করিন্থীয় ২ - 3আমরা এসব বলে কি আবার নিজেদের বিষয়ে প্রশংসা করতে শুরু করেছি? অথবা কোন কোন লোক য়েমন করে থাকে তেমনি তোমাদের কাছে আমাদেরও কি কোন পরিচয় পত্র নিয়ে য়েতে হবে, বা তোমাদের সুপারিশের কি আমাদের কোন প্রযোজন আছে?

2 Corinthians 3:2Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3তোমরাই আমাদের পরিচয় পত্র, যা আমাদের হৃদয়ে লেখা আছে, যা সমস্ত মানুষ জানতে ও পড়তে পারে৷

2 Corinthians 3:3Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3তোমরা য়ে খ্রীষ্টের লেখা পত্র এবং আমরাই তা পৌঁছে দিয়েছি তা তো দেখতেই পাওয়া যাচ্ছে৷ তা কালি দিয়ে লেখা নয়, কিন্তু জীবন্ত ঈশ্বরের আত্মা দিয়ে লেখা; পাথরের ফলকে লেখা নয়, মানুষের হৃদয়ের ফলকের ওপরই লেখা৷

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3কিন্তু তার অর্থ এই নয় য়ে আমরা নিজেরা নিজেদের য়োগ্যতায় একাজ করতে পারি, তা করার শক্তি ঈশ্বরই দিয়ে থাকেন৷

2 Corinthians 3:6Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3তিনিই আমাদের নতুন চুক্তির সেবক করেছেন৷ এই নতুন চুক্তি কোন লিখিত বিধি-ব্যবস্থা নয় কিন্তু আত্মিক ব্যবস্থা, কারণ লিখিত য়ে বিধি-ব্যবস্থা তা মৃত্যু নিয়ে আসে কিন্তু আত্মা জীবন দান করে৷

2 Corinthians 3:7But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3য়ে বিধি-ব্যবস্থায় মানুষ দোষী প্রতিপন্ন হচ্ছিল তা যদি মহিমামণ্ডিত হয়ে থাকে, তবে য়ে বিধি-ব্যবস্থা মানুষকে ঈশ্বরের কাছে ধার্মিক প্রতিপন্ন করে তার মহিমা আরও কত না বেশী হবে৷

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3য়ে বিধি-ব্যবস্থা অল্প দিনের মধ্যে লোপ পেয়ে গেল তার মহিমা যদি এত উজ্জ্বল হয়ে থাকে, তবে য়ে বিধি-ব্যবস্থা চিরস্থাযী তার মহিমা আরও কত না বেশী উজ্জ্বল হবে!

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3আমরা মোশির মত নই৷ মোশি তো নিজের মুখ ঢেকে রাখতেন যাতে ইস্রায়েলীয়রা সেই উজ্জ্বলতা দেখতে না পায়, কারণ সেই মহিমা কমতে কমতে মিলিয়ে যাচ্ছিল৷

2 Corinthians 3:14But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3তাদের মন কঠোর হয়ে গিয়েছিল, কারণ যখন শাস্ত্র পড়া হয় তখন মনে হয় আজও তাদের সেই আবরণ রয়েই গেছে৷ সেই আবরণ এখনও সরে নি, একমাত্র খ্রীষ্টের মাধ্যমেই সেই আবরণ সরিয়ে দেওয়া সন্ভব৷

করিন্থীয় ২ - 3তাই, যখন আমরা অনাদৃত মুখে আয়নায় দেখা ছবির মত করে প্রভুর মহিমা দেখতে থাকি, তখন তা দেখতে দেখতে আমরা সকলেই তাঁর সেই (মহিমাময়) রূপে রূপান্তরিত হতে থাকি৷ সেই রূপান্তর আমাদের মহিমা থেকে উজ্জ্বলতর মহিমার মধ্যে নিয়ে যায়৷ এই মহিমা আমরা প্রভু, যিনি আজ্ঞা করেন তাঁর কাছ থেকে লাভ করি৷
