1 In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur'an,
Saheeh International
1 Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an.

১ বলুনঃ আমার প্রতি ওহী নাযিল করা হয়েছে যে, জিনদের একটি দল কোরআন শ্রবণ করেছে, অতঃপর তারা বলেছেঃ আমরা বিস্ময়কর কোরআন শ্রবণ করেছি;

١ قُلْ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبًا
Pickthall
2 Which guideth unto righteousness, so we believe in it and we ascribe no partner unto our Lord.
Saheeh International
2 It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone.

২ যা সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করে। ফলে আমরা তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমরা কখনও আমাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করব না।

٢ يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشْدِ فَـَٔامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدًا

3 And (we believe) that He - exalted be the glory of our Lord! - hath taken neither wife nor son,
Saheeh International
3 And [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
৩ এবং আরও বিশ্বাস করি যে, আমাদের পালনকর্তার মহান মর্যাদা সবার উর্ধ্বে। তিনি কোন পত্নী গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর কোন সন্তান নেই।

٣ وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا
Pickthall
4 And that the foolish one among us used to speak concerning Allah an atrocious lie.
Saheeh International
4 And that our foolish one has been saying about Allah an excessive transgression.

৪ আমাদের মধ্যে নির্বোধেরা আল্লাহ তা’আলা সম্পর্কে বাড়াবাড়ির কথাবার্তা বলত।

Pickthall
5 And lo! we had supposed that humankind and jinn would not speak a lie concerning Allah -

5 And we had thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about Allah a lie.

৫ অথচ আমরা মনে করতাম, মানুষ ও জিন কখনও আল্লাহ তা’আলা সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলতে পারে না।

٥ وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلْإِنسُ وَٱلْجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا
Pickthall
6 And indeed (O Muhammad) individuals of humankind used to invoke the protection of individuals of the jinn, so that they increased them in revolt against Allah);
Saheeh International
6 And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden.

৬ অনেক মানুষ অনেক জিনের আশ্রয় নিত, ফলে তারা জিনদের আত্নম্ভরিতা বাড়িয়ে দিত।

٦ وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا
Pickthall
7 And indeed they supposed, even as ye suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone (from the dead) -
Saheeh International
7 And they had thought, as you thought, that Allah would never send anyone [as a messenger].

৭ তারা ধারণা করত, যেমন তোমরা মানবেরা ধারণা কর যে, মৃত্যুর পর আল্লাহ তা’আলা কখনও কাউকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন না।

٧ وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا۟ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدًا
Pickthall
8 And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors.
Saheeh International
8 And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames.

৮ আমরা আকাশ পর্যবেক্ষণ করছি, অতঃপর দেখতে পেয়েছি যে, কঠোর প্রহরী ও উল্কাপিন্ড দ্বারা আকাশ পরিপূর্ণ।

٨ وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا
Pickthall
9 And we used to sit on places (high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him;
Saheeh International
9 And we used to sit therein in positions for hearing, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him.

৯ আমরা আকাশের বিভিন্ন ঘাঁটিতে সংবাদ শ্রবণার্থে বসতাম। এখন কেউ সংবাদ শুনতে চাইলে সে জলন্ত উল্কাপিন্ড ওঁৎ পেতে থাকতে দেখে।

٩ وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْءَانَ يَجِدْ لَهُۥ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًا
Pickthall
10 And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them.
Saheeh International
10 And we do not know [therefore] whether evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course.

১০ আমরা জানি না পৃথিবীবাসীদের অমঙ্গল সাধন করা অভীষ্ট, না তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের মঙ্গল সাধন করার ইচ্ছা রাখেন।

١٠ وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِىٓ أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا
Pickthall
11 And among us there are righteous folk and among us there are far from that. We are sects having different rules.
Saheeh International
11 And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways.

১১ আমাদের কেউ কেউ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কেউ কেউ এরূপ নয়। আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথে বিভক্ত।

١١ وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدًا
Pickthall
12 And we know that we cannot escape from Allah in the earth, nor can we escape by flight.
Saheeh International
12 And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allah upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.

১২ আমরা বুঝতে পেরেছি যে, আমরা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে পরাস্ত করতে পারব না এবং পলায়ন করেও তাকে অপারক করত পরব না।

١٢ وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ ٱللَّهَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُۥ هَرَبًا
Pickthall
13 And when we heard the guidance, we believed therein, and whoso believeth in his Lord, he feareth neither loss nor oppression.
Saheeh International
13 And when we heard the guidance, we believed in it. And whoever believes in his Lord will not fear deprivation or burden.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
১৩ আমরা যখন সুপথের নির্দেশ শুনলাম, তখন তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলাম। অতএব, যে তার পালনকর্তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস করে, সে লোকসান ও জোর - জবরের আশংকা করে না।

١٣ وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ فَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا
Pickthall
14 And there are among us some who have surrendered (to Allah) and there are among us some who are unjust. And whoso hath surrendered to Allah, such have taken the right path purposefully.
Saheeh International
14 And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course.

১৪ আমাদের কিছুসংখ্যক আজ্ঞাবহ এবং কিছুসংখ্যক অন্যায়কারী। যারা আজ্ঞাবহ হয়, তারা সৎপথ বেছে নিয়েছে।

١٤ وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا۟ رَشَدًا
Pickthall
15 And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell.
Saheeh International
15 But as for the unjust, they will be, for Hell, firewood.'

১৫ আর যারা অন্যায়কারী, তারা তো জাহান্নামের ইন্ধন।

١٥ وَأَمَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا۟ لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا
Pickthall
16 If they (the idolaters) tread the right path, We shall give them to drink of water in abundance
Saheeh International
16 And [Allah revealed] that if they had remained straight on the way, We would have given them abundant provision

১৬ আর এই প্রত্যাদেশ করা হয়েছে যে, তারা যদি সত্যপথে কায়েম থাকত, তবে আমি তাদেরকে প্রচুর পানি বর্ষণে সিক্ত করতাম।

١٦ وَأَلَّوِ ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقًا
Pickthall
17 That We may test them thereby, and whoso turneth away from the remembrance of his Lord; He will thrust him into ever - growing torment.
Saheeh International
17 So We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord He will put into arduous punishment.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
১৭ যাতে এ ব্যাপারে তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করি। পক্ষান্তরে যে ব্যক্তি তার পালনকর্তার স্মরণ থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তিনি তাকে উদীয়মান আযাবে পরিচালিত করবেন।

١٧ لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا
Pickthall
18 And the places of worship are only for Allah, so pray not unto anyone along with Allah.
Saheeh International
18 And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
১৮ এবং এই ওহীও করা হয়েছে যে, মসজিদসমূহ আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে স্মরণ করার জন্য। অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহ তা’আলার সাথে কাউকে ডেকো না।

١٨ وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًا
Pickthall
19 And when the slave of Allah stood up in prayer to Him, they crowded on him, almost stifling.
Saheeh International
19 And that when the Servant of Allah stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass."

১৯ আর যখন আল্লাহ তা’আলার বান্দা তাঁকে ডাকার জন্যে দন্ডায়মান হল, তখন অনেক জিন তার কাছে ভিড় জমাল।

١٩ وَأَنَّهُۥ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا۟ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا
Pickthall
20 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I pray unto Allah only, and ascribe unto Him no partner.
Saheeh International
20 Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone."

২০ বলুনঃ আমি তো আমার পালনকর্তাকেই ডাকি এবং তাঁর সাথে কাউকে শরীক করি না।

٢٠ قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى وَلَآ أُشْرِكُ بِهِۦٓ أَحَدًا

21 Say: Lo! I control not hurt nor benefit for you.
Saheeh International
21 Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction."

২১ বলুনঃ আমি তোমাদের ক্ষতি সাধন করার ও সুপথে আনয়ন করার মালিক নই।

22 Say: Lo! none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge beside Him
Saheeh International
22 Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge.

২২ বলুনঃ আল্লাহ তা’আলার কবল থেকে আমাকে কেউ রক্ষা করতে পারবে না এবং তিনি ব্যতীত আমি কোন আশ্রয়স্থল পাব না।

٢٢ قُلْ إِنِّى لَن يُجِيرَنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٌ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلْتَحَدًا
Pickthall
23 (Mine is) but conveyance (of the Truth) from Allah, and His messages; and whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger, lo! his is fire of hell, wherein such dwell for ever.
Saheeh International
23 But [I have for you] only notification from Allah, and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
২৩ কিন্তু আল্লাহ তা’আলার বাণী পৌছানো ও তাঁর পয়গাম প্রচার করাই আমার কাজ। যে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলকে অমান্য করে, তার জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের অগ্নি। তথায় তারা চিরকাল থাকবে।

٢٣ إِلَّا بَلَٰغًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦ وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا
Pickthall
24 Till (the day) when they shall behold that which they are promised (they may doubt); but then they will know (for certain) who is weaker in allies and less in multitude.

24 [The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number.

২৪ এমনকি যখন তারা প্রতিশ্রুত শাস্তি দেখতে পাবে, তখন তারা জানতে পারবে, কার সাহায্যকারী দূর্বল এবং কার সংখ্যা কম।

25 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or if my Lord hath set a distant term for it.
Saheeh International
25 Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period."

২৫ বলুনঃ আমি জানি না তোমাদের প্রতিশ্রুত বিষয় আসন্ন না আমার পালনকর্তা এর জন্যে কোন মেয়াদ স্থির করে রেখেছেন।

26 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen, and He revealeth unto none His secret,
Saheeh International
26 [He is] Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone

২৬ তিনি অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞানী। পরন্ত তিনি অদৃশ্য বিষয় কারও কাছে প্রকাশ করেন না।

٢٦ عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِۦٓ أَحَدًا

27 Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind him

27 Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers

২৭ তাঁর মনোনীত রসূল ব্যতীত। তখন তিনি তার অগ্রে ও পশ্চাতে প্রহরী নিযুক্ত করেন

٢٧ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدًا
Pickthall
28 That He may know that they have indeed conveyed the messages of their Lord. He surroundeth all their doings, and He keepeth count of all things.
Saheeh International
28 That he may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number.
মুহিউদ্দীন খান
২৮ যাতে আল্লাহ তা’আলা জেনে নেন যে, রসূলগণ তাঁদের পালনকর্তার পয়গাম পৌছিয়েছেন কি না। রসূলগণের কাছে যা আছে, তা তাঁর জ্ঞান - গোচর। তিনি সবকিছুর সংখ্যার হিসাব রাখেন।
