(As for) the fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them, (giving) a hundred stripes, and let not pity for them detain you in the matter of obedience to Allah, if you believe in Allah and the last day, and let a party of believers witness their chastisement.

জিনাকারী নারী এবং জিনাকারী পুরুষ তাদের প্রত্যেককে বেত্রাঘাত করো একশটি করে।১ আল্লাহর আইন বাস্তবায়নে তাদের প্রতি দয়া যেনো তোমাদের প্রভাবিত না করে যদি তোমরা ঈমান রাখো আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং আখিরাতের প্রতি। আর তাদের শাস্তি দেখার জন্যে একদল যেনো উপস্থিত থাকে।
Transliteration
Alzzanee la yankihu illa zaniyatan aw mushrikatan waalzzaniyatu la yankihuha illa zanin aw mushrikun wahurrima thalika AAala almumineena
Shakir
The fornicator shall not marry any but a fornicatress or idolatress, and (as for) the fornicatress, none shall marry her but a fornicator or an idolater; and it is forbidden to the believers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
জিনাকারী বিয়ে করেনা কোনো জিনাকারিনী কিংবা মুশরিক নারী ছাড়া। আর কোনো জিনাকারিনীও বিয়ে করেনা কোনো জিনাকারী কিংবা মুশরিক ছাড়া। এটা হারাম করে দেয়া হলো মুমিনদের জন্যে।
And those who accuse free women then do not bring four witnesses, flog them, (giving) eighty stripes, and do not admit any evidence from them ever; and these it is that are the transgressors,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা সতী সাধ্বী নারীদের প্রতি (ব্যভিচারের) অপবাদ আরোপ করে, তারপর চারজন সাক্ষী হাজির করতে ব্যর্থ হয় তাদেরকে আশিটি বেত্রাঘাত করো এবং কখনো তাদের সাক্ষ্যগ্রহণ করবেনা। কারণ, তারা ফাসিক (সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী)।
Transliteration
Illa allatheena taboo min baAAdi thalika waaslahoo fainna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun
Shakir
Except those who repent after this and act aright, for surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তবে যারা এমনটি করার পর অনুতপ্ত হয়ে তওবা করে এবং নিজেদেরকে সংশোধন করে নেয়, তাদের কথা ভিন্ন। কারণ তো পরম ক্ষমাশীল অতীব দয়াবান।
And (as for) those who accuse their wives and have no witnesses except themselves, the evidence of one of these (should be taken) four times, bearing Allah to witness that he is most surely of the truthful ones.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যারা নিজ স্ত্রীর প্রতি অপবাদ আরোপ করবে, অথচ নিজেরা ছাড়া তাদের আর কোনো সাক্ষী নেই, তাদের একজনের সাক্ষ্যই চার সাক্ষীর সমতুল্য হবে। এভাবে যে, সে আল্লাহর নামে চারবার শপথ করে বলবে, সে অবশ্যি সত্যবাদী।
Transliteration
Waalkhamisatu anna laAAnata Allahi AAalayhi in kana mina alkathibeena
Shakir
And the fifth (time) that the curse of Allah be on him if he is one of the liars.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
পঞ্চমবার বলবে, তার উপর আল্লাহর লা’নত নেমে আসুক যদি সে মিথ্যাবাদী হয়।
And it shall avert the chastisement from her if she testify four times, bearing Allah to witness that he is most surely one of the liars;
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর তার স্ত্রীর দন্ডও রহিত হয়ে যাবে যদি সে চারবার আল্লাহর নামে শপথ করে সাক্ষ্য দেয় যে, তার স্বামী মিথ্যাবাদী।
Transliteration
Waalkhamisata anna ghadaba Allahi AAalayha in kana mina alssadiqeena
Shakir
And the fifth (time) that the wrath of Allah be on her if he is one of the truthful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর পঞ্চমবার বলবে, তার নিজের উপর আল্লাহর গজব নেমে আসুক যদি তার স্বামী সত্যবাদী হয়।
Transliteration
Walawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu waanna Allaha tawwabun hakeemun
Shakir
And were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy - - and that Allah is Oft - returning (to mercy), Wise!
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(তোমাদের কেউই রক্ষা পেতোনা) যদি তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও রহমত না হতো এবং তিনি যদি তওবা কবুলকারী প্রজ্ঞাবান না হতেন।
Transliteration
Inna allatheena jaoo bialifki AAusbatun minkum la tahsaboohu sharran lakum bal huwa khayrun lakum likulli imriin minhum ma iktasaba mina alithmi waallathee tawalla kibrahu minhum lahu AAathabun AAatheemun
Shakir
Surely they who concocted the lie are a party from among you. Do not regard it an evil to you; nay, it is good for you. Every man of them shall have what he has earned of sin; and (as for) him who took upon himself the main part thereof, he shall have a grievous chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা এই অপবাদ রচনা করেছে২ তারা তো তোমাদেরই একটি গ্রুপ। এ ঘটনাকে তোমাদের জন্যে ক্ষতিকর মনে করোনা, বরং ওটা তোমাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর। এ মিথ্যা ঘটনা রটনাকারী প্রত্যেকের জন্যে তাই রয়েছে, যে যা পাপ কামাই করেছে। আর তাদের মধ্যে যে ব্যক্তি৩ এ ব্যাপারে প্রধান ভূমিকা পালন করেছে তার জন্যে রয়েছে বিরাট আযাব।
And were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy in this world and the hereafter, a grievous chastisement would certainly have touched you on account of the discourse which you entered into.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের প্রতি যদি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ এবং রহমত না হতো, তাহলে তোমরা যে অন্যায়ে লিপ্ত হয়েছিলে তার জন্যে তোমাদের দুনিয়া এবং আখিরাতে স্পর্শ করতো মহাশাস্তি।
When you received it with your tongues and spoke with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, and you deemed it an easy matter while with Allah it was grievous.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা মুখে মুখে তা ছড়াচ্ছিলে এবং মুখে এমন বিষয় উচ্চারণ করে যাচ্ছিলে যার কোনো এলেম তোমাদের ছিলনা। তোমরা এটাকে মনে করছিলে সহজ। অথচ এটা ছিলো এক জঘন্য বিষয় আল্লাহর কাছে।
Transliteration
Walawla ith samiAAtumoohu qultum ma yakoonu lana an natakallama bihatha subhanaka hatha buhtanun AAatheemun
Shakir
And why did you not, when you heard it, say: It does not beseem us that we should talk of it; glory be to Thee! this is a great calumny?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা এই (অপবাদ) শুনার সাথে সাথে কেন বললেনা: ‘এ বিষয়ে আমাদের কথা বলা উচিত নয়, পবিত্র, এ - তো এক বিরাট অপবাদ।’
Transliteration
YaAAithukumu Allahu an taAAoodoo limithlihi abadan in kuntum mumineena
Shakir
Allah admonishes you that you should not return to the like of it ever again if you are believers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের ওয়ায (উপদেশ) করছেন, তোমরা যেনো অনুরূপ কাজে আর কখনো জড়িত না হও, যদি তোমরা হয়ে থাকো।
And Allah makes clear to you the communications; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের জন্যে পরিষ্কারভাবে বয়ান করছেন আয়াতসমূহ। জ্ঞানী এবং প্রজ্ঞাবান।
Transliteration
Inna allatheena yuhibboona an tasheeAAa alfahishatu fee allatheena amanoo lahum AAathabun aleemun fee alddunya waalakhirati waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona
Shakir
Surely (as for) those who love that scandal should circulate respecting those who believe, they shall have a grievous chastisement in this world and the hereafter; and Allah knows, while you do not know.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা মুমিনদের মাঝে ফাহেশার প্রচার প্রসার পছন্দ করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব দুনিয়া এবং আখিরাতে। জানেন, তোমরা জানোনা।
Transliteration
Walawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu waanna Allaha raoofun raheemun
Shakir
And were it not for Allah's grace on you and His mercy, and that Allah is Compassionate, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(তোমরা রক্ষা পেতেনা) যদি তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ এবং রহমত না হতো এবং যদি কোমল ও দয়াবান না হতেন।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytani waman yattabiAA khutuwati alshshaytani fainnahu yamuru bialfahshai waalmunkari walawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu ma zaka minkum min ahadin abadan walakinna Allaha yuzakkee man yashao waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun
Shakir
O you who believe! do not follow the footsteps of the Shaitan, and whoever follows the footsteps of the Shaitan, then surely he bids the doing of indecency and evil; and were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have ever been pure, but Allah purifies whom He pleases; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা ইত্তেবা (অনুসরণ) করোনা শয়তানের পদাংক। যে কেউ ইত্তেবা করবে শয়তানের পদাংকের, সে জেনে রাখুক, শয়তান নিশ্চয়ই নির্দেশ দেয় ফাহেশা এবং গর্হিত কাজের। তোমাদের প্রতি যদি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ এবং রহমত না হতো, তাহলে তোমাদের কেউ কখনো পবিত্র থাকতে পারতোনা। আল্লাহ্ই পবিত্র রাখেন যাকে ইচ্ছা করেন। সব শুনেন, সব জানেন।
Transliteration
Wala yatali oloo alfadli minkum waalssaAAati an yutoo olee alqurba waalmasakeena waalmuhajireena fee sabeeli Allahi walyaAAfoo walyasfahoo ala tuhibboona an yaghfira Allahu lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
Shakir
And let not those of you who possess grace and abundance swear against giving to the near of kin and the poor and those who have fled in Allah's way, and they should pardon and turn away. Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ধন - মালে প্রাচুর্যের অধিকারী তারা যেনো কসম খেয়ে না বলে যে, তারা আত্মীয় - স্বজন, মিসকিন (অভাবী) এবং আল্লাহর পথে হিজরতকারীদের কিছুই দেবেনা। তারা যেনো তাদের ক্ষমা করে দেয় এবং তাদের দোষ - ত্রুটি উপেক্ষা করে। তোমরা কি চাওনা যে, তোমাদের ক্ষমা করে দিন? আর তো পরম ক্ষমাশীল দয়াবান।
Surely those who accuse chaste believing women, unaware (of the evil), are cursed in this world and the hereafter, and they shall have a grievous chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা সতী সাধ্বী সরলমনা নারীদের প্রতি অপবাদ আরোপ করে, তাদের প্রতি লা’নত বর্ষিত হয়েছে দুনিয়া এবং আখিরাতে, আর তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিরাট আযাব।
Unclean things are for unclean ones and unclean ones are for unclean things, and the good things are for good ones and the good ones are for good things; these are free from what they say; they shall have forgiveness and an honorable sustenance.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
খবিছ নারীরা খবিছ পুরুষদের জন্যে এবং খবিছ পুরুষরা খবিছ নারীদের জন্যে। আর পবিত্র নারীরা পবিত্র পুরুষদের জন্যে এবং পবিত্র পুরুষরা পবিত্র নারীদের জন্যে। লোকেরা যা বলে তা থেকে এরা পবিত্র। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মাগফিরাত এবং সম্মানজনক রিযিক।
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra buyootikum hatta tastanisoo watusallimoo AAala ahlihathalikum khayrun lakum laAAallakum tathakkaroona
Shakir
O you who believe! Do not enter houses other than your own houses until you have asked permission and saluted their inmates; this is better for you, that you may be mindful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা! তোমরা নিজেদের ঘর ছাড়া অন্য ঘরে অনুমতি না নিয়ে এবং ঘরবাসীদের সালাম না দিয়ে ঢুকে পড়োনা। এটাই তোমাদের জন্যে উত্তম নিয়ম। আশা করা যায় তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে।
But if you do not find any one therein, then do not enter them until permission is given to you; and if it is said to you: Go back, then go back; this is purer for you; and Allah is Cognizant of what you do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যদি তোমরা ঘরে কাউকেও না পাও, তাহলে তোমরা সে ঘরে প্রবেশ করোনা যতোক্ষণ না তোমাদের অনুমতি দেয়া হয়। আর যদি তোমাদের ফিরে যেতে বলা হয়, তবে ফিরে যাও। এটাই তোমাদের জন্যে পবিত্রতম পন্থা। জ্ঞাত তোমরা যা আমল করো।
Transliteration
Laysa AAalaykum junahun an tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra maskoonatin feeha mataAAun lakum waAllahu yaAAlamu ma tubdoona wama taktumoona
Shakir
It is no sin in you that you enter uninhabited houses wherein you have your necessaries; and Allah knows what you do openly and what you hide.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এমন ঘরে প্রবেশ করার মধ্যে তোমাদের কোনো দোষ হবেনা, যে ঘরে কেউ বসবাস করেনা যদি সেখানে তোমাদের মাল সামগ্রী থাকে। তোমরা কী প্রকাশ করো আর কী গোপন করো তা জানেন।
Transliteration
Qul lilmumineena yaghuddoo min absarihum wayahfathoo furoojahum thalika azka lahum inna Allaha khabeerun bima yasnaAAoona
Shakir
Say to the believing men that they cast down their looks and guard their private parts; that is purer for them; surely Allah is Aware of what they do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী! পুরুষদের বলো: তারা যেনো (নারীদের থেকে) নিজেদের দৃষ্টি সংযত রাখে এবং হিফাযত করে নিজেদের যৌন জীবনকে। এটা তাদের জন্যে পবিত্রতম পন্থা। তারা যা করে সে বিষয়ে ভালোভাবে অবহিত।
Transliteration
Waqul lilmuminati yaghdudna min absarihinna wayahfathna furoojahunna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa mathahara minha walyadribna bikhumurihinna AAala juyoobihinna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa libuAAoolatihinna aw abaihinna aw abai buAAoolatihinna aw abnaihinna aw abnai buAAoolatihinna aw ikhwanihinna aw banee ikhwanihinna aw banee akhawatihinna aw nisaihinna aw ma malakat aymanuhunna awi alttabiAAeena ghayri olee alirbati mina alrrijali awi alttifli allatheena lam yathharoo AAala AAawrati alnnisai wala yadribna biarjulihinna liyuAAlama ma yukhfeena min zeenatihinna watooboo ila Allahi jameeAAan ayyuha almuminoona laAAallakum tuflihoona

And say to the believing women that they cast down their looks and guard their private parts and do not display their ornaments except what appears thereof, and let them wear their head - coverings over their bosoms, and not display their ornaments except to their husbands or their fathers, or the fathers of their husbands, or their sons, or the sons of their husbands, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or those whom their right hands possess, or the male servants not having need (of women), or the children who have not attained knowledge of what is hidden of women; and let them not strike their feet so that what they hide of their ornaments may be known; and turn to Allah all of you, O believers! so that you may be .
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর নারীদের বলো, তারা যেনো (পুরুষদের থেকে) নিজেদের দৃষ্টি সংযত রাখে এবং হিফাযত করে নিজেদের যৌন জীবন। যা সাধারণত প্রকাশ থাকে, তা ছাড়া নিজেদের যীনত (সৌন্দর্য) যেনো তারা প্রকাশ না করে। তাদের চাদর (বা ওড়না) দিয়ে যেনো তাদের গলা এবং বক্ষ ঢেকে রাখে। তারা যেনো তাদের যীনত (সৌন্দর্য) প্রকাশ না করে এদের সম্মুখে ছাড়া: তাদের স্বামী, পিতা, শ্বশুর, ছেলে, স্বামীর ছেলে, ভাই, ভাইয়ের ছেলে, বোনপুত, আপন নারীকুল, তাদের মালিকানাধীন দাস - দাসী, যৌন কামনাহীন পুরুষ এবং নারীদের গোপন অঙ্গসমূহ সম্পর্কে চেতনাহীন শিশু। তারা যেনো তাদের গোপন সৌন্দর্য প্রকাশের উদ্দেশ্যে সজোরে পা ফেলে না চলে। হে মুমিনরা! তোমরা সবাই অনুতপ্ত হয়ে আল্লাহর দিকে ফিরে আসো, যাতে করে তোমরা অর্জন করো সফলতা।
Transliteration
Waankihoo alayama minkum waalssaliheena min AAibadikum waimaikum in yakoonoo fuqaraa yughnihimu Allahu min fadlihi waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun
Shakir
And marry those among you who are single and those who are fit among your male slaves and your female slaves; if they are needy, Allah will make them free from want out of His grace; and Allah is Ample - giving, Knowing.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের মধ্যে যাদের স্বামী নেই এবং যাদের স্ত্রী নেই, তাদের বিয়ে দিয়ে দাও, আর তোমাদের দাস দাসীদের মধ্যে যারা সৎ তাদেরকেও। তারা যদি অভাবী হয়ে থাকে, তবে নিজ অনুগ্রহে তাদের অভাবমুক্ত করবেন। উদার, জ্ঞানী।
Transliteration
WalyastaAAfifi allatheena la yajidoona nikahan hatta yughniyahumu Allahu min fadlihi waallatheena yabtaghoona alkitaba mimma malakat aymanukum fakatiboohum in AAalimtum feehim khayran waatoohum min mali Allahi allathee atakum wala tukrihoo fatayatikum AAala albighai in aradna tahassunan litabtaghoo AAarada alhayati alddunya waman yukrihhunna fainna Allaha min baAAdi ikrahihinna ghafoorun raheemun
Shakir
And let those who do not find the means to marry keep chaste until Allah makes them free from want out of His grace. And (as for) those who ask for a writing from among those whom your right hands possess, give them the writing if you know any good in them, and give them of the wealth of Allah which He has given you; and do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, when they desire to keep chaste, in order to seek the frail good of this world's life; and whoever compels them, then surely after their compulsion Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যাদের বিয়ে করার (আর্থিক) সামর্থ নেই, তাদেরকে তাঁর অনুগ্রহে অভাবমুক্ত করা পর্যন্ত তারা যেনো সংযম অবলম্বন করে। তোমাদের দাসদাসীদের মধ্যে কেউ তার মুক্তির জন্যে লিখিত চুক্তি করতে চাইলে তোমরা তাদের সাথে লিখিত চুক্তি করে নাও, যদি তোমরা তাদের মধ্যে কল্যাণ দেখতে পাও। আর তোমাদের যে সম্পদ দিয়েছেন তা থেকে তাদের দান করো। পার্থিব জীবনের (অর্থ) লোভে তোমরা তোমাদের দাসীদেরকে ব্যভিচারে বাধ্য করোনা যদি তারা তাদের সতীত্ব রক্ষা করতে চায়। আর কেউ তাদেরকে বাধ্য করলে, বাধ্য হওয়াদের ব্যাপারে ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াময়।
Transliteration
Walaqad anzalna ilaykum ayatin mubayyinatin wamathalan mina allatheena khalaw min qablikum wamawAAithatan lilmuttaqeena
Shakir
And certainly We have sent to you clear communications and a description of those who have passed away before you, and an admonition to those who guard (against evil).
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তোমাদের কাছে নাযিল করেছি সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ এবং তোমাদের আগেকার লোকদের উদাহরণ আর সতর্ক সচেতন লোকদের জন্যে উপদেশ।
Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth; a likeness of His light is as a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp is in a glass, (and) the glass is as it were a brightly shining star, lit from a blessed olive - tree, neither eastern nor western, the oil whereof almost gives light though fire touch it not - - light upon light - - Allah guides to His light whom He pleases, and Allah sets forth parables for men, and Allah is Cognizant of all things.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীর নূর। তাঁর নূরের উপমা হলো একটি প্রদীপ ঘর। তাতে আছে প্রদীপ। প্রদীপটি স্থাপিত একটি কাঁচের পরিবেষ্টনীর মধ্যে। কাঁচের পরিবেষ্টনীটি যেনো উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্র। সেটি জ্বালানো হয় পবিত্র যয়তুন গাছের তেল দিয়ে। সেটি পূর্বেরও নয়, পশ্চিমেরও নয়। আগুন সেটিকে স্পর্শ না করলেও যেনো সেটির তেলই ছড়াচ্ছে উজ্জ্বল আলো। নূরের উপর নূর। যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ দেখান তাঁর নূরের দিকে। মানুষের জন্যে এভাবেই দৃষ্টান্ত দিয়ে থাকেন। সব বিষয়ে জ্ঞানী।
In houses which Allah has permitted to be exalted and that His name may be remembered in them; there glorify Him therein in the mornings and the evenings,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেইসব ঘর, যেসব ঘরে তাঁর নাম সমুন্নত ও স্মরণ করতে অনুমতি দিয়েছেন, সকাল - সন্ধ্যায় সেগুলোতে তাঁর তসবিহ করে
Men whom neither merchandise nor selling diverts from the remembrance of Allah and the keeping up of prayer and the giving of poor - rate; they fear a day in which the hearts and eyes shall turn about;
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেইসব লোক, যাদেরকে ব্যবসা - বাণিজ্য ও বেচা - কেনা বিরত রাখেনা আল্লাহর যিকির, কায়েম ও যাকাত প্রদান থেকে। তারা ভয় করে সেই দিনটিকে যেদিন মানুষের অন্তর আর চোখ উল্টে যাবে।
Transliteration
Liyajziyahumu Allahu ahsana ma AAamiloo wayazeedahum min fadlihi waAllahu yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin
Shakir
That Allah may give them the best reward of what they have done, and give them more out of His grace; and Allah gives sustenance to whom He pleases without measure.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যাতে করে তাদের আমলের উত্তম পুরস্কার তাদের দিতে পারেন এবং বৃদ্ধি করে দিতে পারেন তাঁর অনুগ্রহ থেকে। আর যাকে ইচ্ছা রিযিক দিয়ে থাকেন বিনা হিসাবে।
Transliteration
Waallatheena kafaroo aAAmaluhum kasarabin biqeeAAatin yahsabuhu alththamanu maan hatta itha jaahu lam yajidhu shayan wawajada Allaha AAindahu fawaffahu hisabahu waAllahu sareeAAu alhisabi

And (as for) those who disbelieve, their deeds are like the mirage in a desert, which the thirsty man deems to be water; until when he comes to it he finds it to be naught, and there he finds Allah, so He pays back to him his reckoning in full; and Allah is quick in reckoning;
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যারা কুফুরি করে, তাদের আমলের উপমা হলো মরুভূমির মরীচিকা, পীপাসার্ত ব্যক্তি যাকে মনে করে পানি। যখন সে সেখানে এসে পৌঁছে, কিছুই পায়না। সে তো সেখানে পায় কেবল আল্লাহকে। তিনি তাকে তার কর্মফল পূর্ণমাত্রায় দিয়ে দেবেন, আর দ্রুত হিসাবগ্রহণকারী।
Transliteration
Aw kathulumatin fee bahrin lujjiyyin yaghshahu mawjun min fawqihi mawjun min fawqihi sahabun thulumatun baAAduha fawqa baAAdin itha akhraja yadahu lam yakad yaraha waman lam yajAAali Allahu lahu nooran fama lahu min noorin

Or like utter darkness in the deep sea: there covers it a wave above which is another wave, above which is a cloud, (layers of) utter darkness one above another; when he holds out his hand, he is almost unable to see it; and to whomsoever Allah does not give light, he has no light.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অথবা (তাদের আমলের) উপমা হলো গভীর সমুদ্রের অন্ধকাররাশি, যাকে ঢেকে রাখে ঢেউয়ের উপর ঢেউ, তার উপর কালো মেঘপুঞ্জ। অন্ধকার রাশির স্তর একটির উপর একটি। সে যখন তার হাত বের করে, আদৌ দেখতে পায় না। যাকে নূর দান করেন না, তার কোনো নূর নেই।
Transliteration
Alam tara anna Allaha yusabbihu lahu man fee alssamawati waalardi waalttayru saffatin kullun qad AAalima salatahu watasbeehahu waAllahu AAaleemun bima yafAAaloona
Shakir
Do you not see that Allah is He Whom do glorify all those who are in the heavens and the earth, and the (very) birds with expanded wings? He knows the prayer of each one and its glorification, and Allah is Cognizant of what they do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি দেখোনা মহাকাশ এবং পৃথিবীতে যারাই আছে তারা সবাই এবং উড়ন্ত পাখিকুল তসবিহ করছে আল্লাহর। তারা প্রত্যেকেই জেনেছে তার (ইবাদত) ও তসবিহর পদ্ধতি। তারা যা করে তা জ্ঞাত আছেন।
And Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and to Allah is the eventual coming.

মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীর কর্তৃত্ব আল্লাহর এবং আল্লাহর কাছেই হবে সবার প্রত্যাবর্তন।
Transliteration
Alam tara anna Allaha yuzjee sahaban thumma yuallifu baynahu thumma yajAAaluhu rukaman fatara alwadqa yakhruju min khilalihi wayunazzilu mina alssamai min jibalin feeha min baradin fayuseebu bihi man yashao wayasrifuhu AAan man yashao yakadu sana barqihi yathhabu bialabsari

Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down of the clouds that are (like) mountains wherein is hail, afflicting therewith whom He pleases and turning it away from whom He pleases; the flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কি দেখোনা, আল্লাহ্ই তো পরিচালিত করেন মেঘমালাকে, তারপর সেগুলোকে একত্র করেন, অত:পর পুঞ্জীভুত করেন, তারপর তুমি দেখতে পাও সেগুলোর ভেতর থেকে বেরিয়ে আসে বৃষ্টির পানি। আকাশের জমে যাওয়া মেঘস্তূপ থেকে তিনি বর্ষণ করেন শিলা, আর তা দিয়ে তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা আঘাত করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা তা থেকে রক্ষা করেন উপর থেকে সরিয়ে দিয়ে। তার বিদ্যুতের ঝলক দৃষ্টি প্রায় কেড়ে নেয়।
Allah turns over the night and the day; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight.

আল্লাহ্ই পরিবর্তন ঘটান রাত আর দিনের। দৃষ্টিবান লোকদের জন্যে এতে রয়েছে একটি শিক্ষা।
Transliteration
WaAllahu khalaqa kulla dabbatin min main faminhum man yamshee AAala batnihi waminhum man yamshee AAala rijlayni waminhum man yamshee AAala arbaAAin yakhluqu Allahu ma yashao inna Allaha AAala kulli shayin qadeerun
Shakir
And Allah has created from water every living creature: so of them is that which walks upon its belly, and of them is that which walks upon two feet, and of them is that which walks upon four; Allah creates what He pleases; surely Allah has power over all things.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
প্রতিটি জীবকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন পানি থেকে। তাদের কিছু জীব চলে পেটে ভর দিয়ে, কিছু চলে দুই পায়ে এবং কিছু চলে চার পায়ে। সৃষ্টি করেন যা তিনি চান। নিশ্চয়ই সব বিষয়ে শক্তিমান।
Transliteration
Laqad anzalnaayatin mubayyinatin waAllahu yahdee man yashao ilasiratin mustaqeemin
Shakir
Certainly We have revealed clear communications, and Allah guides whom He pleases to the right way.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
নিশ্চয়ই আমরা নাযিল করেছি সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ। যাকে ইচ্ছা হিদায়াত করেন সিরাতুল মুস্তাকিমের দিকে।
And if the truth be on their side, they come to him quickly, obedient.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর যদি তাদের প্রাপ্য কোনো অধিকারের বিষয় হয়, তখন তারা বিনীত হয়ে রসূলের কাছে ছুটে আসে।
Transliteration
Afee quloobihim maradun ami irtaboo am yakhafoona an yaheefa Allahu AAalayhim warasooluhu bal olaika humu alththalimoona
Shakir
Is there in their hearts a disease, or are they in doubt, or do they fear that Allah and His Apostle will act wrongfully towards them? Nay! they themselves are the unjust.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের অন্তরে কি ব্যাধি আছে, নাকি তারা সংশয়ে নিমজ্জিত? আর নাকি তারা ভয় করে যে, এবং তাঁর রসূল তাদের প্রতি যুলুম করবেন? আসল কথা হলো তারা যালিম।
Transliteration
Innama kana qawla almumineena itha duAAoo ila Allahi warasoolihi liyahkuma baynahum an yaqooloo samiAAna waataAAna waolaika humu almuflihoona
Shakir
The response of the believers, when they are invited to Allah and His Apostle that he may judge between them, is only to say: We hear and we obey; and these it is that are the .
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মুমিনদেরকে যখন ও আল্লাহর রসূলের দিকে ডাকা হয় তাদের মাঝে ফায়সালা করে দেয়ার জন্যে তখন তাদের কথা একটাই হয়ে থাকে যে, ‘আমরা শুনলাম এবং মেনে নিলাম।’ এসব লোকই হবে ।
Transliteration
Waman yutiAAi Allaha warasoolahu wayakhsha Allaha wayattaqhi faolaika humu alfaizoona
Shakir
And he who obeys Allah and His Apostle, and fears Allah, and is careful of (his duty to) Him, these it is that are the achievers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা ও তাঁর রসূলের ইতায়াত (আনুগত্য) করে, আল্লাহকে ভয় করে এবং তাঁর অবাধ্যতা থেকে আত্মরক্ষা করে, তারাই অর্জন করবে সাফল্য।
Transliteration
Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihim lain amartahum layakhrujunna qul la tuqsimoo taAAatun maAAroofatun inna Allaha khabeerun bima taAAmaloona
Shakir
And they swear by Allah with the most energetic of their oaths that if you command them they would certainly go forth. Say: Swear not; reasonable obedience (is desired); surely Allah is aware of what you do.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা (মুনাফিকরা) শক্তভাবে আল্লাহর নামে কসম খেয়ে বলে, তুমি তাদের নির্দেশ দিলে তারা অবশ্যি (যুদ্ধে) বের হবে। বলো: তোমরা কসম খেয়োনা, তোমাদের থেকে প্রচলিত আনুগ্যতই কাম্য। তোমরা যা করো সে বিষয়ে গভীরভাবে অবহিত।
Say: Obey Allah and obey the Apostle; but if you turn back, then on him rests that which is imposed on him and on you rests that which is imposed on you; and if you obey him, you are on the right way; and nothing rests on the Apostle but clear delivering (of the message).

হে নবী! বলো: তোমরা আনুগত্য করো আল্লাহর এবং আনুগত্য করো এই রসূলের। যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তার (রসূলের) প্রতি অর্পিত দায়িত্বের জন্যে সে - ই দায়ী হবে, আর তোমরা দায়ী হবে তোমাদের উপর অর্পিত দায়িত্বের জন্যে। তোমরা যদি আনুগত্য করো, তবেই সঠিক পথ পাবে। স্পষ্টভাবে বার্তা পৌঁছে দেয়া ছাড়া আমাদের রসূলের উপর আর কোনো দায়িত্ব নেই।
Transliteration
WaAAada Allahu allatheena amanoo minkum waAAamiloo alssalihati layastakhlifannahum fee alardi kama istakhlafa allatheena min qablihim walayumakkinanna lahum deenahumu allathee irtada lahum walayubaddilannahum min baAAdi khawfihim amnan yaAAbudoonanee la yushrikoona bee shayan waman kafara baAAda thalika faolaika humu alfasiqoona

Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as He made rulers those before them, and that He will most certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and that He will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; they shall serve Me, not associating aught with Me; and whoever is ungrateful after this, these it is who are the. transgressors.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা ঈমান আনে এবং আমলে সালেহ্ করে, তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দিচ্ছেন, তিনি তাদের ভূ - খন্ডে প্রতিনিধিত্ব (রাষ্ট্রক্ষমতা) দান করবেন, যেমন তিনি রাষ্ট্র ক্ষমতা দান করেছিলেন তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের। তিনি তাদের জন্যে প্রতিষ্ঠিতি করে দেবেন তাদের দীনকে, যা তিনি তাদের জন্যে মনোনীত করেছেন এবং তাদেরকে ত্রাস ও ভীতির বদলে দেবেন শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তা। তখন তারা কেবল আমারই দাসত্ব করবে এবং আমার সাথে কাউকেও শরিক করবেনা। তবে এরপরও যারা কুফুরি করবে তারা হবে ফাসিক (সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী পাপিষ্ঠ)।
O you who believe! let those whom your right hands possess and those of you who have not attained to puberty ask permission of you three times; before the morning prayer, and when you put off your clothes at midday in summer, and after the prayer of the nightfall; these are three times of privacy for you; neither is it a sin for you nor for them besides these, some of you must go round about (waiting) upon others; thus does Allah make clear to you the communications, and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে লোকেরা, তোমাদের মালিকানাধীন দাসদাসীরা এবং তোমাদের যারা এখনো বয়োপ্রাপ্ত হয়নি, তারা যেনো তিনটি সময় তোমাদের কক্ষে প্রবেশ কালে অনুমতি নেয়: ফজর সালাতের আগে, দুপুরে যখন তোমাদের পোশাক খুলে রাখো তখন এবং এশার সালাতের পরে। এই তিনটি তোমাদের গোপনীয়তা অবলম্বনের সময়। এই সময় ছাড়া বাকি সময়ে অনুমতি ছাড়া প্রবেশ করলে তোমাদেরও এবং তাদেরও কোনো দোষ হবেনা। তোমাদের একে অপরের কাছে তো যাতায়াত করতেই হয়। এভাবেই বয়ান করেন তোমাদের জন্যে তাঁর আয়াতসমূহ। জ্ঞানী ও প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Transliteration
Waitha balagha alatfalu minkumu alhuluma falyastathinoo kama istathana allatheena min qablihim kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun
Shakir
And when the children among you have attained to puberty, let them seek permission as those before them sought permission; thus does Allah make clear to you His communications, and Allah is knowing, Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের বাচ্চারা যখন বয়োপ্রাপ্ত হয়, তখন তারাও যেনো অনুমতি চেয়ে নেয় যেভাবে অনুমতি নেয় তাদের বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠরা। এভাবেই বর্ণনা করেন তোমাদের জন্যে তাঁর আয়াত। জ্ঞানী ও প্রজ্ঞাবান।
Transliteration
WaalqawaAAidu mina alnnisai allatee la yarjoona nikahan falaysa AAalayhinna junahun an yadaAAna thiyabahunna ghayra mutabarrijatin bizeenatin waan yastaAAfifna khayrun lahunna waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun
Shakir
And (as for) women advanced in years who do not hope for a marriage, it is no sin for them if they put off their clothes without displaying their ornaments; and if they restrain themselves it is better for them; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
বৃদ্ধ নারীরা, যারা বিয়ের আশা রাখেনা, তারা যদি তাদের সৌন্দর্য প্রকাশ না করে বহিরাবরণ খুলে রাখে, তবে তাদের কোনো দোষ হবেনা। তবে সংযত থাকাই তাদের জন্যে উত্তম। সব শুনেন, সব জানেন।
Transliteration
Laysa AAala alaAAmaharajun wala AAala alaAAraji harajun wala AAala almareedi harajun wala AAala anfusikum an takuloo min buyootikum aw buyooti abaikum aw buyooti ommahatikum aw buyooti ikhwanikum aw buyooti akhawatikum aw buyooti aAAmamikum aw buyooti AAammatikum aw buyooti akhwalikum aw buyooti khalatikum aw ma malaktum mafatihahu aw sadeeqikum laysa AAalaykum junahun an takuloo jameeAAan aw ashtatan faitha dakhaltum buyootan fasallimoo AAala anfusikum tahiyyatan min AAindi Allahi mubarakatan tayyibatan kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakumu alayati laAAallakum taAAqiloona

There is no blame on the blind man, nor is there blame on the lame, nor is there blame on the sick, nor on yourselves that you eat from your houses, or your fathers' houses or your mothers' houses, or your brothers' houses, or your sisters' houses, or your paternal uncles' houses, or your paternal aunts' houses, or your maternal uncles' houses, or your maternal aunts' houses, or what you possess the keys of, or your friends' (houses). It is no sin in you that you eat together or separately. So when you enter houses, greet your people with a salutation from Allah, blessed (and) goodly; thus does Allah make clear to you the communications that you may understand.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অন্ধদের দোষ নেই, খোড়াদের দোষ নেই এবং রোগীদেরও দোষ নেই (তারা যদি অনুমতি ছাড়া কারো কিছু খেয়ে নেয়), আর তোমাদের নিজেদেরও দোষ হবেনা তোমরা যদি (অনুমতি ছাড়া) খাও তোমাদের নিজেদের ঘরে, তোমাদের পিতাদের ঘরে, তোমাদের মায়েদের ঘরে, তোমাদের ভাইদের ঘরে, তোমাদের বোনদের ঘরে, তোমাদের চাচাদের ঘরে, তোমাদের ফুফুদের ঘরে, তোমাদের মামাদের ঘরে, তোমাদের খালাদের ঘরে, সেইসব ঘরে যেসব ঘরের চাবি তোমাদের অধিকারে থাকে এবং তোমাদের বন্ধুদের ঘরে। তোমরা একত্রে খাও কিংবা আলাদা আলাদা খাও তাতে তোমাদের কোনো দোষ হবেনা। যখনই তোমরা ঘরে দাখিল হবে নিজেদের প্রতি সালাম করবে। এটি আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে দেয়া অভিবাদন কল্যাণময় ও উত্তম। এভাবেই তোমাদের জন্যে বয়ান করেন আয়াতসমূহ বিস্তারিতভাবে, যাতে করে তোমরা আকল খাটাও।
Transliteration
Innama almuminoona allatheena amanoo biAllahi warasoolihi waitha kanoo maAAahu AAala amrin jamiAAin lam yathhaboo hatta yastathinoohu inna allatheena yastathinoonaka olaika allatheena yuminoona biAllahi warasoolihi faitha istathanooka libaAAdi shanihim fathan liman shita minhum waistaghfir lahumu Allaha inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

Only those are believers who believe in Allah and His Apostle, and when they are with him on a momentous affair they go not away until they have asked his permission; surely they who ask your permission are they who believe in Allah and His Apostle; so when they ask your permission for some affair of theirs, give permission to whom you please of them and ask forgiveness for them from Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তো তারাই, যারা ঈমান আনে আল্লাহর প্রতি ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি, আর রসূলের সাথে সামষ্টিক বিষয়ে একত্র হলে তারা অনুমতি ছাড়া চলে যায়না। যারা (প্রয়োজনে) তোমার কাছে অনুমতি চায় তারাই ঈমান রাখে আল্লাহর প্রতি এবং তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি। তারা তাদের কোনো প্রয়োজনে (বৈঠক থেকে) বাইরে যেতে তোমার কাছে অনুমতি চাইলে তুমি যাকে ইচ্ছা অনুমতি দেবে এবং তাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে মাগফিরাত প্রার্থনা করবে। কারণ তো অতীব ক্ষমাশীল দয়াময়।
Transliteration
La tajAAaloo duAAaa alrrasooli baynakum kaduAAai baAAdikum baAAdan qad yaAAlamu Allahu allatheena yatasallaloona minkum liwathan falyahthari allatheena yukhalifoona AAan amrihi an tuseebahum fitnatun aw yuseebahum AAathabun aleemun
Shakir
Do not hold the Apostle's calling (you) among you to be like your calling one to the other; Allah indeed knows those who steal away from among you, concealing themselves; therefore let those beware who go against his order lest a trial afflict them or there befall them a painful chastisement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(হে মুমিনরা!) রসূলের আহবানকে তোমাদের পরস্পরকে আহবান করার সমতুল্য মনে করোনা। তোমাদের যারা (রসূলের ডাকা বৈঠক থেকে) অনুমতি ছাড়াই সরে পড়ে, তাদের জানেন। সুতরাং যারা তার আদেশের বিরুদ্ধাচারণ করে তারা যেনো সতর্ক হয় এ জন্যে যে, তাদের উপর ফিতনা এসে পড়তে পারে, কিংবা তাদের উপর আপতিত হতে পারে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব।
Transliteration
Ala inna lillahi ma fee alssamawati waalardi qad yaAAlamu ma antum AAalayhi wayawma yurjaAAoona ilayhi fayunabbiohum bima AAamiloo waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun
Shakir
Now surely Allah's is whatever is in the heavens and the earth; He knows indeed that to which you are conforming yourselves; and on the day on which they are returned to Him He will inform them of what they did; and Allah is Cognizant of all things.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সাবধান, জেনে রাখো, মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই আল্লাহর। তোমরা যেসব কাজে নিরত আছো সবই জানেন। যেদিন তাদেরকে তাঁর (আল্লাহর) কাছে ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে সেদিন তিনি তাদের অবহিত করবেন তারা কী কাজ করেছিল? প্রতিটি বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত।
