সুতরাং তোমরা যমীনে বিচরণ কর চার মাস, আর জেনে রাখ, তোমরা আল্লাহকে অক্ষম করতে পারবে না, আর নিশ্চয় কাফিরদেরকে অপদস্থকারী।

Travel freely in the land four months, and know that ye cannot escape Allah and that Allah will confound the disbelievers (in His Guidance).
Transliteration
Waathanun mina Allahi warasoolihi ila alnnasi yawma alhajji alakbari anna Allaha bareeon mina almushrikeena warasooluhu fain tubtum fahuwa khayrun lakum wain tawallaytum faiAAlamoo annakum ghayru muAAjizee Allahi wabashshiri allatheena kafaroo biAAathabin aleemin

And a proclamation from Allah and His messenger to all men on the day of the Greater Pilgrimage that Allah is free from obligation to the idolaters, and (so is) His messenger. So, if ye repent, it will be better for you; but if ye are averse, then know that ye cannot escape Allah. Give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom to those who disbelieve,
Transliteration
Illa allatheena AAahadtum mina almushrikeena thumma lam yanqusookum shayan walam yuthahiroo AAalaykum ahadan faatimmoo ilayhim AAahdahum ila muddatihim inna Allaha yuhibbu almuttaqeena

তবে মুশরিকদের মধ্য থেকে যাদের সাথে তোমরা চুক্তিবদ্ধ হয়েছ, অতঃপর তারা তোমাদের সাথে কোন ত্রুটি করেনি এবং তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে কাউকে সাহায্য করেনি, তোমরা তাদেরকে দেয়া চুক্তি তাদের নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত পূর্ণ কর। নিশ্চয় মুত্তাকীদের ভালবাসেন।

Excepting those of the idolaters with whom ye (Muslims) have a treaty, and who have since abated nothing of your right nor have supported anyone against you. (As for these), fulfil their treaty to them till their term. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty (unto Him).
অতঃপর যখন নিষিদ্ধ মাসগুলো অতিবাহিত হয়ে যাবে, তখন তোমরা মুশরিকদেরকে যেখানেই পাও হত্যা কর এবং তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর, তাদেরকে অবরোধ কর এবং তাদের জন্য প্রতিটি ঘাঁটিতে বসে থাক। তবে যদি তারা তাওবা করে এবং কায়েম করে, আর যাকাত দেয়, তাহলে তাদের পথ ছেড়ে দাও। নিশ্

Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor - due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Transliteration
Wain ahadun mina almushrikeena istajaraka faajirhu hatta yasmaAAa kalama Allahi thumma ablighhu mamanahu thalika biannahum qawmun la yaAAlamoona

আর যদি মুশরিকদের কেউ তোমার কাছে আশ্রয় চায়, তাহলে তাকে আশ্রয় দাও, যাতে সে আল্লাহর কালাম শুনে, অতঃপর তাকে পৌঁছিয়ে দাও তার নিরাপদ স্থানে। তা এই জন্য যে, তারা এমন এক কওম, যারা জানে না।

And if anyone of the idolaters seeketh thy protection (O Muhammad), then protect him so that he may hear the Word of Allah, and afterward convey him to his place of safety. That is because they are a folk who know not.

Kayfa yakoonu lilmushrikeena AAahdun AAinda Allahi waAAinda rasoolihi illa allatheena AAahadtum AAinda almasjidi alharami fama istaqamoo lakum faistaqeemoo lahum inna Allaha yuhibbu almuttaqeena

কীভাবে মুশরিকদের জন্য অঙ্গীকার থাকবে আল্লাহর কাছে ও তাঁর রাসূলের কাছে? অবশ্য যাদের সাথে মসজিদে হারামে তোমরা অঙ্গীকারাবদ্ধ হয়েছ তাদের কথা আলাদা। অতএব যতক্ষণ তারা তোমাদের জন্য ঠিক থাকে, ততক্ষণ তোমরাও তাদের জন্য ঠিক থাক। নিশ্চয় মুত্তাকীদের ভালবাসেন।

How can there be a treaty with Allah and with His messenger for the idolaters save those with whom ye made a treaty at the Inviolable Place of Worship ? So long as they are true to you, be true to them. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty.
কীভাবে থাকবে (মুশরিকদের জন্য অঙ্গীকার)? অথচ তারা যদি তোমাদের উপর জয়ী হয়, তাহলে তারা তোমাদের আত্মীয়তা ও অঙ্গীকারের ব্যাপারে লক্ষ্য রাখে না। তারা তাদের মুখের (কথা) দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে সন্তুষ্ট করে, কিন্তু তাদের অন্তর তা অস্বীকার করে। আর তাদের অধিকাংশ ফাসিক।

How (can there be any treaty for the others) when, if they have the upper hand of you, they regard not pact nor honour in respect of you ? They satisfy you with their mouths the while their hearts refuse. And most of them are wrongdoers.
Transliteration
Ishtaraw biayati Allahi thamanan qaleelan fasaddoo AAan sabeelihi innahum saa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

তারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহের বিনিময়ে তুচ্ছ মূল্য খরিদ করে নিয়েছে। ফলত তারা তাঁর পথে বাধা দিয়েছে, নিশ্চয় তারা যে কাজ করত তা কতই না মন্দ!

They have purchased with the revelations of Allah a little gain, so they debar (men) from His way. Lo! evil is that which they are wont to do.

La yarquboona fee muminin illan walathimmatan waolaika humu almuAAtadoona

তারা কোন মুমিনের ব্যাপারে আত্মীয়তা ও অঙ্গীকারের খেয়াল রাখে না। আর তারাই হল সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী।

And they observe toward a believer neither pact nor honour. These are they who are transgressors.
অতএব যদি তারা তাওবা করে, কায়েম করে এবং যাকাত প্রদান করে, তবে দীনের মধ্যে তারা তোমাদের ভাই। আর আমি আয়াতসমূহ যথাযথভাবে বর্ণনা করি এমন কওমের জন্য যারা জানে।

But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor - due, then are they your brethren in religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who have knowledge.

Wain nakathoo aymanahum min baAAdi AAahdihim wataAAanoo fee deenikum faqatiloo aimmata alkufri innahum la aymana lahum laAAallahum yantahoona

আর যদি তারা তাদের অঙ্গীকারের পর তাদের কসম ভঙ্গ করে এবং তোমাদের দীন সম্পর্কে কটূক্তি করে, তাহলে তোমরা কুফরের নেতাদের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই কর, নিশ্চয় তাদের কোন কসম নেই, যেন তারা বিরত হয়।

And if they break their pledges after their treaty (hath been made with you) and assail your religion, then fight the heads of disbelief - Lo! they have no binding oaths - in order that they may desist.

Ala tuqatiloona qawman nakathoo aymanahum wahammoo biikhraji alrrasooli wahum badaookum awwala marratin atakhshawnahum faAllahu ahaqqu an takhshawhu in kuntum mumineena

তোমরা কেন এমন কওমের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কর না, যারা তাদের কসম ভঙ্গ করেছে এবং রাসূলকে বহিষ্কার করার ইচ্ছা পোষণ করেছে, আর তারাই প্রথমে তোমাদের সাথে আরম্ভ করেছে। তোমরা কি তাদেরকে ভয় করছ? অথচ অধিক উপযুক্ত যে, তোমরা তাঁকে ভয় করবে, যদি তোমরা হও।

Will ye not fight a folk who broke their solemn pledges, and purposed to drive out the messenger and did attack you first ? What! Fear ye them ? Now Allah hath more right that ye should fear Him, if ye are believers
তোমরা তাদের সাথে লড়াই কর, তোমাদের হাতে তাদেরকে আযাব দেবেন এবং তাদেরকে অপদস্থ করবেন, আর তোমাদেরকে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে সাহায্য করবেন এবং কওমের অন্তরসমূহকে চিন্তামুক্ত করবেন।

Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and He will lay them low and give you victory over them, and He will heal the breasts of folk who are believers.
আর তাদের অন্তরসমূহের ক্রোধ দূর করবেন এবং যাকে চান তার তাওবা কবুল করেন। আর মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।

And He will remove the anger of their hearts. Allah relenteth toward whom He will. Allah is Knower, Wise.
Transliteration
Am hasibtum an tutrakoo walamma yaAAlami Allahu allatheena jahadoo minkum walam yattakhithoo min dooni Allahi wala rasoolihi wala almumineena waleejatan waAllahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloona

তোমরা কি মনে করেছ যে, তোমাদেরকে ছেড়ে দেয়া হবে? অথচ এখনও যাচাই করেননি যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে কারা জিহাদ করেছে এবং কারা , তাঁর রাসূল ও মুমিনগণ ছাড়া কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করেনি। আর তোমরা যা কর সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।

Or deemed ye that ye would be left (in peace) when Allah yet knoweth not those of you who strive, choosing for familiar none save Allah and His messenger and the believers ? Allah is of what ye do.
Transliteration
Ma kana lilmushrikeena an yaAAmuroo masajida Allahi shahideena AAala anfusihim bialkufri olaika habitat aAAmaluhum wafee alnnari hum khalidoona

মুশরিকদের অধিকার নেই যে, তারা আল্লাহর মসজিদসমূহ আবাদ করবে, নিজদের উপর কুফরীর সাক্ষ্য দেয়া অবস্থায়। এদেরই আমলসমূহ বরবাদ হয়েছে এবং আগুনেই তারা স্থায়ী হবে।

It is not for the idolaters to tend Allah's sanctuaries, bearing witness against themselves of disbelief. As for such, their works are vain and in the Fire they will abide.

Innama yaAAmuru masajida Allahi man amana biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri waaqama alssalata waata alzzakata walam yakhsha illa Allaha faAAasa olaika an yakoonoo mina almuhtadeena
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
একমাত্র তারাই আল্লাহর মসজিদসমূহ আবাদ করবে, যারা ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে, কায়েম করে, যাকাত প্রদান করে এবং ছাড়া কাউকে ভয় করে না। আশা করা যায়, ওরা হিদায়াতপ্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে।

He only shall tend Allah's sanctuaries who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor - due and feareth none save Allah. For such (only) is it possible that they can be of the rightly guided.
তোমরা কি হাজীদের পানি পান করান ও মসজিদুল হারাম আবাদ করাকে ঐ ব্যক্তির মত বিবেচনা কর, যে ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি ঈমান এনেছে এবং আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ করেছে। তারা আল্লাহর কাছে বরাবর নয়। আর যালিম কওমকে হিদায়াত দেন না।

Count ye the slaking of a pilgrim's thirst and tendance of the Inviolable Place of Worship as (equal to the worth of) him who believeth in Allah and the Last Day, and striveth in the way of Allah ? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
যারা ঈমান এনেছে, হিজরত করেছে, আর আল্লাহর পথে নিজদের মাল ও জান দিয়ে জিহাদ করেছে, আল্লাহর কাছে তারা বড়ই মর্যাদাবান আর তারাই ।

Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven with their wealth and their lives in Allah's way are of much greater worth in Allah's sight. These are they who are triumphant.
তাদের প্রতিপালক তাদেরকে নিজের পক্ষ থেকে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন রহমত ও সন্তুষ্টির এবং এমন জান্নাতসমূহের যাতে রয়েছে তাদের জন্য স্থায়ী নিআমত।

Their Lord giveth them good tidings of mercy from Him, and acceptance, and Gardens where enduring pleasure will be theirs;

Khalideena feeha abadan inna Allaha AAindahu ajrun AAatheemun

তথায় তারা থাকবে চিরকাল। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর কাছে রয়েছে মহাপুরস্কার।

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo abaakum waikhwanakum awliyaa ini istahabboo alkufra AAala aleemani waman yatawallahum minkum faolaika humu alththalimoona

হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা নিজদের পিতা ও ভাইদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না, যদি তারা ঈমান অপেক্ষা কুফরীকে প্রিয় মনে করে। তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে যারা তাদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করে তারাই যালিম।

O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong - doers.
Transliteration
Qul in kana abaokum waabnaokum waikhwanukum waazwajukum waAAasheeratukum waamwalun iqtaraftumooha watijaratun takhshawna kasadaha wamasakinu tardawnaha ahabba ilaykum mina Allahi warasoolihi wajihadin fee sabeelihi fatarabbasoo hatta yatiya Allahu biamrihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena

Say: If your fathers, and your sons, and your brethren, and your wives, and your tribe, and the wealth ye have acquired, and merchandise for which ye fear that there will no sale, and dwellings ye desire are dearer to you than Allah and His messenger and striving in His way: then wait till Allah bringeth His command to pass. Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করেছেন বহু জায়গায় এবং হুনাইনের দিনে, যখন তোমাদের সংখ্যাধিক্য তোমাদেরকে উৎফুল্ল করেছিল, অথচ তা তোমাদের কোন কাজে আসেনি। আর যমীন প্রশস্ত হওয়া সত্ত্বেও তোমাদের উপর সংকীর্ণ হয়ে গিয়েছিল। অতঃপর তোমরা পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করে পলায়ন করেছি

Allah hath given you victory on many fields and on the day of Huneyn, when ye exulted in your multitude but it availed you naught, and the earth, vast as it is, was straitened for you; then ye turned back in flight;
তারপর তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে প্রশান্তি নাযিল করলেন তাঁর রাসূলের উপর ও মুমিনদের উপর এবং নাযিল করলেন এমন সৈন্যবাহিনী যাদেরকে তোমরা দেখনি, আর কাফিরদেরকে আযাব দিলেন। আর এটা কাফিরদের কর্মফল।

Then Allah sent His peace of reassurance down upon His messenger and upon the believers, and sent down hosts ye could not see, and punished those who disbelieved. Such is the reward of disbelievers.
Transliteration
Thumma yatoobu Allahu min baAAdi thalika AAala man yashao waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun

এরপর যাদেরকে ইচ্ছা তাদের তাওবা কবূল করবেন। আর অত্যন্ত ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।

Then afterward Allah will relent toward whom He will; for Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo innama almushrikoona najasun fala yaqraboo almasjida alharama baAAda AAamihim hatha wain khiftum AAaylatan fasawfa yughneekumu Allahu min fadlihi in shaa inna Allaha AAaleemun hakeemun

হে ঈমানদারগণ, নিশ্চয় মুশরিকরা নাপাক, সুতরাং তারা যেন মসজিদুল হারামের নিকটবর্তী না হয় তাদের এ বছরের পর। আর যদি তোমরা দারিদ্র্যকে ভয় কর, তবে চাইলে নিজ অনুগ্রহে তোমাদের অভাবমুক্ত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।

O ye who believe! The idolaters only are unclean. So let them not come near the Inviolable Place of Worship after this their year. If ye fear poverty (from the loss of their merchandise) Allah shall preserve you of His bounty if He will. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise.
Transliteration
Qatiloo allatheena la yuminoona biAllahi wala bialyawmi alakhiri wala yuharrimoona maharrama Allahu warasooluhu wala yadeenoona deena alhaqqi mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba hatta yuAAtoo aljizyata AAan yadin wahum saghiroona

তোমরা লড়াই কর আহলে কিতাবের সে সব লোকের সাথে যারা ও শেষ দিবসে ঈমান রাখে না এবং ও তাঁর রাসূল যা হারাম করেছেন তা হারাম মনে করে না, আর সত্য দীন গ্রহণ করে না, যতক্ষণ না তারা স্বহস্তে নত হয়ে জিয্য়া দেয়।

Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.
আর ইয়াহূদীরা বলে, উযাইর আল্লাহর পুত্র এবং নাসারারা বলে, মাসীহ আল্লাহর পুত্র। এটা তাদের মুখের কথা, তারা সেসব লোকের কথার অনুরূপ বলছে যারা ইতঃপূর্বে করেছে। তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করুন, কোথায় ফেরানো হচ্ছে এদেরকে?

And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!
Transliteration
Ittakhathoo ahbarahum waruhbanahum arbaban min dooni Allahi waalmaseeha ibna maryama wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudoo ilahan wahidan la ilaha illa huwa subhanahu AAamma yushrikoona

তারা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে তাদের পন্ডিত ও সংসার-বিরাগীদের* রব হিসেবে গ্রহণ করেছে এবং মারইয়ামপুত্র মাসীহকেও। অথচ তারা এক ইলাহের ইবাদত করার জন্যই আদিষ্ট হয়েছে, তিনি ছাড়া কোন (হক) নেই। তারা যে শরীক করে তিনি তা থেকে পবিত্র। * এ স্থলে أحبار দ্বারা ইয়াহূদীদের ধর্

They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only One God. There is no God save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!
Transliteration
Yureedoona an yutfioo noora Allahi biafwahihim wayaba Allahu illa an yutimma noorahu walaw kariha alkafiroona

তারা আল্লাহর নূরকে নির্বাপিত করতে চায় তাদের মুখের (ফুঁক) দ্বারা, কিন্তু তো তাঁর নূর পরিপূর্ণ করা ছাড়া অন্য কিছু চান না, যদিও কাফিররা অপছন্দ করে।

Fain would they put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah disdaineth (aught) save that He shall perfect His light, however much the disbelievers are averse.
তিনিই তাঁর রাসূলকে হিদায়াত ও সত্য দীন সহ প্রেরণ করেছেন, যাতে তিনি একে সকল দীনের উপর বিজয়ী করেন, যদিও মুশরিকরা অপছন্দ করে।

He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion, however much the idolaters may be averse.
হে ঈমানদারগণ, নিশ্চয় পন্ডিত ও সংসার বিরাগীদের অনেকেই মানুষের ধন-সম্পদ অন্যায়ভাবে ভক্ষণ করে, আর তারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দেয় এবং যারা সোনা ও রূপা পুঞ্জীভূত করে রাখে, আর তা আল্লাহর রাস্তায় খরচ করে না, তুমি তাদের বেদনাদায়ক আযাবের সুসংবাদ দাও।

O ye who believe! Lo! many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks devour the wealth of mankind wantonly and debar (men) from the way of Allah. They who hoard up gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah, unto them give tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom,

Yawma yuhma AAalayha fee nari jahannama fatukwa biha jibahuhum wajunoobuhum wathuhooruhum hatha ma kanaztum lianfusikum fathooqoo ma kuntum taknizoona

যেদিন জাহান্নামের আগুনে তা গরম করা হবে, অতঃপর তা দ্বারা তাদের কপালে, পার্শ্বে এবং পিঠে সেঁক দেয়া হবে। (আর বলা হবে) ‘এটা তা-ই যা তোমরা নিজদের জন্য জমা করে রেখেছিলে, সুতরাং তোমরা যা জমা করেছিলে তার স্বাদ উপভোগ কর’।

On the day when it will (all) be heated in the fire of hell, and their foreheads and their flanks and their backs will be branded therewith (and it will be said unto them): Here is that which ye hoarded for yourselves. Now taste of what ye used to hoard.

Inna AAiddata alshshuhoori AAinda Allahi ithna AAashara shahran fee kitabi Allahi yawma khalaqa alssamawati waalarda minha arbaAAatun hurumun thalika alddeenu alqayyimu fala tathlimoo feehinna anfusakum waqatiloo almushrikeena kaffatan kama yuqatiloonakum kaffatan waiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAa almuttaqeena

নিশ্চয় মাসসমূহের গণনা আল্লাহর কাছে বার মাস আল্লাহর কিতাবে, (সেদিন থেকে) যেদিন তিনি আসমান ও যমীন সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এর মধ্য থেকে চারটি সম্মানিত, এটাই প্রতিষ্ঠিত দীন। সুতরাং তোমরা এ মাসসমূহে নিজদের উপর কোন যুলম করো না, আর তোমরা সকলে মুশরিকদের সাথে লড়াই কর যেমনি

Lo! the number of the months with Allah is twelve months by Allah's ordinance in the day that He created the heavens and the earth. Four of them are sacred: that is the right religion. So wrong not yourselves in them. And wage war on all of the idolaters as they are waging war on all of you. And know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).

Postponement (of a sacred month) is only an excess of disbelief whereby those who disbelieve are misled; they allow it one year and forbid it (another) year, that they may make up the number of the months which Allah hath hallowed, so that they allow that which Allah hath forbidden. The evil of their deeds is made fairseeming unto them. Allah guideth not the disbelieving folk.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ma lakum itha qeela lakumu infiroo fee sabeeli Allahi iththaqaltum ila alardi aradeetum bialhayati alddunya mina alakhirati fama mataAAu alhayati alddunya fee alakhirati illa qaleelun

হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমাদের কী হল, যখন তোমাদের বলা হয়, আল্লাহর রাস্তায় (যুদ্ধে) বের হও, তখন তোমরা যমীনের প্রতি প্রবলভাবে ঝুঁকে পড়? তবে কি তোমরা আখিরাতের পরিবর্তে দুনিয়ার জীবনে সন্তুষ্ট হলে? অথচ দুনিয়ার জীবনের ভোগ-সামগ্রী আখিরাতের তুলনায় একেবারেই নগণ্য।

O ye who believe! What aileth you that when it is said unto you: Go forth in the way of Allah, ye are bowed down to the ground with heaviness. Take ye pleasure in the life of the world rather than in the Hereafter ? The comfort of the life of the world is but little in the Hereafter.
যদি তোমরা (যুদ্ধে) বের না হও, তিনি তোমাদের বেদনাদায়ক আযাব দেবেন এবং তোমাদের পরিবর্তে অন্য এক কওমকে আনয়ন করবেন, আর তোমরা তাঁর কিছুমাত্র ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। আর সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।

If ye go not forth He will afflict you with a painful doom, and will choose instead of you a folk other than you. Ye cannot harm Him at all. Allah is Able to do all things.

If ye help him not, still Allah helped him when those who disbelieve drove him forth, the second of two; when they two were in the cave, when he said unto his comrade: Grieve not. Lo! Allah is with us. Then Allah caused His peace of reassurance to descend upon him and supported him with hosts ye cannot see, and made the word of those who disbelieved the nethermost, while Allah's Word it was that became the uppermost. Allah is Mighty, Wise.

Had it been a near adventure and an easy journey they had followed thee, but the distance seemed too far for them. Yet will they swear by Allah (saying): If we had been able we would surely have set out with you. They destroy their souls, and Allah knoweth that they verily are liars.

AAafa Allahu AAanka lima athinta lahum hatta yatabayyana laka allatheena sadaqoo wataAAlama alkathibeena

Allah forgive thee (O Muhammad)! Wherefor didst thou grant them leave ere those who told the truth were manifest to thee and thou didst know the liars ?
Transliteration
La yastathinuka allatheena yuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri an yujahidoo biamwalihim waanfusihim waAllahu AAaleemun bialmuttaqeena

যারা ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে, তারা তোমার কাছে তাদের মাল ও জান দিয়ে জিহাদ করা থেকে বিরত থাকার অনুমতি চায় না, আর মুত্তাকীদের সম্পর্কে পূর্ণ জ্ঞাত।

Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day ask no leave of thee lest they should strive with their wealth and their lives. Allah is Aware of those who keep their duty (unto Him).
আর যদি তারা বের হওয়ার ইচ্ছা করত, তবে তারা তার জন্য সরঞ্জাম প্রস্তুত করত, কিন্তু তাদের বের হওয়াকে অপছন্দ করলেন, ফলে তিনি তাদেরকে পিছিয়ে দিলেন, আর বলা হল, ‘তোমরা বসে পড়া লোকদের সাথে বসে থাক’।

And if they had wished to go forth they would assuredly have made ready some equipment, but Allah was averse to their being sent forth and held them back and it was said (unto them): Sit ye with the sedentary!

Law kharajoo feekum ma zadookum illa khabalan walaawdaAAoo khilalakum yabghoonakumu alfitnata wafeekum sammaAAoona lahum waAllahu AAaleemun bialththalimeena

Had they gone forth among you they had added to you naught save trouble and had hurried to and fro among you, seeking to cause sedition among you; and among you there are some who would have listened to them. Allah is Aware of evil - doers.

Laqadi ibtaghawoo alfitnata min qablu waqallaboo laka alomoora hatta jaa alhaqqu wathahara amru Allahi wahum karihoona

Aforetime they sought to cause sedition and raised difficulties for thee till the Truth came and the decree of Allah was made manifest, though they were loth.

Waminhum man yaqoolu ithan lee wala taftinnee ala fee alfitnati saqatoo wainna jahannama lamuheetatun bialkafireena

আর তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ বলে, ‘আমাকে অনুমতি দিন এবং আমাকে ফিতনায় ফেলবেন না’। শুনে রাখ, তারা ফিতনাতেই পড়ে আছে। আর নিশ্চয় জাহান্নাম কাফিরদের বেষ্টনকারী।

Of them is he who saith: Grant me leave (to stay at home) and tempt me not. Surely it is into temptation that they (thus) have fallen. Lo! hell verily is all around the disbelievers.

In tusibka hasanatun tasuhum wain tusibka museebatun yaqooloo qad akhathna amrana min qablu wayatawallaw wahum farihoona

যদি তোমার কাছে কোন কল্যাণ পৌঁছে, তবে তা তাদেরকে কষ্ট দেয়। আর যদি তোমাকে কোন বিপদ আক্রান্ত করে, তবে তারা বলে, পূর্বেই আমরা সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করেছি এবং তারা ফিরে যায় উল্লসিত অবস্থায়।

If good befalleth thee (O Muhammad) it afflicteth them, and if calamity befalleth thee, they say: We took precaution, and they turn away well pleased.

Qul lan yuseebana illa ma kataba Allahu lana huwa mawlana waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almuminoona

Say: Naught befalleth us save that which Allah hath decreed for us. He is our Protecting Friend. In Allah let believers put their trust!

Qul hal tarabbasoona bina illa ihda alhusnayayni wanahnu natarabbasu bikum an yuseebakumu Allahu biAAathabin min AAindihi aw biaydeena fatarabbasoo inna maAAakum mutarabbisoona

বল, ‘তোমরা কেবল আমাদের জন্য দু’টি কল্যাণের একটির অপেক্ষা করছ, আর আমরাও তোমাদের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছি যে, তোমাদেরকে তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে অথবা আমাদের হাত দ্বারা আযাব দেবেন। অতএব তোমরা অপেক্ষা কর, নিশ্চয় আমরা তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষমাণ’।

Say: Can ye await for us aught save one of two good things (death or victory in Allah's way) ? while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with a doom from Him or at our hands. Await then! Lo! We are awaiting with you.

Qul anfiqoo tawAAan aw karhan lan yutaqabbala minkum innakum kuntum qawman fasiqeena

বল, ‘তোমরা খুশি হয়ে দান কর অথবা বাধ্য হয়ে, তোমাদের থেকে তা কখনো গ্রহণ করা হবে না। নিশ্চয় তোমরা হচ্ছ ফাসিক কওম।

Say: Pay (your contribution), willingly or unwillingly, it will not be accepted from you. Lo! ye were ever froward folk.
Transliteration
Wama manaAAahum an tuqbala minhum nafaqatuhum illa annahum kafaroo biAllahi wabirasoolihi wala yatoona alssalata illa wahum kusala wala yunfiqoona illa wahum karihoona

আর তাদের দান কবূল থেকে একমাত্র বাধা এই ছিল যে, তারা ও তাঁর রাসূলকে অস্বীকার করেছে, আর তারা সালাতে আসে না, তবে অলস অবস্থায় এবং তারা দান করে না, তবে অপছন্দকারী অবস্থায়।

And naught preventeth that their contributions should be accepted from them save that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His messenger, and they come not to worship save as idlers, and pay not (their contribution) save reluctantly.
অতএব তোমাকে যেন মুগ্ধ না করে তাদের ধন-সম্পদ এবং সন্তানাদি, এর দ্বারা কেবল তাদের আযাব দিতে চান দুনিয়ার জীবনে এবং তাদের জান বের হবে অবস্থায়।

So let not their riches nor their children please thee (O Muhammad). Allah thereby intendeth but to punish them in the life of the world and that their souls shall pass away while they are disbelievers.
আর তাদের মধ্যে কেউ আছে, যে সদাকা বিষয়ে তোমাকে দোষারোপ করে। তবে যদি তাদেরকে তা থেকে দেয়া হয়, তারা সন্তুষ্ট থাকে, আর যদি তা থেকে দেয়া না হয়, তখন তারা অসন্তুষ্ট হয়।

And of them is he who defameth thee in the matter of the alms. If they are given thereof they are content, and if they are not given thereof, behold! they are enraged.

Walaw annahum radoo maatahumu Allahu warasooluhu waqaloo hasbuna Allahu sayuteena Allahu min fadlihi warasooluhu inna ila Allahi raghiboona

আর যদি তারা ও তাঁর রাসূল তাদের যা দিয়েছেন, তাতে সন্তুষ্ট থাকত এবং বলত, ‘আমাদের জন্য আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট, অচিরেই আমাদেরকে তাঁর অনুগ্রহ দান করবেন এবং তাঁর রাসূলও। নিশ্চয় আমরা আল্লাহর দিকে ধাবিত’।

(How much more seemly) had they been content with that which Allah and His messenger had given them and had said: Allah sufficeth us. Allah will give us of His bounty, and (also) His messenger. Unto Allah we are suppliants.

And of them are those who vex the Prophet and say: He is only a hearer. Say: A hearer of good for you, who believeth in Allah and is true to the believers, and a mercy for such of you as believe. Those who vex the messenger of Allah, for them there is a painful doom.

Yahlifoona biAllahi lakum liyurdookum waAllahu warasooluhu ahaqqu an yurdoohu in kanoo mumineena

তারা তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর কসম করে, যাতে তোমাদেরকে সন্তুষ্ট করতে পারে, ও তাঁর রাসূল অধিক হকদার যে, তারা তাকে সন্তুষ্ট করবে, যদি তারা হয়ে থাকে।

They swear by Allah to you (Muslims) to please you, but Allah, with His messenger, hath more right that they should please Him if they are believers.
Transliteration
Alam yaAAlamoo annahu man yuhadidi Allaha warasoolahu faanna lahu nara jahannama khalidan feehathalika alkhizyu alAAatheemu

Know they not that whoso opposeth Allah and His messenger, his verily is fire of hell, to abide therein ? That is the extreme abasement.

The hypocrites fear lest a surah should be revealed concerning them, proclaiming what is in their hearts. Say: Scoff (your fill)! Lo! Allah is disclosing what ye fear.
আর যদি তুমি তাদেরকে প্রশ্ন কর, অবশ্যই তারা বলবে, ‘আমরা আলাপচারিতা ও খেল-তামাশা করছিলাম। বল, ‘, তাঁর আয়াতসমূহ ও তাঁর রাসূলের সাথে তোমরা বিদ্রূপ করছিলে’?

And if thou ask them (O Muhammad) they will say: We did but talk and jest. Say: Was it at Allah and His revelations and His messenger that ye did scoff ?
Transliteration
La taAAtathiroo qad kafartum baAAda eemanikum in naAAfu AAan taifatin minkum nuAAaththib taifatan biannahum kanoo mujrimeena

তোমরা ওযর পেশ করো না। তোমরা তোমাদের ঈমানের পর অবশ্যই করেছ। যদি আমি তোমাদের থেকে একটি দলকে ক্ষমা করে দেই, তবে অপর দলকে আযাব দেব। কারণ, তারা হচ্ছে অপরাধী।

Make no excuse. Ye have disbelieved after your (confession of) belief. If We forgive a party of you, a party of you We shall punish because they have been guilty.
Transliteration
Almunafiqoona waalmunafiqatu baAAduhum min baAAdin yamuroona bialmunkari wayanhawna AAani almaAAroofi wayaqbidoona aydiyahum nasoo Allaha fanasiyahum inna almunafiqeena humu alfasiqoona

The hypocrites, both men and women, proceed one from another. They enjoin the wrong, and they forbid the right, and they withhold their hands (from spending for the cause of Allah). They forget Allah, so He hath forgotten them. Lo! the hypocrites, they are the transgressors.
মুনাফিক পুরুষ, মুনাফিক নারী ও কাফিরদেরকে জাহান্নামের আগুনের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন। তাতে তারা চিরদিন থাকবে, এটি তাদের জন্য যথেষ্ট। আর তাদের লা‘নত করেন এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে স্থায়ী আযাব।

Allah promiseth the hypocrites, both men and women, and the disbelievers fire of hell for their abode. It will suffice them. Allah curseth them, and theirs is lasting torment.
তাদের মত, যারা তোমাদের পূর্বে ছিল, তারা ছিল তোমাদের চেয়ে অধিক শক্তিশালী, ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তানাদিতে অধিক। ফলে তারা তাদের অংশ ভোগ করেছে, আর তোমরাও তোমাদের অংশ ভোগ করেছ, যেমনিভাবে তোমাদের পূর্বে যারা ছিল তারা তাদের অংশ ভোগ করেছে। আর তোমরা খেল-তামাশায় মত্ত হয়েছ,

Even as those before you who were mightier than you in strength, and more affluent than you in wealth and children. They enjoyed their lot awhile, so ye enjoy your lot awhile even as those before you did enjoy their lot awhile. And ye prate even as they prated. Such are they whose works have perished in the world and the Hereafter. Such are they who are the losers.

Alam yatihim nabao allatheena min qablihim qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waqawmi ibraheema waashabi madyana waalmutafikati atathum rusuluhum bialbayyinati fama kana Allahu liyathlimahum walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona

তাদের কাছে কি তাদের পূর্বের লোকদের সংবাদ পৌঁছেনি, নূহের কওম, আদ, সামূদ, ইবরাহীমের কওম, মাদায়েনবাসী ও বিধ্বস্ত নগরীর? তাদের কাছে তাদের রাসূলগণ প্রমাণসমূহ নিয়ে উপস্থিত হয়েছে। অতএব তাদের উপর যুলম করার নন, বরং তারাই তাদের নিজদের উপর যুলম করছিল।

Hath not the fame of those before them reached them - the folk of Noah, A'ad, Thamud, the folk of Abraham, the dwellers of Midian and the disasters (which befell them) ? Their messengers (from Allah) came unto them with proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). So Allah surely wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves.
আর পুরুষ ও নারীরা একে অপরের বন্ধু, তারা ভাল কাজের আদেশ দেয় আর অন্যায় কাজ থেকে নিষেধ করে, আর তারা কায়িম করে, যাকাত প্রদান করে এবং ও তাঁর রাসূলের আনুগত্য করে। এদেরকে শীঘ্রই দয়া করবেন, নিশ্চয় পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।

And the believers, men and women, are protecting friends one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor - due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.

WaAAada Allahu almumineena waalmuminati jannatin tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha wamasakina tayyibatan fee jannati AAadnin waridwanun mina Allahi akbaru thalika huwa alfawzu alAAatheemu

পুরুষ ও নারীদেরকে জান্নাতের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন, যার নিচ দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হবে নহরসমূহ, তাতে তারা চিরদিন থাকবে এবং (ওয়াদা দিচ্ছেন) স্থায়ী জান্নাতসমূহে পবিত্র বাসস্থানসমূহের। আর আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে সন্তুষ্টি সবচেয়ে বড়। এটাই মহাসফলতা।

Allah promiseth to the believers, men and women, Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide - blessed dwellings in Gardens of Eden. And - greater (far)! - acceptance from Allah. That is the supreme triumph.
হে নবী, ও মুনাফিকদের বিরুদ্ধে জিহাদ কর এবং তাদের উপর কঠোর হও, আর তাদের ঠিকানা হল জাহান্নাম; আর তা কতইনা নিকৃষ্ট স্থান।

O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end.

They swear by Allah that they said nothing (wrong), yet they did say the word of disbelief, and did disbelieve after their Surrender (to Allah). And they purposed that which they could not attain, and they sought revenge only that Allah by His messenger should enrich them of His bounty. If they repent it will be better for them; and if they turn away, Allah will afflict them with a painful doom in the world and the Hereafter, and they have no protecting friend nor helper in the earth.

Waminhum man AAahada Allaha lain atana min fadlihi lanassaddaqanna walanakoonanna mina alssaliheena

আর তাদের মধ্যে কতক আল্লাহর সাথে অঙ্গীকার করে যে, যদি তার স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে আমাদের দান করেন, আমরা অবশ্যই দান-খয়রাত করব এবং অবশ্যই আমরা নেককারদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হব ।

And of them is he who made a covenant with Allah (saying): If He give us of His bounty we will give alms and become of the righteous.

Falammaatahum min fadlihi bakhiloo bihi watawallaw wahum muAAridoona

Yet when He gave them of His bounty, they hoarded it and turned away, averse;

FaaAAqabahum nifaqan fee quloobihim ila yawmi yalqawnahu bima akhlafoo Allaha ma waAAadoohu wabima kanoo yakthiboona

সুতরাং পরিণামে তিনি তাদের অন্তরে নিফাক রেখে দিলেন সেদিন পর্যন্ত, যেদিন তারা তাঁর সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করবে, তারা আল্লাহকে যে ওয়াদা দিয়েছে তা ভঙ্গ করার কারণে এবং তারা যে মিথ্যা বলেছিল তার কারণে।

So He hath made the consequence (to be) hypocrisy in their hearts until the day when they shall meet Him, because they broke their word to Allah that they promised Him, and because they lied.

Alam yaAAlamoo anna Allaha yaAAlamu sirrahum wanajwahum waanna Allaha AAallamu alghuyoobi

তারা কি জানে না, নিশ্চয় তাদের গোপনীয় বিষয় ও গোপন পরামর্শ জানেন? আর নিশ্চয় গায়েবসমূহের ব্যাপারে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।

Know they not that Allah knoweth both their secret and the thought that they confide, and that Allah is the Knower of Things Hidden ?

Allatheena yalmizoona almuttawwiAAeena mina almumineena fee alssadaqati waallatheena la yajidoona illa juhdahum fayaskharoona minhum sakhira Allahu minhum walahum AAathabun aleemun

যারা দোষারোপ করে সদাকার ব্যাপারে মুমিনদের মধ্য থেকে স্বেচ্ছাদানকারীদেরকে এবং তাদেরকে যারা তাদের পরিশ্রম ছাড়া কিছুই পায় না। অতঃপর তারা তাদেরকে নিয়ে উপহাস করে, আল্লাহও তাদেরকে নিয়ে উপহাস করেন এবং তাদের জন্যই রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব।

Those who point at such of the believers as give the alms willingly and such as can find naught to give but their endeavours, and deride them - Allah (Himself) derideth them. Theirs will be a painful doom.
Transliteration
Istaghfir lahum aw la tastaghfir lahum in tastaghfir lahum sabAAeena marratan falan yaghfira Allahu lahum thalika biannahum kafaroo biAllahi warasoolihi waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তুমি তাদের জন্য ক্ষমা চাও, অথবা তাদের জন্য ক্ষমা না চাও। যদি তুমি তাদের জন্য সত্তর বার ক্ষমা চাও, তবুও তাদেরকে কখনো ক্ষমা করবেন না। কারণ তারা ও তাঁর রাসূলের সাথে করেছে, আর ফাসিক লোকদেরকে হিদায়াত দেন না ।

Ask forgiveness for them (O Muhammad), or ask not forgiveness for them; though thou ask forgiveness for them seventy times Allah will not forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, and Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
Transliteration
Fariha almukhallafoona bimaqAAadihim khilafa rasooli Allahi wakarihoo an yujahidoo biamwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi waqaloo la tanfiroo fee alharri qul naru jahannama ashaddu harran law kanoo yafqahoona

পেছনে থাকা লোকগুলো আল্লাহর রাসূলের বিপক্ষে বসে থাকতে পেরে খুশি হল, আর তারা অপছন্দ করল তাদের মাল ও জান নিয়ে আল্লাহর রাস্তায় জিহাদ করতে এবং তারা বলল, ‘তোমরা গরমের মধ্যে বের হয়ো না’। বল, ‘জাহান্নামের আগুন অধিকতর গরম, যদি তারা বুঝত’।

Those who were left behind rejoiced at sitting still behind the messenger of Allah, and were averse to striving with their wealth and their lives in Allah's way. And they said: Go not forth in the heat! Say: The fire of hell is more intense of heat, if they but understood.
অতএব যদি তোমাকে তাদের কোন দলের কাছে ফিরিয়ে আনেন এবং তারা তোমার কাছে বের হওয়ার অনুমতি চায়, তবে তুমি বল, ‘তোমরা আমার সাথে কখনো বের হবে না এবং আমার সাথে কোন দুশমনের বিরুদ্ধে কখনও লড়াই করবে না। নিশ্চয় তোমরা প্রথমবার বসে থাকাই পছন্দ করেছ, সুতরাং তোমরা ব

If Allah bring thee back (from the campaign) unto a party of them and they ask of thee leave to go out (to fight), then say unto them: Ye shall never more go out with me nor fight with me against a foe. Ye were content with sitting still the first time. So sit still, with the useless.
আর তাদের মধ্যে যে মারা গিয়েছে, তার উপর তুমি জানাযা পড়বে না এবং তার কবরের উপর দাঁড়াবে না। নিশ্চয় তারা ও তাঁর রাসূলকে অস্বীকার করেছে এবং তারা ফাসিক অবস্থায় মারা গিয়েছে ।

And never (O Muhammad) pray for one of them who dieth, nor stand by his grave. Lo! they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, and they died while they were evil - doers.
আর তোমাকে যেন মুগ্ধ না করে তাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি, এর দ্বারা কেবল তাদের দুনিয়ার জীবনে আযাব দিতে চান এবং অবস্থায় তাদের জান বের হয়ে যাবে।

Let not their wealth nor their children please thee! Allah purposeth only to punish them thereby in the world, and that their souls shall pass away while they are disbelievers.
আর যখন কোন সূরা এ মর্মে নাযিল করা হয় যে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান আন এবং তাঁর রাসূলের সাথে জিহাদ কর’, তখন তাদের সামর্থ্যবান লোকেরা তোমার কাছে অনুমতি চায় এবং বলে, ‘আমাদেরকে ছেড়ে দাও, আমরা বসে থাকা লোকদের সাথে থাকব’।

And when a surah is revealed (which saith): Believe in Allah and strive along with His messenger, the men of wealth among them still ask leave of thee and say: Suffer us to be with those who sit (at home).
কিন্তু রাসূল ও তার সাথে মুমিনরা তাদের মাল ও জান দিয়ে জিহাদ করে, আর সে সব লোকের জন্যই রয়েছে যাবতীয় কল্যাণ এবং তারাই ।

But the messenger and those who believe with him strive with their wealth and their lives. Such are they for whom are the good things. Such are they who are the .
তাদের জন্য তৈরি করেছেন জান্নাতসমূহ, যার নিচ দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হবে নহরসমূহ, তাতে তারা চিরদিন থাকবে, এটিই মহাসফলতা।

Allah hath made ready for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide. That is the supreme triumph.

Wajaa almuAAaththiroona mina alaAArabi liyuthana lahum waqaAAada allatheena kathaboo Allaha warasoolahu sayuseebu allatheena kafaroo minhum AAathabun aleemun

আর গ্রামবাসীদের থেকে ওযর পেশকারীরা আসল, যেন তাদের অনুমতি দেয়া হয় এবং (জিহাদ না করে) বসে থাকল তারা, যারা ও তাঁর রাসূলের সাথে মিথ্যা বলেছিল। তাদের মধ্য থেকে যারা করেছে, তাদেরকে অচিরেই যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব আক্রান্ত করবে।

And those among the wandering Arabs who had an excuse came in order that permission might be granted them. And those who lied to Allah and His messenger sat at home. A painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve.

Laysa AAala aldduAAafai wala AAala almarda wala AAala allatheena la yajidoona ma yunfiqoona harajun itha nasahoo lillahi warasoolihi ma AAala almuhsineena min sabeelin waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun

কোন দোষ নেই দুর্বলদের উপর, অসুস্থদের উপর ও যারা দান করার মত কিছু পায় না তাদের উপর, যদি তারা ও তাঁর রাসূলের হিতাকাঙ্ক্ষী হয়। সৎকর্মশীলদের উপর (অভিযোগের) কোন পথ নেই, আর ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।

Not unto the weak nor unto the sick nor unto those who can find naught to spend is any fault (to be imputed though they stay at home) if they are true to Allah and His messenger. Not unto the good is there any road (of blame). Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Wala AAala allatheena itha ma atawka litahmilahum qulta la ajidu ma ahmilukum AAalayhi tawallaw waaAAyunuhum tafeedu mina alddamAAi hazanan alla yajidoo ma yunfiqoona

আর তাদের উপরও কোন দোষ নেই, যারা তোমার কাছে আসে, যাতে তুমি তাদের বাহন জোগাতে পার। তুমি বললে, ‘আমি তোমাদেরকে বহন করানোর জন্য কিছু পাচ্ছি না, তখন তারা ফিরে গেল, তাদের চোখ অশ্রুতে ভেসে যাওয়া অবস্থায়, এ দুঃখে যে, তারা পাচ্ছে না এমন কিছু যা তারা ব্যয় করবে’।

Nor unto those whom, when they came to thee (asking) that thou shouldst mount them, thou didst tell: I cannot find whereon to mount you. They turned back with eyes flowing with tears, for sorrow that they could not find the means to spend.
কিন্তু (অভিযোগের) পথ আছে তাদের উপর, যারা তোমার কাছে অনুমতি চায় অথচ তারা ধনী, তারা পেছনে থাকা লোকদের সাথে থাকা বেছে নিয়েছে আর তাদের অন্তর- সমূহের উপর মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছেন, তাই তারা জানে না।

The road (of blame) is only against those who ask for leave of thee (to stay at home) when they are rich. They are content to be with the useless. Allah hath sealed their hearts so that they know not.
Transliteration
YaAAtathiroona ilaykum itha rajaAAtum ilayhim qul la taAAtathiroo lan numina lakum qad nabbaana Allahu min akhbarikum wasayara Allahu AAamalakum warasooluhu thumma turaddoona ila AAalimi alghaybi waalshshahadati fayunabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona

তারা তোমাদের নিকট ওযর পেশ করবে যখন তোমরা তাদের কাছে ফিরে যাবে। বল, ‘তোমরা ওযর পেশ করো না, আমরা তোমাদেরকে কখনো বিশ্বাস করব না। অবশ্যই তোমাদের খবর আমাদেরকে জানিয়ে দিয়েছেন। আর তোমাদের আমল দেখবেন এবং তাঁর রাসূলও। তারপর তোমাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে

They will make excuse to you (Muslims) when ye return unto them. Say: Make no excuse, for we shall not believe you. Allah hath told us tidings of you. Allah and His messenger will see your conduct, and then ye will be brought back unto Him Who knoweth the Invisible as well as the Visible, and He will tell you what ye used to do.
যখন তোমরা তাদের কাছে ফিরে যাবে, তখন অচিরেই তোমাদের কাছে আল্লাহর নামে শপথ করবে, যাতে তোমরা তাদেরকে উপেক্ষা কর। সুতরাং তোমরা তাদেরকে উপক্ষো কর। নিশ্চয় তারা অপবিত্র এবং জাহান্নাম হল তাদের আশ্রয়স্থল। তারা যা অর্জন করত, তার প্রতিফলস্বরূপ ।

They will swear by Allah unto you, when ye return unto them, that ye may let them be. Let them be, for lo! they are unclean, and their abode is hell as the reward for what they used to earn.
Transliteration
Yahlifoona lakum litardaw AAanhum fain tardaw AAanhum fainna Allaha la yarda AAani alqawmi alfasiqeena
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা শপথ করবে তোমাদের নিকট, যাতে তোমরা তাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হও। অতএব তোমরা যদিও তাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হও, তবে নিশ্চয় ফাসিক কওমের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হন না।

They swear unto you, that ye may accept them. Though ye accept them. Allah verily accepteth not wrongdoing folk.
Transliteration
AlaAArabu ashaddu kufran wanifaqan waajdaru alla yaAAlamoo hudooda ma anzala Allahu AAala rasoolihi waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun

বেদুঈনরা কুফর ও কপটতায় কঠিনতর এবং তাঁর রাসূলের উপর যা নাযিল করেছেন তার সীমারেখা না জানার অধিক উপযোগী। আর সর্বজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।

The wandering Arabs are more hard in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be ignorant of the limits which Allah hath revealed unto His messenger. And Allah is Knower, Wise.

Wamina alaAArabi man yattakhithu ma yunfiqu maghraman wayatarabbasu bikumu alddawaira AAalayhim dairatu alssawi waAllahu sameeAAun AAaleemun

And of the wandering Arabs there is he who taketh that which he expendeth (for the cause of Allah) as a loss, and awaiteth (evil) turns of fortune for you (that he may be rid of it). The evil turn of fortune will be theirs. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

Wamina alaAArabi man yuminu biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri wayattakhithu ma yunfiqu qurubatin AAinda Allahi wasalawati alrrasooli ala innaha qurbatun lahum sayudkhiluhumu Allahu fee rahmatihi inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

And of the wandering Arabs there is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day, and taketh that which he expendeth and also the prayers of the messenger as acceptable offerings in the sight of Allah. Lo! verily it is an acceptable offering for them. Allah will bring them into His mercy. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
আর মুহাজির ও আনসারদের মধ্যে যারা প্রথম অগ্রগামী এবং যারা তাদেরকে অনুসরণ করেছে সুন্দরভাবে, তাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছেন আর তারাও আল্লাহর প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে। আর তিনি তাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত করেছেন জান্নাতসমূহ, যার তলদেশে নদী প্রবাহিত, তারা সেখানে চিরস্থ

And the first to lead the way, of the Muhajirin and the Ansar, and those who followed them in goodness - Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him, and He hath made ready for them Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph.
Transliteration
Wamimman hawlakum mina alaAArabi munafiqoona wamin ahli almadeenati maradoo AAala alnnifaqi la taAAlamuhum nahnu naAAlamuhum sanuAAaththibuhum marratayni thumma yuraddoona ila AAathabin AAatheemin

আর তোমাদের আশপাশের মরুবাসীদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক মুনাফিক এবং মদীনাবাসীদের মধ্যেও কিছু লোক অতিমাত্রায় মুনাফিকীতে লিপ্ত আছে। তুমি তাদেরকে জান না। আমি তাদেরকে জানি। অচিরে আমি তাদেরকে দু’বার আযাব দেব তারপর তাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে মহাআযাবের দিকে।

And among those around you of the wandering Arabs there are hypocrites, and among the townspeople of Al - Madinah (there are some who) persist in hypocrisy whom thou (O Muhammad) knowest not. We, We know them, and We shall chastise them twice; then they will be relegated to a painful doom.
Transliteration
Waakharoona iAAtarafoo bithunoobihim khalatoo AAamalan salihan waakhara sayyian AAasa Allahu an yatooba AAalayhim inna Allaha ghafoorun raheemun

আর অন্য কিছু লোক তাদের অপরাধ স্বীকার করেছে, সৎকর্মের সঙ্গে তারা অসৎকর্মের মিশ্রণ ঘটিয়েছে। আশা করা যায়, তাদের তাওবা কবূল করবেন। নিশ্চয় অতি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।

And (there are) others who have acknowledged their faults. They mixed a righteous action with another that was bad. It may be that Allah will relent toward them. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
তাদের সম্পদ থেকে সদাকা নাও। এর মাধ্যমে তাদেরকে তুমি পবিত্র ও পরিশুদ্ধ করবে। আর তাদের জন্য দো‘আ কর, নিশ্চয় তোমার দো‘আ তাদের জন্য প্রশান্তিকর। আর সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।

Take alms of their wealth, wherewith thou mayst purify them and mayst make them grow, and pray for them. Lo! thy prayer is an assuagement for them. Allah is Hearer, Knower.
Transliteration
Alam yaAAlamoo anna Allaha huwa yaqbalu alttawbata AAan AAibadihi wayakhuthu alssadaqati waanna Allaha huwa alttawwabu alrraheemu
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা কি জানে না যে, নিশ্চয় তাঁর বান্দাদের তাওবা কবূল করেন এবং সদাকা গ্রহণ করেন। আর নিশ্চয় তাওবা কবূলকারী, পরম দয়ালু।

Know they not that Allah is He Who accepteth repentance from His bondmen and taketh the alms, and that Allah is He Who is the Relenting, the Merciful.
আর বল, ‘তোমরা আমল কর। অতএব, অচিরেই তোমাদের আমল দেখবেন, তাঁর রাসূল ও মুমিনগণও। আর অচিরেই তোমাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে নেয়া হবে ও প্রকাশ্যের জ্ঞানীর নিকট। অতঃপর তিনি তোমাদেরকে জানাবেন যা তোমরা আমল করতে সে সম্পর্কে’।

And say (unto them): Act! Allah will behold your actions, and (so will) His messenger and the believers, and ye will be brought back to the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will tell you what ye used to do.
আর আল্লাহর আদেশের অপেক্ষায় অপর কিছু লোকের সিদ্ধান্ত পিছিয়ে দেয়া হলো। তিনি তাদেরকে আযাব দেবেন নয়তো তাদের তাওবা কবূল করবেন। আর সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়।

And (there are) others who await Allah's decree, whether He will punish them or will forgive them. Allah is Knower, Wise.

Waallatheena ittakhathoo masjidan diraran wakufran watafreeqan bayna almumineena wairsadan liman haraba Allaha warasoolahu min qablu walayahlifunna in aradna illa alhusna waAllahu yashhadu innahum lakathiboona

আর যারা মসজিদ বানিয়েছে ক্ষতিসাধন, ও মুমিনদের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যে এবং ইতঃপূর্বে ও তাঁর রাসূলের বিরুদ্ধে যে লড়াই করেছে তার ঘাঁটি হিসেবে। আর তারা অবশ্যই শপথ করবে যে, ‘আমরা কেবল ভাল চেয়েছি’। আর সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছেন যে, তারা অবশ্যই মিথ

And as for those who chose a place of worship out of opposition and disbelief, and in order to cause dissent among the believers, and as an outpost for those who warred against Allah and His messenger aforetime, they will surely swear: We purposed naught save good. Allah beareth witness that they verily are liars.

La taqum feehi abadan lamasjidun ossisa AAala alttaqwa min awwali yawmin ahaqqu an taqooma feehi feehi rijalun yuhibboona an yatatahharoo waAllahu yuhibbu almuttahhireena

তুমি সেখানে কখনো ( কায়েম করতে) দাঁড়িও না। অবশ্যই যে মসজিদ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে তাকওয়ার উপর প্রথম দিন থেকে তা বেশী হকদার যে, তুমি সেখানে কায়েম করতে দাঁড়াবে। সেখানে এমন লোক আছে, যারা উত্তমরূপে পবিত্রতা অর্জন করতে ভালবাসে। আর পবিত্রতা অর্জনকারী

Never stand (to pray) there. A place of worship which was found upon duty (to Allah) from the first day is more worthy that thou shouldst stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify themselves. Allah loveth the purifiers.

যে তার গৃহের ভিত্তি আল্লাহর তাকওয়া ও সন্তুষ্টির উপর প্রতিষ্ঠা করল, সে কি উত্তম না ঐ ব্যক্তি যে তার গৃহের ভিত্তি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছে এক গর্তের পতনোন্মুখ কিনারায়? অতঃপর তাকে নিয়ে তা ধসে পড়ল জাহান্নামের আগুনে। আর যালিম কওমকে হিদায়াত দেন না।

Is he who founded his building upon duty to Allah and His good pleasure better; or he who founded his building on the brink of a crumbling, overhanging precipice so that it toppled with him into the fire of hell ? Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
Transliteration
La yazalu bunyanuhumu allathee banaw reebatan fee quloobihim illa an taqattaAAa quloobuhum waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun

The building which they built will never cease to be a misgiving in their hearts unless their hearts be torn to pieces. Allah is Knower, Wise.
Transliteration
Inna Allaha ishtara mina almumineena anfusahum waamwalahum bianna lahumu aljannata yuqatiloona fee sabeeli Allahi fayaqtuloona wayuqtaloona waAAdan AAalayhi haqqan fee alttawrati waalinjeeli waalqurani waman awfa biAAahdihi mina Allahi faistabshiroo bibayAAikumu allathee bayaAAtum bihi wathalika huwa alfawzu alAAatheemu

নিশ্চয় মুমিনদের থেকে তাদের জান ও মাল ক্রয় করে নিয়েছেন (এর বিনিময়ে) যে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে জান্নাত। তারা আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করে। অতএব তারা মারে ও মরে। তাওরাত, ইঞ্জিল ও কুরআনে এ সম্পর্কে সত্য ওয়াদা রয়েছে। আর নিজ ওয়াদা পূরণে আল্লাহর চেয়ে অধিক কে হতে পারে?

Lo! Allah hath bought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs: they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. Who fulfilleth His covenant better than Allah ? Rejoice then in your bargain that ye have made, for that is the supreme triumph.
তারা তাওবাকারী, ইবাদাতকারী, আল্লাহর প্রশংসাকারী, সিয়াম পালনকারী, রুকূকারী, সিজ্দাকারী, সৎকাজের আদেশদাতা, অসৎকাজের নিষেধকারী এবং আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমারেখা হেফাযতকারী। আর মুমিনদেরকে তুমি সুসংবাদ দাও।

(Triumphant) are those who turn repentant (to Allah), those who serve (Him), those who praise (Him), those who fast, those who bow down, those who fall prostrate (in worship), those who enjoin the right and who forbid the wrong and those who keep the limits (ordained) of Allah - And give glad tidings to believers!
Transliteration
Ma kana lilnnabiyyi waallatheena amanoo an yastaghfiroo lilmushrikeena walaw kanoo olee qurba min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahum annahum ashabu aljaheemi

নবী ও মুমিনদের জন্য উচিত নয় যে, তারা মুশরিকদের জন্য ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করবে। যদিও তারা আত্মীয় হয়। তাদের নিকট এটা স্পষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়ার পর যে, নিশ্চয় তারা আগুনের অধিবাসী।

It is not for the Prophet, and those who believe, to pray for the forgiveness of idolaters even though they may be near of kin (to them) after it hath become clear that they are people of hell - fire.
নিজ পিতার জন্য ইবরাহীমের ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা তো ছিল একটি ওয়াদার কারণে, যে ওয়াদা সে তাকে দিয়েছিল। অতঃপর যখন তার নিকট স্পষ্ট হয়ে গেল যে, নিশ্চয় সে আল্লাহর শত্রু, সে তার সাথে সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করল। নিশ্চয় ইবরাহীম ছিল অধিক প্রার্থনাকারী ও সহনশীল।

The prayer of Abraham for the forgiveness of his father was only because of a promise he had promised him, but when it had become clear unto him that he (his father) was an enemy to Allah he (Abraham) disowned him. Lo! Abraham was soft of heart, long - suffering.
Transliteration
Wama kana Allahu liyudilla qawman baAAda ith hadahum hatta yubayyina lahum ma yattaqoona inna Allaha bikulli shayin AAaleemun

আর এমন নন যে, তিনি কোন সম্প্রদায়কে হিদায়াত দানের পর তাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করবেন। যতক্ষণ না তাদের জন্য সুস্পষ্টভাবে বর্ণনা করবেন, যা থেকে তারা সাবধান থাকবে। নিশ্চয় প্রত্যেক বিষয়ে সর্বজ্ঞ।

It was never Allah's (part) that He should send a folk astray after He had guided them until He had made clear unto them what they should avoid. Lo! Allah is Aware of all things.
Transliteration
Inna Allaha lahu mulku alssamawati waalardi yuhyee wayumeetu wama lakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin

নিশ্চয় , তাঁর জন্যই আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের রাজত্ব। তিনি জীবন দান করেন ও মৃত্যু ঘটান। আর ছাড়া তোমাদের জন্য না আছে কোন অভিভাবক, না আছে কোন সাহায্যকারী।

Lo! Allah! Unto Him belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He quickeneth and He giveth death. And ye have, instead of Allah, no protecting friend nor helper.

Laqad taba Allahu AAala alnnabiyyi waalmuhajireena waalansari allatheena ittabaAAoohu fee saAAati alAAusrati min baAAdi ma kada yazeeghu quloobu fareeqin minhum thumma taba AAalayhim innahu bihim raoofun raheemun

অবশ্যই নবী, মুহাজির ও আনসারদের তাওবা কবুল করলেন, যারা তার অনুসরণ করেছে সংকটপূর্ণ মুহূর্তে। তাদের মধ্যে এক দলের হৃদয় সত্যচ্যূত হওয়ার উপক্রম হবার পর। তারপর তাদের তাওবা কবূল করলেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি তাদের প্রতি স্নেহশীল, পরম দয়ালু।

Allah hath turned in mercy to the Prophet, and to the Muhajirin and the Ansar who followed him in the hour of hardship. After the hearts of a party of them had almost swerved aside, then turned He unto them in mercy. Lo! He is Full of Pity, Merciful for them.
Transliteration
WaAAala alththalathati allatheena khullifoo hatta ithadaqat AAalayhimu alardu bima rahubat wadaqat AAalayhim anfusuhum wathannoo an la maljaa mina Allahi illa ilayhi thumma taba AAalayhim liyatooboo inna Allaha huwa alttawwabu alrraheemu

আর সে তিন জনের (তাওবা কবূল করলেন), যাদের বিষয়টি স্থগিত রাখা হয়েছিল। এমনকি পৃথিবী প্রশস্ত হওয়া সত্ত্বেও তাদের জন্য সংকীর্ণ হয়ে গিয়েছিল এবং তাদের নিকট তাদের জীবন দুর্বিসহ হয়ে উঠেছিল। আর তারা নিশ্চিত বুঝেছিল যে, আল্লাহর আযাব থেকে তিনি ছাড়া কোন আশ্রয়স্থল নেই।

And to the three also (did He turn in mercy) who were left behind, when the earth, vast as it is, was straitened for them, and their own souls were straitened for them till they bethought them that there is no refuge from Allah save toward Him. Then turned He unto them in mercy that they (too) might turn (repentant unto Him). Lo! Allah! He is the Relenting, the Merciful.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha wakoonoo maAAa alssadiqeena

O ye who believe! Be careful of your duty to Allah, and be with the truthful.

Ma kana liahli almadeenati waman hawlahum mina alaAArabi an yatakhallafoo AAan rasooli Allahi wala yarghaboo bianfusihim AAan nafsihi thalika biannahum la yuseebuhum thamaon wala nasabun wala makhmasatun fee sabeeli Allahi wala yataoona mawtian yagheethu alkuffara wala yanaloona min AAaduwwin naylan illa kutiba lahum bihi AAamalun salihun inna Allaha la yudeeAAu ajra almuhsineena

It is not for the townsfolk of Al - Madinah and for those around them of the wandering Arabs so stay behind the messenger of Allah and prefer their lives to his life. That is because neither thirst nor toil nor hunger afflicteth them in the way of Allah, nor step they any step that angereth the disbelievers, nor gain they from the enemy a gain, but a good deed is recorded for them therefor. Lo! Allah loseth not the wages of the good.

Wala yunfiqoona nafaqatan sagheeratan wala kabeeratan wala yaqtaAAoona wadiyan illa kutiba lahum liyajziyahumu Allahu ahsana ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

Nor spend they any spending, small or great, nor do they cross a valley, but it is recorded for them, that Allah may repay them the best of what they used to do.

And the believers should not all go out to fight. Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may gain sound knowledge in religion, and that they may warn their folk when they return to them, so that they may beware.
Transliteration
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo qatiloo allatheena yaloonakum mina alkuffari walyajidoo feekum ghilthatan waiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAa almuttaqeena

হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা তোমাদের নিকটবর্তী কাফিরদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কর। এবং তারা যেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কঠোরতা দেখতে পায়। আর জেনে রাখ, মুত্তাকীদের সাথে আছেন।

O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).

Waitha ma onzilat sooratun faminhum man yaqoolu ayyukum zadathu hathihi eemanan faamma allatheena amanoo fazadathum eemanan wahum yastabshiroona

আর যখনই কোন সূরা নাযিল করা হয়, তখন তাদের কেউ কেউ বলে, ‘এটি তোমাদের কার ঈমান বৃদ্ধি করল’? অতএব যারা , নিশ্চয় তা তাদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধি করেছে এবং তারা আনন্দিত হয়।

And whenever a surah is revealed there are some of them who say: Which one of you hath thus increased in faith ? As for those who believe, it hath increased them in faith and they rejoice (therefor).
আর যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি রয়েছে, এটি তাদের অপবিত্রতার সাথে অপবিত্রতা বৃদ্ধি করে এবং তারা মারা যায় অবস্থায়।

But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it only addeth wickedness to their wickedness, and they die while they are disbelievers.
Transliteration
Awala yarawna annahum yuftanoona fee kulli AAamin marratan aw marratayni thumma la yatooboona wala hum yaththakkaroona

তারা কি দেখে না যে, তারা প্রতি বছর এক বার কিংবা দু’বার বিপদগ্রস্ত হয় ? এর পরও তারা তাওবা করে না এবং উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে না।

See they not that they are tested once or twice in every year ? Still they turn not in repentance, neither pay they heed.
Transliteration
Waitha ma onzilat sooratun nathara baAAduhum ila baAAdin hal yarakum min ahadin thumma insarafoo sarafa Allahu quloobahum biannahum qawmun la yafqahoona

আর যখনই কোন সূরা নাযিল করা হয়, তারা একে অপরের দিকে তাকায়। (এবং বলে) ‘তোমাদেরকে কি কেউ দেখছে’? অতঃপর তারা (চুপিসারে) প্রস্থান করে। তাদের হৃদয়কে সত্যবিমুখ করে দেন। এ কারণে যে, তারা বোধশক্তিহীন কওম।

And whenever a surah is revealed, they look one at another (as who should say): Doth anybody see you ? Then they turn away. Allah turneth away their hearts because they are a folk who understand not.
Transliteration
Laqad jaakum rasoolun min anfusikum AAazeezun AAalayhi ma AAanittum hareesun AAalaykum bialmumineena raoofun raheemun

নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদের নিজদের মধ্য থেকে তোমাদের নিকট একজন রাসূল এসেছেন, তা তার জন্য কষ্টদায়ক যা তোমাদেরকে পীড়া দেয়। তিনি তোমাদের কল্যাণকামী, মুমিনদের প্রতি স্নেহশীল, পরম দয়ালু।

There hath come unto you a messenger, (one) of yourselves, unto whom aught that ye are overburdened is grievous, full of concern for you, for the believers full of pity, merciful.
Transliteration
Fain tawallaw faqul hasbiya Allahu la ilaha illa huwa AAalayhi tawakkaltu wahuwa rabbu alAAarshi alAAatheemi

অতঃপর যদি তারা বিমুখ হয়, তবে বল, ‘আমার জন্য আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট, তিনি ছাড়া কোন (সত্য) নেই। আমি তাঁরই উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করেছি। আর তিনিই মহাআরশের রব’।

Now, if they turn away (O Muhammad) say: Allah sufficeth me. There is no God save Him. In Him have I put my trust, and He is Lord of the Tremendous Throne.
