Chapter 80, 42 verses
AAabasa watawalla
Er blickte düster und kehrte sich ab,
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. (The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) frowned and turned away.
An jaahu alaAAma
weil der Blinde zu ihm kam.
Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs).
Wama yudreeka laAAallahu yazzakka
Was läßt dich wissen, vielleicht läutert er sich
And how can you know that he might become pure (from sins)?
Aw yaththakkaru fatanfaAAahu alththikra
Or he might receive admonition, and the admonition might profit him?
Amma mani istaghna
As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient,
Faanta lahu tasadda
so widmest du dich ihm,
To him you attend;
What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief: you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah).
Waamma man jaaka yasAAa
But as to him who came to you running,
Wahuwa yakhsha
und dabei gottesfürchtig ist,
And is afraid (of Allah and His punishment).
Faanta AAanhu talahha
von dem läßt du dich ablenken.
Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another,
Kalla innaha tathkiratun
Keineswegs! Gewiß, es ist eine Erinnerung.
Nay, (do not do like this); indeed it (this Qur'an) is an admonition.
Faman shaa thakarahu
Wer nun will, gedenkt seiner.
So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it.
Fee suhufin mukarramatin
(Er steht) auf in Ehren gehaltenen Blättern,
(It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz),
MarfooAAatin mutahharatin
erhöhten und rein gehaltenen,
Exalted (in dignity), purified,
Biaydee safaratin
durch die Hände von Entsandten,
In the hands of scribes (angels).
Kiramin bararatin
edlen, frommen.
Honourable and obedient.
Qutila alinsanu ma akfarahu
Tod dem Menschen, wie undankbar er ist!
Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is!
Min ayyi shayin khalaqahu
Woraus hat Er ihn erschaffen?
From what thing did He create him?
Min nutfatin khalaqahu faqaddarahu
From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him and then set him in due proportion.
Thumma alssabeela yassarahu
Den Weg hierauf macht Er ihm leicht.
Then He makes the Path easy for him.
Thumma amatahu faaqbarahu
Hierauf läßt Er ihn sterben und bringt ihn dann ins Grab.
Then He causes him to die and puts him in his grave.
Thumma itha shaa ansharahu
Hierauf, wenn Er will, läßt Er ihn auferstehen.
Then when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again).
Kalla lamma yaqdi ma amarahu
Keineswegs!
Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him.
Falyanthuri alinsanu ila taAAamihi
Then let man look at his food:
Anna sababna almaa sabban
Wir gießen ja Güsse von Wasser,
We pour forth water in abundance.
Thumma shaqaqna alarda shaqqan
And We split the earth in clefts.
Faanbatna feeha habban
und lassen dann auf ihr Korn wachsen
And We cause therein the grain to grow,
WaAAinaban waqadban
und Rebstöcke und Grünzeug
And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle),
Wazaytoonan wanakhlan
und Ölbäume und Palmen
And olives and date-palms,
Wahadaiqa ghulban
und Gärten mit dicken Bäumen
And gardens dense with many trees,
Wafakihatan waabban
und Früchte und Futter,
And fruits and herbage
MataAAan lakum walianAAamikum
(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle.
Faitha jaati alssakhkhatu
Wenn dann der betäubende (Schrei) kommt,
Then when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the second blowing of the Trumpet on the Day of Resurrection)
Yawma yafirru almaro min akheehi
That Day shall a man flee from his brother,
Waommihi waabeehi
und seiner Mutter und seinem Vater
And from his mother and his father,
Wasahibatihi wabaneehi
und seiner Gefährtin und seinen Söhnen
And from his wife and his children.
Likulli imriin minhum yawmaithin shanun yughneehi
Everyman that Day will have enough to make him careless of others.
Wujoohun yawmaithin musfiratun
Some faces that Day will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism),
Dahikatun mustabshiratun
lachen und sich freuen.
Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise).
Wawujoohun yawmaithin AAalayha ghabaratun
And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained.
Tarhaquha qataratun
und sie werden von Dunkelheit bedeckt sein.
Darkness will cover them.
Olaika humu alkafaratu alfajaratu
Das sind die Ungläubigen und Sittenlosen.
Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers).
