Chapter 97, 5 verses
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Verily, We have sent it (this Qur'an) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree).
নিশ্চয় আমি কুরআন অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছি মহিমান্বিত রজনীতে ;
নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা এটি অবতারণ করেছি মহিমান্বিত রজনীতে।
And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is?
আর মহিমান্বিত রজনী সম্বন্ধে তুমি কী জান?
আর কী তোমাকে বুঝতে দেবে মহিমান্বিত রজনীটি কি?
The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months).
মহিমান্বিত রজনী সহস্র মাস অপেক্ষা শ্রেষ্ঠ।
মহিমান্বিত রজনী হচ্ছে হাজার মাসের চাইতেও শ্রেষ্ঠ।
Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibril (Gabril)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees,
সেই রাত্রিতে ফিরিশতাগণ ও রূহ্ অবতীর্ণ হয় প্রত্যেক কাজে তাহাদের প্রতিপালকের অনুমতিক্রমে।
ফিরিশ্তাগণ ও রূহ্ তাতে অবতীর্ণ হয় তাদের প্রভুর অনুমতিক্রমে প্রতিটি ব্যাপার সন্বন্ধে - -
(All that night), there is Peace (and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.
শান্তিই শান্তি, সেই রজনী ঊষার আবির্ভাব পর্যন্ত।
শান্তি - - ফজরের উদয় পর্যন্ত তা চলতে থাকবে।
