1 In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. For the taming of Qureysh.

1 For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish,

Transliteration

1 Lieelafi qurayshin

2 For their taming (We cause) the caravans to set forth in winter and summer.

2 Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer, -

Transliteration

2 Eelafihim rihlata alshshitai waalssayfi

3 So let them worship the Lord of this House,

3 Let them adore the Lord of this House,

Transliteration

3 FalyaAAbudoo rabba hatha albayti

4 Who hath fed them against hunger and hath made them safe from fear.

Yusuf Ali

4 Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger).

4 Allathee atAAamahum min jooAAin waamanahum min khawfin
