Chapter 1, 7 verses
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
দয়াময়, পরম দয়ালু র নামে,
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
আল্লাহর নাম নিয়ে (আরম্ভ করছি), (যিনি) রহমান ( - - পরম করুণাময়, যিনি অসীম করুণা ও দয়া বশতঃ বিশ্বজগতের সমস্ত সৃষ্টির সহাবস্থানের প্রয়োজনীয় সব ব্যবস্থা অগ্রিম করে রেখেছেন), (যিনি) রহীম ( - - অফুরন্ত ফলদাতা, যাঁর অপার করুণা ও দয়ার ফলে প্রত্যেকের ক্ষুদ্রতম শুভ - প্রচেষ্টাও বিপুলভাবে সাফল্যমণ্ডিত ও পুরস্কৃত হয়ে থাকে)।
All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
সকল প্রশংসা জগতসমূহের প্রতিপালক রই,
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
সমস্ত প্রশংসা র প্রাপ্য, সমুদয় সৃষ্ট - জগতের রব্ব।
The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
যিনি দয়াময়, পরম দয়ালু,
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
রহমান, রহীম।
The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
কর্মফল দিবসের মালিক।
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
বিচারকালের মালিক।
You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
আমরা শুধু তোমারই ‘ইবাদত করি, শুধু তোমারই সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করি,
It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
“তোমারই আমরা এবাদত করি, এবং তোমারই কাছে আমরা সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করি।”
Guide us to the Straight Way.
আমাদেরকে সরল পথ প্রদর্শন কর,
Guide us to the straight path -
“আমাদের তুমি সহজ - সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করো, - - ”
The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace , not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (i.e. those who knew the Truth, but did not follow it) nor of those who went astray (i.e. those who did not follow the Truth out of ignorance and error). ,
তাহাদের পথ, যাহাদেরকে তুমি অনুগ্রহ দান করিয়াছ, তাহাদের পথ নহে যাহারা ক্রোধ - নিপতিত ও পথভ্রষ্ট।
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
“তাদের পথে যাদের প্রতি তুমি নিয়ামত অর্পণ করেছ, তাদের ব্যতীত যাদের প্রতি গযব এসেছে, এবং তাদেরও নয় যারা পথভ্রষ্ট।”
