Chapter 80, 42 verses
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. (The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) frowned and turned away.
Er blickte düster und kehrte sich ab,
AAabasa watawalla
Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs).
weil der Blinde zu ihm kam.
An jaahu alaAAma
And how can you know that he might become pure (from sins)?
Was läßt dich wissen, vielleicht läutert er sich
Wama yudreeka laAAallahu yazzakka
Or he might receive admonition, and the admonition might profit him?
Aw yaththakkaru fatanfaAAahu alththikra
As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient,
Amma mani istaghna
To him you attend;
so widmest du dich ihm,
Faanta lahu tasadda
What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief: you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah).
But as to him who came to you running,
Waamma man jaaka yasAAa
And is afraid (of Allah and His punishment).
und dabei gottesfürchtig ist,
Wahuwa yakhsha
Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another,
von dem läßt du dich ablenken.
Faanta AAanhu talahha
Nay, (do not do like this); indeed it (this Qur'an) is an admonition.
Keineswegs! Gewiß, es ist eine Erinnerung.
Kalla innaha tathkiratun
So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it.
Wer nun will, gedenkt seiner.
Faman shaa thakarahu
(It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz),
(Er steht) auf in Ehren gehaltenen Blättern,
Fee suhufin mukarramatin
Exalted (in dignity), purified,
erhöhten und rein gehaltenen,
MarfooAAatin mutahharatin
In the hands of scribes (angels).
durch die Hände von Entsandten,
Biaydee safaratin
Honourable and obedient.
edlen, frommen.
Kiramin bararatin
Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is!
Tod dem Menschen, wie undankbar er ist!
Qutila alinsanu ma akfarahu
From what thing did He create him?
Woraus hat Er ihn erschaffen?
Min ayyi shayin khalaqahu
From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him and then set him in due proportion.
Min nutfatin khalaqahu faqaddarahu
Then He makes the Path easy for him.
Den Weg hierauf macht Er ihm leicht.
Thumma alssabeela yassarahu
Then He causes him to die and puts him in his grave.
Hierauf läßt Er ihn sterben und bringt ihn dann ins Grab.
Thumma amatahu faaqbarahu
Then when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again).
Hierauf, wenn Er will, läßt Er ihn auferstehen.
Thumma itha shaa ansharahu
Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him.
Keineswegs!
Then let man look at his food:
So schaue der Mensch doch auf seine Nahrung:
Falyanthuri alinsanu ila taAAamihi
We pour forth water in abundance.
Wir gießen ja Güsse von Wasser,
Anna sababna almaa sabban
And We split the earth in clefts.
Thumma shaqaqna alarda shaqqan
And We cause therein the grain to grow,
und lassen dann auf ihr Korn wachsen
Faanbatna feeha habban
And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle),
und Rebstöcke und Grünzeug
WaAAinaban waqadban
And olives and date-palms,
und Ölbäume und Palmen
Wazaytoonan wanakhlan
And gardens dense with many trees,
und Gärten mit dicken Bäumen
Wahadaiqa ghulban
And fruits and herbage
und Früchte und Futter,
Wafakihatan waabban
(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle.
MataAAan lakum walianAAamikum
Then when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the second blowing of the Trumpet on the Day of Resurrection)
Wenn dann der betäubende (Schrei) kommt,
Faitha jaati alssakhkhatu
That Day shall a man flee from his brother,
Yawma yafirru almaro min akheehi
And from his mother and his father,
und seiner Mutter und seinem Vater
Waommihi waabeehi
And from his wife and his children.
und seiner Gefährtin und seinen Söhnen
Wasahibatihi wabaneehi
Everyman that Day will have enough to make him careless of others.
Likulli imriin minhum yawmaithin shanun yughneehi
Some faces that Day will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism),
Wujoohun yawmaithin musfiratun
Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise).
lachen und sich freuen.
Dahikatun mustabshiratun
And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained.
Wawujoohun yawmaithin AAalayha ghabaratun
Darkness will cover them.
und sie werden von Dunkelheit bedeckt sein.
Tarhaquha qataratun
Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers).
Das sind die Ungläubigen und Sittenlosen.
