of those who is not guided."

فلما جاءت قيل أهكذا عرشك ۖ قالت كأنه هو ۚ وأوتينا العلم من قبلها وكنا مسلمين

সেই নারী যখন আসিল, তখন তাহাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হইল, ‘তোমার সিংহাসন কি এইরূপই?’ সে বলিল, ‘ইহা তো যেন উহাই।’ আমাদেরকে ইতিপূর্বেই প্রকৃত জ্ঞান দান করা হইয়াছে এবং আমরা আত্মসর্মপণও করিয়াছি।’
So when she arrived, it was said [to her], "Is your throne like this?" She said, "[It is] as though it was it." [Solomon said], "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allah].

وصدها ما كانت تعبد من دون الله ۖ إنها كانت من قوم كافرين

আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে সে যাহার পূজা করিত তাহাই তাহাকে সত্য হইতে নিবৃত্ত করিয়াছে, সে ছিল সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
And that which she was worshipping other than Allah had averted her [from submission to Him]. Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people."

قيل لها ادخلي الصرح ۖ فلما رأته حسبته لجة وكشفت عن ساقيها ۚ قال إنه صرح ممرد من قوارير ۗ قالت رب إني ظلمت نفسي وأسلمت مع سليمان لله رب العالمين

তাহাকে বলা হইল, ‘এই প্রাসাদে প্রবেশ কর।’ যখন সে উহা দেখিল তখন সে উহাকে এক গভীর জলাশয় মনে করিল এবং সে তাহার পদদ্বয় অনাবৃত করিল। সুলায়মান বলিল, ‘ইহা তো স্বচ্ছ স্ফটিক মণ্ডিত প্রাসাদ।’ সেই নারী বলিল, ‘হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমি তো নিজের প্রতি জুলুম করিয়াছিলাম, আমি সুলায়মানের সঙ্গে জগতসমূহের প্রতিপালক আল্লার নিকট আত্মসমর্পণকরিতেছি।’
She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds."

ولقد أرسلنا إلى ثمود أخاهم صالحا أن اعبدوا الله فإذا هم فريقان يختصمون

আমি অবশ্যই সামূদ সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট তাহাদের ভ্রাতা সালিহকে পাঠাইয়াছিলাম এই আদেশসহ তােমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। কিন্তু তারা দ্বিধাবিভক্ত হইয়া বিতর্কে লিপ্ত হইল।
And We had certainly sent to Thamud their brother Salih, [saying], "Worship Allah," and at once they were two parties conflicting.

قال يا قوم لم تستعجلون بالسيئة قبل الحسنة ۖ لولا تستغفرون الله لعلكم ترحمون

সে বলিল, ‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা কেন কল্যাণের পূর্বে অকল্যাণ ত্বরান্নিত করিতে চাহিতেছ? কেন তোমরা নিকট ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করিতেছ না, যাহাতে তোমরা অনুগ্রহভাজন হইতে পার?’
He said, "O my people, why are you impatient for evil instead of good? Why do you not seek forgiveness of Allah that you may receive mercy?"

قالوا اطيرنا بك وبمن معك ۚ قال طائركم عند الله ۖ بل أنتم قوم تفتنون

উহারা বলিল, ‘তোমাকে ও তোমার সঙ্গে যাহারা আছে তাহাদেরকে আমরা অমঙ্গলের কারণ মনে করি।’ সালিহ্ বলিল, ‘তোমাদের শুভাশুভ আল্লাহর ইখতিয়ারে, বস্তুত তোমরা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাহাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করা হইতেছে।’
And there were in the city nine family heads causing corruption in the land and not amending [its affairs].

قالوا تقاسموا بالله لنبيتنه وأهله ثم لنقولن لوليه ما شهدنا مهلك أهله وإنا لصادقون

উহারা বলিল, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহর নামে শপথ গ্রহণ কর, ‘আমরা রাত্রিকালে তাহাকে ও তাহার পরিবার - পরিজনকে অবশ্যই আক্রমণ করিব; অতঃপর তাহার অভিভাবককে নিশ্চয় বলিব,‘তাহার পরিবার - পরিজনের হত্যা আমরা প্রত্যক্ষ করি নাই; আমরা অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।’
They said, "Take a mutual oath by Allah that we will kill him by night, he and his family. Then we will say to his executor, 'We did not witness the destruction of his family, and indeed, we are truthful.' "

ومكروا مكرا ومكرنا مكرا وهم لا يشعرون

উহারা এক চক্রান্ত করিয়াছিল এবং আমিও এক কৌশল অবলম্বন করিলাম, কিন্তু উহারা বুঝিতে পারে নাই।
But the answer of his people was not except that they said, "Expel the family of Lot from your city. Indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure."

فأنجيناه وأهله إلا امرأته قدرناها من الغابرين

অতঃপর আমি তাহাকে ও তাহার পরিজনবর্গকে উদ্ধার করিলাম, তাহার স্ত্রী ব্যতীত, তাহাকে করিয়াছিলাম ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
Say, [O Muhammad], "Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better or what they associate with Him?"

أمن خلق السماوات والأرض وأنزل لكم من السماء ماء فأنبتنا به حدائق ذات بهجة ما كان لكم أن تنبتوا شجرها ۗ أإله مع الله ۚ بل هم قوم يعدلون

বরং তিনি, যিনি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী এবং আকাশ হইতে তোমাদের জন্য বর্ষণ করেন বৃষ্টি ; অতঃপর আমি উহা দ্বারা মনোরম উদ্যান সৃষ্টি করি, উহার বৃক্ষাদি উদ্গত করিবার ক্ষমতা তোমাদের নাই। আল্লাহর সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? তবুও উহারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাহারা সত্যবিচ্যুত হয়।
[More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].

أمن جعل الأرض قرارا وجعل خلالها أنهارا وجعل لها رواسي وجعل بين البحرين حاجزا ۗ أإله مع الله ۚ بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون

বরং তিনি, যিনি পৃথিবীকে করিয়াছেন বাসোপযোগী এবং উহার মাঝে মাঝে প্রবাহিত করিয়াছেন নদীনালা এবং উহাতে স্থাপন করিয়াছেন সুদৃঢ় পর্বত ও দুই দরিয়ার মধ্যে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন অন্তরায় ; সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? তবুও উহাদের অনেকেই জানে না।
Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but most of them do not know.

أمن يجيب المضطر إذا دعاه ويكشف السوء ويجعلكم خلفاء الأرض ۗ أإله مع الله ۚ قليلا ما تذكرون

বরং তিনি, যিনি আর্তের আহ্বানে সাড়া দেন, যখন সে তাঁহাকে ডাকে এবং বিপদ - আপদ দূরীভূত করেন এবং তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে প্রতিনিধি করেন। আল্লাহর সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? তোমরা উপদেশ অতি সামান্যই গ্রহণ করিয়া থাক।
Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember.

أمن يهديكم في ظلمات البر والبحر ومن يرسل الرياح بشرا بين يدي رحمته ۗ أإله مع الله ۚ تعالى الله عما يشركون

বরং তিনি, যিনি তোমাদেরকে স্থলের ও পানির অন্ধকারে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন এবং যিনি স্বীয় অনুগ্রহের প্রাক্কালে সুসংবাদবাহী বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন। সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? উহারা যাহাকে শরীক করে তাহা হইতে বহু উধ্বে।
Is He [not best] who guides you through the darknesses of the land and sea and who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy? Is there a deity with Allah? High is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.

أمن يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده ومن يرزقكم من السماء والأرض ۗ أإله مع الله ۚ قل هاتوا برهانكم إن كنتم صادقين

বরং তিনি, যিনি আদিতে সৃষ্টি করেন, অতঃপর উহার পুনরাবৃত্তি করিবেন এবং যিনি তোমাদেরকে আকাশ ও পৃথিবী হইতে জীবনোপকরণ দান করেন। আল্লাহর সঙ্গে অন্য কোন ইলাহ্ আছে কি? বল, ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে তোমাদের প্রমাণ পেশ কর।’
Is He [not best] who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heaven and earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful."

قل لا يعلم من في السماوات والأرض الغيب إلا الله ۚ وما يشعرون أيان يبعثون

বল, ব্যতীত আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে কেহই বিষয়ের জ্ঞান রাখে না এবং উহারা জানে না উহারা কখন উত্থিত হইবে।’
Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating.

وما أنت بهادي العمي عن ضلالتهم ۖ إن تسمع إلا من يؤمن بآياتنا فهم مسلمون

তুমি অন্ধদেরকে উহাদের পথভ্রষ্টতা হইতে পথে আনিতে পারিবে না। তুমি শোনাইতে পারিবে কেবল তাহাদেরকে, যাহারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলীতে বিশ্বাস করে। আর তাহারাই আত্মসর্মপণকারী।
And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah].

۞ وإذا وقع القول عليهم أخرجنا لهم دابة من الأرض تكلمهم أن الناس كانوا بآياتنا لا يوقنون

যখন ঘোষিত শাস্তি উহাদের নিকট আসিবে তখন আমি মৃত্তিকাগর্ভ হইতে বাহির করিব এক জীব, যাহা উহাদের সঙ্গে কথা বলিবে, এইজন্য যে, মানুষ আমার নিদর্শনে অবিশ্বাসী।
And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith].

ويوم نحشر من كل أمة فوجا ممن يكذب بآياتنا فهم يوزعون

স্মরণ কর সেই দিনের কথা, যেই দিন আমি সমবেত করিব প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায় হইতে একএকটি দলকে, যাহারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলী প্রত্যাখ্যান করিত আর উহাদেরকে সারিবদ্ধ করা হইবে।
And [warn of] the Day when We will gather from every nation a company of those who deny Our signs, and they will be [driven] in rows

حتى إذا جاءوا قال أكذبتم بآياتي ولم تحيطوا بها علما أماذا كنتم تعملون

যখন উহারা সমাগত হইবে তখন উহাদেরকে বলিবেন, ‘তোমরা কি আমার নিদর্শন প্রত্যাখ্যান করিয়াছিলে, অথচ উহা তোমরা জ্ঞানায়ত্ত করিতে পার নাই? বরং তোমরা আরও কিছু করিতেছিলে?’
Until, when they arrive [at the place of Judgement], He will say, "Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them not in knowledge, or what [was it that] you were doing?"

ووقع القول عليهم بما ظلموا فهم لا ينطقون

সীমালংঘন হেতু উহাদের উপর ঘোষিত শাস্তি আসিয়া পড়িবে; ফলে উহারা কিছুই বলিতে পারিবে না।
And the decree will befall them for the wrong they did, and they will not [be able to] speak.

ألم يروا أنا جعلنا الليل ليسكنوا فيه والنهار مبصرا ۚ إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يؤمنون

উহারা কি অনুধাবন করে না যে, আমি রাত্রি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছি উহাদের বিশ্রামের জন্য এবং দিবসকে করিয়াছি আলোকপ্রদ? ইহাতে সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য অবশ্যই নিদর্শন রহিয়াছে।
Do they not see that We made the night that they may rest therein and the day giving sight? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.

ويوم ينفخ في الصور ففزع من في السماوات ومن في الأرض إلا من شاء الله ۚ وكل أتوه داخرين
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং যেদিন শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেওয়া হইবে, সেই দিন আকাশমণ্ডলীর ও পৃথিবীর সকলেই ভীতবিহবল হইয়া পড়িবে, তবে যাহাদেরকে চাহিবেন তাহারা ব্যতীত এবং সকলেই তাঁহার নিকট আসিবে বিনীত অবস্থায়।
And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allah wills. And all will come to Him humbled.

وترى الجبال تحسبها جامدة وهي تمر مر السحاب ۚ صنع الله الذي أتقن كل شيء ۚ إنه خبير بما تفعلون
সমকালীন বাংলা
তুমি পর্বতমালা দেখিতেছ, মনে করিতেছ উহা অচল, অথচ উহারা হইবে মেঘপুঞ্জের ন্যায় সঞ্চরমাণ। ইহা আল্লাহর সৃষ্টি নৈপুণ্য, যিনি সমস্ত কিছুকে করিয়াছেন সুষম। তোমরা যাহা কর সে সম্বন্ধে তিনি সম্যক অবগত।
And you see the mountains, thinking them rigid, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Acquainted with that which you do.
Arabic
من جاء بالحسنة فله خير منها وهم من فزع يومئذ آمنون
সমকালীন বাংলা
যে কেহ সৎকর্ম লইয়া আসিবে, সে উহা হইতে উৎকৃষ্ট প্রতিফল পাইবে এবং সেই দিন উহারা শংকা হইতে নিরাপদ থাকিবে।
And whoever comes with an evil deed - their faces will be overturned into the Fire, [and it will be said], "Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?"
Arabic
إنما أمرت أن أعبد رب هذه البلدة الذي حرمها وله كل شيء ۖ وأمرت أن أكون من المسلمين
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি তো আদিষ্ট হইয়াছি এই নগরীর প্রভুর ‘ইবাদত করিতে, যিনি ইহাকে করিয়াছেন সম্মানিত। সমস্তকিছু তাঁহারই। আমি আরও আদিষ্ট হইয়াছি, যেন আমি আত্মসমর্পণকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হই।
[Say, O Muhammad], "I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [those who submit to Allah]
Arabic
وأن أتلو القرآن ۖ فمن اهتدى فإنما يهتدي لنفسه ۖ ومن ضل فقل إنما أنا من المنذرين
সমকালীন বাংলা
আমি আরও আদিষ্ট হইয়াছি, কুরআন তিলাওয়াত করিতে; অতএব যে ব্যক্তি সৎপথ অনুসরণ করে, সে সৎপথ অনুসরণ করে নিজেরই কল্যাণের জন্য। আর কেহ ভ্রান্তপথ অবলম্বন করিলে তুমি বলিও, ‘আমি তো কেবল সতর্ককারীদের মধ্যে একজন।’
And to recite the Qur'an." And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays - say, "I am only [one] of the warners."
আর বল, ‘সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহর তিনি তোমাদেরকে সত্বর দেখাইবেন তাঁহার নিদর্শন; তখন তোমরা উহা বুঝিতে পারিবে।’ তোমরা যাহা কর সে সম্বন্ধে তোমার প্রতিপালক গাফিল নন।
