Chapter 607, 8 verses
সামসঙ্গীত / Psalms - 129 রা জীবন ধরে আমার অনেক শত্রু ছিলো। হে ইস্রায়েল, আমাকে ঐ শত্রুদের সম্পর্কে বল।
Psalms 129:1 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
সামসঙ্গীত / Psalms - 129 সারা জীবন ধরে আমার অনেক শত্রু ছিলো। কিন্তু তারা কখনই জয়ী হয় নি।
Psalms 129:2 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
সামসঙ্গীত / Psalms - 129 আমার পিঠে গভীর ক্ষত না হওয়া পর্য়ন্ত তারা আমায় মেরেছিল। আমার দীর্ঘ গভীর ক্ষত হয়েছিল।
Psalms 129:3 The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
সামসঙ্গীত / Psalms - 129 কিন্তু মঙ্গলময় প্রভু দড়ি কেটে দিয়েছিলেন। আমাকে ঐ মন্দ লোকদের হাত থেকে মুক্ত করেছিলেন।
Psalms 129:4 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
সামসঙ্গীত / Psalms - 129 যারা সিয়োনকে ঘৃণা করতো তারা পরাজিত হয়েছে। য়ুদ্ধ থামিযে দিয়ে ওরা দৌড়ে পালিয়ে গেছে।
Psalms 129:5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
সামসঙ্গীত / Psalms - 129 ঐ লোকগুলো ছাদের ওপর জন্মান ঘাসের মত। সেই ঘাস বেড়ে ওঠার আগেই মারা যায়।
Psalms 129:6 Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
সামসঙ্গীত / Psalms - 129 কজন শ্রমিক সেই ঘাস থেকে এক মুঠো দানাও পায় না। এক গাদা দানার জন্য সেখানে য়থেষ্ট ছিল না।
Psalms 129:7 Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
সামসঙ্গীত / Psalms - 129 পাশ দিয়ে যাওয়ার সময় কোনও লোকে বলবে না “প্রভু তোমায় আশীর্বাদ করুন।” ওদের অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে লোকে বলবে না, “প্রভুর নামে আমরা তোমায় আশীর্বাদ করি।”
Psalms 129:8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
