In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The mutual rivalry (for piling up of worldly things) diverts you,
Alhakumu alttakathuru
Chapter 102, 8 verses
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The mutual rivalry (for piling up of worldly things) diverts you,
Alhakumu alttakathuru
Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die).
Hatta zurtumu almaqabira
Nay! You shall come to know!
Kalla sawfa taAAlamoona
Again nay! You shall come to know!
Thumma kalla sawfa taAAlamoona
Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have been occupied yourselves in worldly things).
Kalla law taAAlamoona AAilma alyaqeeni
Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)!
Latarawunna aljaheema
And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight!
Thumma latarawunnaha AAayna alyaqeeni
Then on that Day you shall be asked about the delights (you indulged in, in this world)!
Thumma latusalunna yawmaithin AAani alnnaAAeemi
