Shakir
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly,
সমকালীন বাংলা
আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি, পরম করুণাময় পরম দয়ালু; ঊর্ধ্বশ্বাসে ছুটে চলা
Note
এই সূরাতে সম্ভবত দ্রুত গতিতে ছুটে চলা ঘোড়া বা অশ্বসমূহের কথা বলা হয়েছে।
Saheeh International
By the racers, panting,
Arabic, with marks
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا
Word by word
وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًا
Shakir
Then those that produce fire striking,
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং যারা আঘাতে আগুনের স্ফুলিঙ্গ বের করে,
Saheeh International
And the producers of sparks [when] striking
Arabic, with marks
فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا
Word by word
فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًا
Shakir
Then those that make raids at morn,
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং যারা ভোরে আক্রমণ করে,
Saheeh International
And the chargers at dawn,
Arabic, with marks
فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا
Word by word
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا
Shakir
Then thereby raise dust,
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং তাতেধুলিউড়িয়ে দেয়,
Saheeh International
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
Arabic, with marks
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا
Word by word
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا
Shakir
Then rush thereby upon an assembly:
সমকালীন বাংলা
অতঃপর তারা দলের মধ্যে ঢুকে পড়ে,
Saheeh International
Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
Arabic, with marks
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا
Word by word
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا
Shakir
Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord.
সমকালীন বাংলা
নিশ্চয়ই মানুষ তার প্রতিপালকের প্রতি অকৃতজ্ঞ,
Saheeh International
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
Arabic, with marks
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ
Word by word
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ
Shakir
And most surely he is a witness of that.
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং সে নিজেই এর সাক্ষী,
Saheeh International
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
Arabic, with marks
وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
Word by word
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
Shakir
And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth.
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং সে সম্পদের প্রতি প্রবল আসক্ত,
Saheeh International
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.

وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
Word by word
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
Shakir
Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised,
সমকালীন বাংলা
তবে কি সে জানে না, যখন কবরগুলোয় যা আছে বের করে আনা হবে,
Saheeh International
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered

۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ

أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ
Shakir
And what is in the breasts is made apparent?
সমকালীন বাংলা
এবং যা অন্তরে আছে তা বের করে আনা হবে,
Saheeh International
And that within the breasts is obtained,
Arabic, with marks
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ
Word by word
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
Shakir
Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them.
সমকালীন বাংলা
নিশ্চয়ই সেদিন তাদের প্রতিপালক তাদের সম্পর্কে সর্বজ্ঞ থাকবেন।
Saheeh International
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌ

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ
