AAabasa watawalla
The Prophet frowned and turned away
Er blickte düster und kehrte sich ab,
An jaahu alaAAma
Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].
weil der Blinde zu ihm kam.
Wama yudreeka laAAallahu yazzakka
But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified
Was läßt dich wissen, vielleicht läutert er sich
Aw yaththakkaru fatanfaAAahu alththikra
Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?
As for he who thinks himself without need,
To him you give attention.
so widmest du dich ihm,
Wama AAalayka alla yazzakka
And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.
Waamma man jaaka yasAAa
But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]
Wahuwa yakhsha
While he fears [Allah],
und dabei gottesfürchtig ist,
Faanta AAanhu talahha
From him you are distracted.
von dem läßt du dich ablenken.
Kalla innaha tathkiratun
No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;
Keineswegs! Gewiß, es ist eine Erinnerung.
Faman shaa thakarahu
So whoever wills may remember it.
Wer nun will, gedenkt seiner.
Fee suhufin mukarramatin
[It is recorded] in honored sheets,
(Er steht) auf in Ehren gehaltenen Blättern,
MarfooAAatin mutahharatin
Exalted and purified,
erhöhten und rein gehaltenen,
Biaydee safaratin
[Carried] by the hands of messenger - angels,
durch die Hände von Entsandten,
Kiramin bararatin
Noble and dutiful.
edlen, frommen.
Qutila alinsanu ma akfarahu
Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he.
Tod dem Menschen, wie undankbar er ist!
Min ayyi shayin khalaqahu
From what substance did He create him?
Woraus hat Er ihn erschaffen?
Min nutfatin khalaqahu faqaddarahu
From a sperm - drop He created him and destined for him;
Then He eased the way for him;
Den Weg hierauf macht Er ihm leicht.
Thumma amatahu faaqbarahu
Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.
Hierauf läßt Er ihn sterben und bringt ihn dann ins Grab.
Thumma itha shaa ansharahu
Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.
Hierauf, wenn Er will, läßt Er ihn auferstehen.
Kalla lamma yaqdi ma amarahu
No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him.
Keineswegs!
Falyanthuri alinsanu ila taAAamihi
Then let mankind look at his food -
Anna sababna almaa sabban
How We poured down water in torrents,
Wir gießen ja Güsse von Wasser,
Thumma shaqaqna alarda shaqqan
Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts],
And caused to grow within it grain
und lassen dann auf ihr Korn wachsen
WaAAinaban waqadban
And grapes and herbage
und Rebstöcke und Grünzeug
Wazaytoonan wanakhlan
And olive and palm trees
und Ölbäume und Palmen
Wahadaiqa ghulban
And gardens of dense shrubbery
und Gärten mit dicken Bäumen
Wafakihatan waabban
And fruit and grass -
und Früchte und Futter,
MataAAan lakum walianAAamikum
[As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.
But when there comes the Deafening Blast
Wenn dann der betäubende (Schrei) kommt,
Yawma yafirru almaro min akheehi
On the Day a man will flee from his brother
Waommihi waabeehi
And his mother and his father
und seiner Mutter und seinem Vater
Wasahibatihi wabaneehi
And his wife and his children,
und seiner Gefährtin und seinen Söhnen
Likulli imriin minhum yawmaithin shanun yughneehi
For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.
[Some] faces, that Day, will be bright -
Dahikatun mustabshiratun
Laughing, rejoicing at good news.
lachen und sich freuen.
Wawujoohun yawmaithin AAalayha ghabaratun
And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.
Tarhaquha qataratun
Blackness will cover them.
und sie werden von Dunkelheit bedeckt sein.
Olaika humu alkafaratu alfajaratu
Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones.
Das sind die Ungläubigen und Sittenlosen.
