লুক - 19 তাই সবার আগে ছুটে গিয়ে য়ে পথ ধরে যীশু আসছিলেন, সেই পথের পাশে একটা সুকমোর গাছে উঠল যাতে সেখান থেকে যীশুকে দেখতে পায়৷

লুক - 19 যীশু সেখানে এসে ওপর দিকে তাকিয়ে বললেন, ‘সক্কেয় তাড়াতাড়ি নেমে এস, কারণ আজ আমায় তোমার ঘরে থাকতে হবে৷’

লুক - 19 সেখানে যাঁরা ছিল, এই দেখে তারা সকলে অনুয়োগের সুরে বলল, ‘উনি একজন পাপীর ঘরে অতিথি হয়ে গেলেন৷’

Luke 19:8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

Luke 19:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

Luke 19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

লুক - 19 আপনার বিষয়ে আমার খুব ভয় ছিল, কারণ আপনি খুব কঠিন লোক৷ আপনি যা জমা করেন নি তাই নিয়ে থাকেন, আর যা বোনেন না তার ফসল কাটেন৷’

Luke 19:22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

Luke 19:23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
