Chapter 238, 25 verses
Jude 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
যুদের পত্র - 1 আমি যিহূদা, যীশু খ্রীষ্টের দাস এবং যাকোবের ভাই, এই চিঠি তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে লিখছি যাদের ঈশ্বর আহ্বান করেছেন৷ পিতা ঈশ্বর তোমাদের ভালোবাসেন এবং যীশু খ্রীষ্টের দ্বারা তোমাদের রক্ষা করেন৷
Jude 1:2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
যুদের পত্র - 1 ঈশ্বর তাঁর দয়া, শান্তি এবং প্রেম আরো অধিক পরিমাণে তোমাদের জীবনে দান করুন৷
Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
যুদের পত্র - 1 প্রিয় বন্ধুরা, আমাদের সকলের জন্য য়ে পরিত্রাণের ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে তারই বিষয়ে আমি তোমাদের কিছু লিখতে আগ্রহী ছিলাম৷ কিন্তু তবু একবার য়ে বিশ্বাস তোমরা লাভ করেছ, বা চিরদিনের জন্য উত্তম, যা ঈশ্বর তাঁর পবিত্র লোকদের দিয়েছেন, তার পক্ষে য়েন তোমরা প্রাণপণে যুদ্ধ কর সেই বিষয়ে উত্সাহ দেবার জন্য তোমাদের কাছে লেখা দরকার বলে আমি মনে করলাম৷
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
যুদের পত্র - 1 কারণ এমন কিছু লোক গোপনে তোমাদের দলে ঢুকে পড়েছে যাদের সম্বন্ধে বহুপূর্বেই শাস্ত্রে দণ্ডাজ্ঞার কথা লেখা হয়েছে৷ এই অধার্মিক লোকেরা ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহকে তাদের অনৈতিক কাজকর্মের অজুহাতে পরিণত করেছে; আর যীশু খ্রীষ্ট য়ে আমাদের একমাত্র কর্তা ও প্রভু তা এরা অস্বীকার করে৷
Jude 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
যুদের পত্র - 1 আমি তোমাদের কিছু কথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দিতে চাই, যদিও তোমরা সকলেই এসব বিষয় জান, তবু বলব প্রভু মিশর দেশ থেকে তাঁর প্রজাদের উদ্ধার করে পরে যাঁরা অবিশ্বাসী তাদের সকলকে ধ্বংস করেছিলেন৷
Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
যুদের পত্র - 1 আমি তোমাদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দিতে চাই, য়ে সেই স্বর্গদূতরা যাঁরা নিজেদের আধিপত্য রক্ষা না করে নিজ বাসস্থান ত্যাগ করেছিল, তাদের তিনি (ঈশ্বর) ঘোর অন্ধকার কারাগারে অনন্তকালীন শেকলে বেঁধে রেখেছেন আর মহাবিচারের দিনে তাদের বিচার করা হবে৷
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
যুদের পত্র - 1 সদোম, ঘমোরা ও তাদের আশেপাশের নগরগুলির কথা ভুলে য়েও না৷ এই স্বর্গদূতদের মতো তারাও নীতিহীন য়ৌনতায় প্রবৃত্ত হত এবং অস্বাভাবিক য়ৌনসংসর্গে লিপ্ত হত৷ অনন্ত আগুনে শাস্তি ভোগ করে তারা আমাদের সামনে দৃষ্টান্তস্বরূপ হয়ে রয়েছে৷
Jude 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
যুদের পত্র - 1 একইভাবে এই লোকরা, যাঁরা তোমাদের দলে এসেছে, তারা নিজেদের স্বপ্ন দ্বারা চালিত হয় এবং নিজেদের দেহকে পাপে কলুষিত করে৷ তারা প্রভুর কর্তৃত্ত্ব (নিয়ম) অগ্রাহ্য করে আর যাঁরা সম্মানীয় ব্যক্তি তাদের নিন্দা করে৷
Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
যুদের পত্র - 1 কিন্তু প্রধান স্বর্গদূত মীখায়েলের কথা আমরা জানি, যখন তিনি মোশির দেহ নিয়ে দিয়াবলের সঙ্গে তর্ক করছিলেন তখন তিনি দিয়াবলকে কোন কটু কথা বলতে সাহস করেন নি, তার পরিবর্তে শুধু বলেছিলেন, ‘প্রভু তোমাকে তিরস্কার করুন৷’
Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
যুদের পত্র - 1 কিন্তু এই লোকরা য়ে সব বিষয় বোঝে না তারই নিন্দা করে; আর চিন্তা দ্বারা নয় বরং তাদের স্বাভাবিক অনুভূতির দ্বারা যা বোঝে, যুক্তিবিহীন পশুদের মত তাই করে নিজেদের ধ্বংস ডেকে আনে৷
Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
যুদের পত্র - 1 তাদের ধিক্, কারণ কয়িন য়ে পথে গিয়েছিল তারাও সেই পথ ধরেছে৷ তারা বিলিয়মের মতো টাকার লোভে ভ্রান্ত পথে চলেছে৷ আর কোরহের মতো বিদ্রোহী হয়ে ধ্বংসের পথে চলেছে৷
Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
যুদের পত্র - 1 এইসব লোকরা তোমাদের প্রেমভোজে ময়লা দাগের মতো৷ কোন ভয় না করে তারা তোমাদের সঙ্গে ভোজ খায় এবং কেবল নিজেদের কথাই ভাবে৷ তারা হাওয়ায় ভেসে যাওয়া বৃষ্টিহীন মেঘের মতো, ফলনের ঋতুতে ফলহীন বলে শেকড় সমেত উপড়ে ফেলা গাছের মতো; সুতরাং তারা দুই বার মৃত৷
Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
যুদের পত্র - 1 তাদের লজ্জাজনক কাজ উত্তাল সমুদ্রে তৈরী ছড়িয়ে যাওয়া ফেনার মতো৷ ঐ লোকগুলি আকাশে ইতস্ততঃ ভ্রমণরত তারার মতো৷ ঘনতম অন্ধকারের মধ্যে তাদের জন্য এক অনন্তকালীন স্থান রয়েছে৷
Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
যুদের পত্র - 1 আদমের থেকে সপ্তম পুরুষ য়ে হনোক, তিনিও এই লোকদের সম্বন্ধে ভাববাণী করেছেন: ‘দেখ তাঁর লক্ষ লক্ষ পবিত্র স্বর্গদূতদের সঙ্গে নিয়ে প্রভু আসছেন৷
Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
যুদের পত্র - 1 তিনি সকলের বিচার করার জন্য এবং সকলকে তাদের কৃত সকল অধার্মিক কাজকর্মের জন্য শাস্তি দিতে আসছেন৷ এইসব অধার্মিক পাপী তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে যত সব উদ্ধত কথাবার্তা বলেছে সেই কারণে তাদের দোষী ঘোষণা করার জন্য আসছেন৷’
Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
যুদের পত্র - 1 তারা সব সময় অভিযোগ ও নিন্দা করে, তাদের নিজেদের অভিলাষ অনুসারে চলে৷ নিজেদের বিষয়ে গর্ব করে এবং লাভের আশায় তারা অন্যদের তোষামোদ করে৷
Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
যুদের পত্র - 1 প্রিয় বন্ধুরা, আমাদের প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের প্রেরিতেরা যা বলে গেছেন তা মনে রেখো৷
Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
যুদের পত্র - 1 তারা তো তোমাদের বলতেন, ‘শেষের সময় এমন সব উপহাসকরা উঠবে যাঁরা নিজেদের ইচ্ছানুযাযী ঈশ্বর-বিরুদ্ধ কাজ করবে৷’
Jude 1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
যুদের পত্র - 1 এই লোকরাই তোমাদের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টি করে৷ তারা তাদের পাপ প্রবৃত্তির দাস৷ তাদের সেই আত্মা নেই৷
Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
যুদের পত্র - 1 কিন্তু প্রিয় বন্ধু, তোমরা নিজেদের পরম পবিত্র বিশ্বাসের ওপর গেঁথে তোল৷ পবিত্র আত্মাতে প্রার্থনা কর৷
Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
যুদের পত্র - 1 নিজেদের ঈশ্বরের প্রেমে রাখ; আর অনন্ত জীবনের জন্য আমাদের প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের দয়া লাভের অপেক্ষায় থাক৷
Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
যুদের পত্র - 1 যাদের মনে সন্দেহ আছে, এমন লোকদের সাহায্য কর৷
Jude 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
যুদের পত্র - 1 নরকের আগুন থেকে ছিনিয়ে নিয়ে তাদের পরিত্রাণ দ্বারা রক্ষা কর৷ অন্যদের প্রতি সতর্কভাবে করুণা প্রদর্শন কর; কিন্তু পাপের দ্বারা কলঙ্কিত তাদের বস্ত্রকে ঘৃণা কর৷
Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
যুদের পত্র - 1 ঈশ্বর শক্তিশালী, তিনি তোমাদের পড়ে যাওয়া থেকে রক্ষা করবেন; আর নিজের মহিমার সামনে নির্দোষ অবস্থায় আনন্দের সঙ্গে তোমাদের উপস্থিত করতে তিনি সক্ষম৷
Jude 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
যুদের পত্র - 1 তিনিই একমাত্র ঈশ্বর, আমাদের উদ্ধারকর্তা৷ আমাদের প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের দ্বারা তাঁরই প্রতাপ, মহিমা, পরাক্রম ও কর্তৃত্ত্ব যুগপর্য়ায়ে যুগে যুগে অবিচল থাকুক্৷ আমেন৷
