1 Iqtaraba lil nna si h isa buhum wahum fee ghaflatin muAArid oona
Shakir
1 Their reckoning has drawn near to men, and in heedlessness are they turning aside.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১ মানুষের হিসাব দেয়ার সময় তাদের নিকটেই চলে এসেছে, অথচ তারা গাফলতিতে তা উপেক্ষা করে চলেছে।

١ ٱقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ فِى غَفْلَةٍ مُّعْرِضُونَ
Transliteration
2 Ma yateehim min th ikrin min rabbihim muh dathin illa istamaAAoohu wahum yalAAaboona
Shakir
2 There comes not to them a new reminder from their Lord but they hear it while they sport,

২ তাদের কাছে যখনই তাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে কোনো নতুন যিকির (কিতাব) আসে, তারা তা শুনে খেলাচ্ছলে।

٢ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحْدَثٍ إِلَّا ٱسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
Transliteration
3 La hiyatan quloobuhum waasarroo al nnajwa allath eena th atha illa basharun mithlukum afatatoona al ssih ra waantum tubs iroona
Shakir
3 Their hearts trifling; and those who are unjust counsel together in secret: He is nothing but a mortal like yourselves; what! will you then yield to enchantment while you see?

৩ তাদের কলব থাকে অমনোযোগী। যালিমরা গোপন শলাপরামর্শ করে বলে: ‘এতো তোমাদের মতোই একজন মানুষ ছাড়া আর কিছু নয়। তোমরা কি দেখে শুনে ম্যাজিকের পিছে ছুটবে।’

٣ لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّجْوَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ هَلْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ أَفَتَأْتُونَ ٱلسِّحْرَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ
Transliteration
4 Qa la rabbee yaAAlamu alqawla fee al ssama i waa lard i wahuwa al ssameeAAu alAAaleemu
Shakir
4 He said: My Lord knows what is spoken in the heaven and the earth, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

৪ সে বললো: আমার প্রভু আসমান ও জমিনের সব কথাই জানেন। তিনি সব শুনেন, সব জানেন

٤ قَالَ رَبِّى يَعْلَمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration
5 Bal qa loo ad gha thu ah la min bali iftara hu bal huwa sha AAirun falyatina bia yatin kama orsila alawwaloona
Shakir
5 Nay! say they: Medleys of dreams; nay! he has forged it; nay! he is a poet; so let him bring to us a sign as the former (prophets) were sent (with).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৫ বরং তারা বলে: এগুলো হলো অলীক কল্পনা। হয় সে এগুলো উদ্ভাবন করে নিয়েছে, নয়তো সে একজন কবি। সুতরাং সে আমাদের কাছে কোনো নিদর্শন নিয়ে আসুক, যেভাবে নিদর্শনসহ প্রেরিত হয়েছিল পূর্বের রসূলরা।

٥ بَلْ قَالُوٓا۟ أَضْغَٰثُ أَحْلَٰمٍۭ بَلِ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِـَٔايَةٍ كَمَآ أُرْسِلَ ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ
Transliteration
6 Ma a manat qablahum min qaryatin ahlakna ha afahum yuminoona
Shakir
6 There did not believe before them any town which We destroyed, will they then believe?

৬ এদের আগেকার যেসব জনপদ আমরা হালাক করে দিয়েছিলাম তারা তো ঈমান আনেনি। তবে কি এরাও ঈমান আনবেনা?

٦ مَآ ءَامَنَتْ قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَآ أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Transliteration
7 Wama arsalna qablaka illa rija lan nooh ee ilayhim fai saloo ahla al thth ikri in kuntum la taAAlamoona
Shakir
7 And We did not send before you any but men to whom We sent revelation, so ask the followers of the reminder if you do not
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৭ তোমার আগে আমরা যতো রসূলই পাঠিয়েছিলাম, তারা সবাই ছিলো মানুষ। তাদের কাছেই আমরা অহি পাঠাতাম। তোমরা যদি না জানো, তাহলে কিতাবধারীদের (জ্ঞানীদের) জিজ্ঞাসা করো।

٧ وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Transliteration
8 Wama jaAAalna hum jasadan la yakuloona al tt aAAa ma wama ka noo kha lideena
Shakir
8 And We did not make them bodies not eating the food, and they were not to abide (forever).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৮ তাদেরকে আমরা এমন দেহ দেইনি যে, তাদের খাবার খেতে হতোনা, আর তারা চিরস্থায়ীও ছিলনা।

٨ وَمَا جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ جَسَدًا لَّا يَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ خَٰلِدِينَ
Transliteration
9 Thumma s adaqna humu alwaAAda faanjayna hum waman nasha o waahlakna almusrifeena
Shakir
9 Then We made Our promise good to them, so We delivered them and those whom We pleased, and We destroyed the extravagant.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৯ তারপর তাদের প্রতি আমরা আমাদের প্রতিশ্রুতি পূর্ণ করি। ফলে আমরা তাদেরকে এবং যাদেরকে চেয়েছি নাজাত দিয়েছি, আর সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীদের করেছি হালাক (ধ্বংস)।

٩ ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْوَعْدَ فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُمْ وَمَن نَّشَآءُ وَأَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
Transliteration
10 Laqad anzalna ilaykum kita ban feehi th ikrukum afala taAAqiloona
Shakir
10 Certainly We have revealed to you a Book in which is your good remembrance; what! do you not then understand?

১০ আমরা তোমাদের কাছে নাযিল করেছি একটি কিতাব। তাতে রয়েছে তোমাদের উপদেশ। তবু কি তোমরা আকল খাটাবেনা?

١٠ لَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَٰبًا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Transliteration
11 Wakam qas amna min qaryatin ka nat th a limatan waanshana baAAdaha qawman a khareena
Shakir
11 And how many a town which was iniquitous did We demolish, and We raised up after it another people!

১১ আমরা কতো যে জনপদ ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি, কারণ সেগুলোর অধিবাসীরা ছিলো যালিম। তাদের পরে আমরা সৃষ্টি করেছি অন্য লোকদের।

١١ وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَأَنشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ
Transliteration
12 Falamma ah assoo basana itha hum minha yarkud oona
Shakir
12 So when they felt Our punishment, lo! they began to fly

১২ তারা যখন আমাদের শাস্তির আগমন অনুভব করে, তখনই লোকালয় থেকে পালাতে শুরু করে।

١٢ فَلَمَّآ أَحَسُّوا۟ بَأْسَنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ
Transliteration
13 La tarkud oo wai rjiAAoo ila ma otriftum feehi wamasa kinikum laAAallakum tusaloona
Shakir
13 Do not fly (now) and come back to what you were made to lead easy lives in and to your dwellings, haply you will be questioned.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৩ তাদের বলা হয়: পলায়ন করোনা, ফিরে আসো তোমাদের ভোগবিলাসের কাছে, তোমাদের আবাসে, যাতে করে তোমাদের জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা যায়।

١٣ لَا تَرْكُضُوا۟ وَٱرْجِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَآ أُتْرِفْتُمْ فِيهِ وَمَسَٰكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْـَٔلُونَ
Transliteration
14 Qa loo ya waylana inna kunna th a limeena
Shakir
14 They said: O woe to us! surely we were unjust.

১৪ তখন তারা বলে: হায়, ধ্বংস আমাদের! বাস্তবিকই আমরা ছিলাম যালিম।

١٤ قَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
Transliteration
15 Fama za lat tilka daAAwa hum h atta jaAAalna hum h as eedan kha mideena

15 And this ceased not to be their cry till We made them cut off, extinct.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৫ তাদের এই আর্তনাদ চলতে থাকে, যতোক্ষণনা আমরা তাদের করে ছাড়ি কাটা ফসল আর নেভানো আগুনের মতো (ভুষি আর ছাই)

١٥ فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ
Transliteration
16 Wama khalaqna al ssama a waa lard a wama baynahuma la AAibeena
Shakir
16 And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them for sport.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৬ আসমান, জমিন এবং এই উভয়ের মাঝখানে যা কিছু আছে, সেগুলো আমরা খেলাচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।

١٦ وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ
Transliteration
17 Law aradna an nattakhith a lahwan lai ttakhath na hu min ladunna in kunna fa AAileena
Shakir
17 Had We wished to make a diversion, We would have made it from before Ourselves: by no means would We do (it).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৭ আমরা যদি খেলার উপকরণ চাইতাম, তবে আমরা তা গ্রহণ করতাম আমাদের নিকট থেকেই। আমরা তা করিনি।

١٧ لَوْ أَرَدْنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَّٱتَّخَذْنَٰهُ مِن لَّدُنَّآ إِن كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ
Transliteration
18 Bal naqth ifu bia lh aqqi AAala albat ili fayadmaghuhu faitha huwa za hiqun walakumu alwaylu mimma tas ifoona
Shakir
18 Nay! We cast the truth against the falsehood, so that it breaks its head, and lo! it vanishes; and woe to you for what you describe;
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৮ বরং আমরা সত্যকে দিয়ে আঘাত হানি মিথ্যার উপর। তখন তা মিথ্যাকে চূর্ণ - বিচূর্ণ করে দেয়, আর তখন মিথ্যা হয়ে যায় অপসৃত। তোমরা যেসব কথা বানাচ্ছো, সেজন্যে তোমাদের দুর্ভোগ।

١٨ بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِٱلْحَقِّ عَلَى ٱلْبَٰطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُۥ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ وَلَكُمُ ٱلْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ
Transliteration
19 Walahu man fee al ssama wa ti waa lard i waman AAindahu la yastakbiroona AAan AAiba datihi wala yastah siroona

19 And whoever is in the heavens and the earth is His; and those who are with Him are not proud to serve Him, nor do they grow weary.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৯ মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যারাই আছে সবাই তাঁর। তাঁর কাছে যারা (যেসব ফেরশতা) রয়েছে তারা তাঁর দাসত্ব ও আনুগত্যের ব্যাপারে অহংকার করেনা এবং ক্লান্তিও বোধ করেনা।

١٩ وَلَهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ عِندَهُۥ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِۦ وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ
Transliteration
20 Yusabbih oona allayla waal nnaha ra la yafturoona
Shakir
20 They glorify (Him) by night and day; they are never languid.

২০ তারা তাঁর তসবিহ করে, রাতদিন। কোনো প্রকার বিরাম ও শৈথিল্য তাদের নেই।

٢٠ يُسَبِّحُونَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ
Transliteration
21 Ami ittakhath oo a lihatan mina alard i hum yunshiroona

21 Or have they taken gods from the earth who raise (the dead).

২১ ওরা মাটি দিয়ে যেসব ইলাহ্ (দেবতা) বানিয়েছে, সেগুলো কি মৃতকে জীবিত করতে পারে?

٢١ أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ هُمْ يُنشِرُونَ
Transliteration
22 Law ka na feehima a lihatun illa Alla hu lafasadata fasubha na Alla hi rabbi alAAarshi AAamma yas ifoona
Shakir
22 If there had been in them any gods except Allah, they would both have certainly been in a state of disorder; therefore glory be to Allah, the Lord of the dominion, above what they attribute (to Him).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২২ যদি মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহ্ ছাড়া অনেক ইলাহ্ থাকতো তাহলে উভয়টাই ধ্বংস হয়ে যেতো। সুতরাং তাদের আরোপিত এসব অপবাদ থেকে আরশের মালিক আল্লাহ্ অনেক ঊর্ধ্বে, মহান ও পবিত্র।

٢٢ لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَآ ءَالِهَةٌ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Transliteration
23 La yusalu AAamma yafAAalu wahum yusaloona
Shakir
23 He cannot be questioned concerning what He does and they shall be questioned.

২৩ তাঁর কর্ম সম্পর্কে প্রশ্ন করা হবেনা (প্রশ্ন করার কেউ নেই), অথচ তাদেরকে প্রশ্ন করা হবে।

٢٣ لَا يُسْـَٔلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْـَٔلُونَ
Transliteration
24 Ami ittakhath oo min doonihi a lihatan qul ha too burha nakum hatha th ikru man maAAiya wath ikru man qablee bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona alh aqqa fahum muAArid oona
Shakir
24 Or, have they taken gods besides Him? Say: Bring your proof; this is the reminder of those with me and the reminder of those before me. Nay! most of them do not know the truth, so they turn aside.

২৪ তারা কি তাঁর পরিবর্তে অন্যদেরকে ইলাহ্ গ্রহণ করেছে? হে নবী! বলো: ‘(তাদের ইলাহ্ হবার) প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করো। এটা (এই কুরআন) উপদেশ যারা আমার কালে আছে তাদের জন্যে, এবং উপদেশ তাদের জন্যে যারা ছিলো আমার আগে।’ বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই জানেনা প্রকৃত সত্য। ফলে তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।

٢٤ أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ هَٰذَا ذِكْرُ مَن مَّعِىَ وَذِكْرُ مَن قَبْلِى بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ فَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ
Transliteration
25 Wama arsalna min qablika min rasoolin illa nooh ee ilayhi annahu la ila ha illa ana fao AAbudooni
Shakir
25 And We did not send before you any apostle but We revealed to him that there is no god but Me, therefore serve Me.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৫ তোমার আগে আমরা যে রসূলই পাঠিয়েছি, তার কাছে এই অহি করেছি যে: ‘অবশ্যি কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই আমি ছাড়া, সুতরাং তোমরা কেবল আমারই ইবাদত করো।’

٢٥ وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا نُوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعْبُدُونِ
Transliteration
26 Waqa loo ittakhath a al rrah ma nu waladan subha nahu bal AAiba dun mukramoona
Shakir
26 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken to Himself a son. Glory be to Him. Nay! they are honored servants
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৬ তারা বলে: ‘রহমান সন্তান গ্রহণ করেছেন।’ সুবহানাল্লাহ, তিনি এ থেকে পবিত্র মহান। তারা (ফেরেশতারা) তো তাঁর সম্মানিত দাস।

٢٦ وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُونَ
Transliteration
27 La yasbiqoonahu bia lqawli wahum biamrihi yaAAmaloona
Shakir
27 They do not precede Him in speech and (only) according to His commandment do they act.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৭ তারা তাঁকে অতিক্রম করে কোনো কথা বলেনা। তারা তাঁর নির্দেশ অনুযায়ী কাজ করে।

٢٧ لَا يَسْبِقُونَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ وَهُم بِأَمْرِهِۦ يَعْمَلُونَ
Transliteration
28 YaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wala yashfaAAoona illa limani irtada wahum min khashyatihi mushfiqoona
Shakir
28 He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not intercede except for him whom He approves and for fear of Him they tremble.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৮ তিনি তাদের সামনের ও পেছনের সবকিছু অবগত! তারা শাফায়াত করবেনা, তবে আল্লাহ্ যাদের ব্যাপারে সন্তুষ্ট। আর তারা সব সময় ভীত সন্ত্রস্ত থাকে তাঁর ভয়ে।

٢٨ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ وَهُم مِّنْ خَشْيَتِهِۦ مُشْفِقُونَ
Transliteration
29 Waman yaqul minhum innee ila hun min doonihi fatha lika najzeehi jahannama katha lika najzee al thth a limeena
Shakir
29 And whoever of them should say: Surely I am a god besides Him, such a one do We recompense with hell; thus do, We recompense the unjust.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৯ তাদের কেউ যদি বলে: ‘আল্লাহ্ ছাড়া আমিও একজন ইলাহ্।’ আমাদের কাছে তার দন্ড হলো জাহান্নাম। যালিমদের আমরা এ রকম দন্ডই দিয়ে থাকি।

٢٩ وَمَن يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّىٓ إِلَٰهٌ مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Transliteration
30 Awalam yara allath eena kafaroo anna al ssama wa ti waa lard a ka nata ratqan fafataqna huma wajaAAalna mina alma i kulla shayin h ayyin afala yuminoona
Shakir
30 Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, but We have opened them; and We have made of water everything living, will they not then believe?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩০ যারা কুফুরি করে তারা কি ভেবে দেখেনা, মহাকাশ আর পৃথিবী তো প্রথমে ছিলো ওতপ্রোত জড়িত থাকা একটি পিন্ড। তারপর আমরা তাদের পৃথক করে দিয়েছি, আর সমস্ত প্রাণবানকেই আমরা সৃষ্টি করেছি পানি থেকে। তবু কি তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবেনা।

٣٠ أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَٰهُمَا وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Transliteration
31 WajaAAalna fee alard i rawa siya an tameeda bihim wajaAAalna feeha fija jan subulan laAAallahum yahtadoona
Shakir
31 And We have made great mountains in the earth lest it might be convulsed with them, and We have made in it wide ways that they may follow a right direction.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩১ আর আমরা পৃথিবীতে সৃষ্টি করে দিয়েছি পাহাড় পর্বত, যাতে করে পৃথিবী তাদের নিয়ে এদিক সেদিক ঢলে না পড়ে। আর আমরা তাতে প্রশস্ত পথও সৃষ্টি করে দিয়েছি, যাতে তারা পৌঁছাতে পারে গন্তব্যস্থলে।

٣١ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
Transliteration
32 WajaAAalna al ssama a saqfan mah footh a ya tiha muAArid oona

32 And We have made the heaven a guarded canopy and (yet) they turn aside from its signs.

৩২ আমরা আকাশকে বানিয়ে দিয়েছি সুরক্ষিত ছাদ। অথচ তারা আমাদের এসব নিদর্শনকে উপেক্ষা করে চলছে।

٣٢ وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقْفًا مَّحْفُوظًا وَهُمْ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ
Transliteration
33 Wahuwa allath ee khalaqa allayla waal nnaha ra waal shshamsa waa lqamara kullun fee falakin yasbah oona
Shakir
33 And He it is Who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all (orbs) travel along swiftly in their celestial spheres.

৩৩ তিনিই তো সৃষ্টি করেছেন রাত আর দিন এবং সূর্য আর চাঁদ। এরা প্রত্যেকেই সাঁতরে চলছে নিজ নিজ কক্ষ পথে।

٣٣ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
Transliteration
34 Wama jaAAalna libasharin min qablika alkhulda afain mitta fahumu alkha lidoona
Shakir
34 And We did not ordain abiding for any mortal before you. What! Then if you die, will they abide?

৩৪ (হে মুহাম্মদ!) তোমার আগেও আমরা কোনো মানুষকে চিরস্থায়ী করিনি। তাহলে (এখন দেখো) তোমারই যদি মৃত্যু হয়, তবে তারা কি হবে চিরজীবী?

٣٤ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ ٱلْخُلْدَ أَفَإِي۟ن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ ٱلْخَٰلِدُونَ
Transliteration
35 Kullu nafsin tha iqatu almawti wanablookum bial shsharri waa lkhayri fitnatan wailayna turjaAAoona
Shakir
35 Every soul must taste of death and We try you by evil and good by way of probation; and to Us you shall be brought back.

৩৫ প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তিই গ্রহণ করবে মৃত্যুর স্বাদ। আমরা তোমাদেরকে মন্দ ও ভালো দিয়ে পরীক্ষা করে থাকি, আর আমাদের কাছেই তোমাদের আনা হবে ফেরত।

٣٥ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَنَبْلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
Transliteration
36 Waitha raa ka allath eena kafaroo in yattakhith oonaka illa huzuwan ahatha allath ee yath kuru a lihatakum wahum bith ikri al rrah ma ni hum ka firoona
Shakir
36 And when those who disbelieve see you, they do not take you but for one to be scoffed at: Is this he who speaks of your gods? And they are deniers at the mention of the Beneficent Allah.

৩৬ কাফিররা যখনই তোমাকে দেখে, তখনই তারা তোমাকে বিদ্রুপের পাত্র হিসেবে গ্রহণ করে। তারা বলে: ‘এই লোকটিই কি তোমাদের ইলাহ্দের (দেবদেবীর) সমালোচনা করে?’ অথচ তারাই (এই কাফিররাই) রহমানের যিকির - এর বিরোধিতা করে।

٣٦ وَإِذَا رَءَاكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى يَذْكُرُ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ وَهُم بِذِكْرِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ هُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ
Transliteration
37 Khuliqa alinsa nu min AAajalin saoreekum a ya tee fala tastaAAjiloona
Shakir
37 Man is created of haste; now will I show to you My signs, therefore do not ask Me to hasten (them) on.

৩৭ মানুষকে তাড়াহুড়া প্রবণ করে সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে। অচিরেই আমরা তোমাদেরকে আমাদের নিদর্শনাবলি দেখাবো। সুতরাং আমাকে তাড়াহুড়া করতে বলোনা।

٣٧ خُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِى فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
Transliteration
38 Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sa diqeena

38 And they say: When will this threat come to pass if you are truthful?

৩৮ তারা বলে: ‘ওয়াদা করা দিনটি কখন আসবে, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকলে বলো।’

٣٨ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
Transliteration
39 Law yaAAlamu allath eena kafaroo h eena la yakuffoona AAan wujoohihimu al nna ra wala AAan th a hum yuns aroona
Shakir
39 Had those who disbelieve but known (of the time) when they shall not be able to ward off the fire from their faces nor from their backs, nor shall they be helped.

৩৯ হায়, কাফিররা যদি জানতো, সে সময়টি যখন আসবে, তখন তারা তাদের সামনে এবং পেছনে থেকে আসা আগুন প্রতিরোধ করতে পারবেনা এবং তাদেরকে কোনো প্রকার সাহায্যও করা হবেনা।

٣٩ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ حِينَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَن وُجُوهِهِمُ ٱلنَّارَ وَلَا عَن ظُهُورِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
Transliteration
40 Bal tateehim baghtatan fatabhatuhum fala yastat eeAAoona raddaha wala hum yunth a
Shakir
40 Nay, it shall come on them all of a sudden and cause them to become confounded, so they shall not have the power to avert it, nor shall they be respited.

৪০ সেই সময়টি তাদের কাছে এসে পড়বে আকস্মিক এবং তা তাদেরকে হতভম্ব করে দেবে। তারা তা প্রতিরোধ করতেও সক্ষম হবেনা এবং তাদেরকে অবকাশও দেয়া হবেনা।

٤٠ بَلْ تَأْتِيهِم بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ
Transliteration
41 Walaqadi istuhzia birusulin min qablika faha qa bia llath eena sakhiroo minhum ma ka noo bihi yastahzioona

41 And certainly apostles before you were scoffed at, then there befell those of them who scoffed that at which they had scoffed.

৪১ তোমার আগেকার রসূলদের সাথেও ঠাট্টা - বিদ্রুপ করা হয়েছিল, তারা যা নিয়ে ঠাট্টা - বিদ্রুপ করতো, পরিণামে সেই (আযাবই) বিদ্রুপকারীদের পরিবেষ্টন করে নেয়।

٤١ وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
Transliteration
42 Qul man yaklaokum bia llayli waal nnaha ri mina al rrah ma ni bal hum AAan th ikri rabbihim muAArid oona
Shakir
42 Say: Who guards you by night and by day from the Beneficent Allah? Nay, they turn aside at the mention of their Lord.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৪২ হে নবী ! তাদের জিজ্ঞেস করো: ‘রাতে এবং দিনে রহমানের পাকড়াও থেকে তোমাদের রক্ষা করবে কে?’ বরং তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছে তাদের প্রভুর যিকির (আল কুরআন) থেকে।

٤٢ قُلْ مَن يَكْلَؤُكُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ مِنَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ بَلْ هُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ
Transliteration
43 Am lahum a lihatun tamnaAAuhum min doonina la yastat eeAAoona nas ra anfusihim wala hum minna yush aboona

43 Or, have they gods who can defend them against Us? They shall not be able to assist themselves, nor shall they be defended from Us.

৪৩ তাহলে কি আমরা ছাড়াও তাদের আরো ইলাহ্ আছে যারা তাদের রক্ষা করবে? তারা তো তাদের নিজেদেরকেও সাহায্য করতে পারবেনা, আর আমাদের বিরুদ্ধে তাদের কোনো সাহায্যকারীও থাকবেনা।

٤٣ أَمْ لَهُمْ ءَالِهَةٌ تَمْنَعُهُم مِّن دُونِنَا لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَا هُم مِّنَّا يُصْحَبُونَ
Transliteration
44 Bal mattaAAna ha ola i waa ba ahum h atta ta la AAalayhimu alAAumuru afala yarawna anna natee alard a nanqus uha min at ra fiha afahumu algha liboona

44 Nay, We gave provision to these and their fathers until life was prolonged to them. Do they not then see that We are visiting the land, curtailing it of its sides? Shall they then prevail?

৪৪ বরং আমরাই তাদের এবং তাদের পূর্ব পুরুষদের ভোগবিলাসের উপকরণ দিয়েছি, তাছাড়া তাদের বয়সকালও হয়েছিল দীর্ঘ। তারা কি দেখেনা, আমরা তাদের দেশকে চারদিক থেকে সংকুচিত করে আনছি, তবু কি তারা বিজয়ী হবে?

٤٤ بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْعُمُرُ أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّا نَأْتِى ٱلْأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَآ أَفَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ
Transliteration
45 Qul innama onth irukum bia lwah yi wala yasmaAAu al ss ummu al dduAAa a itha ma yunth aroona
Shakir
45 Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned.

৪৫ হে নবী! তাদের বলো: ‘আমি তোমাদের সতর্ক করছি অহির সাহায্যে।’ কিন্তু বধির লোকেরা কোনো ডাকই শুনেনা, যতোই তাদের করা হয় সতর্ক।

٤٥ قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أُنذِرُكُم بِٱلْوَحْىِ وَلَا يَسْمَعُ ٱلصُّمُّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا مَا يُنذَرُونَ
Transliteration
46 Walain massathum nafh atun min AAatha bi rabbika layaqoolunna ya waylana inna kunna th a limeena
Shakir
46 And if a blast of the chastisement of your Lord were to touch them, they will certainly say: O woe to us! surely we were unjust.

৪৬ তোমার প্রভুর কিছু আযাবও যদি তাদের স্পর্শ করে, তারা অবশ্যি বলে উঠবে: হায়, আমাদের ধ্বংস, আমরা অবশ্যি যালিম ছিলাম।

٤٦ وَلَئِن مَّسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَٰوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
Transliteration
47 Wanad aAAu almawa zeena alqist a liyawmi alqiya mati fala tuth a na mithqa la h abbatin min khardalin atayna biha wakafa bina ha sibeena
Shakir
47 And We will set up a just balance on the day of resurrection, so no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and though there be the weight of a grain of mustard seed, (yet) will We bring it, and sufficient are We to take account.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৪৭ কিয়ামতকালে আমরা স্থাপন করবো ন্যায়বিচারের দন্ড। তখন কারো প্রতি বিন্দুমাত্র যুলুম করা হবেনা। কারো কর্ম যদি শস্য পরিমাণ ওজনেরও হয়, সেটাও আমরা ওজনের আওতায় নিয়ে আসবো। হিসাবগ্রহণকারী হিসেবে আমরাই যথেষ্ট।

٤٧ وَنَضَعُ ٱلْمَوَٰزِينَ ٱلْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَٰسِبِينَ
Transliteration
48 Walaqad a tayna moosa waha roona alfurqa na wad iya an wath ikran lilmuttaqeena

48 And certainly We gave to Musa and Haroun the Furqan and a light and a reminder for those who would guard (against evil).

৪৮ আমরা মূসা এবং হারূণকে দিয়েছিলাম ফুরকান , জ্যোতি এবং যিকির সেইসব মুত্তাকিদের জন্যে,

٤٨ وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ وَضِيَآءً وَذِكْرًا لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
Transliteration
49 Allath eena yakhshawna rabbahum bia lghaybi wahum mina al ssa AAati mushfiqoona
Shakir
49 (For) those who fear their Lord in secret and they are fearful of the hour.

৪৯ যারা না দেখেও তাদের প্রভুকে ভয় করে এবং তারা কিয়ামত সম্পর্কে থাকে ভীত সন্ত্রস্ত।

٤٩ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّاعَةِ مُشْفِقُونَ
Transliteration
50 Wahatha th ikrun muba rakun anzalna hu afaantum lahu munkiroona
Shakir
50 And this is a blessed Reminder which We have revealed; will you then deny it?

৫০ এ (কুরআন) এক কল্যাণময় উপদেশ, তবু কি তোমরা তা অস্বীকার করবে?

Transliteration
51 Walaqad a tayna ibra heema rushdahu min qablu wakunna bihi AAa limeena
Shakir
51 And certainly We gave to Ibrahim his rectitude before, and We knew him fully well.

৫১ আমরা ইতোপূর্বে ইবরাহিমকে সত্য পথের জ্ঞান দিয়েছিলাম, তার বিষয়ে আমরা বিশেষভাবে অবগত।

٥١ وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ رُشْدَهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِۦ عَٰلِمِينَ
Transliteration
52 Ith qa la liabeehi waqawmihi ma hath ihi al ttama theelu allatee antum laha AAa kifoona

52 When he said to his father and his people: What are these images to whose worship you cleave?

৫২ সে যখন তার পিতা এবং তার কওমকে বলেছিল: ‘এই ভাস্কর্যগুলো কী, যাদের প্রতি আপনারা নত হচ্ছেন?’

٥٢ إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلتَّمَاثِيلُ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنتُمْ لَهَا عَٰكِفُونَ
Transliteration
53 Qa loo wajadna a ba ana laha AAa bideena
Shakir
53 They said: We found our fathers worshipping them.

৫৩ জবাবে তারা বলেছিল: ‘আমরা আমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষদেরকে এদের পূজা করতে দেখে এসেছি।’

٥٣ قَالُوا۟ وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا لَهَا عَٰبِدِينَ
Transliteration
54 Qa la laqad kuntum antum waa ba okum fee d ala lin mubeenin
Shakir
54 He said: Certainly you have been, (both) you and your fathers, in manifest error.

৫৪ তখন সে বললো: ‘আপনারা এবং আপনাদের পূর্ব পুরুষরা রয়েছেন সুস্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে।’

Transliteration
55 Qa loo ajitana bia lh aqqi am anta mina alla AAibeena

55 They said: Have you brought to us the truth, or are you one of the triflers?

৫৫ তারা বললো: ‘তুমি কি আমাদের কাছে সত্য নিয়ে এসেছো, নাকি কৌতুক করছো?’

٥٥ قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ أَمْ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱللَّٰعِبِينَ
Transliteration
56 Qa la bal rabbukum rabbu al ssama wa ti waa lard i allath ee fat arahunna waana AAala tha likum mina al shsha hideena
Shakir
56 He said: Nay! your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who brought them into existence, and I am of those who bear witness to this:

৫৬ সে বললো: ‘‘আপনাদের রব হলেন মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীর রব, যিনি সেগুলোকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এ বিষয়ে আপনাদের কাছে আমি একজন সাক্ষী।

٥٦ قَالَ بَل رَّبُّكُمْ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَهُنَّ وَأَنَا۠ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ
Transliteration
57 WataA lla hi laakeedanna as na makum baAAda an tuwalloo mudbireena
Shakir
57 And, by Allah! I will certainly do something against your idols after you go away, turning back.

৫৭ আল্লাহর কসম, আপনারা চলে গেলে আমি অবশ্যি আপনাদের ভাস্কর্যগুলো সম্পর্কে কৌশল অবলম্বন করবো।’’

٥٧ وَتَٱللَّهِ لَأَكِيدَنَّ أَصْنَٰمَكُم بَعْدَ أَن تُوَلُّوا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ
Transliteration
58 FajaAAalahum juthath an illa kabeeran lahum laAAallahum ilayhi yarjiAAoona
Shakir
58 So he broke them into pieces, except the chief of them, that haply they may return to it.

৫৮ তারপর সে ভাস্কর্যগুলোকে ভেঙ্গে চূর্ণ - বিচূর্ণ করে দিলো বড়টিকে বাদে, যাতে করে তারা তার কাছে ফিরে আসে।

٥٨ فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَٰذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرًا لَّهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ
Transliteration
59 Qa loo man faAAala hatha bia lihatina innahu lamina al thth a limeena
Shakir
59 They said: Who has done this to our gods? Most surely he is one of the unjust.

৫৯ তারা এসে বললো: ‘আমাদের দেবদেবীদের সাথে এমন আচরণ করলো কে? সে তো নিশ্চয়ই একজন যালিম।’

60 Qa loo samiAAna fatan yath kuruhum yuqa lu lahu ibra heemu

60 They said: We heard a youth called Ibrahim speak of them.

৬০ তারা বলাবলি করলো: ‘ইবরাহিম নামের এক যুবককে তাদের সমালোচনা করতে শুনেছি।’

Transliteration
61 Qa loo fatoo bihi AAala aAAyuni al nna si laAAallahum yashhadoona
Shakir
61 Said they: Then bring him before the eyes of the people, perhaps they may bear witness.

৬১ তারা বললো: ‘তাকে জনসম্মুখে নিয়ে আসো, যাতে করে সবাই তাকে দেখে।’

62 They said: Have you done this to our gods, O Ibrahim?

৬২ (ইবরাহিম এলে) তারা জিজ্ঞেস করলো: ‘তুমিই কি আমাদের দেব - দেবীদের প্রতি এমন আচরণ করেছো, হে ইবরাহিম?’

Transliteration
63 Qa la bal faAAalahu kabeeruhum hatha fai saloohum in ka noo yant iqoona
Shakir
63 He said: Surely (some doer) has done it; the chief of them is this, therefore ask them, if they can speak.

৬৩ ইবরাহিম বললো: ‘বরং তাদের এই বড়টাই একাজ করেছে। তারা (তোমাদের দেবদেবীরা) কথা বলতে পারলে তাদের কাছে জিজ্ঞাসা করে দেখো।’

64 FarajaAAoo ila anfusihim faqa loo innakum antumu al thth a limoona

64 Then they turned to themselves and said: Surely you yourselves are the unjust;

৬৪ তখন তারা মনে মনে আত্মসমালোচনা করলো এবং বললো: ‘তোমরাই তো যালিম (সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী)।’

٦٤ فَرَجَعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
Transliteration
65 Thumma nukisoo AAala ruoosihim laqad AAalimta ma ha ola i yant iqoona

65 Then they were made to hang down their heads: Certainly you know that they do not speak.

৬৫ তাতে তাদের মাথা নত হয়ে গেলো। তারা বললো: ‘তুমি তো জানো, এরা কথা বলেনা।’

٦٥ ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ
Transliteration
66 Qa la afataAAbudoona min dooni Alla hi ma la yanfaAAukum shayan wala yad urrukum

66 He said: What! do you then serve besides Allah what brings you not any benefit at all, nor does it harm you?

৬৬ ইবরাহিম বললো: ‘‘তবে কি আপনারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে এমন সব জিনিসের ইবাদত (পূজা উপাসনা) করেন যারা আপনাদের কোনো উপকার করতে পারেনা এবং ক্ষতিও করতে পারেনা?

Transliteration
67 Offin lakum walima taAAbudoona min dooni Alla hi afala taAAqiloona

67 Fie on you and on what you serve besides Allah; what! do you not then understand?

৬৭ ধিক, আপনাদের প্রতি এবং আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে আপনারা যাদের ইবাদত করেন তাদের প্রতি। আপনারা কি মোটেই বুদ্ধি বিবেক খাটান না?’’

٦٧ أُفٍّ لَّكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Transliteration
68 Qa loo h arriqoohu wao ns uroo a lihatakum in kuntum fa AAileena
Shakir
68 They said: Burn him and help your gods, if you are going to do (anything).

৬৮ তখন তারা বললো: ‘তোমরা যদি কিছু করতে চাও, তবে একে আগুনে পোড়াও এবং তোমাদের দেব দেবীদের সাহায্য করো।’

Transliteration
69 Qulna ya na ru koonee bardan wasala man AAala ibra heema

69 We said: O fire! be a comfort and peace to Ibrahim;

৬৯ আমরা আগুনকে বললাম: ‘ হে আগুন! তুমি ইবরাহিমের জন্যে সুশীতল ও নিরাপদ হয়ে যাও।’

٦٩ قُلْنَا يَٰنَارُ كُونِى بَرْدًا وَسَلَٰمًا عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
Transliteration
70 Waara doo bihi kaydan fajaAAalna humu alakhsareena

70 And they desired a war on him, but We made them the greatest losers.

৭০ তারা তার ক্ষতি সাধনের এরাদা করেছিল, কিন্তু আমরা তাদেরকেই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করে ছেড়েছি।

٧٠ وَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ
Transliteration
71 Wanajjayna hu waloot an ila alard i allatee ba rakna feeha lilAAa lameena

71 And We delivered him as well as Lut (removing them) to the land which We had blessed for all people.

৭১ আর আমরা তাকে এবং লুতকে (তাদের কবল থেকে) নাজাত দিয়ে নিয়ে গেলাম সেই ভূ - খন্ডের দিকে, যে ভূ - খন্ডে আমরা বরকত দান করেছি জগদ্বাসীর জন্যে।

٧١ وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِى بَٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Transliteration
72 Wawahabna lahu isha qa wayaAAqooba na filatan wakullan jaAAalna sa lih eena

72 And We gave him Ishaq and Yaqoub, a son's son, and We made (them) all good.

৭২ আর আমরা তাকে সেই সাথে অতিরিক্ত হিসেবে দান করেছি (পুত্র) ইসহাক এবং (পৌত্র) ইয়াকুবকে। আর তাদের প্রত্যেককে আমরা বানিয়েছি দক্ষ পুণ্যবান।

٧٢ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةً وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صَٰلِحِينَ
Transliteration
73 WajaAAalna hum aimmatan yahdoona biamrina waawh ayna ilayhim fiAAla alkhayra ti waiqa ma al ss ala ti waeeta a al zzaka ti waka noo lana AAa bideena

73 And We made them Imams who guided (people) by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good and the keeping up of prayer and the giving of the alms, and Us (alone) did they serve;

৭৩ আর তাদেরকে আমরা বানিয়েছি ইমাম (নেতা), তারা আমাদের নির্দেশ মতো মানুষকে সঠিক পথ দেখাতো। আমরা তাদেরকে অহির মাধ্যমে নির্দেশ দিয়েছি জনকল্যাণের কাজ করতে, সালাত কায়েম করতে এবং যাকাত প্রদান করতে। তারা ছিলো আমার অনুগত দাস (উপাসক)।

٧٣ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ وَإِقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَإِيتَآءَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانُوا۟ لَنَا عَٰبِدِينَ
Transliteration
74 Waloot an a tayna hu h ukman waAAilman wanajjayna hu mina alqaryati allatee ka nat taAAmalu alkhaba itha innahum ka noo qawma sawin fa siqeena

74 And (as for) Lut, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town which wrought abominations; surely they were an evil people, transgressors;

৭৪ আর লুতকে আমরা দিয়েছিলাম হিকমাহ এবং এলেম। তাকেও আমরা নাজাত দিয়েছিলাম অশ্লীল কাজে লিপ্ত এক খবিছ জনপদ থেকে। তারা ছিলো এক নিকৃষ্ট সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী কওম।

٧٤ وَلُوطًا ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِى كَانَت تَّعْمَلُ ٱلْخَبَٰٓئِثَ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَٰسِقِينَ
Transliteration
75 Waadkhalna hu fee rah matina innahu mina al ssa lih eena

75 And We took him into Our mercy; surely he was of the good.

৭৫ আর আমরা তাকে দাখিল করে নিয়েছিলাম আমাদের রহমতের মধ্যে। সেও ছিলো দক্ষ পুণ্যবানদের একজন।

٧٥ وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُ فِى رَحْمَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Transliteration
76 Wanooh an ith na da min qablu fai stajabna lahu fanajjayna hu waahlahu mina alkarbi alAAath i
Shakir
76 And Nuh, when he cried aforetime, so We answered him, and delivered him and his followers from the great calamity.

৭৬ স্মরণ করো, এর আগে নূহ (আমাকে) ডেকেছিল। আমরা তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছিলাম এবং তাকে আর তার পরিবারবর্গকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম মহাসংকট থেকে।

٧٦ وَنُوحًا إِذْ نَادَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Transliteration
77 Wanas arna hu mina alqawmi allath eena kathth aboo bia ya tina innahum ka noo qawma sawin faaghraqna hum ajmaAAeena
Shakir
77 And We helped him against the people who rejected Our communications; surely they were an evil people, so We drowned them all.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৭৭ আমরা তাকে সাহায্য করেছিলাম এমন একটি কওমের বিরুদ্ধে যারা প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল আমাদের আয়াত। তারা ছিলো একটি মন্দ কওম, ফলে আমরা তাদের সবাইকে ডুবিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম পানিতে।

٧٧ وَنَصَرْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Transliteration
78 Wada wooda wasulayma na ith yah kuma ni fee alh arthi ith nafashat feehi ghanamu alqawmi wakunna lih ukmihim sha hideena

78 And Dawood and Sulaiman when they gave judgment concerning the field when the people's sheep pastured therein by night, and We were bearers of witness to their judgment.

৭৮ আরো স্মরণ করো দাউদ আর সুলাইমানের কথা। তারা যখন শস্যক্ষেত সম্পর্কে ফায়সালা দিচ্ছিল, তাতে রাতের বেলায় অন্য লোকের মেষপাল ঢুকে পড়েছিল, আমরা তাদের বিচার কাজ প্রত্যক্ষ করছিলাম।

٧٨ وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِى ٱلْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ ٱلْقَوْمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَٰهِدِينَ
Transliteration
79 Fafahhamna ha sulayma na wakullan a tayna h ukman waAAilman wasakhkharna maAAa da wooda aljiba la yusabbih na waal tt ayra wakunna fa AAileena

79 So We made Sulaiman to understand it; and to each one We gave wisdom and knowledge; and We made the mountains, and the birds to celebrate Our praise with Dawood; and We were the doers.

৭৯ আমরা বিষয়টি সম্পর্কে সুলাইমানকে সঠিক বুঝ দিয়েছিলাম, তবে দুজনকেই দিয়েছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা এবং এলেম। আমরা পাহাড় পর্বত আর পাখিদেরকে অধীনস্থ করে দিয়েছিলাম দাউদের সাথে তারা তসবিহ করতো। এসব কিছুর কর্তা ছিলাম আমরাই।

٧٩ فَفَهَّمْنَٰهَا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَكُلًّا ءَاتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوُۥدَ ٱلْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَٱلطَّيْرَ وَكُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ
Transliteration
80 WaAAallamna hu s anAAata laboosin lakum lituhs inakum min basikum fahal antum sha kiroona
Shakir
80 And We taught him the making of coats of mail for you, that they might protect you in your wars; will you then be grateful?

৮০ আর তোমাদের জন্যে আমরা তাকে বর্ম নির্মাণ শিক্ষা দিয়েছিলাম, যাতে করে তোমাদের যুদ্ধে তা তোমাদের রক্ষা করে। তারপরও কি তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হবেনা?

٨٠ وَعَلَّمْنَٰهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍ لَّكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُم مِّنۢ بَأْسِكُمْ فَهَلْ أَنتُمْ شَٰكِرُونَ
Transliteration
81 Walisulayma na al rreeh a AAas ifatan tajree biamrihi ila alard i allatee ba rakna feeha wakunna bikulli shayin AAa limeena

81 And (We made subservient) to Sulaiman the wind blowing violent, pursuing its course by his command to the land which We had blessed, and We are knower of all things.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৮১ আর আমরা সুলাইমানের অধীন করে দিয়েছিলাম উদ্দাম বাতাসকে, তা তার আদেশক্রমে বয়ে চলতো এমন দেশের দিকে, যেখানে আমরা কল্যাণ রেখেছি, আর প্রত্যেক বিষয়ে আমরা অবগত।

٨١ وَلِسُلَيْمَٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ عَاصِفَةً تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِى بَٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَٰلِمِينَ
Transliteration
82 Wamina al shshayat eeni man yaghoos oona lahu wayaAAmaloona AAamalan doona tha lika wakunna lahum ha fith a

82 And of the rebellious people there were those who dived for him and did other work besides that, and We kept guard over them;

৮২ আর কিছু শয়তান (জিন) তার জন্যে ডুবুরির কাজ করতো। এ ছাড়াও অন্যান্য কাজ করতো। আমরাই ছিলাম তাদের রক্ষক।

٨٢ وَمِنَ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ مَن يَغُوصُونَ لَهُۥ وَيَعْمَلُونَ عَمَلًا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَكُنَّا لَهُمْ حَٰفِظِينَ
Transliteration
83 Waayyooba ith na da rabbahu annee massaniya al dd urru waanta arh amu al rrah imeena
Shakir
83 And Ayub, when he cried to his Lord, (saying): Harm has afflicted me, and Thou art the most Merciful of the merciful.

৮৩ আর স্মরণ করো আইউবের কথা, সে যখন তার প্রভুকে ডেকে বলেছিল: ‘প্রভু! আমার অসুখ হয়েছে, আর তুমি তো সব দয়াময়ের বড় দয়াময়।’

٨٣ وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
Transliteration
84 Fai stajabna lahu fakashafna ma bihi min d urrin waa tayna hu ahlahu wamithlahum maAAahum rah matan min AAindina wath ikra lilAAa bideena
Shakir
84 Therefore We responded to him and took off what harm he had, and We gave him his family and the like of them with them: a mercy from Us and a reminder to the worshippers.

৮৪ তখন আমরা তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছিলাম, তার অসুখ দূর করে দিয়েছিলাম, ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম তার পরিবার পরিজন এবং তাদের সাথে অনুরূপ আরো দিয়েছিলাম আমার বিশেষ রহমত হিসেবে আর ইবাদতকারীদের জন্যে উপদেশ হিসেবে।

٨٤ فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِۦ مِن ضُرٍّ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَٰبِدِينَ
Transliteration
85 Waisma AAeela waidreesa watha alkifli kullun mina al ssa bireena

85 And Ismail and Idris and Zulkifl; all were of the patient ones;

৮৫ আরো স্মরণ করো ইসমাঈল, ইদরিস এবং যুলকিফল - এর কথা। এরা সবাই ছিলো ধৈর্যশীল অবিচল।

86 And We caused them to enter into Our mercy, surely they were of the good ones.

৮৬ আমরা তাদের দাখিল করেছিলাম আমাদের রহমতের মধ্যে। তারা ছিলো যোগ্য ও পুণ্যবান।

Transliteration
87 Watha al nnooni ith th ahaba mughad iban fath a da fee al thth a ti an la ila ha illa anta subha naka innee kuntu mina al thth a limeena
Shakir
87 And Yunus, when he went away in wrath, so he thought that We would not straiten him, so he called out among afflictions: There is no god but Thou, glory be to Thee; surely I am of those who make themselves to suffer loss.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৮৭ আরো স্মরণ করো মাছওয়ালার (ইউনুসের) কথা। সে গোস্বা নিয়ে বের হয়ে গিয়েছিল এবং ধারণা করেছিল আমরা তার বিরুদ্ধে কোনো শাস্তিমূলক পদক্ষেপ নেবোনা। কিন্তু পরে সে অন্ধকার থেকে আমাদের ডেকে বলেছিল: ‘(প্রভু!) তুমি ছাড়া কোনো উদ্ধারকারী নেই, তুমি পবিত্র, মহান। আমি তো যালিম, অন্যায়কারী।’

٨٧ وَذَا ٱلنُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَٰضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَىٰ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ أَن لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Transliteration
88 Fai stajabna lahu wanajjayna hu mina alghammi wakatha lika nunjee almumineena
Shakir
88 So We responded to him and delivered him from the grief and thus do We deliver the believers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৮৮ ফলে আমরা তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছি এবং তাকে উদ্ধার করেছি দুশ্চিন্তা থেকে। এভাবেই আমরা নাজাত দিয়ে থাকি মুমিনদের।

Transliteration
89 Wazakariyya ith na da rabbahu rabbi la tath arnee fardan waanta khayru alwa ritheena
Shakir
89 And Zakariya, when he cried to his Lord: O my Lord leave me not alone; and Thou art the best of inheritors.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৮৯ আরো স্মরণ করো যাকারিয়ার কথা। সে তার প্রভুকে ডেকে বলেছিল: ‘প্রভু! তুমি আমাকে (সন্তানহীন করে) রেখোনা, তুমিই সর্বোত্তম ওয়ারিশ।’

٨٩ وَزَكَرِيَّآ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِى فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ
Transliteration
90 Fai stajabna lahu wawahabna lahu yah ya waas lah na lahu zawjahu innahum ka noo yusa riAAoona fee alkhayra ti wayadAAoonana raghaban warahaban waka noo lana kha shiAAeena
Shakir
90 So We responded to him and gave him Yahya and made his wife fit for him; surely they used to hasten, one with another In deeds of goodness and to call upon Us, hoping and fearing and they were humble before Us.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৯০ ফলে আমরা তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছি এবং তার জন্যে দান করেছি ইয়াহিয়াকে, আর তার জন্যে তার স্ত্রীকে করে দিয়েছি (সন্তান ধারণের) যোগ্য। এরা সবাই ছিলো কল্যাণের কাজে প্রতিযোগিতাকারী। তারা আমাকে ডাকতো আশা ও ভয় নিয়ে এবং তারা ছিলো আমার প্রতি বিনয়ী।

٩٠ فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُۥ زَوْجَهُۥٓ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِى ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًا وَرَهَبًا وَكَانُوا۟ لَنَا خَٰشِعِينَ
Transliteration
91 Waa llatee ahs anat farjaha fanafakhna feeha min rooh ina wajaAAalna ha wai bnaha a yatan lilAAa lameena
Shakir
91 And she who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her of Our inspiration and made her and her son a sign for the nations.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৯১ আর স্মরণ করো ঐ নারীর কথা, যে রক্ষা করেছিল তার সতীত্ব। তারপর আমরা তার মধ্যে ফুঁকে দিয়েছি আমাদের রূহ। আর আমরা তাকে এবং তার পুত্রকে বানিয়েছি জগদ্বাসীর জন্যে একটি নিদর্শন।

٩١ وَٱلَّتِىٓ أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهَا مِن رُّوحِنَا وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا وَٱبْنَهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Transliteration
92 Inna hath ihi ommatukum ommatan wah idatan waana rabbukum faoAAbudooni
Shakir
92 Surely this Islam is your religion, one religion (only), and I am your Lord, therefore serve Me.

৯২ তোমাদের এই সব উম্মত মূলত একই উম্মত এবং আমিই তোমাদের প্রভু, সুতরাং তোমরা কেবল আমারই ইবাদত করো।

Transliteration
93 Wataqatt aAAoo amrahum baynahum kullun ilayna ra jiAAoona

93 And they broke their religion (into sects) between them: to Us shall all come back.

৯৩ কিন্তু তারা তাদের কার্যকলাপ তাদের মাঝে বিচ্ছিন্ন করে নিয়েছে। সবাইকেই ফিরিয়ে আনা হবে আমাদের কাছে।

٩٣ وَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَٰجِعُونَ
Transliteration
94 Faman yaAAmal mina al ssa liha ti wahuwa muminun fala kufra na lisaAAyihi wainna lahu ka tiboona
Shakir
94 Therefore whoever shall do of good deeds and he is a believer, there shall be no denying of his exertion, and surely We will write (It) down for him.

৯৪ যে কেউ মুমিন অবস্থায় আমলে সালেহ্ করবে, তার প্রচেষ্টাকে অস্বীকার করা হবেনা। আমরা তা লিখে রাখছি।

٩٤ فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْيِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ كَٰتِبُونَ
Transliteration
95 Wah ara mun AAala qaryatin ahlakna ha annahum la yarjiAAoona

95 And it is binding on a town which We destroy that they shall not return.

৯৫ যে জনপদ আমরা হালাক করে দিয়েছি, তার জন্যে এটা নিষিদ্ধ যে, তার অধিবাসীরা আর ফিরে আসবেনা।

٩٥ وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَٰهَآ أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Transliteration
96 H atta itha futih at yajooju wamajooju wahum min kulli h adabin yansiloona
Shakir
96 Even when Gog and Magog are let loose and they shall break forth from every elevated place.

৯৬ এমন কি যখন ইয়াজুজ ও মাজুজ (জাতিকে) মুক্তি দেয়া হবে এবং তারা উঁচু ভূমি থেকে ছুটে আসবে,

٩٦ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَنسِلُونَ
Transliteration
97 Wai qtaraba alwaAAdu alh aqqu faitha hiya sha khis atun absa ru allath eena kafaroo ya waylana qad kunna fee ghaflatin min hatha bal kunna th a limeena

97 And the true promise shall draw nigh, then lo! the eyes of those who disbelieved shall be fixedly open: O woe to us! surely we were in a state of heedlessness as to this; nay, we were unjust.

৯৭ এবং প্রতিশ্রুত সময়টি নিকটে আসবে। তখন তা অকস্মাৎ সংঘটিত হতেই কাফিরদের চোখগুলো স্থির হয়ে যাবে। তারা বলবে: হায়, ধ্বংস আমাদের, আমরা তো এ বিষয়ে গাফলতির মধ্যে ছিলাম, বরং আমরা ছিলাম যালিম।

٩٧ وَٱقْتَرَبَ ٱلْوَعْدُ ٱلْحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِىَ شَٰخِصَةٌ أَبْصَٰرُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِى غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَٰذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
Transliteration
98 Innakum wama taAAbudoona min dooni Alla hi h as abu jahannama antum laha wa ridoona

98 Surely you and what you worship besides Allah are the firewood of hell; to it you shall come.

৯৮ হ্যাঁ, তোমরা নিজেরা এবং আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা যাদের ইবাদত করছো তারা সবাই হবে জাহান্নামের জ্বালানি। তোমরা তাতে প্রবেশ করবে।

٩٨ إِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ أَنتُمْ لَهَا وَٰرِدُونَ
Transliteration
99 Law ka na ha ola i a lihatan ma waradooha wakullun feeha kha lidoona
Shakir
99 Had these been gods, they would not have come to it and all shall abide therein.

৯৯ তারা যদি ইলাহ্ হতো, তবে তারা জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করতোনা। তারা প্রত্যেকেই স্থায়ীভাবে থাকবে সেখানে।

Transliteration
100 Lahum feeha zafeerun wahum feeha la yasmaAAoona

100 For them therein shall be groaning and therein they shall not hear.

১০০ সেখানে থাকবে তাদের চিৎকার আর আর্তনাদ এবং তারা কিছুই শুনবেনা সেখানে।

Transliteration
101 Inna allath eena sabaqat lahum minna alh usna ola ika AAanha mubAAadoona

101 Surely (as for) those for whom the good has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it;

১০১ যাদের জন্যে আগে থেকেই আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে কল্যাণের ফায়সালা হয়েছে, তাদেরকে তা থেকে রাখা হবে দূরে।

١٠١ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُم مِّنَّا ٱلْحُسْنَىٰٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ
Transliteration
102 La yasmaAAoona h aseesaha wahum fee ma ishtahat anfusuhum kha lidoona
Shakir
102 They will not hear its faintest sound, and they shall abide in that which their souls long for.

১০২ তারা তার (জাহান্নামের) ক্ষীণতম আওয়াযও শুনবেনা। তারা থাকবে তাদের কাঙ্ক্ষিত ভোগবিলাসে চিরকাল।

١٠٢ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا وَهُمْ فِى مَا ٱشْتَهَتْ أَنفُسُهُمْ خَٰلِدُونَ
Transliteration
103 La yah zunuhumu alfazaAAu alakbaru watatalaqqa humu almala ikatu hatha yawmukumu allath ee kuntum tooAAadoona
Shakir
103 The great fearful event shall not grieve them, and the angels shall meet them: This is your day which you were promised.

১০৩ মহাভীতি তাদেরকে চিন্তিত করবেনা। ফেরেশতারা তাদের সাথে মোলাকাত করে বলবে: ‘এটাই হলো আপনাদের সেইদিন, যার ওয়াদা আপনাদের দেয়া হয়েছিল।’

١٠٣ لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ ٱلْفَزَعُ ٱلْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
Transliteration
104 Yawma nat wee al ssama a kat ayyi al ssijlli lilkutubi kama badana awwala khalqin nuAAeeduhu waAAdan AAalayna inna kunna fa AAileena

104 On the day when We will roll up heaven like the rolling up of the scroll for writings, as We originated the first creation, (so) We shall reproduce it; a promise (binding on Us); surely We will bring it about.

১০৪ সেদিন আমরা আকাশ গুটিয়ে ফেলবো, যেভাবে গুটানো হয় লিখিত দস্তাবেজ। যেভাবে আমরা প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করেছি, সেভাবেই পুনরায় সৃষ্টি করবো। ওয়াদা পালন করা আমাদের দায়িত্ব। আমরা এটা করেই ছাড়বো।

١٠٤ يَوْمَ نَطْوِى ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَىِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ كَمَا بَدَأْنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُۥ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ
Transliteration
105 Walaqad katabna fee al zzaboori min baAAdi al thth ikri anna alard a yarithuha AAiba diya al ssa lih oona

105 And certainly We wrote in the Book after the reminder that (as for) the land, My righteous servants shall inherit it.

১০৫ আমরা যিকির (উপদেশ) - এর পর কিতাবে লিখে রেখেছি, নিশ্চয়ই পৃথিবীর ওয়ারিশ হবে আমার সালেহ্ (যোগ্য) দাসেরা।

107 Wama arsalna ka illa rah matan lilAAa lameena

107 And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds.

১০৭ জগদ্বাসীর জন্যে রহমত (অনুকম্পাও আশীর্বাদ) ছাড়া অন্য কোনো উদ্দেশ্যে আমরা তোমাকে রসূল বানিয়ে পাঠাইনি।

108 Qul innama yooha ilayya annama ila hukum ila hun wah idun fahal antum muslimoona

108 Say: It is only revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah; will you then submit?

১০৮ (হে নবী!) বলো: ‘আমার কাছে অহি করা হয়েছে যে, তোমাদের ইলাহ্ একমাত্র ইলাহ্। সুতরাং তোমরা (তাঁর প্রতি) আত্মসমর্পণকারী হবে কি?’

١٠٨ قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ

109 Fain tawallaw faqul ath antukum AAala sawa in wain adree aqareebun am baAAeedun ma tooAAadoona

109 But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness and I do not know whether what you are threatened with is near or far;

১০৯ তারা যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তুমি বলে দাও: ‘‘আমি তোমাদেরকে যথাযথ আহবান জানিয়েছি। আমি জানিনা, তোমাদেরকে যে বিষয়ে ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে, সেটা কি নিকটে নাকি দূরে।

١٠٩ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ ءَاذَنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍ وَإِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ

110 Innahu yaAAlamu aljahra mina alqawli wayaAAlamu ma taktumoona

110 Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide;

111 Wain adree laAAallahu fitnatun lakum wamata AAun ila h eenin

111 And I do not know if this may be a trial for you and a provision till a time.

১১১ আমি জানিনা, হয়তো এটা তোমাদের জন্যে একটি পরীক্ষা এবং কিছু সময়ের জন্যে জীবন উপভোগ।’’

١١١ وَإِنْ أَدْرِى لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
Transliteration
112 Qa la rabbi oh kum bia lh aqqi warabbuna al rrah ma nu almustaAAa nu AAala ma tas ifoona
Shakir
112 He said: O my Lord! judge Thou with truth; and our Lord is the Beneficent Allah, Whose help is sought against what you ascribe (to Him).

১১২ সে (রসূল) আরো বলেছে: ‘আমার প্রভু! তুমি সত্য ও ন্যায্য ফায়সালা করে দাও। (আর হে মানুষ!) আমাদের প্রভু দয়াময় - রহমান। তোমরা যা বলছো, সে বিষয়ে তাঁরই সাহায্য চাওয়া যেতে পারে।’
