Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain.
জহুরুল হক
ঘড়িঘন্টা সমাগত, আর চন্দ্র দ্বিখন্ডিত হয়েছে।
Saheeh International
The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].

ٱقْتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلْقَمَرُ
Pickthall
And if they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion.
জহুরুল হক
আর যদি তারা কোনো নিদর্শন দেখে, তারা ফিরে যায় ও বলে - - ''এক জবরদস্ত জাদু।’’
Saheeh International
And if they see a miracle, they turn away and say, "Passing magic."

وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ ءَايَةً يُعْرِضُوا۟ وَيَقُولُوا۟ سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ
Pickthall
They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts. Yet everything will come to a decision

আর তারা প্রত্যাখ্যান করে এবং তারা তাদের খেয়ালখুশির অনুসরণ করে, অথচ প্রত্যেক বিষয়েরই নিস্পত্তি হয়েই গেছে।
Saheeh International
And they denied and followed their inclinations. But for every matter is a [time of] settlement.

وَكَذَّبُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ
Pickthall
And surely there hath come unto them news whereof the purport should deter,
জহুরুল হক
আর তাদের কাছে অবশ্য কিছুটা সংবাদ এসেই গেছে যাতে রয়েছে প্রতিষেধক - -
Saheeh International
And there has already come to them of information that in which there is deterrence -

وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ
Pickthall
Effective wisdom; but warnings avail not.
জহুরুল হক
এক সুপরিণত জ্ঞান, কিন্তু এ সতর্কীকরণ কোনো কাজে আসে না।
Saheeh International
Extensive wisdom - but warning does not avail [them].

حِكْمَةٌۢ بَٰلِغَةٌ فَمَا تُغْنِ ٱلنُّذُرُ
Pickthall
So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) on the day when the Summoner summoneth unto a painful thing.
জহুরুল হক
কাজেই তাদের থেকে ফিরে এস। একদিন আহ্বানকারী আহ্বান করবেন এক অপ্রীতিকর ব্যাপারের প্রতি - -
Saheeh International
So leave them, [O Muhammad]. The Day the Caller calls to something forbidding,

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَىْءٍ نُّكُرٍ
Pickthall
With downcast eyes, they come forth from the graves as they were locusts spread abroad,
জহুরুল হক
তাদের চোখ অবনত অবস্থায়, তারা বেরিয়ে আসতে থাকবে কবর থেকে যেন তারা ছড়িয়ে পড়া পঙ্গপাল - -
Saheeh International
Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading,

خُشَّعًا أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ
Pickthall
Hastening toward the summoner; the disbelievers say: This is a hard day.
জহুরুল হক
ওরা আহবায়কের প্রতি ছুটে আসবে। অবিশ্বাসীরা বলবে - - ''এইটি বড় কঠিন দিন!’’
Saheeh International
Racing ahead toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a difficult Day."

مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِ يَقُولُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ
Pickthall
The folk of Noah denied before them, yea, they denied Our slave and said: A madman; and he was repulsed.
জহুরুল হক
এদের আগে নূহ - এর লোকদল সত্যপ্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল, ফলে তারা আমাদের বান্দাকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করল ও বললে - - ''এক টি পাগল’’! আর তাঁকে অবজ্ঞা করা হয়েছিল।
Saheeh International
The people of Noah denied before them, and they denied Our servant and said, "A madman," and he was repelled.

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا۟ عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا۟ مَجْنُونٌ وَٱزْدُجِرَ
Pickthall
So he cried unto his Lord, saying: I am vanquished, so give help.
জহুরুল হক
সেজন্য তিনি তাঁর প্রভুকে ডেকে বললেন - - ''আমি তো পরাভূত হয়ে পড়েছি, অতএব তুমি সাহায্য করো।’’
Saheeh International
So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help."

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَغْلُوبٌ فَٱنتَصِرْ
Pickthall
Then opened We the gates of heaven with pouring water
জহুরুল হক
তখন আমরা আসমানের দরজাগুলো খুলে দিলাম বর্ষণশীল পানির দ্বারা,
Saheeh International
Then We opened the gates of the heaven with rain pouring down

فَفَتَحْنَآ أَبْوَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ
Pickthall
And caused the earth to gush forth springs, so that the waters met for a predestined purpose.
জহুরুল হক
আর জমিনকে উৎক্ষেপ করতে দিলাম ঝরনাধারায়, ফলে পানি মিলিত হয়ে গেল এক পূর্বনির্ধারিত ব্যাপারে,
Saheeh International
And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined.

وَفَجَّرْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَٱلْتَقَى ٱلْمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ
Pickthall
And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails,
জহুরুল হক
আর আমরা তাঁকে বহন করলাম তাতে যা ছিল তক্তা ও পেরেক সন্বলিত, - -

And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails,

وَحَمَلْنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَٰحٍ وَدُسُرٍ
Pickthall
That ran (upon the waters) in Our sight, as a reward for him who was rejected.
জহুরুল হক
তা ভেসে চলেছিল আমাদের চোখের সামনে, - - এক প্রতিদান তাঁর জন্য যাঁকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করা হয়েছিল।
Saheeh International
Sailing under Our observation as reward for he who had been denied.

تَجْرِى بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَآءً لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ
Pickthall
And verily We left it as a token; but is there any that remembereth ?
জহুরুল হক
আর আমরা অবশ্য এটিকে রেখে দিয়েছি এক নিদর্শনরূপে। কিন্তু কেউ কি রয়েছে উপদেশপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত?
Saheeh International
And We left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember?

وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَٰهَآ ءَايَةً فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
Pickthall
Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!
জহুরুল হক
সুতরাং কেমন হয়েছিল আমার শাস্তি ও আমার সতর্কীকরণ!
Saheeh International
And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.

فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ
Pickthall
And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth ?
জহুরুল হক
আর আমরা তো অবশ্যই কুরআনকে উপদেশগ্রহণের জন্য সহজবোধ্য করে দিয়েছি, কিন্তু কেউ কি আছে যে উপদেশপ্রাপ্তদের মধ্যেকার?
Saheeh International
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
Pickthall
(The tribe of) A'ad rejected warnings. Then how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings.
জহুরুল হক
আর 'আদ - জাতি সত্যপ্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল, কাজেই কেমন হয়েছিল আমার শাস্তি ও আমার সতর্কীকরণ!
Saheeh International
'Aad denied; and how [severe] were My punishment and warning.

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ
Pickthall
Lo! We let loose on them a raging wind on a day of constant calamity,
জহুরুল হক
নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা তাদের উপরে এক চরম দুর্ভাগ্যের দিনে পাঠিয়েছিলাম এক প্রচন্ড ঝড় - তোফান,
Saheeh International
Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune,

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِى يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ
Pickthall
Sweeping men away as though they were uprooted trunks of palm - trees.
জহুরুল হক
যা মানুষকে উড়িয়ে নিয়েছিল, যেন তারা ছিল উৎপাটিত খেজুরগাছের গুঁড়ি।
Saheeh International
Extracting the people as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted.

تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ
Pickthall
Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!
জহুরুল হক
সুতরাং কেমন হয়েছিল আমার শাস্তি ও আমার সতর্কীকরণ?
Saheeh International
And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.

Pickthall
And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth ?
জহুরুল হক
কাজেই আমরা আলবৎ কুরআনকে উপদেশ গ্রহণের জন্য সহজবোধ্য করে দিয়েছি, কিন্তু কেউ কি হবে উপদেশপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত?
Saheeh International
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
Pickthall
(The tribe of) Thamud rejected warnings
জহুরুল হক
ছামুদ - জাতিও সতর্কীকরণ প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল।
Saheeh International
Thamud denied the warning

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Pickthall
For they said; Is it a mortal man, alone among us, that we are to follow ? Then indeed we should fall into error and madness.
জহুরুল হক
কাজেই তারা বলেছিল - - ''কী! আমাদের মধ্যেকার মানুষই একজন, তাকেই কি আমরা অনুসরণ করব? সেক্ষেত্রে আমরা তো নিশ্চয়ই বিপথগামী হব ও পাগলামিতে পড়ব।
Saheeh International
And said, "Is it one human being among us that we should follow? Indeed, we would then be in error and madness.

فَقَالُوٓا۟ أَبَشَرًا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَٰلٍ وَسُعُرٍ
Pickthall
Hath the remembrance been given unto him alone among us ? Nay, but he is a rash liar.
জহুরুল হক
''আমাদের মধ্যে থেকে স্মারক কি তার উপরেই পতিত হল? বস্তুত সে একজন ডাহা মিথ্যাবাদী, দাম্ভিক।’’
Saheeh International
Has the message been sent down upon him from among us? Rather, he is an insolent liar."

أَءُلْقِىَ ٱلذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ
Pickthall
(Unto their warner it was said): To - morrow they will know who is the rash liar.
জহুরুল হক
কালকেই তারা ত্বরায় জানতে পারবে কে মিথ্যুক, কে দাম্ভিক।
Saheeh International
They will know tomorrow who is the insolent liar.

سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدًا مَّنِ ٱلْكَذَّابُ ٱلْأَشِرُ
Pickthall
Lo! We are sending the she - camel as a test for them; so watch them and have patience;
জহুরুল হক
নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা একটি উষ্ট্রিকে পাঠাতে যাচ্ছি তাদের জন্য পরীক্ষাস্বরূপ, সেজন্য তাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রাখো এবং ধৈর্যধারণ করো।
Saheeh International
Indeed, We are sending the she - camel as trial for them, so watch them and be patient.

إِنَّا مُرْسِلُوا۟ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ فَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْ وَٱصْطَبِرْ
Pickthall
And inform them that the water is to be shared between (her and) them. Every drinking will be witnessed.
জহুরুল হক
আর তাদের জানিয়ে দাও যে পানির ক্ষেত্রে তাদের মধ্যে ভাগাভাগি রয়েছে, প্রত্যেক জলপানে হাজিরা থাকবে।
Saheeh International
And inform them that the water is shared between them, each [day of] drink attended [by turn].

وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلْمَآءَ قِسْمَةٌۢ بَيْنَهُمْ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ
Pickthall
But they call their comrade and he took and hamstrung (her).
জহুরুল হক
কিন্তু তারা তাদের সেঙাৎকে ডাক দিল, তখন সে ধরল ও কেটে ফেলল।
Saheeh International
But they called their companion, and he dared and hamstrung [her].

فَنَادَوْا۟ صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ
Pickthall
Then see how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings!
জহুরুল হক
পরিণামে কেমন হয়েছিল আমার শাস্তি ও আমার সতর্কীকরণ!
Saheeh International
And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.

فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ
Pickthall
Lo! We sent upon them one Shout, and they became as the dry twigs (rejected by) the builder of a cattle - fold.
জহুরুল হক
আমরা অবশ্যই তাদের উপরে পাঠিয়েছিলাম একটিমাত্র মহাগর্জন, ফলে তারা হয়ে গেল খোঁয়াড় - প্রস্তুতকারীর শুকনো - ভাঙ্গা ডালপালার ন্যায়।
Saheeh International
Indeed, We sent upon them one blast from the sky, and they became like the dry twig fragments of an [animal] pen.

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَكَانُوا۟ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلْمُحْتَظِرِ
Pickthall
And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth ?
জহুরুল হক
আর আমরা নিশ্চয়ই কুরআনকে উপদেশ - গ্রহণের জন্য সহজবোধ্য করে দিয়েছি, কিন্তু কেউ কি রয়েছে উপদেশপ্রাপ্তদের অন্যতম?
Saheeh International
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
Pickthall
The folk of Lot rejected warnings.
জহুরুল হক
লুত - এর লোকদলও সতর্কীকরণ প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল।
Saheeh International
The people of Lot denied the warning.

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍۭ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Pickthall
Lo! We sent a storm of stones upon them (all) save the family of Lot, whom We rescued in the last watch of the night,
জহুরুল হক
নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা তাদের উপরে পাঠিয়েছিলাম এক পাথর বর্ষণকারী ঝড়, - - লুত - এর পরিজনদের ব্যতীত, আমরা তাদের উদ্ধার করেছিলাম শেষরাতে - -
Saheeh International
Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We saved them before dawn

إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ نَّجَّيْنَٰهُم بِسَحَرٍ
Pickthall
As grace from Us. Thus We reward him who giveth thanks.
জহুরুল হক
আমাদের তরফ থেকে এক অনুগ্রহ। এইভাবেই আমরা পুরস্কার দিই যে কৃতজ্ঞতা দেখায় তাকে।
Saheeh International
As favor from us. Thus do We reward he who is grateful.

نِّعْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَن شَكَرَ
Pickthall
And he indeed had warned them of Our blow, but they did doubt the warnings.
জহুরুল হক
আর তিনি তো ইতিপূর্বেই তাদের সতর্ক করে দিয়েছিলেন আমাদের ভীষণভাবে পাকড়ানো সম্পর্কে, কিন্তু তারা আমার সতর্কীকরণ সন্বন্ধে কথা - কাটাকাটি করছিল।
Saheeh International
And he had already warned them of Our assault, but they disputed the warning.

وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا۟ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Pickthall
They even asked of him his guests for an ill purpose. Then We blinded their eyes (and said): Taste now My punishment after My warnings!
জহুরুল হক
আর তারা অবশ্য তাঁর কাছ থেকে তাঁর অতিথিদের চেয়েছিল, তখন আমরা তাদের চোখগুলোকে শেষ করে দিয়েছিলাম, ''অতএব আমার শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর আমার সতর্কীকরণের পরে।’’
Saheeh International
And they had demanded from him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "Taste My punishment and warning."

وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِۦ فَطَمَسْنَآ أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ
Pickthall
And in truth the punishment decreed befell them early in the morning.
জহুরুল হক
আর অবশ্য নির্ধারিত শাস্তি ভোরবেলাতে তাদের উপরে পড়েছিল।
Saheeh International
And there came upon them by morning an abiding punishment.

وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ
Pickthall
Now taste My punishment after My warnings!
জহুরুল হক
''আমার শাস্তি এখন আস্বাদন কর আমার সতর্কীকরণের পরে?’’
Saheeh International
So taste My punishment and warning.

فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ
Pickthall
And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth ?
জহুরুল হক
আর আমরা তো নিশ্চয়ই কুরআনকে উপদেশ গ্রহণের জন্য সহজবোধ্য করে দিয়েইছি, কিন্তু কে আছে যে উপদেশপ্রাপ্তদের মধ্যেকার?
Saheeh International
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
Pickthall
And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh
জহুরুল হক
আর অবশ্য ফিরআউনের লোকদের কাছে সতর্কীকরণ এসেছিল।
Saheeh International
And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning.

وَلَقَدْ جَآءَ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ ٱلنُّذُرُ
Pickthall
Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful.
জহুরুল হক
তারা আমাদের নিদর্শনসমূহ - - তাদের সবক’টি, প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল, সেজন্য আমরা তাদের পাকড়াও করেছিলাম মহাশক্তিশালী পরমক্ষমতাবানের পাকড়ানোর দ্বারা।
Saheeh International
They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability.

كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَٰهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ
Pickthall
Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures ?
জহুরুল হক
তোমাদের অবিশ্বাসীরা কি এদের চাইতে ভাল, না তোমাদের জন্য অব্যাহতি রয়েছে ধর্মগ্রন্থের মধ্যে?
Saheeh International
Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture?

أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٌ فِى ٱلزُّبُرِ
Pickthall
Or say they: We are a host victorious ?
জহুরুল হক
অথবা তারা কি বলে - - ''আমরা পরস্পরের সাহায্যকারী আস্ত একটা দল’’?
Saheeh International
Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"?

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعٌ مُّنتَصِرٌ
Pickthall
The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee.
জহুরুল হক
শীঘ্রই এ লোকদল বিধবস্ত হবে এবং পৃস্প্রদর্শন করে ফিরে যাবে।
Saheeh International
[Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat].

سَيُهْزَمُ ٱلْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَ
Pickthall
Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure).
জহুরুল হক
বস্তুত ঘড়িঘন্টাই তাদের নির্ধারিত স্থানকাল, আর সেই ঘড়িঘন্টা হবে অতি কঠোর ও বড় তিক্ত।
Saheeh International
But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter.

بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ
Pickthall
Lo! the guilty are in error and madness.
জহুরুল হক
নিঃসন্দেহ অপরাধীরা বিভ্রান্ত ও বিকারগ্রস্ত হবে।
Saheeh International
Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness.

إِنَّ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ وَسُعُرٍ
Pickthall
On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell.

সেই দিন তাদের মুখ হেচঁড়ে তাদের টেনে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে আগুনের মধ্যে - - ''জ্বালাময় আগুনের স্পর্শ আস্বাদন করো!’’
Saheeh International
The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar."

يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِى ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا۟ مَسَّ سَقَرَ

Lo! We have created every thing by measure.

নিঃসন্দেহ প্রত্যেকটি জিনিস - - আমরা এটি সৃষ্টি করেছি পরিমাপ অনুসারে।
Saheeh International
Indeed, all things We created with predestination.

إِنَّا كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَٰهُ بِقَدَرٍ
Pickthall
And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye.
জহুরুল হক
আর আমাদের আদেশ একবার বৈ তো নয়, চোখের পলকের ন্যায়।
Saheeh International
And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.

وَمَآ أَمْرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍۭ بِٱلْبَصَرِ
Pickthall
And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth ?
জহুরুল হক
আর আমরা তো তোমাদের সেঙাৎদের ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছিলাম, কিন্তু কেউ কি রয়েছে উপদেশপ্রাপ্তদের মধ্যেকার?
Saheeh International
And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember?

وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَآ أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ

And every thing they did is in the scriptures,

আর তারা যা করেছে তার সব - কিছুই নথিপত্রে রয়েছে।

And everything they did is in written records.

And every small and great thing is recorded.

আর ছোট ও বড় প্রত্যেকটি বিষয় লিপিবদ্ধ আছে।

And every small and great [thing] is inscribed.

Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers,

ধর্মভীরুরা অবশ্যই থাকবে ঝরনাবেষ্টিত জান্নাতে - -

Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers,

Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King.

In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability.
