Chapter 50, 45 verses
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Qaf. [These letters (Qaf, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Glorious Qur'an.
বিসমিল্লাহির রাহমা-নির রাহি-ম ক্বা-ফ্ অল্কুরআ-নিল্ মাজ্বীদ্।
Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing!
বাল্ 'আজ্বিবূ য় আন্ জ্বা-য়াহুম্ মুন্যিরুম্ মিন্হুম্ ফাক্ব-লাল্ কা-ফিরূনা হা-যা- শাইয়ুন্ 'আজ্বীব।
"When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return."
আইযা-মিত্না-অকুন্না-তুর-বান্ যা-লিকা রাজ্ব 'উম্ বা'ঈদ্।
We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees).
ক্বদ্ 'আলিম্না-মা-তান্কুছুল্ র্আদু মিন্হুম্ অ'ইন্দানা-কিতা-বুন্ হাফীজ্।
Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Qur'an) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (cannot differentiate between right and wrong).
বাল্ কায্যাবূ বিল্হাক্ব ক্বি লাম্মা- জ্বা-য়াহুম্ ফাহুম্ ফী য় আম্রীম্ মারীজ্ব ।
Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it?
আফালাম্ ইয়ান্জুরূ য় ইলাস্ সামা-য়ি ফাওক্বহুম্ কাইফা বানাইনা-হা- অযাইয়্যান্না-হা- অমা- লাহা- মিন্ ফুরূজ্ব ।
And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants).
অল্ র্আদ্বোয়া মাদাদ্না-হা- ওয়া আল্ক্বইনা-ফীহা-রাওয়া-সিয়া অআম্বাত্না-ফীহা-মিন্ কুল্লি যাওজ্বিম্ বাহীজ্ব ।
An insight and a Reminder for every slave who turns to Allah in repentance (i.e. the one who believes in the Oneness of Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon).
তাব্ছিরতাঁও যিক্র-লিকুল্লি 'আব্দিম্ মুনীব্।
And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped.
অনায্যাল্না- মিনাস্ সামা-য়ি মা-য়াম্ মুবা-রকান্ ফাআম্বাত্না-বিহী জ্বান্না-তিঁও অহাব্বাল্ হাছীদ্।
And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters.
অন্নাখ্লা বা-সিক্ব-তিল্ লাহা-ত্বোয়াল্'উন্নাদ্বীদ্।
A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead).
রিয্ক্বল্ লিল্'ইবা-দি অআহ্ইয়াইনা-বিহী বাল্দাতাম্ মাইতা- কাযা-লিকাল্ খুরূজ্ব ।
Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and Thamud;
কায্যাবাত্ ক্বব্লাহুম্ ক্বওমু নূহিঁও অআছ্হা-র্বু রস্সি অছামূদ্।
And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lut (Lot);
অ'আদুঁও অর্ফি'আউনু অইখ্ওয়া-নু লূত্ব ।
And the Dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'. Everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect.
অআছ্হা-বুল্ আইকাতি অ ক্বওমু তুব্বা' কুল্লুন্ কায্যার্বা রুসুলা ফাহাক্ব ক্বা অ'ঈদ্।
Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, they are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection).
আফা'আয়ীনা বিল্ খল্ক্বিল্ আওয়্যাল্ বাল্হুম্ ফী লাব্সিম্ মিন্ খল্ক্বিন্ জ্বাদীদ্।
And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge).
অ লাক্বদ্ খলাক্ব নাল্ ইন্সা-না অনা'লামু মা-তুওয়াস্ ওয়িসু বিহী নাফ্সুহূ অনাহ্নু আক্ব রাবু ইলাইহি মিন্ হাব্লিল্ অরীদ্।
(Remember) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions).
ইয্ ইয়াতালাক্ব ক্বল্ মুতালাক্ব ক্বিইয়া-নি 'আনিল্ ইয়ামীনি অ'আনিশ্ শিমা-লি ক্বা'ঈদ্।
Not a word does he (or she) utter but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).
মা-ইয়াল্ফিজু মিন্ ক্বওলিন্ ইল্লা-লাদাইহি রাক্বীবুন্ 'আতীদ্।
And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!"
অজ্বা-য়াত্ সাক্রতুল্ মাওতি বিল্হাক্ব যা-লিকা মা-কুন্তা মিন্হু তাহীদ্।
And the Trumpet will be blown - that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).
অনুফিখা ফিছ্ র্ছূ যা-লিকা ইয়াওমুল্ অঈ'দ্।
And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him) and an (angel) to bear witness.
অজ্বা-য়াত্ কুল্লুনাফ্সিম্ মা'আহা-সা-য়িকু অশাহীদ্।
(It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this. Now We have removed from you your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!"
লাক্বদ্ কুন্তা ফী গফ্লাতিম্ মিন্ হা-যা- ফাকাশাফ্না- 'আন্কা গিত্বোয়া-য়াকা ফাবাছোয়ারুকাল্ ইয়াওমা হাদীদ্।
And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!"
অক্ব-লা ক্বরীনুহূ হা-যা-মা-লাদাইয়্যা আ'তীদ্।
(Allah will say to the angels): "Both of you throw into Hell every stubborn (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messengers).
আল্ক্বিয়া-ফী জ্বাহান্নামা কুল্লা কাফ্ফা-রিন্ 'আনীদ্।
"Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter,
মান্না-ই'ল্ লিল্খইরি মু'তাদিম্ মুরীবিন্।
"Who set up another ilah (god) with Allah. Then both of you cast him in the severe torment."
আল্লাযী জ্বা'আলা মা'আল্লা-হি ইলা-হান আ-খর ফাআল্ক্বিয়া-হু ফিল্ 'আযা-বিশ্ শাদীদ্।
His companion (Satan - devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgression, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray."
ক্ব-লা ক্বরীনুহূ রব্বানা-মা য় আত্ব গাইতুহূ অলা-কিন্ কা-না ফী দ্বোয়ালা-লিম্ বা'ঈদ্।
Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already in advance sent you the threat.
ক্ব-লা লা-তাখ্তাছিমূ লাদাইয়্যা অক্বদ্ ক্বদ্দাম্তু ইলাইকুম্ বিল্ অ'ঈদ্।
The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust to the slaves."
মা-ইয়ুবাদ্দালুল্ ক্বওলু লাদাইয়্যা অমা য় আনা বিজোয়াল্লা-মিল্ লিল্'আবীদ্।
On the Day when We will say to Hell: "Are you filled?" It will say: "Are there any more (to come)?"
ইয়াওমা নাক্ব লু লিজ্বাহান্নামা হালিম্ তালাতি অ তাক্ূলু হাল্ মিম্ মাযীদ্।
And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqun (the pious. See V.2:2), not far off.
অউয্লিফাতিল্ জ্বান্নাতু লিল্মুত্তাক্বীনা গইরা বা'ঈদ্ ।
(It will be said): "This is what you were promised - (it is) for those oft-returning (to Allah) in sincere repentance, and those who preserve their covenant with Allah (by obeying Him in all what He has ordered, and worshipping none but Allah Alone, i.e. follow Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism).
হা-যা-মা তূ'আদূনা লিকুল্লি আওয়্যা-বিন্ হাফীজ্।
"Who feared the Most Gracious (Allah) in the Ghaib (Unseen) and brought a heart turned in repentance (to Him and absolutely free from each and every kind of polytheism).
মান্ খাশির্য়া রহ্মা-না বিল্গইবি অজ্বা-য়া বিক্বল্বিম্ মুনীব।
"Enter you therein in peace and security - this is a Day of eternal life!"
নিদ্খুলূহা- বিসালা- ম্ যা-লিকা ইয়াওমুল্ খুলূদ্ ।
There they will have all that they desire - and We have more (for them, i.e. a glance at the All-Mighty, All-Majestic جل جلاله).
লাহুম্ মা-ইয়াশা-য়ূনা ফীহা- ওয়ালাদাইনা- মাযীদ্।
And how many a generation We have destroyed before them who were stronger in power than they. And (when Our Torment came), they ran for a refuge in the land! Could they find any place of refuge (for them to save themselves from destruction)?
অকাম্ আহ্লাক্না- ক্ব্ব্লাহুম্ মিন্ র্ক্বানিন্ হুম্ আশাদ্দু মিন্হুম্ বাতশান্ ফানাক্ব্ক্ববূ ফিল্ বিলা-দ্ হাল্ মিম্ মাহীছ্।
Verily, therein is indeed a reminder for him who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful.
ইন্না ফী যা-লিকা লাযিক্র-লিমান্ কা-না লাহূ ক্বল্বুন্ আও আল্ক্বস্ সাম্'আ অহুওয়া শাহীদ্।
And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six Days and nothing of fatigue touched Us.
অলাক্বদ্ খলাক্ব নাস্ সামা-ওয়া-তি অল্ র্আদ্বোয়া অমা-বাইনাহুমা-ফী সিত্তাতি আইয়্যা-মিঁও অমা-মাস্ সানা-মিল্ লুগূব্।
So bear with patience (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) all that they say, and glorify the Praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting (i.e. the Fajr, Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers) .
ফার্ছ্বি 'আলা-মা-ইয়াক্ব ূলূনা অসাব্বিহ্ বিহাম্দি রব্বিকা ক্বব্লা তুলূ'ইশ্ শাম্সি অক্বব্লাল্ গুরূব্।
And during a part of the night (also) glorify His praises (i.e. Maghrib and 'Isha prayers) and (so likewise) after the prayers [As-Sunnah, Nawafil - optional and additional prayers. And also glorify, praise and magnify Allah - Subhan Allah, Alhamdu lillah, Allahu-Akbar].
অমিনাল্ লাইলি ফাসাব্বিহ্হু অআদ্বা-রাস্ সুজ্ব ূদ্।
And listen on the Day when the caller will call from a near place.
অস্তামি' ইয়াওমা ইয়ুনা-দিল্ মুনা-দি মিম্ মাকা-নিন্ ক্বরীব্।
The Day when they will hear As-Saihah (shout) in truth: that will be the Day of coming out (from the graves, i.e. the Day of Resurrection).
ইয়াওমা ইয়াস্মা'ঊনাছ্ ছোয়াইহাতা বিল্হাক্ব ্ যা-লিকা ইয়াওমুল্ খুরূজ্ব্ ্।
Verily, We it is Who give life and cause death; and to Us is the final return.
ইন্না-নাহ্নু নুহ্য়ী অনুমীতু অইলাইনাল্ মাছীর ।
On the Day when the earth shall be cleft, from off them, (they will come out) hastening forth. That will be a gathering, quite easy for Us.
ইয়াওমা তাশাক্ব ক্বক্ব ল্ র্আদ্বু 'আন্হুম্ সির-'আ- যা-লিকা হাশ্রুন্ 'আলাইনা- ইয়ার্সী।
We know best what they say. And you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are not the one to force them (to Belief). But warn by the Qur'an; him who fears My Threat.
নাহ্নু আ'লামু বিমা- ইয়াকুলূনা অমা য় আন্তা 'আলাইহিম্ বিজ্বব্বা-রিন্ ফাযার্ক্কি বিল্ কুরআ-নি মাইঁ ইয়াখ-ফু অ'ঈদ্।
