Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. By the declining day,

মহাকালের শপথ,

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَصْرِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সময়ের শপথ।
Pickthall
Lo! man is a state of loss,

মানুষ অবশ্যই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত,

إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অবশ্যি মানুষ রয়েছে নিশ্চিত ক্ষতির মধ্যে।
Pickthall
Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.
ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন
কিন্তু উহারা নয়, যাহারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং পরস্পরকে সত্যের উপদেশ দেয় ও ধৈর্যের উপদেশ দেয়।

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তবে তারা নয়, যারা ঈমান আনে, আমলে সালেহ্ করে, একে অপরকে সত্যের প্রতি অসিয়ত করে (উপদেশ দেয়) এবং (সত্যের উপর) ধৈর্যের সাথে অটল থাকার অসিয়ত করে।
