Chapter 28, 20 verses
মথি - 28 বিশ্রামবারেরশেষে সপ্তাহের প্রথম দিন, অর্থাত্, ববিবার খুব ভোরে মগ্দলীনী মরিয়ম ও অন্য মরিয়ম কবরটা দেখতে এলেন৷
Matthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
মথি - 28 তখন হঠাত্ ভীষণ ভূমিকম্প হল, কারণ প্রভুর একজন স্বর্গদূত স্বর্গ থেকে নেমে এসে সেই পাথরখানা সমাধিগুহার মুখ থেকে সরিয়ে দিলেন ও তার ওপরে বসলেন৷
Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
মথি - 28 তাঁর চেহারা বিদ্যুত ঝলকের মতো উজ্জ্বল ও তাঁর পোশাক তুষারশুভ্র৷
Matthew 28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
মথি - 28 তাঁর ভয়ে পাহারাদাররা কাঁপতে কাঁপতে মড়ার মতো হয়ে গেল৷
Matthew 28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
মথি - 28 সেই স্বর্গদূত ঐ স্ত্রীলোকদের বললেন, ‘তোমরা ভয় পেও না, আমি জানি তোমরা, য়াঁকে ক্রুশে দিয়েছিলে তাঁকে খুঁজছ৷
Matthew 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
মথি - 28 কিন্তু তিনি এখানে নেই৷ তিনি য়েমন বলেছিলেন, তেমনি পুনরুত্থিত হয়েছেন৷ এস, য়েখানে তাঁকে শুইয়ে রাখা হয়েছিল তা দেখ;
Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
মথি - 28 আর তাড়াতাড়ি গিয়ে তাঁর শিষ্যদের বল, ‘তিনি মৃতদের মধ্য থেকে পুনরুত্থিত হয়েছেন৷ তিনি তোমাদের আগে আগে গালীলে যাচ্ছেন, তোমরা তাঁকে সেখানে দেখতে পাবে৷’ আমি তোমাদের য়ে কথা বললাম তা মনে রেখো৷
Matthew 28:7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
মথি - 28 তখন সেইস্ত্রীলোকেরা তাড়াতাড়ি কবরের কাছ থেকে চলে গেলেন৷ তাঁরা খুব ভয় পেয়ে গিয়েছিলেন, তবু তাঁদের মন আনন্দে ভরে গিয়েছিল, তাঁরা যীশুর শিষ্যদের একথা বলার জন্য দৌড়ালেন৷
Matthew 28:8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
মথি - 28 হঠাত্ যীশু তাঁদের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাত্ করে বললেন, ‘শুভেচ্ছা নাও!’ তখন তাঁরা যীশুর কাছে গিয়ে তাঁর পা জড়িয়ে ধরে তাঁকে প্রণাম করলেন৷
Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
মথি - 28 যীশু তাঁদের বললেন, ‘ভয় করো না, তোমরা যাও, আমার ভাইদের গিয়ে বল, তারা য়েন গালীলে যায়, সেখানেই আমার দেখা পাবে৷’
Matthew 28:10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
মথি - 28 সেই মহিলারা যখন যাচ্ছিলেন, তখন সেই পাহারাদারদের কয়েকজন শহরে গিয়ে যা যা ঘটেছিল তা প্রধান যাজকদের বলল৷
Matthew 28:11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
মথি - 28 প্রধান যাজকরা ইহুদী নেতাদের সঙ্গে দেখা করে একটা ফন্দি আঁটলো৷ তারা সেই পাহারাদারদের অনেক টাকা দিয়ে বলল,
Matthew 28:12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
মথি - 28 ‘তোমরা লোকদের বলো, ‘আমরা রাতে যখন ঘুমাচ্ছিলাম সেইসময় যীশুর শিষ্যরা এসে তাঁর দেহটা চুরি করে নিয়ে গেছে৷
Matthew 28:13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
মথি - 28 আর একথা যদি রাজ্যপালের কানে যায়, আমরা তাঁকে বোঝাব আর তোমাদের ঝামেলার হাত থেকে দূরে রাখব৷’
Matthew 28:14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
মথি - 28 তারা সেইটাকা নিয়ে তাদের য়েমন বলতে শেখানো হয়েছিল তেমনই বলল৷ ইহুদীদের মধ্যে আজও এই গল্পটাই প্রচলিত আছে৷
Matthew 28:15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
মথি - 28 এবার সেই এগারো জন শিষ্য গালীলে ফিরে গিয়ে যীশু তাঁদের য়েমন বলেছিলেন সেই মতো সেই পর্বতে গেলেন৷
Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
মথি - 28 তাঁরা যীশুকে দেখে ভুমিষ্ঠ হয়ে তাঁকে প্রণাম করলেন৷ তবে তাঁদের কয়েকজনের মধ্যে সন্দেহ দেখা দিল,
Matthew 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
মথি - 28 তখন যীশু কাছে এসে তাদের বললেন, ‘স্বর্গে ও পৃথিবীতে পূর্ণ ক্ষমতা ও কর্ত্তৃত্ব আমাকে দেওযা হয়েছে৷
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
মথি - 28 তাই তোমরা যাও, তোমরা গিয়ে সকল জাতির মানুষকে আমার শিষ্য কর৷ পিতা, পুত্র ও পবিত্র আত্মার নামে বাপ্তিস্ম দাও৷
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
মথি - 28 আমি তোমাদের য়েসব আদেশ দিয়েছি, সেসব তাদের পালন করতে শেখাও আর দেখ যুগান্ত পর্যন্ত প্রতিদিন আমি সর্বদাইতোমাদের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আছি৷’
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
