Chapter 48, 29 verses
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم إنا فتحنا لك فتحا مبينا
Verily We have granted thee a manifest Victory:
নিশ্চয়ই আমি তোমাকে দিয়াছি সুস্পষ্ট বিজয়,
ليغفر لك الله ما تقدم من ذنبك وما تأخر ويتم نعمته عليك ويهديك صراطا مستقيما
That Allah may forgive thee thy faults of the past and those to follow; fulfil His favour to thee; and guide thee on the Straight Way;
যেন তোমার অতীত ও ভবিষ্যত ত্রুটিসমূহ মার্জনা করেন এবং তোমার প্রতি তাঁহার অনুগ্রহ পূর্ণ করেন ও তোমাকে সরল পথে পরিচালিত করেন,
وينصرك الله نصرا عزيزا
And that Allah may help thee with powerful help.
এবং তোমাকে বলিষ্ঠ সাহায্য দান করেন।
هو الذي أنزل السكينة في قلوب المؤمنين ليزدادوا إيمانا مع إيمانهم ۗ ولله جنود السماوات والأرض ۚ وكان الله عليما حكيما
It is He Who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the Believers, that they may add faith to their faith; - for to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom; -
তিনিই মু’মিনদের অন্তরে প্রশান্তি দান করেন যেন তাহারা তাহাদের ঈমানের সঙ্গে ঈমান দৃঢ় করিয়া নেয়, আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর বাহিনীসমূহ রই এবং র্সবজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
ليدخل المؤمنين والمؤمنات جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها ويكفر عنهم سيئاتهم ۚ وكان ذلك عند الله فوزا عظيما
That He may admit the men and women who believe, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein for aye, and remove their ills from them; - and that is, in the sight of Allah, the highest achievement (for man), -
ইহা এইজন্য যে, তিনি পুরুষ ও নারীদেরকে দাখিল করিবেন জান্নাতে যাহার নিম্নদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, যেখানে তাহারা স্থায়ী হইবে এবং তিনি তাহাদের পাপ মোচন করিবেন ; ইহাই র দৃষ্টিতে মহাসাফল্য।
ويعذب المنافقين والمنافقات والمشركين والمشركات الظانين بالله ظن السوء ۚ عليهم دائرة السوء ۖ وغضب الله عليهم ولعنهم وأعد لهم جهنم ۖ وساءت مصيرا
And that He may punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Polytheists men and women, who imagine an evil opinion of Allah. On them is a round of Evil: the Wrath of Allah is on them: He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them: and evil is it for a destination.
আর তিনি মুনাফিক পুরুষ ও মুনাফিক নারী, মুশরিক পুরুষ ও মুশরিক নারী যাহারা সম্বন্ধে মন্দ ধারণা পোষণ করে তাহাদেরকে শাস্তি দিবেন। অমঙ্গল চক্র উহাদের জন্য, উহাদের প্রতি রুষ্ট হইয়াছেন এবং উহাদেরকে লা‘নত করিয়াছেন এবং উহাদের জন্য জাহান্নাম প্রস্তুত রাখিয়াছেন, উহা কত নিকৃষ্ট আবাস!
ولله جنود السماوات والأرض ۚ وكان الله عزيزا حكيما
For to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.
আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর বাহিণীসমূহ রই এবং পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
إنا أرسلناك شاهدا ومبشرا ونذيرا
We have truly sent thee as a witness, as a bringer of Glad Tidings, and as a Warner:
আমি তোমাকে প্রেরণ করিয়াছি সাক্ষীরূপে, সুসংবাদদাতা ও সতর্ককারীরূপে,
لتؤمنوا بالله ورسوله وتعزروه وتوقروه وتسبحوه بكرة وأصيلا
In order that ye (O men) may believe in Allah and His Messenger, that ye may assist and honour Him, and celebrate His praise morning and evening.
যাহাতে তোমরা ও তাঁহার রাসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আন এবং রাসূলকে শক্তি যোগাও ও তাহাকে সম্মান কর ; সকাল - সন্ধ্যায় র পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘােষণা কর।
إن الذين يبايعونك إنما يبايعون الله يد الله فوق أيديهم ۚ فمن نكث فإنما ينكث على نفسه ۖ ومن أوفى بما عاهد عليه الله فسيؤتيه أجرا عظيما
Verily those who plight their fealty to thee do no less than plight their fealty to Allah: the Hand of Allah is over their hands: then any one who violates his oath, does so to the harm of his own soul, and any one who fulfils what he has covenanted with Allah, - Allah will soon grant him a great Reward.
যাহারা তোমার হাতে বায়‘আত করে তাহারা তো রই হাতে বায়‘আত করে। র হাত তাহাদের হাতের উপর। অতঃপর যে উহা ভঙ্গ করে, উহা ভঙ্গ করিবার পরিণাম তাহারই এবং যে র সঙ্গে অঙ্গীকার র্পূণ করে তিনি অবশ্যই তাহাকে মহাপুরস্কার দিবেন।
سيقول لك المخلفون من الأعراب شغلتنا أموالنا وأهلونا فاستغفر لنا ۚ يقولون بألسنتهم ما ليس في قلوبهم ۚ قل فمن يملك لكم من الله شيئا إن أراد بكم ضرا أو أراد بكم نفعا ۚ بل كان الله بما تعملون خبيرا
The desert Arabs who lagged behind will say to thee: "We were engaged in (looking after) our flocks and herds, and our families: do thou then ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: "Who then has any power at all (to intervene) on your behalf with Allah, if His Will is to give you some loss or to give you some profit? But Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.
যে সকল মরুবাসী পশ্চাতে রহিয়া গিয়াছে তাহারা তোমাকে বলিবে, ‘আমাদের ধন - সম্পদ ও পরিবার - পরিজন আমাদেরকে ব্যস্ত রাখিয়াছে, অতএব আমাদের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করুন।’ উহারা মুখে তাহা বলে যাহা উহাদের অন্তরে নাই। উহাদেরকে বল,’ তোমাদের কাহারও কোন ক্ষতি কিংবা মঙ্গল সাধনের ইচ্ছা করিলে কে তাঁহাকে নিবৃত্ত করিতে পারে? বস্তুত তোমরা যাহা কর সে বিষয়ে সম্যক অবহিত।’
بل ظننتم أن لن ينقلب الرسول والمؤمنون إلى أهليهم أبدا وزين ذلك في قلوبكم وظننتم ظن السوء وكنتم قوما بورا
"Nay, ye thought that the Messenger and the Believers would never return to their families; this seemed pleasing in your hearts, and ye conceived an evil thought, for ye are a people lost (in wickedness)."
না, তোমরা ধারণা করিয়াছিলে যে, রাসূল ও মু’মিনগণ তাহাদের পরিবার - পরিজনের নিকট কখনই ফিরিয়া আসিতে পারিবে না এবং এই ধারণা তোমাদের অন্তরে প্রীতিকর মনে হইয়াছিল; তোমরা মন্দ ধারণা করিয়াছিলে, তোমরা তো ধ্বংসমুখী এক সম্প্রদায় !
ومن لم يؤمن بالله ورسوله فإنا أعتدنا للكافرين سعيرا
And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire!
যাহারা ও তাঁহার রাসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনে না, আমি সেই সব কাফিরের জন্য জ্বলন্ত অগ্নি প্রস্তুত রাখিয়াছি।
ولله ملك السماوات والأرض ۚ يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء ۚ وكان الله غفورا رحيما
To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills: but Allah is Oft - Forgiving, Most Merciful.
আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সর্বময় কর্তৃত্ব রই, তিনি যাহাকে ইচ্ছা ক্ষমা করেন এবং যাহাকে ইচ্ছা শাস্তি দেন। তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
سيقول المخلفون إذا انطلقتم إلى مغانم لتأخذوها ذرونا نتبعكم ۖ يريدون أن يبدلوا كلام الله ۚ قل لن تتبعونا كذلكم قال الله من قبل ۖ فسيقولون بل تحسدوننا ۚ بل كانوا لا يفقهون إلا قليلا
Those who lagged behind (will say), when ye (are free to) march and take booty (in war): "Permit us to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say: "Not thus will ye follow us: Allah has already declared (this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such things).
তোমরা যখন যুদ্ধলব্ধ সম্পদ সংগ্রহের জন্য যাইবে তখন যাহারা পশ্চাতে রহিয়া গিয়াছিল তাহারা বলিবে, ‘আমাদেরকে তোমাদের সঙ্গে যাইতে দাও।’ উহারা র প্রতিশ্রুতি পরিবর্তন করিতে চায়। বল, ‘তোমরা কিছুইতেই আমাদের সঙ্গী হইতে পারিবে না। পূর্বেই এইরূপ ঘোষণা করিয়াছেন।’ উহারা অবশ্যই বলিবে, ‘তোমরা তো আমাদের প্রতি বিদ্বেষ পোষণ করিতেছ।’ বস্তুত উহাদের বোধশক্তি সামন্য।
قل للمخلفين من الأعراب ستدعون إلى قوم أولي بأس شديد تقاتلونهم أو يسلمون ۖ فإن تطيعوا يؤتكم الله أجرا حسنا ۖ وإن تتولوا كما توليتم من قبل يعذبكم عذابا أليما
Say to the desert Arabs who lagged behind: "Ye shall be summoned (to fight) against a people given to vehement war: then shall ye fight, or they shall submit. Then if ye show obedience, Allah will grant you a goodly reward, but if ye turn back as ye did before, He will punish you with a grievous Penalty."
যেসব মরুবাসী পশ্চাতে রহিয়া গিয়াছিল তাহাদেরক বল, ‘তোমরা আহুত হইবে এক প্রবল - পরাক্রান্ত জাতির বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করিতে; তোমরা উহাদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করিবে যতক্ষণ না উহারা আত্মসমর্পণ করে করে। তোমরা এই নির্দেশ পালন করিলে তোমাদেরকে উত্তম পুরস্কার দান করিবেন। আর তোমরা যদি পূর্বানুরূপ পৃষ্ঠা প্রদর্শন কর, তিনি তোমাদেরকে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি দিবেন।
ليس على الأعمى حرج ولا على الأعرج حرج ولا على المريض حرج ۗ ومن يطع الله ورسوله يدخله جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار ۖ ومن يتول يعذبه عذابا أليما
No blame is there on the blind, nor is there blame on the lame, nor on one ill (if he joins not the war): But he that obeys Allah and his Messenger, - (Allah) will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and he who turns back, (Allah) will punish him with a grievous Penalty.
অন্ধের জন্য কোন অপরাধ নাই, খঞ্জের জন্য কোন অপরাধ নাই এবং পীড়িতের জন্য কোন অপরাধ নাই; এবং যে কেহ ও তাঁহার রাসূলের আনুগত্য করিবে তাহাকে দাখিল করিবেন জান্নাতে, যাহার নিম্নদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত; কিন্তু যে ব্যক্তি পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করিবে তিনি তাহাকে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি দিবেন।
۞ لقد رضي الله عن المؤمنين إذ يبايعونك تحت الشجرة فعلم ما في قلوبهم فأنزل السكينة عليهم وأثابهم فتحا قريبا
Allah's Good Pleasure was on the Believers when they swore Fealty to thee under the Tree: He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down Tranquillity to them; and He rewarded them with a speedy Victory;
তো মু’মিনগণের উপর সন্তুষ্ট হইলেন যখন তাহারা বৃক্ষতলে তোমার নিকট বায়‘আত গ্রহণ করিল, তাহাদের অন্তরে যাহা ছিল তাহা তিনি অবগত ছিলেন; তাহাদেরকে তিনি দান করিলেন প্রশান্তি এবং তাহাদেরকে পুরস্কার দিলেন আসন্ন বিজয়
ومغانم كثيرة يأخذونها ۗ وكان الله عزيزا حكيما
And many gains will they acquire (besides): and Allah is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.
ও বিপুল পরিমাণ যুদ্ধে লভ্য সম্পদ, যাহা উহারা হস্তগত করিবে ; পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
وعدكم الله مغانم كثيرة تأخذونها فعجل لكم هذه وكف أيدي الناس عنكم ولتكون آية للمؤمنين ويهديكم صراطا مستقيما
Allah has promised you many gains that ye shall acquire, and He has given you these beforehand; and He has restrained the hands of men from you; that it may be a Sign for the Believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path;
তোমাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়াছেন যুদ্ধে লভ্য বিপুল সম্পদের যাহার অধিকারী হইবে তোমরা। তিনি ইহা তোমাদের জন্য ত্বরান্বিত করিয়াছেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের হইতে মানুষের হস্ত নিবারিত করিয়াছেন যেন ইহা হয় মু’মিনদের জন্য এক নিদর্শন এবং তোমাদেরকে পরিচালিত করেন সরল পথে;
وأخرى لم تقدروا عليها قد أحاط الله بها ۚ وكان الله على كل شيء قديرا
And other gains (there are), which are not within your power, but which Allah has compassed: and Allah has power over all things.
এবং আরও রহিয়াছে যাহা এখনও তোমাদের অধিকারে আসে নাই, উহা তো আয়ত্তে রাখিয়াছেন। র্সববিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান।
ولو قاتلكم الذين كفروا لولوا الأدبار ثم لا يجدون وليا ولا نصيرا
If the Unbelievers should fight you, they would certainly turn their backs; then would they find neither protector nor helper.
কাফিররা তোমাদের মুকাবিলা করিলে উহারা অবশ্যই পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করিত, তখন উহারা কোন অভিভাবক ও সাহায্য - কারী পাইত না।
سنة الله التي قد خلت من قبل ۖ ولن تجد لسنة الله تبديلا
(Such has been) the practice (approved) of Allah already in the past: no change wilt thou find in the practice (approved) of Allah.
ইহাই র বিধান - প্রাচীন কাল হইতে চলিয়া আসিতেছে, তুমি র বিধানে কোন পরিবর্তন পাইবে না।
وهو الذي كف أيديهم عنكم وأيديكم عنهم ببطن مكة من بعد أن أظفركم عليهم ۚ وكان الله بما تعملون بصيرا
And it is He Who has restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makka, after that He gave you the victory over them. And Allah sees well all that ye do.
তিনি মক্কা উপত্যকায় উহাদের হস্ত তোমাদের হইতে এবং তোমাদের হস্ত উহাদের হইতে নিবারিত করিয়াছেন, উহাদের উপর তোমাদেরকে বিজয়ী করিবার পর, তোমরা যাহা কিছু কর তাহা দেখেন।
هم الذين كفروا وصدوكم عن المسجد الحرام والهدي معكوفا أن يبلغ محله ۚ ولولا رجال مؤمنون ونساء مؤمنات لم تعلموهم أن تطئوهم فتصيبكم منهم معرة بغير علم ۖ ليدخل الله في رحمته من يشاء ۚ لو تزيلوا لعذبنا الذين كفروا منهم عذابا أليما
They are the ones who denied Revelation and hindered you from the Sacred Mosque and the sacrificial animals, detained from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom ye did not know that ye were trampling down and on whose account a crime would have accrued to you without (your) knowledge, (Allah would have allowed you to force your way, but He held back your hands) that He may admit to His Mercy whom He will. If they had been apart, We should certainly have punished the Unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment.
উহারাই তো করিয়াছিল এবং নিবৃত্ত করিয়াছিল তোমাদেরকে মসজিদুল - হারাম হইতে ও বাধা দিয়াছিল কুরবানীর জন্য আবদ্ধ পশুগুলিকে যথাস্থানে পৌঁছিতে। তোমাদেরকে যুদ্ধের আদেশ দেওয়া হইত যদি না থাকিত এমন কতক নর ও নারী যাহাদেরকে তোমরা জান না, তোমরা তাহাদেরকে পদদলিত করিতে অজ্ঞাতসারে, ফলে তাহাদের কারণে তোমরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হইতে। যুদ্ধের নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয় নাই এইজন্য যে, তিনি যাহাকে ইচ্ছা নিজ অনুগ্রহ দান করিবেন। যদি উহারা পৃথক হইত, আমি উহাদের মধ্যে কাফিরদেরকে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি দিতাম।
إذ جعل الذين كفروا في قلوبهم الحمية حمية الجاهلية فأنزل الله سكينته على رسوله وعلى المؤمنين وألزمهم كلمة التقوى وكانوا أحق بها وأهلها ۚ وكان الله بكل شيء عليما
While the Unbelievers got up in their hearts heat and cant - the heat and cant of ignorance, - Allah sent down His Tranquillity to his Messenger and to the Believers, and made them stick close to the command of self - restraint; and well were they entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allah has full knowledge of all things.
যখন কাফিররা তাহাদের অন্তরে পোষণ করিত গোত্রীয় অহমিকা - অজ্ঞতার যুগের অহমিকা, তখন তাঁহার রাসূল ও মু’মিনদেরকে স্বীয় প্রশান্তি দান করিলেন ; আর তাহাদেরকে তাক্ওয়ার বাক্যে সুদৃঢ় করিলেন, এবং তাহারাই ছিল ইহার অধিকতর যোগ্য ও উপযুক্ত। সর্ববিষয়ে সম্যক জ্ঞান রাখেন।
لقد صدق الله رسوله الرؤيا بالحق ۖ لتدخلن المسجد الحرام إن شاء الله آمنين محلقين رءوسكم ومقصرين لا تخافون ۖ فعلم ما لم تعلموا فجعل من دون ذلك فتحا قريبا
Truly did Allah fulfil the vision for His Messenger: ye shall enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, with minds secure, heads shaved, hair cut short, and without fear. For He knew what ye knew not, and He granted, besides this, a speedy victory.
নিশ্চয়ই তাঁহার রাসূলকে স্বপ্নটি যথাযথভাবে বাস্তবায়ন করিয়া দেখাইয়াছেন, র ইচ্ছায় তোমরা অবশ্যই মস্জিদুল - হারামে প্রবেশ করিবে নিরাপদে - তোমাদের কেহ কেহ মস্তক মুণ্ডিত করিবে আর কেহ কেহ কেশ কর্তন করিবে। তোমাদের কোন ভয় থাকিবে না। জানেন তোমরা যাহা জান না। ইহা ছাড়াও তিনি তোমাদেরকে দিয়াছেন এক সদ্য বিজয়।
هو الذي أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ۚ وكفى بالله شهيدا
It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.
তিনিই তাঁহার রাসূলকে পথনির্দেশ ও সত্য দীনসহ প্রেরণ করিয়াছেন, অপর সমস্ত দীনের উপর ইহাকে জয়যুক্ত করিবার জন্য। আর সাক্ষী হিসাবে ই যথেষ্ট।
محمد رسول الله ۚ والذين معه أشداء على الكفار رحماء بينهم ۖ تراهم ركعا سجدا يبتغون فضلا من الله ورضوانا ۖ سيماهم في وجوههم من أثر السجود ۚ ذلك مثلهم في التوراة ۚ ومثلهم في الإنجيل كزرع أخرج شطأه فآزره فاستغلظ فاستوى على سوقه يعجب الزراع ليغيظ بهم الكفار ۗ وعد الله الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات منهم مغفرة وأجرا عظيما
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.
মুহাম্মদ র রাসূল ; তাঁহার সহচরগণ কাফিরদের প্রতি কঠোর এবং নিজেদের মধ্যে পরস্পরের প্রতি সহানুভূতিশীল ; র অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনায় তুমি তাহাদেরকে রুকূ‘ ও সিজ্দায় অবনত দেখিবে। তাহাদের লক্ষণ তাহাদের মুখমণ্ডলে সিজ্দার প্রভাবে পরিস্ফুটিত থাকিবে ; তাওরাতে তাহাদের বর্ণনা এইরূপ এবং ইঞ্জীলেও তাহাদের বর্ণনা এইরূপই। তাহাদের দৃষ্টান্ত একটি চারাগাছ, যাহা হইতে নির্গত হয় কিশলয়, অতঃপর ইহা শক্ত ও পুষ্ট হয় এবং পরে কাণ্ডের উপর দাঁড়ায় দৃঢ়ভাবে যাহা চাষীর জন্য আনন্দদায়ক। এইভাবে মু’মিনদের সমৃদ্ধি দ্বারা কাফিরদের অন্তর্জ্বালা সৃষ্টি করেন। যাহারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে তাহাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়াছেন ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কারের।
