Chapter 170, 22 verses
Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
এফেসীয় - 2 অতীতে পাপের দরুন ও ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে অপরাধের দরুন তোমাদের আত্মিক জীবন মৃত ছিল৷
Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
এফেসীয় - 2 হ্যাঁ, অতীতে ঐসব পাপ নিয়ে তোমরা জীবনযাপন করতে৷ জগত্ য়েভাবে চলে তোমরা সেভাবেই চলতে৷ তোমরা আকাশের মন্দ শক্তির অধিপতির অনুসরণকারী ছিলে৷ সেই একই আত্মা এখনও যাঁরা ঈশ্বরের অবাধ্য তাদের মধ্যে ক্রিয়াশীল৷
Ephesians 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
এফেসীয় - 2 অতীতে আমরা সকলে ঐ লোকদের মত চলতাম৷ আমাদের কুপ্রকৃতির লালসাকে চরিতার্থ করতে চেষ্টা করতাম৷ আমরা আমাদের দেহ ও মনের অভিলাষ অনুযাযী চলতাম৷ আমাদের য়ে অবস্থা ছিল তার দরুন ঐশ্বরিক ক্রোধ আমাদের ওপর নেমে আসতে পারত, কারণ আমরা অন্য আর পাঁচজনের মতোই ছিলাম৷
Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
এফেসীয় - 2 কিন্তু ঈশ্বরের করুণা অসীম৷ তিনি তাঁর মহান ভালবাসায় আমাদের কতো ভালবাসেন৷
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
এফেসীয় - 2 ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে য়েসব অন্যায় কাজ করেছিলাম তার ফলেই আমরা আত্মিকভাবে মৃত ছিলাম; কিন্তু ঈশ্বর খ্রীষ্ট যীশুর সাথে আমাদের নতুন জীবন দিলেন৷ তোমরা ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহেই উদ্ধার পেয়েছ৷
Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
এফেসীয় - 2 ঈশ্বর যীশু খ্রীষ্টের সঙ্গে আমাদের জীবিত করে স্বর্গীয়স্থানে তাঁর পাশে বসতে আসন দিয়েছেন৷
Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
এফেসীয় - 2 ঈশ্বর এই কাজ করলেন য়েন আগামী যুগপর্য়ায়ে তাঁর অতুলনীয় মহানুগ্রহ সকলের প্রতি দেখাতে পারেন৷ খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে আমাদের প্রতি দয়াপরবশ হয়ে এই অনুগ্রহ তিনি প্রকাশ করেছেন৷
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
এফেসীয় - 2 কারণ ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহের দ্বারা বিশ্বাসের মধ্য দিয়ে তোমরা উদ্ধার পেয়েছ৷ বিশ্বাস করাতেই তোমরা সেই অনুগ্রহ পেয়েছ৷ তোমরা নিজেরা নিজেদের উদ্ধার কর নি; কিন্তু তা ঈশ্বরের দানরূপে পেয়েছ৷
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
এফেসীয় - 2 তোমাদের নিজেদের কর্মের ফল হিসেবে তোমরা উদ্ধার পাও নি, তাই কেউই গর্ব করে বলতে পারে না য়ে সে তার নিজের দ্বারা উদ্ধার পেয়েছে৷
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
এফেসীয় - 2 কারণ ঈশ্বরই আমাদের নির্মাণ করেছেন৷ খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে ঈশ্বর আমাদের নতুন সৃষ্টি করেছেন য়েন আমরা সর্বপ্রকার সত্ কাজ করি৷ এইসব সত্ কর্ম ঈশ্বর পূর্বেই আমাদের জন্য তৈরী করে রেখেছিলেন যাতে আমরা সেই সত্ কাজ করে জীবন কাটাতে পারি৷
Ephesians 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
এফেসীয় - 2 তোমরা অইহুদী, পরজাতিরূপে জন্মেছিলে৷ তোমরাই সেই লোক যাদের সুন্নত ইহুদীরা বলে ‘অসুন্নত’৷ তাদের সুন্নত হওয়া কেবল এক প্রক্রিয়া, যা দেহের ওপর মানুষের হাত দ্বারা করা হয়৷
Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
এফেসীয় - 2 মনে রেখো অতীতে সেই সময় তোমরা খ্রীষ্ট থেকে দূরে ছিলে৷ তোমরা ইস্রায়েলের নাগরিক ছিলে না৷ ঈশ্বর তাঁর প্রজাদের সঙ্গে য়ে চুক্তিগুলি করেছিলেন, তোমরা সেইসব প্রতিশ্রুতিযুক্ত চুক্তিগুলির বাইরে ছিলে৷ তোমাদের প্রত্যাশা ছিল না আর তোমরা ঈশ্বরকে জানতে না৷
Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
এফেসীয় - 2 এক সময় তোমরা ঈশ্বর থেকে বহুদূরে ছিলে; কিন্তু এখন খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে তোমরা নিকটবর্তী হয়েছ৷
Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
এফেসীয় - 2 খ্রীষ্টই আমাদের শান্তির উত্স৷ ইহুদী ও অইহুদীদের মধ্যে য়ে শত্রুভাব প্রাচীরের মত ব্যবধান সৃষ্টি করেছিল, খ্রীষ্ট নিজ দেহ উত্সর্গ করে ঘৃণা ও ব্যবধানের সেই প্রাচীর ভেঙ্গে দিয়েছেন৷
Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
এফেসীয় - 2 ইহুদীদের বিধি-ব্যবস্থায় অনেক আদেশ নিয়মকানুন ছিল; কিন্তু খ্রীষ্ট সেই বিধি-ব্যবস্থা লোপ করেছেন৷ খ্রীষ্টের উদ্দেশ্য ছিল ঐ দুই দলের মধ্যে শান্তি স্থাপন করা এবং নিজের মধ্যে দিয়ে ঐ দুই দল থেকে এক নতুন মানুষ সৃষ্টি করা,
Ephesians 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
এফেসীয় - 2 এবং ক্রুশের ওপর তাঁর মৃত্যুর মাধ্যমে দুই জনগোষ্ঠীকে ঈশ্বরের সাথে একই দেহে পুনর্মিলিত করা৷ এর ফলে দুই দলের মধ্যে য়ে শত্রুভাব ছিল, তার অবসান ঘটল৷
Ephesians 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
এফেসীয় - 2 তাই খ্রীষ্টে এসে তোমরা যাঁরা ঈশ্বর থেকে দূরে ছিলে, তোমাদের কাছে শান্তির বাণী প্রচার করলেন; আর যাঁরা ঈশ্বরের কাছের লোক তাদের কাছে শান্তি নিয়ে এলেন৷
Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
এফেসীয় - 2 হ্যাঁ, খ্রীষ্টের মাধ্যমে আমরা সকলে একই আত্মার দ্বারা পিতার কাছে আসতে পারি৷
Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
এফেসীয় - 2 তাই, হে অইহুদীরা, এখন তোমরা আর আগন্তুক বা বিদেশী নও৷ এখন ঈশ্বরের পবিত্র লোকদের সঙ্গে তোমরাও নাগরিক৷ তোমরা ঈশ্বরের পরিবারের সদস্য৷
Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
এফেসীয় - 2 প্রেরিতরা ও ভাববাদীরা য়ে ভিত গেঁথেছিলেন তার ওপর তোমাদের গেঁথে তোলা হচ্ছে৷ খ্রীষ্ট স্বয়ং হচ্ছেন সেই দালানের গাঁথনীর প্রধান পাথর,
Ephesians 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
এফেসীয় - 2 যা গোটা দালানটিকে ধরে রেখেছে৷ খ্রীষ্ট এই দালানটি গড়ে তোলেন য়েন তা প্রভুতে এক পবিত্র মন্দিরে পরিণত হতে পারে৷
Ephesians 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
এফেসীয় - 2 খ্রীষ্টে তোমাদের অন্য মানুষদের সঙ্গে একই সাথে গেঁথে তোলা হচ্ছে৷ তোমাদের এমন এক স্থান হিসেবে গঠন করা হয়েছে য়েখানে ঈশ্বর আত্মার মাধ্যমে বাস করেন৷
