Chapter 86, 17 verses

  • Shakir
  • Deutsch
Shakir

I swear by the heaven and the comer by night;

Deutsch

Beim Himmel und dem Pochenden!

Shakir

And what will make you know what the comer by night is?

Deutsch

Und was läßt dich wissen, was der Pochende ist?

Shakir

The star of piercing brightness;

Deutsch

(Es ist) der durchbohrend helle Stem.

Shakir

There is not a soul but over it is a keeper.

Deutsch

Shakir

So let man consider of what he is created:

Deutsch

Shakir

He is created of water pouring forth,

Deutsch

Er ist aus sich ergießendem Wasser erschaffen,

Shakir

Coming from between the back and the ribs.

Deutsch

Shakir

Most surely He is able to return him (to life).

Deutsch

Shakir

On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest,

Deutsch

Shakir

He shall have neither strength nor helper.

Deutsch

Shakir

I swear by the raingiving heavens,

Deutsch

Beim Himmel mit der Wiederkehr

Shakir

And the earth splitting (with plants);

Deutsch

und der Erde mit ihren Sprüngen!

Shakir

Most surely it is a decisive word,

Deutsch

Er ist wahrlich ein entscheidendes Wort;

Shakir

And it is no joke.

Deutsch

er ist kein Scherz.

Shakir

Surely they will make a scheme,

Deutsch

Sie wenden eine List an,

Shakir

And I (too) will make a scheme.

Deutsch

Und Ich wende eine List an.

Shakir

So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while.

Deutsch
