Chapter 36, 83 verses
Yaseen
পরম দয়ালু, পরম ক্ষমাশীল আল্লাহর নামে; ইয়া - সীন,
Ya Seen.
يسٓ
Waalqurani alhakeemi
শপথ জ্ঞানগর্ভ কুরআনের,
I swear by the Quran full of wisdom
وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ
Innaka lamina almursaleena
তুমি অবশ্যই রাসূলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত;
Most surely you are one of the apostles
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
AAala siratin mustaqeemin
তুমি সরল পথে প্রতিষ্ঠিত।
On a right way.
عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
Tanzeela alAAazeezi alrraheemi
কােরআন পরাক্রমশালী পরম দয়ালু আল্লাহর তরফ থাকলে অবর্তীণ,
A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful.
تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Litunthira qawman ma onthira abaohum fahum ghafiloona
যাহাতে তুমি সতর্ক করিতে পার এমন এক জাতিকে যাহাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয় নাই, যাহার ফলে উহারা গাফিল।
That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَٰفِلُونَ
Laqad haqqa alqawlu AAala aktharihim fahum la yuminoona
উহাদের অধিকাংশের জন্য সেই বাণী অবধারিত হইয়াছে; সুতরাং উহারা ঈমান আনিবে না।
Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe.
لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Inna jaAAalna fee aAAnaqihim aghlalan fahiya ila alathqani fahum muqmahoona
আমি উহাদের গলদেশে চিবুক পর্যন্ত বেড়ি পরাইয়াছি, ফলে উহারা ঊর্ধ্বমুখী হইয়া গিয়াছে।
Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft.
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
WajaAAalna min bayni aydeehim saddan wamin khalfihim saddan faaghshaynahum fahum la yubsiroona
আমি উহাদের সম্মুখে প্রাচীর ও পশ্চাতে প্রাচীর স্থাপন করিয়াছি এবং উহাদেরকে আবৃত করিয়াছি; ফলে উহারা দেখিতে পায় না।
And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see.
وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
Wasawaon AAalayhim aanthartahum am lam tunthirhum la yuminoona
তুমি উহাদেরকে সতর্ক কর বা না কর, উহাদের পক্ষে উভয়ই সমান; উহারা ঈমান আনিবে না।
And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe.
وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Innama tunthiru mani ittabaAAa alththikra wakhashiya alrrahmana bialghaybi fabashshirhu bimaghfiratin waajrin kareemin
তুমি কেবল তাহাকেই সতর্ক করিতে পার যে উপদেশ মানিয়া চলে এবং না দেখিয়া দয়াময় আল্লাহকে ভয় করে, অতএব আপনি তাদরেকে সুসংবাদ দয়িে দনি ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক পুরস্কাররে।
You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward.
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ
Inna nahnu nuhyee almawta wanaktubu ma qaddamoo waatharahum wakulla shayin ahsaynahu fee imamin mubeenin
আমিই মৃতকে করি জীবিত এবং লিখিয়া রাখি যাহা উহারা অগ্রে প্রেরণ করে ও যাহা উহারা পশ্চাতে রাখিয়া যায়, আমি তো প্রত্যেক জিনিস স্পষ্ট কিতাবে সংরক্ষিত রাখিয়াছি।
Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing.
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
Waidrib lahum mathalan ashaba alqaryati ith jaaha almursaloona
উহাদের নিকট বর্ণনা কর এক জনপদের অধিবাসীদের দৃষ্টান্ত; যখন তাহাদের নিকট আসিয়াছিল রাসূলগণ।
And set out to them an example of the people of the town, when the apostles came to it.
وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
Ith arsalna ilayhimu ithnayni fakaththaboohuma faAAazzazna bithalithin faqaloo inna ilaykum mursaloona
যখন উহাদের নিকট পাঠাইয়াছিলাম দুইজন রাসূল, তখন উহারা তাহাদেরকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলিয়াছিল, অতঃপর আমি তাহাদেরকে শক্তিশালী করিয়াছিলাম তৃতীয় একজন দ্বারা। তাহারা বলিয়াছিল, ‘আমরা তো তোমাদের নিকট প্রেরিত হইয়াছি।’
When We sent to them two, they rejected both of them, then We strengthened (them) with a third, so they said: Surely we are apostles to you.
إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ
Qaloo ma antum illa basharun mithluna wama anzala alrrahmanu min shayin in antum illa takthiboona
উহারা বলিল, ‘তোমরা আমাদের মতই মানুষ, দয়াময় তো কিছুই অবতীর্ণ করেন নাই। তোমরা কেবল মিথ্যাই বলিতেছ।’
They said: You are naught but mortals like ourselves, nor has the Beneficent Allah revealed anything; you only lie.
قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ
Qaloo rabbuna yaAAlamu inna ilaykum lamursaloona
তাহারা বলিল, ‘আমাদের প্রতিপালক জানেন - আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদের নিকট প্রেরিত হইয়াছি।
They said: Our Lord knows that we are most surely apostles to you.
قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ
Wama AAalayna illa albalaghu almubeenu
‘স্পষ্টভাবে প্রচার করাই আমাদের দায়িত্ব।’
And nothing devolves on us but a clear deliverance (of the message).
وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
Qaloo inna tatayyarna bikum lain lam tantahoo lanarjumannakum walayamassannakum minna AAathabun aleemun
উহারা বলিল, ‘আমরা তো তোমাদেরকে অমঙ্গলের কারণ মনে করি, যদি তোমরা বিরত না হও তোমাদেরকে অবশ্যই প্রস্তরাঘাতে হত্যা করিব এবং আমাদের পক্ষ হইতে তোমাদের উপর মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি অবশ্যই আপতিত হইবে।’
They said: Surely we augur evil from you; if you do not desist, we will certainly stone you, and there shall certainly afflict you a painful chastisement from us.
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Qaloo tairukum maAAakum ain thukkirtum bal antum qawmun musrifoona
তাহারা বলিল, ‘তোমাদের অমঙ্গল তোমাদেরই সঙ্গে; ইহা কি এইজন্য যে, আমরা তোমাদেরকে উপদেশ দিতেছি? বস্তুত তোমরা এক সীমালংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায়।’
They said: Your evil fortune is with you; what! if you are reminded! Nay, you are an extravagant people.
قَالُوا۟ طَٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
Wajaa min aqsa almadeenati rajulun yasAAa qala ya qawmi ittabiAAoo almursaleena
নগরীর প্রান্ত হইতে এক ব্যক্তি ছুটিয়া আসিল। সে বলিল, ‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা রাসূলদের অনুসরণ কর;
And from the remote part of the city there came a man running, he said: O my people! follow the apostles;
وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
IttabiAAoo man la yasalukum ajran wahum muhtadoona
‘অনুসরণ কর তাহাদের, যাহারা তোমাদের নিকট কোন প্রতিদান চায় না এবং যাহারা সৎপথপ্রাপ্ত।
Follow him who does not ask you for reward, and they are the followers of the right course;
ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
Wama liya la aAAbudu allathee fataranee wailayhi turjaAAoona
‘আমার কি যুক্তি আছে যে, যিনি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন এবং যাঁহার নিকট তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হইবে আমি তাঁহার ‘ইবাদত করিব না?
And what reason have I that I should not serve Him Who brought me into existence? And to Him you shall be brought back;
وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Aattakhithu min doonihi alihatan in yuridni alrrahmanu bidurrin la tughni AAannee shafaAAatuhum shayan wala yunqithooni
‘আমি কি তাঁহার পরিবর্তে অন্য ইলাহ্ গ্রহণ করিব? দয়াময় আমাকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্তকরিতে চাইলে উহাদের সুপারিশ আমার কোন কাজে আসিবে না এবং উহারা আমাকে উদ্ধার করিতেও পারিবে না।
What! shall I take besides Him gods whose intercession, If the Beneficent Allah should desire to afflict me with a harm, shall not avail me aught, nor shall they be able to deliver me?
ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ
Innee ithan lafee dalalin mubeenin
‘এইরূপ করিলে আমি অবশ্যই স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে পড়িব।
In that case I shall most surely be in clear error:
إِنِّىٓ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
Innee amantu birabbikum faismaAAooni
‘আমি তো তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের উপর ঈমান আনিয়াছি, অতএব তোমরা আমার কথা শোন।’
Surely I believe in your Lord, therefore hear me.
إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ
Qeela odkhuli aljannata qala ya layta qawmee yaAAlamoona
তাহাকে বলা হইল, ‘জান্নাতে প্রবেশ কর।’ সে বলিয়া উঠিল, ‘হায়! আমার সম্প্রদায় যদি জানিতে পারিত -
It was said: Enter the garden. He said: O would that my people had known
قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ قَالَ يَٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ
Bima ghafara lee rabbee wajaAAalanee mina almukrameena
‘কিরূপে আমার প্রতিপালক আমাকে ক্ষমা করিয়াছেন এবং আমাকে সম্মানিত করিয়াছেন।’
Of that on account of which my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored ones!
بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
Wama anzalna AAala qawmihi min baAAdihi min jundin mina alssamai wama kunna munzileena
আমি তাহার পরে তাহার সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে আকাশ হইতে কোন বাহিনী প্রেরণ করি নাই এবং প্রেরণের প্রয়োজনও ছিল না।
And We did not send down upon his people after him any hosts from heaven, nor do We ever send down.
وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
In kanat illa sayhatan wahidatan faitha hum khamidoona
উহা ছিল কেবল এক মহানাদ। ফলে উহারা নিথর নিস্তব্ধ হইয়া গেল।
It was naught but a single cry, and lo! they were still.
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَٰمِدُونَ
Ya hasratan AAala alAAibadi ma yateehim min rasoolin illa kanoo bihi yastahzioona
পরিতাপ বান্দাদের জন্য; উহাদের নিকট যখনই কোন রাসূল আসিয়াছে তখনই উহারা তাহাকে ঠাট্টা - বিদ্রপকরিয়াছে।
Alas for the servants! there comes not to them an apostle but they mock at him.
يَٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
Alam yaraw kam ahlakna qablahum mina alqurooni annahum ilayhim la yarjiAAoona
উহারা কি লক্ষ্য করে না উহাদের পূর্বে কত মানবগোষ্ঠী আমি ধ্বংস করিয়াছি যাহারা উহাদের মধ্যে ফিরিয়া আসিবে না?
Do they not consider how many of the generations have We destroyed before them, because they do not turn to them?
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Wain kullun lamma jameeAAun ladayna muhdaroona
এবং অবশ্যই উহাদের সকলকে একত্রে আমার নিকট উপস্থিত করা হইবে।
And all of them shall surely be brought before Us.
وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
Waayatun lahumu alardu almaytatu ahyaynaha waakhrajna minha habban faminhu yakuloona
উহাদের জন্য একটি নিদর্শন মৃত ধরিত্রী, যাহাকে আমি সঞ্জীবিত করি এবং উহা হইতে উৎপন্ন করি শস্য যাহা উহারা আহার করে।
And a sign to them is the dead earth: We give life to it and bring forth from it grain SQ they eat of it.
وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
WajaAAalna feeha jannatin min nakheelin waaAAnabin wafajjarna feeha mina alAAuyooni
উহাতে আমি সৃষ্টি করি খর্জুর ও আঙুরের উদ্যান এবং উহাতে উৎসারিত করি প্রস্রবণ,
And We make therein gardens of palms and grapevines and We make springs to flow forth in it,
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَٰبٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ
Liyakuloo min thamarihi wama AAamilathu aydeehim afala yashkuroona
যাহাতে উহারা আহার করিতে পারে উহার ফলমূল হইতে, অথচ উহাদের হস্ত উহা সৃষ্টি করে নাই। তবুও কি উহারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করিবে না?
That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands did not make it; will they not then be grateful?
لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
Subhana allathee khalaqa alazwaja kullaha mimma tunbitu alardu wamin anfusihim wamimma la yaAAlamoona
পবিত্র ও মহান তিনি, যিনি উদ্ভিদ, মানুষ এবং উহারা যাহাদেরকে জানে না তাহাদের প্রত্যেককে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন জোড়া জোড়া করিয়া।
Glory be to Him Who created pairs of all things, of what the earth grows, and of their kind and of what they do not know.
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Waayatun lahumu allaylu naslakhu minhu alnnahara faitha hum muthlimoona
উহাদের জন্য এক নিদর্শন রাত্রি, উহা হইতে আমি দিবালোক অপসারিত করি, তখন উহারা অন্ধকারাচ্ছন্ন হইয়া পড়ে।
And a sign to them is the night: We draw forth from it the day, then lo! they are in the dark;
وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
Waalshshamsu tajree limustaqarrin laha thalika taqdeeru alAAazeezi alAAaleemi
আর সূর্য ভ্রমণ করে উহার নির্দিষ্ট গন্তব্যের দিকে, ইহা পরাক্রমশালী, সর্বজ্ঞের নিয়ন্ত্রণ।
And the sun runs on to a term appointed for it; that is the ordinance of the Mighty, the Knowing.
وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
Waalqamara qaddarnahu manazila hatta AAada kaalAAurjooni alqadeemi
এবং চন্দ্রের জন্য আমি নির্দিষ্ট করিয়াছি বিভিন্ন মনযিল; অবশেষে উহা শুষ্ক বক্র পুরাতন খর্জুর শাখার আকার ধারণ করে।
And (as for) the moon, We have ordained for it stages till it becomes again as an old dry palm branch.
وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
La alshshamsu yanbaghee laha an tudrika alqamara wala allaylu sabiqu alnnahari wakullun fee falakin yasbahoona
সূর্যের পক্ষে সম্ভব নয় চন্দ্রের নাগাল পাওয়া এবং রজনীর পক্ষে সম্ভব নয় দিবসকে অতিক্রম করা; এবং প্রত্যেকে নিজ নিজ কক্ষপথে সন্তরণ করে।
Neither is it allowable to the sun that it should overtake the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day; and all float on in a sphere.
لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَكُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
Waayatun lahum anna hamalna thurriyyatahum fee alfulki almashhooni
উহাদের জন্য এক নিদর্শন এই যে, আমি উহাদের বংশধরদেরকে বোঝাই নৌযানে আরোহণ করাইয়াছিলাম;
And a sign to them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship.
وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
Wakhalaqna lahum min mithlihi ma yarkaboona
এবং উহাদের জন্য অনুরূপ যানবাহন সৃষ্টি করিয়াছি যাহাতে উহারা আরোহণ করে।
And We have created for them the like of it, what they will ride on.
وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
Wain nasha nughriqhum fala sareekha lahum wala hum yunqathoona
আমি ইচ্ছা করিলে উহাদেরকে নিমজ্জিত করিতে পারি; সে অবস্থায় উহাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী থাকিবে না এবং উহারা পরিত্রাণও পাইবে না -
And if We please, We can drown them, then there shall be no succorer for them, nor shall they be rescued
وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
Illa rahmatan minna wamataAAan ila heenin
আমার অনুগ্রহ না হইলে এবং কিছু কালের জন্য জীবনোপভোগ করিতে না দিলে।
But (by) mercy from Us and for enjoyment till a time.
إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
Waitha qeela lahumu ittaqoo ma bayna aydeekum wama khalfakum laAAallakum turhamoona
যখন উহাদেরকে বলা হয়, ‘যাহা তোমাদের সম্মুখে ও তোমাদের পশ্চাতে আছে সে সম্বন্ধে সাবধান হও যাহাতে তোমরা অনুগ্রহভাজন হইতে পার,’
And when it is said to them: Guard against what is before you and what is behind you, that mercy may be had on you.
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
Wama tateehim min ayatin min ayati rabbihim illa kanoo AAanha muAArideena
এবং যখনই উহাদের প্রতিপালকের নিদর্শনাবলীর কোন নিদর্শন উহাদের নিকট আসে, তখনই উহারা তাহা হইতে মুখ ফিরাইয়া নেয়।
And there comes not to them a communication of the communications of their Lord but they turn aside from it.
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍ مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
Waitha qeela lahum anfiqoo mimma razaqakumu Allahu qala allatheena kafaroo lillatheena amanoo anutAAimu man law yashao Allahu atAAamahu in antum illa fee dalalin mubeenin
যখন উহাদেরকে বলা হয়, তোমাদেরকে যে জীবনোপকরণ দিয়াছেন তাহা হইতে ব্যয় কর’ তখন কাফিররা মু’মিনদেরকে বলে, ‘যাহাকে ইচ্ছা করিলে খাওয়াইতে পারিতেন আমরা কি তাহাকে খাওয়াইব? তোমরা তো স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে রহিয়াছ।’
And when it is said to them: Spend out of what Allah has given you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Shall we feed him whom, if Allah please, He could feed? You are in naught but clear error.
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena
উহারা বলে, ‘তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে বল, এই প্রতিশ্রুতি কখন পূর্ণ হইবে?’
And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful?
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
Ma yanthuroona illa sayhatan wahidatan takhuthuhum wahum yakhissimoona
ইহারা তো অপেক্ষায় আছে এক মহানাদের যাহা ইহাদেরকে আঘাত করিবে ইহাদের বাকবিতান্ডাকালে।
They wait not for aught but a single cry which will overtake them while they yet contend with one another.
مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
Fala yastateeAAoona tawsiyatan wala ila ahlihim yarjiAAoona
তখন উহারা ওসিয়াত করিতে সমর্থ হইবে না এবং নিজেদের পরিবার - পরিজনের নিকট ফিরিয়া আসিতেও পারিবে না।
So they shall not be able to make a bequest, nor shall they return to their families.
فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Wanufikha fee alssoori faitha hum mina alajdathi ila rabbihim yansiloona
যখন শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেওয়া হইবে তখনই তাহারা কবর হইতে ছুটিয়া আসিবে তাহাদের প্রতিপালকের দিকে।
And the trumpet shall be blown, when lo! from their graves they shall hasten on to their Lord.
وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
Qaloo ya waylana man baAAathana min marqadina hatha ma waAAada alrrahmanu wasadaqa almursaloona
উহারা বলিবে, ‘হায় ! দুর্ভোগ আমাদের ! কে আমাদেরকে আমাদের নিদ্রাস্থল হইতে উঠাইল, তাে এরই ওয়াদা দয়িছেলিনে এবং রসূলগণ সত্য বলছেলিনে।
They shall say: O woe to us! who has raised us up from our sleeping - place? This is what the Beneficent Allah promised and the apostles told the truth.
قَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
In kanat illa sayhatan wahidatan faitha hum jameeAAun ladayna muhdaroona
ইহা হইবে কেবল এক মহানাদ ; তখনই ইহাদের সকলকে উপস্থিত করা হইবে আমার সম্মুখে,
There would be naught but a single cry, when lo! they shall all be brought before Us;
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
Faalyawma la tuthlamu nafsun shayan wala tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona
আজ কাহারও প্রতি কোন জুলুম করা হইবে না এবং তোমরা যাহা করিতে কেবল তাহারই প্রতিফল দেওয়া হইবে।
So this day no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and you shall not be rewarded aught but that which you did.
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Inna ashaba aljannati alyawma fee shughulin fakihoona
এই দিন জান্নাতবাসিগণ আনন্দে মনগড়া থাকিবে,
Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy.
إِنَّ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍ فَٰكِهُونَ
Hum waazwajuhum fee thilalin AAala alaraiki muttakioona
তাহারা এবং তাহাদের স্ত্রীগণ সুশীতল ছায়ায় সুসজ্জিত আসনে হেলান দিয়া বসিবে।
They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches.
هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ
Lahum feeha fakihatun walahum ma yaddaAAoona
সেখানে থাকিবে তাহাদের জন্য ফলমূল এবং তাহাদের জন্য বাঞ্ছিত সমস্ত কিছু,
They shall have fruits therein, and they shall have whatever they desire.
لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ
Salamun qawlan min rabbin raheemin
সালাম, পরম দয়ালু প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ হইতে সম্ভাষণ।
Peace: a word from a Merciful Lord.
سَلَٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ
Waimtazoo alyawma ayyuha almujrimoona
আর ‘হে অপরাধিগণ! তোমরা আজ পৃথক হইয়া যাও।’
And get aside today, O guilty ones!
وَٱمْتَٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
Alam aAAhad ilaykum ya banee adama an la taAAbudoo alshshaytana innahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun
হে বনী আদম! আমি কি তোমাদেরকে নির্দেশ দিই নাই যে, তোমরা শয়তানের দাসত্ব করিও না, কারণ সে তো তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু?
Did I not charge you, O children of Adam! that you should not serve the Shaitan? Surely he is your open enemy,
أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
Waani oAAbudoonee hatha siratun mustaqeemun
আর আমারই ‘ইবাদত কর, ইহাই সরল পথ।
And that you should serve Me; this is the right way.
وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
Walaqad adalla minkum jibillan katheeran afalam takoonoo taAAqiloona
শয়তান তো তোমাদের বহু দলকে বিভ্রান্ত করিয়াছিল, তবুও কি তোমরা বুঝ নাই?
And certainly he led astray numerous people from among you. What! could you not then understand?
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ
Hathihi jahannamu allatee kuntum tooAAadoona
ইহাই সেই জাহান্নাম, যাহার প্রতিশ্রুতি তোমাদেরকে দেওয়া হইয়াছিল।
This is the hell with which you were threatened.
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
Islawha alyawma bima kuntum takfuroona
আজ তোমরা ইহাতে প্রবেশ কর; কারণ তোমরা ইহাকে অবিশ্বাস করিয়াছিলে।
Enter into it this day because you disbelieved.
ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
Alyawma nakhtimu AAala afwahihim watukallimuna aydeehim watashhadu arjuluhum bima kanoo yaksiboona
আমি আজ ইহাদের মুখ মোহর করিয়া দিব, ইহাদের হস্ত কথা বলিবে আমার সঙ্গে এবং ইহাদের চরণ সাক্ষ্য দিবে ইহাদের কৃতকর্মের।
On that day We will set a seal upon their mouths, and their hands shall speak to Us, and their feet shall bear witness of what they earned.
ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
Walaw nashao latamasna AAala aAAyunihim faistabaqoo alssirata faanna yubsiroona
আমি ইচ্ছা করিলে অবশ্যই ইহাদের চক্ষুগুলিকে লোপ করিয়া দিতাম, তখন ইহারা পথ চলিতে চাহিলে কি করিয়া দেখিতে পাইত!
And if We please We would certainly put out their eyes, then they would run about groping for the way, but how should they see?
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
Walaw nashao lamasakhnahum AAala makanatihim fama istataAAoo mudiyyan wala yarjiAAoona
এবং আমি ইচ্ছা করিলে অবশ্যই স্বস্বস্থানে ইহাদের আকৃতি পরিবর্তন করিয়া দিতাম, ফলে ইহারা চলিতে পারিত না এবং ফিরিয়াও আসিতে পারিত না।
And if We please We would surely transform them in their place, then they would not be able to go on, nor will they return.
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
Waman nuAAammirhu nunakkishu fee alkhalqi afala yaAAqiloona
আমি যাহাকে দীর্ঘ জীবন দান করি প্রকৃতিগতভাবে তাহার অবনতি ঘটাই। তবুও কি উহারা বুঝে না?
And whomsoever We cause to live long, We reduce (him) to an abject state in constitution; do they not then understand?
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
Wama AAallamnahu alshshiAAra wama yanbaghee lahu in huwa illa thikrun waquranun mubeenun
আমি রাসূলকে কাব্য রচনা করিতে শিখাই নাই এবং ইহা তাহার পক্ষে শোভনীয় নয়। ইহা তো কেবল এক উপদেশ এবং সুস্পষ্ট কুরআন;
And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran,
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ
Liyunthira man kana hayyan wayahiqqa alqawlu AAala alkafireena
যাহাতে সে সতর্ক করিতে পারে জীবিতগণকে এবং যাহাতে কাফিরদের বিরুদ্ধে শাস্তির কথা সত্য হইতে পারে।
That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers.
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
Awalam yaraw anna khalaqna lahum mimma AAamilat aydeena anAAaman fahum laha malikoona
উহারা কি লক্ষ্য করে না যে, আমার হাতে সৃষ্ট বস্তুসমূহের মধ্যে উহাদের জন্য আমি সৃষ্টি করিয়াছি ‘আন‘আম’ তথা চতুষ্পদ জন্তু এবং উহারাই এইগুলির অধিকারী?
Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so they are their masters?
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَٰمًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَ
Wathallalnaha lahum faminha rakoobuhum waminha yakuloona
এবং আমি এইগুলিকে তাহাদের বশীভূত করিয়া দিয়াছি। এইগুলির কতক তাহাদের বাহন এবং উহাদের কতক তাহারা আহার করে।
And We have subjected them to them, so some of them they have to ride upon, and some of them they eat.
وَذَلَّلْنَٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
Walahum feeha manafiAAu wamasharibu afala yashkuroona
তাহাদের জন্য এইগুলিতে আছে বহু উপকারিতা আর আছে পানীয় বস্তু। তবুও কি তাহারা কৃতজ্ঞ হইবে না?
And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful?
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
Waittakhathoo min dooni Allahi alihatan laAAallahum yunsaroona
তাহারা তো পরিবর্তে অন্য ইলাহ্ গ্রহণ করিয়াছে এই আশায় যে, তাহারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হইবে।
And they have taken gods besides Allah that they may be helped.
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
La yastateeAAoona nasrahum wahum lahum jundun muhdaroona
কিন্তু এইসব ইলাহ্ তাহাদেরকে সাহায্য করিতে সক্ষম নয়; তাহাদেরকে উহাদের বাহিনীরূপে উপস্থিত করা হইবে।
(But) they shall not be able to assist them, and they shall be a host brought up before them.
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ
Fala yahzunka qawluhum inna naAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona
অতএব তাহাদের কথা তোমাকে যেন দুঃখ না দেয়। আমি তো জানি যাহা তাহারা গোপন করে এবং যাহা তাহারা ব্যক্ত করে।
Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly.
فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
Awalam yara alinsanu anna khalaqnahu min nutfatin faitha huwa khaseemun mubeenun
মানুষ কি দেখে না যে, আমি তাহাকে সৃষ্টি করিয়াছি রক্তবিন্দু হইতে? অথচ পরে সে হইয়া পড়ে প্রকাশ্য বিতণ্ডাকারী।
Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open disputant.
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
Wadaraba lana mathalan wanasiya khalqahu qala man yuhyee alAAithama wahiya rameemun
এবং সে আমার সম্বন্ধে উপমা রচনা করে, অথচ সে নিজের সৃষ্টির কথা ভুলিয়া যায়। সে বলে, ‘কে অস্থিতে প্রাণ সঞ্চার করিবে যখন উহা পচিয়া গলিয়া যাইবে?’
And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten?
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌ
Qul yuhyeeha allathee anshaaha awwala marratin wahuwa bikulli khalqin AAaleemun
বল, ‘উহার মধ্যে প্রাণ সঞ্চার করিবেন তিনিই যিনি ইহা প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন এবং তিনি প্রত্যেকটি সৃষ্টি সম্বন্ধে সম্যক পরিজ্ঞাত।’
Say: He will give life to them Who brought them into existence at first, and He is cognizant of all creation
قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
Allathee jaAAala lakum mina alshshajari alakhdari naran faitha antum minhu tooqidoona
তিনি তোমাদের জন্য সবুজ বৃক্ষ হইতে অগ্নি উৎপাদন করেন এবং তোমরা উহা হইতে কর।
He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire).
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
Awalaysa allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda biqadirin AAala an yakhluqa mithlahum bala wahuwa alkhallaqu alAAaleemu
যিনি আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন তিনি কি তাহাদের অনুরূপ সৃষ্টি করিতে সমর্থ নন? হাঁ, নিশ্চয়ই তিনি মহাস্রষ্টা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower.
أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Innama amruhu itha arada shayan an yaqoola lahu kun fayakoonu
তাঁহার ব্যাপার শুধু এই, তিনি যখন কোন কিছুর ইচ্ছা করেন, তিনি উহাকে বলেন, ‘হও’, ফলে উহা হইয়া যায়।
His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is.
إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
Fasubhana allathee biyadihi malakootu kulli shayin wailayhi turjaAAoona
অতএব পবিত্র ও মহান তিনি, যাঁহার হস্তেই প্রত্যেক বিষয়ের সর্বময় কর্তৃত্ব; আর তাঁহারই নিকট তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হইবে।
Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall be brought back.
فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
