Chapter 85, 22 verses
Waalssamai thati alburooji
বিসমিল্লাহির রাহমা-নির রাহি-ম অস্সামা-য়ি যা-তিল্ বুরূজ্বি
I swear by the mansions of the stars,
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ
Waalyawmi almawAAoodi
অল্ইয়াওমিল্ মাও'ঊদি।
And the promised day,
وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ
Washahidin wamashhoodin
অশা-হিদিঁও অমাশ্হূদ্।
And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne.
وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ
Qutila ashabu alukhdoodi
কুতিলা আছ্হা-বুল্ উখ্দূদি।
Cursed be the makers of the pit,
قُتِلَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ
Alnnari thati alwaqoodi
আন্না-রি যা-তিল্ অকুদি
Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel,
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ
Ith hum AAalayha quAAoodun
ইয্হুম্ 'আলাইহা-কুঊ'দুঁও।
When they sat by it,
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ
Wahum AAala ma yafAAaloona bialmumineena shuhoodun
অহুম্ 'আলা-মা-ইয়াফ্'আলূনা বিল্মুমিনীনা শুহূদ্।
And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers.
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ
Wama naqamoo minhum illa an yuminoo biAllahi alAAazeezi alhameedi
অমা-নাক্বমূ মিন্হুম্ ইল্লা য় আইঁ ইয়ুমিনূ বিল্লা-হিল্ 'আযীযিল্ হামীদি।
And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised,
وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ
Allathee lahu mulku alssamawati waalardi waAllahu AAala kulli shayin shaheedun
ল্লাযী লাহূ মুল্কুস্ সামা-ওয়া-তি অল্ র্আদ্ব অল্লা-হু 'আলা- কুল্লি শাইয়িন্ শাহীদ্।
Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things.
ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
Inna allatheena fatanoo almumineena waalmuminati thumma lam yatooboo falahum AAathabu jahannama walahum AAathabu alhareeqi
ইন্নাল্লাযীনা ফাতানুল্ মুমিনীনা অল্মুমিনা-তি ছুম্মা লাম্ ইয়াতূবূ ফালাহুম্ 'আযা-বু জ্বাহান্নামাঅলাহুম্ 'আযা-বুল্ হারীক্ব্।
Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ
Inna allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati lahum jannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu thalika alfawzu alkabeeru
ইন্নাল্লাযীনা আ-মানূ অ'আমিলুছ্ ছোয়া-লিহা-তি লাহুম্ জ্বান্না-তুন্ তাজরী মিন্ তাহ্তিহাল্ আন্হার্- যা-লিকাল্ ফাওযুল্ কার্বী।
Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ
Inna batsha rabbika lashadeedun
ইন্না বাতশা রব্বিকা লাশাদীদ্।
Surely the might of your Lord is great.
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
Innahu huwa yubdio wayuAAeedu
ইন্নাহূ হুওয়া ইয়ুব্দিয়ু অইয়ু'ঈদ্।
Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces,
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
Wahuwa alghafooru alwadoodu
অহুওয়াল্ গফূরুল্ ওয়াদূদু
And He is the Forgiving, the Loving,
وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ
Thoo alAAarshi almajeedi
যুল্ 'র্আশিল্ মাজ্বীদু
Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious,
ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ
FaAAAAalun lima yureedu
ফা'আ'লুল্ লিমা- ইয়ুরীদ্।
The great doer of what He will.
فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
Hal ataka hadeethu aljunoodi
হাল্ আতা-কা হাদীছুল্ জুনূ দি
Has not there come to you the story of the hosts,
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ
FirAAawna wathamooda
র্ফি'আউনা অছামূদ্।
Of Firon and Samood?
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ
Bali allatheena kafaroo fee taktheebin
বালিল্লাযীনা কাফারূ ফী তাক্যীবিঁও
Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth.
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍ
WaAllahu min waraihim muheetun
অল্লা-হু মিওঁ অরা য় য়িহিম্ মুহীত্ব্।
And Allah encompasses them on every side.
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ
Bal huwa quranun majeedun
বাল্ হুওয়া কুরআ-নুম্ মাজ্বীদুন্
Nay! it is a glorious Quran,
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌ مَّجِيدٌ
Fee lawhin mahfoothin
ফী লাওহিম্ মাহ্ফূজ্
In a guarded tablet.
فِى لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍۭ
