আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Alif-Lam-Ra. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. (This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allah and Islamic Monotheism) by their Lord's Leave to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise.
Saheeh International
Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আলিফ লাম রা। এই কিতাব আমরা তোমার প্রতি নাযিল করেছি, যাতে করে তুমি মানব সমাজকে বের করে আনো অন্ধকাররাশি থেকে আলোতে, তাদের প্রভুর অনুমতিক্রমে মহাপরাক্রমশালী সপ্রশংসিত আল্লাহর পথে।

Allah to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth! And woe unto the disbelievers from a severe torment.
Saheeh International
Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And woe to the disbelievers from a severe punishment
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
, মহাকাশ এবং এই পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সবই তাঁর। আর কাফিরদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর আযাবের দুর্ভোগ।
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
Those who prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah (i.e. Islam) and seek crookedness therein - they are far astray.
Saheeh International
The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allah, seeking to make it (seem) deviant. Those are in extreme error.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে বেশি মহববত করে আখিরাতের চাইতে, আর আল্লাহর পথে বাধা সৃষ্টি করে এবং তাতে সন্ধান করে বক্রতার, তারা বিপথে চলে গেছে বহুদূর।
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allah misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Saheeh International
And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা একজন রসূলও পাঠাইনি তার স্বজাতির ভাষায় ছাড়া, যাতে করে সে তাদেরকে স্পষ্ট করে বার্তা পৌঁছাতে পারে। তারপর যাকে চান বিপথগামী করে দেন আর যাকে চান সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করেন। তিনি দুর্জয় ক্ষমতাবান মহাজ্ঞানী।

And indeed We sent Musa (Moses) with Our Ayat (signs, proofs, and evidence) (saying): "Bring out your people from darkness into light, and remind them of the Annals of Allah. Truly, therein are Ayat (evidence, proofs and signs) for every patient, thankful (person)."
Saheeh International
And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], "Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of Allah." Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা আমাদের এক গুচ্ছ নিদর্শনসহ মূসাকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম এই নির্দেশ দিয়ে: ‘তুমি তোমার কওমকে অন্ধকাররাশি থেকে আলোতে বের করে আনো আর তাদেরকে আল্লাহর দিনগুলোর কথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দিতে থাকো। এতে পরম ধৈর্যশীল কৃতজ্ঞ লোকদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন।’

And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his people: "Call to mind Allah's Favour to you, when He delivered you from Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people who were afflicting you with horrible torment, and were slaughtering your sons and letting your women alive; and in it was a tremendous trial from your Lord."
Saheeh International
And [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to His people, "Remember the favor of Allah upon you when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
স্মরণ করো, মূসা তার কওমকে বলেছিল: ‘‘তোমরা তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহের কথা স্মরণ করো যখন তিনি তোমাদের নাজাত দিয়েছিলেন ফেরাউন গোষ্ঠীর কবল থেকে। তারা তোমাদের দিয়েছিল নিকৃষ্ট ধরনের আযাব। তারা যবাই করছিল তোমাদের পুত্র সন্তানদের আর জীবিত রাখছিল তোমাদের নারীদের। এতে তোমাদের প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে ছিলো এক বিরাট পরীক্ষা।

And (remember) when your Lord proclaimed: "If you give thanks (by accepting Faith and worshipping none but Allah), I will give you more (of My Blessings); but if you are thankless (i.e. disbelievers), verily My punishment is indeed severe."
Saheeh International
And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.' "
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
স্মরণ করো, তোমাদের প্রভু তোমাদের জানিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন, তোমরা যদি শোকর গুজারি করো তাহলে আমি তোমাদের আরো বেশি করে দেবো, আর যদি অকৃতজ্ঞ হও, তবে আমার আযাব অবশ্যি কঠোর।’’

And Musa (Moses) said: "If you disbelieve, you and all on earth together, then verily Allah is Rich (Free of all needs), Owner of all Praise."
Saheeh International
And Moses said, "If you should disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely - indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মূসা আরো বলেছিল: ‘তোমরা এবং পৃথিবীর সবাইও যদি আল্লাহর প্রতি অকৃতজ্ঞ হও, তবু সবার থেকে প্রয়োজনমুক্ত স্বয়ম্ভর সপ্রশংসিত।

Has not the news reached you, of those before you, the people of Nuh (Noah), and 'Ad, and Thamud? And those after them? None knows them but Allah. To them came their Messengers with clear proofs, but they put their hands in their mouths (biting them from anger) and said: "Verily, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and we are really in grave doubt as to that to which you invite us (i.e. Islamic Monotheism)."
Saheeh International
Has there not reached you the news of those before you - the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud and those after them? No one knows them but Allah. Their messengers brought them clear proofs, but they returned their hands to their mouths and said, "Indeed, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের আগেকার লোকদের সংবাদ আসেনি, নূহের জাতি, আদ জাতি ও সামুদ জাতির সংবাদ? আর তাদের পরবর্তীদের সংবাদ? তাদের বিষয়ে ছাড়া আর কেউ জানেন না। তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলরা এসেছিল সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন নিয়ে, কিন্তু তারা তাদের হাত তাদের মুখে চেপে ধরেছিল এবং বলেছিল: ‘তোমরা যা নিয়ে প্রেরিত হয়েছো তার প্রতি আমরা কুফুরি করলাম। তোমরা যার প্রতি আমাদের ডাকছো সে বিষয়ে বিভ্রান্তিকর সন্দেহের মধ্যে আমরা রয়েছি।’

Their Messengers said: "What! Can there be a doubt about Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth? He calls you (to Monotheism and to be obedient to Allah) that He may forgive you of your sins and give you respite for a term appointed." They said: "You are no more than human beings like us! You wish to turn us away from what our fathers used to worship. Then bring us a clear authority (i.e. a clear proof of what you say)."
Saheeh International
Their messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের রসূলরা বলেছিল: ‘আল্লাহর সম্পর্কে তোমাদের সন্দেহ? অথচ তিনিই মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবীর স্রষ্টা। তিনি তোমাদের পাপ ক্ষমা করে দেয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে তোমাদের ডাকছেন আর একটা নির্দিষ্ট সময়কাল পর্যন্ত তোমাদের অবকাশ দেয়ার জন্যে।’ তারা বলেছিল: ‘তোমরা তো আমাদের মতোই মানুষ। তোমরা তো চাইছো, আমাদের পূর্ব পুরুষরা যে সবের ইবাদত করতো আমাদেরকে সেগুলো থেকে বাধা দিতে। তোমরা আমাদেরকে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ দেখাও।’

Their Messengers said to them: "We are no more than human beings like you, but Allah bestows His Grace to whom He wills of His slaves. It is not ours to bring you an authority (proof) except by the Permission of Allah. And in Allah (Alone) let the believers put their trust.
Saheeh International
Their messengers said to them, "We are only men like you, but Allah confers favor upon whom He wills of His servants. It has never been for us to bring you evidence except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের রসূলরা তাদের বলেছিল: ‘‘আমরা অবশ্যি তোমাদের মতো মানুষ, কিন্তু তাঁর বান্দাদের যাকে চান, তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেন। আল্লাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া তোমাদের কাছে কোনো প্রমাণ নিয়ে আসা আমাদের কাজ নয়। মুমিনরা আল্লাহর উপরই ভরসা করে।

"And why should we not put our trust in Allah while He indeed has guided us our ways? And we shall certainly bear with patience all the hurt you may cause us, and in Allah (Alone) let those who trust, put their trust."
Saheeh International
And why should we not rely upon Allah while He has guided us to our [good] ways. And we will surely be patient against whatever harm you should cause us. And upon Allah let those who would rely [indeed] rely."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা কেন আল্লাহর উপর তাওয়াক্কুল করবো না, অথচ তিনিই তো আমাদেরকে সঠিক পথের সন্ধান দিয়েছেন? তোমরা আমাদের যতো কষ্টই দাও না কেন, আমরা অবশ্যি অটল - সহনশীল থাকবো। যারা নির্ভর করে তারা আল্লাহর উপর নির্ভর করুক।’’

And those who disbelieved, said to their Messengers: "Surely, we shall drive you out of our land, or you shall return to our religion." So their Lord revealed to them: "Truly, We shall destroy the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers and wrong-doers).
Saheeh International
And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion." So their Lord inspired to them, "We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
কাফিররা তাদের রসূলদের বলেছিল: ‘আমরা অবশ্যি আমাদের দেশ থেকে তোমাদের বের করে দেবো, অথবা তোমাদেরকে আমাদের ধর্মেই ফিরে আসতে হবে।’ তখন তাদের (রসূলদের) প্রভু তাদেরকে অহির মাধ্যমে জানিয়ে দেন: ‘‘আমরা অবশ্যি যালিমদের হালাক করে দেবো।

"And indeed, We shall make you dwell in the land after them. This is for him who fears standing before Me (on the Day of Resurrection or fears My punishment) and also fears My threat."
Saheeh International
And We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them. That is for he who fears My position and fears My threat."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের (ধ্বংসের) পরে আমরা তোমাদেরকেই দেশে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবো। এটা তাদের জন্যে যারা আমার সামনে উপস্থিত হবার ভয় পোষণ করে এবং ভয় করে আমার ধমককে।’’

And they (the Messengers) sought victory and help [from their Lord (Allah)]; and every obstinate, arrogant dictator (who refuses to believe in the Oneness of Allah) was brought to a complete loss and destruction.
Saheeh International
And they requested victory from Allah, and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা বিজয় কামনা করেছিল। কিন্তু ব্যর্থ হয়েছিল প্রত্যেক উদ্ধত স্বৈরাচারী।
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
In front of him (every obstinate, arrogant dictator) is Hell, and he will be made to drink boiling, festering water.
Saheeh International
Before him is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
পরবর্তীতে তার জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নাম এবং তাকে পান করানো হবে গলিত পূঁজের পানি।
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
He will sip it unwillingly, and he will find a great difficulty to swallow it down his throat ; and death will come to him from every side, yet he will not die and in front of him, will be a great torment.
Saheeh International
He will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সে বহু কষ্টে এক ঢোক এক ঢোক করে গিলবে এবং গেলা তার জন্যে মোটেই সহজ হবেনা। চতুর্দিক থেকে মৃত্যু তাকে আচ্ছন্ন করবে, কিন্তু তার মউত হবেনা। এরপর তার উপর চেপে বসবে এক কঠিন আযাব।

The parable of those who disbelieved in their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a stormy day; they shall not be able to get aught of what they have earned. That is the straying, far away (from the Right Path).
Saheeh International
The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা তাদের প্রভুর প্রতি কুফুরি করে তাদের উপমা হলো: তাদের আমলসমূহ হলো ভস্মের মতো, ঝড়ের দিনে বাতাস সেগুলো প্রচন্ড বেগে উড়িয়ে নিয়ে যায়। তাদের উপার্জনের কিছুই তারা কাজে লাগাতে সক্ষম হয়না। এটাই হলো ঘোরতর বিপথগামিতা।

Do you not see that Allah has created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He wills, He can remove you and bring (in your place) a new creation!
Saheeh International
Have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can do away with you and produce a new creation.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা কি দেখছো না যে, বাস্তবতার সাথে মহাকাশ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টি করেছেন? তিনি চাইলে তোমাদের বিলুপ্ত করে নতুন সৃষ্টিকে অস্তিত্বে আনতে পারেন।

And for Allah that is not hard or difficult.
Saheeh International
And that is not difficult for Allah.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এ কাজ আল্লাহর জন্যে মোটেও কষ্টকর নয়।
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
And they all shall appear before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection); then the weak will say to those who were arrogant (chiefs): "Verily, we were following you; can you avail us anything against Allah's Torment?" They will say: "Had Allah guided us, we would have guided you. It makes no difference to us (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience; there is no place of refuge for us."
Saheeh International
And they will come out [for judgement] before Allah all together, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant, "Indeed, we were your followers, so can you avail us anything against the punishment of Allah?" They will say, "If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you. It is all the same for us whether we show intolerance or are patient: there is for us no place of escape."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সবাই যখন উপস্থিত হবে আল্লাহর কাছে। তখন দাম্ভিক কর্তৃত্বশালীদের উদ্দেশ্যে দুর্বলরা বলবে: ‘আমরা তো তোমাদের অনুসারী ছিলাম, এখন তোমরা কি আল্লাহর আযাব থেকে আমাদের কিছুমাত্র রক্ষা করতে পারবে?’ তারা বলবে: ‘ যদি আমাদেরকে সঠিক পথে চালাতেন, তাহলে আমরাও তোমাদেরকে সঠিক পথে পরিচালিত করতাম। এখন আমরা সহ্য করি কিংবা ধৈর্য হারাই একই কথা, এখান থেকে আমাদের নিষ্কৃতি নেই।’

And Shaitan (Satan) will say when the matter has been decided: "Verily, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I called you, and you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with Allah (by obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)."
Saheeh International
And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যখন বিচার কাজ শেষ হয়ে যাবে তখন শয়তান বলবে: ‘ তোমাদের ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন সত্য ওয়াদা। আর আমিও তোমাদের ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলাম, কিন্তু আমি তোমাদেরকে দেয়া ওয়াদা ভঙ্গ করেছি। তোমাদের উপর আমার কোনো কর্তৃত্ব ছিলনা। আমি তো কেবল তোমাদের আহবান করেছি। তোমরা আমার আহবানে সাড়া দিয়েছিলে। সুতরাং আজ আমাকে তিরস্কার করোনা, নিজেকে নিজে তিরস্কার করো। আমি তোমাদের রক্ষা করতে সক্ষম নই, তোমরাও আমাকে রক্ষা করতে সক্ষম নও। তোমরা যে আমাকে ইতোপূর্বে (পৃথিবীতে) আল্লাহর শরিক বানিয়েছিলে আমি সেটা অস্বীকার করছি। যালিমদের জন্যে তো রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।’

And those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messengers and whatever they brought) and did righteous deeds, will be made to enter Gardens under which rivers flow, - to dwell therein for ever (i.e. in Paradise), with the Permission of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: Salam (peace!).
Saheeh International
And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, "Peace!"
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং আমলে সালেহ্ করেছে তাদের দাখিল করা হবে জান্নাতে (উদ্যানসমূহে), যেগুলোর নিচে দিয়ে বহমান থাকবে নদ - নদী - নহর। সেখানে থাকবে তারা চিরকাল তাদের প্রভুর অনুমতিক্রমে। সেখানে তাদের অভিবাদন হবে ‘সালাম’।

See you not how Allah sets forth a parable? A goodly word as a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the sky (i.e. very high).
Saheeh International
Have you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কি দেখছো না, কিভাবে উপমা দিচ্ছেন: একটি উত্তম কথা যেনো একটি উত্তম গাছ, যার মূল মাটির গভীরে দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রোথিত আর যার শাখা - প্রশাখা উপরে বিস্তীর্ণ।

Giving its fruit at all times, by the Leave of its Lord, and Allah sets forth parables for mankind in order that they may remember.
Saheeh International
It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেটি তার প্রভুর অনুমতিক্রমে প্রতিনিয়ত ফল দিয়ে থাকে। মানুষের জন্যে উপমা দেন যেনো তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।

And the parable of an evil word is that of an evil tree uprooted from the surface of earth, having no stability.
Saheeh International
And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর একটি মন্দ কথার উপমা হলো একটি মন্দ গাছ, যার মূল বিচ্ছিন্ন মাটির উপরিভাগে, তার কোনো স্থায়িত্ব নেই।

Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world (i.e. they will keep on worshipping Allah Alone and none else), and in the Hereafter. And Allah will cause to go astray those who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers), and Allah does what He wills.
Saheeh International
Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মুমিনদের মজবুত অটল রাখেন মজবুত অটল কথার ভিত্তিতে দুনিয়ার জীবনেও এবং আখিরাতেও, আর বিভ্রান্ত করে দেন যালিমদের এবং যা ইচ্ছা তাই করেন।

Have you not seen those who have changed the Blessings of Allah into disbelief (by denying Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم and his Message of Islam), and caused their people to dwell in the house of destruction?
Saheeh International
Have you not considered those who exchanged the favor of Allah for disbelief and settled their people [in] the home of ruin?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কি তাদের দেখছো না, যারা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ (ইসলাম) গ্রহণ করার বদলে কুফুরিকে আঁকড়ে ধরেছে এবং তারা তাদের কওমকে নামিয়ে এনেছে ধ্বংসের দুয়ারে?

Hell, in which they will burn, - and what an evil place to settle in!
Saheeh International
[It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the settlement.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
জাহান্নামে, আর সেখানেই তারা প্রবেশ করবে। সেটা কতো যে নিকৃষ্ট আবাস!
Hilali & Muhsin Khan
And they set up rivals to Allah, to mislead (men) from His Path! Say: "Enjoy (your brief life)! But certainly, your destination is the (Hell) Fire!"
Saheeh International
And they have attributed to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy yourselves, for indeed, your destination is the Fire."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা আল্লাহর সমকক্ষ বানায় মানুষকে তাঁর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত করার উদ্দেশ্যে। হে নবী! তাদের বলো: ভোগ করে নাও, আর জেনে রাখো, তোমাদের ফিরে যাবার জায়গা হলো জাহান্নাম।

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) to 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have believed, that they should perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat ), and spend in charity out of the sustenance We have given them, secretly and openly, before the coming of a Day on which there will be neither mutual bargaining nor befriending.
Saheeh International
[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
হে নবী! আমার দাসদের বলো: তারা যেনো কায়েম করে এবং আমরা তাদের যে জীবিকা দিয়েছি তা থেকে যেনো ব্যয় করে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে সেই দিনটি আসার আগেই, যেদিন কোনো বেচাকেনাও থাকবেনা আর কোনো বন্ধুতাও থাকবেনা।

Allah is He Who has created the heavens and the earth and sends down water (rain) from the sky, and thereby brought forth fruits as provision for you; and He has made the ships to be of service to you, that they may sail through the sea by His Command; and He has made rivers (also) to be of service to you.
Saheeh International
It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and sent down rain from the sky and produced thereby some fruits as provision for you and subjected for you the ships to sail through the sea by His command and subjected for you the rivers.

, যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন মহাকাশ এবং এই পৃথিবী আর নাযিল করেছেন আসমান থেকে পানি, তারপর তা থেকে উৎপন্ন করেছেন ফল ফসল তোমাদের জন্যে জীবিকা হিসেবে। আর নৌযানকে তোমাদের নিয়ন্ত্রণাধীন করে দিয়েছেন, যাতে করে তাঁর নির্দেশক্রমে তা চলাচল করে সমুদ্রে এবং তিনি তোমাদেরই কল্যাণে নিয়োজিত করে দিয়েছেন নদ - নদীকে।

And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you.
Saheeh International
And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day.

তিনি তোমাদেরই কল্যাণে নিয়োজিত করে দিয়েছেন সূর্য আর চাঁদকে। তারা অবিরাম একই নিয়ম মেনে চলে। তিনি তোমাদের কল্যাণে আরো নিয়োজিত করেছেন রাত আর দিনকে।

And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Verily, man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, a (an extreme ingrate who denies Allah's Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allah, and by disobeying Allah and His Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم).
Saheeh International
And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমরা তাঁর কাছে যা চেয়েছো (অর্থাৎ যা কিছু তোমাদের প্রয়োজন) তার প্রত্যেকটিই তিনি তোমাদের দিয়েছেন। তোমরা যদি তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ গণনা করো, তাহলে তার সংখ্যা নির্ণয় করতে পারবে না। নিশ্চয়ই মানুষ বড় যালিম, অকৃতজ্ঞ।

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.
Saheeh International
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this city [Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.

স্মরণ করো, ইবরাহিম বলেছিল: ‘‘আমার প্রভু! তুমি এই (মক্কা) নগরীকে নিরাপদ করে দাও এবং আমাকে ও আমার সন্তানদেরকে ভাষ্কর্য - প্রতিমা পূজা থেকে দূরে রেখো।

"O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among mankind. But whoso follows me, he verily is of me. And whoso disobeys me, still You are indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Saheeh International
My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমার প্রভু! এসব (প্রতিমা) বিপথগামী করেছে বহু মানুষকে। সুতরাং যে আমার অনুসরণ করবে, সেই হবে আমার লোক, আর যে আমার অবাধ্য হবে, সে ক্ষেত্রে তুমি তো পরম ক্ষমাশীল দয়াময়।

"O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in an uncultivable valley by Your Sacred House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) in order, O our Lord, that they may perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat). So fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and (O Allah) provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks.
Saheeh International
Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমাদের প্রভু! আমি তো আমার বংশধরদের একটি অংশের বসবাসের ব্যবস্থা করেছি এই অনুর্বর উপত্যকায় তোমার সম্মানিত ঘরের কাছে। হে আমার প্রভু! এ জন্যে করেছি, যেনো তারা কায়েম করে। সুতরাং তুমি মানুষের হৃদয় তাদের প্রতি অনুরাগী করে দিও, আর তাদের জীবিকা দিও ফলফলারি দিয়ে, যাতে করে তারা তোমার শোকর আদায় করে।

"O our Lord! Certainly, You know what we conceal and what we reveal. Nothing on the earth or in the heaven is hidden from Allah.
Saheeh International
Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven.

আমাদের প্রভু! নিশ্চয়ই তুমি জানো আমরা যা গোপন করি এবং আমরা যা প্রকাশ করি। আর আসমান ও জমিনের কিছুই গোপন নেই আল্লাহর কাছে।

"All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has given me in old age Isma'il (Ishmael) and Ishaq (Isaac). Verily! My Lord is indeed the All-Hearer of invocations.
Saheeh International
Praise to Allah, who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication.

সমস্ত শোকরিয়া আল্লাহর, যিনি বৃদ্ধ বয়সে আমাকে ইসমাঈল এবং ইসহাককে দান করেছেন। নিশ্চয়ই আমার প্রভু দোয়া শুনে থাকেন।

"O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat ), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation.
Saheeh International
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.

আমার প্রভু! আমাকে কায়েমকারী বানাও এবং আমার বংশধরদেরকেও। আমাদের প্রভু! আমার দোয়া কবুল করো।

"Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established."
Saheeh International
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established."

আমাদের প্রভু! আমাকে ক্ষমা করে দাও আর আমার পিতা - মাতাকে এবং মুমিনদেরকে সেইদিন, যেদিন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে হিসাব।

Consider not that Allah is unaware of that which the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers) do, but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror.
Saheeh International
And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].

যালিমদের কর্মকান্ডের ব্যাপারে আল্লাহকে গাফিল মনে করোনা। তিনি তাদের অবকাশ দিচ্ছেন ঐ দিন পর্যন্ত যেদিন তাদের দৃষ্টি স্থির হয়ে যাবে।

(They will be) hastening forward with necks outstretched, their heads raised up (towards the sky), their gaze returning not towards them and their hearts empty (from thinking because of extreme fear).
Saheeh International
Racing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts are void.

সেদিন ভীত বিহবল হয়ে আকাশের দিকে তাকিয়ে তারা ছুটাছুটি করবে। নিজেদের দিকে ফিরবে না তাদের দৃষ্টি। তাদের অন্তর থাকবে উদাসীন।

And warn (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) mankind of the Day when the torment will come unto them; then the wrong-doers will say: "Our Lord! Respite us for a little while, we will answer Your Call and follow the Messengers!" (It will be said): "Had you not sworn aforetime that you would not leave (the world for the Hereafter).
Saheeh International
And, [O Muhammad], warn the people of a Day when the punishment will come to them and those who did wrong will say, "Our Lord, delay us for a short term; we will answer Your call and follow the messengers." [But it will be said], "Had you not sworn, before, that for you there would be no cessation?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যেদিন আযাব তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করে ফেলবে সেদিনটি সম্পর্কে মানুষকে সতর্ক করো। সেদিন যালিমরা বলবে: ‘আমাদের প্রভু! অল্পকালের জন্যে আমাদের অবকাশ দাও, আমরা তোমার আহবানে সাড়া দেবো এবং তোমার রসূলদের ইত্তেবা (অনুসরণ) করবো।’ (তাদের বলা হবে:) ইতোপূর্বে (দুনিয়ার জীবনে) তোমরা বলতে না যে, তোমাদের পতন হবেনা?

"And you dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged themselves, and it was clear to you how We had dealt with them. And We put forth (many) parables for you."
Saheeh International
And you lived among the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it had become clear to you how We dealt with them. And We presented for you [many] examples."
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অথচ তোমরা তো বাস করতে সেইসব আবাস ভূমিতেই, যারা (তোমাদের আগে) নিজেদের প্রতি যুলুম করেছিল, আর এটাও তোমাদের কাছে পরিষ্কার ছিলো যে, আমরা তাদের সাথে কী আচরণ করেছিলাম? আমরা তো তোমাদের কাছে তাদের দৃষ্টান্ত পেশ করেছিলাম।

Indeed, they planned their plot, and their plot was with Allah, though their plot was not such as to remove the mountains (real mountains or the Islamic law) from their places (as it is of no importance)[Tafsir Ibn Kathir] .
Saheeh International
And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তারা চক্রান্ত করেছিল তাদের প্রাণান্তকর চক্রান্ত। তাদের চক্রান্ত রদ করে দিয়েছেন। যদিও তারা এমন চক্রান্ত করেছিল যাতে পাহাড় পর্যন্ত টলে যেতো।

So think not that Allah will fail to keep His Promise to His Messengers. Certainly, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Able of Retribution.
Saheeh International
So never think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তুমি কখনো মনে করোনা যে, তাঁর রসূলদের দেয়া ওয়াদা খেলাফ করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই মহাপরাক্রমশালী, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী।

On the Day when the earth will be changed to another earth and so will be the heavens, and they (all creatures) will appear before Allah, the One, the Irresistible.
Saheeh International
[It will be] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens [as well], and all creatures will come out before Allah, the One, the Prevailing.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
যেদিন এই পৃথিবী পরিবর্তিত হয়ে যাবে অন্য একটি পৃথিবীতে এবং মহাকাশও, তখন সমস্ত মানুষ উপস্থিত হয়ে যাবে আল্লাহর সামনে, যিনি এক এবং মহাপরাক্রমশালী।

And you will see the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism, polytheists) that Day Muqarranun (bound together) in fetters.
Saheeh International
And you will see the criminals that Day bound together in shackles,

সেদিন তুমি অপরাধীদের দেখবে শৃংখলিত।

Their garments will be of pitch, and fire will cover their faces.
Saheeh International
Their garments of liquid pitch and their faces covered by the Fire.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের জামা হবে আলকাতরার, আর তাদের চেহারা ঢেকে নেবে আগুন।

That Allah may requite each person according to what he has earned. Truly, Allah is Swift at reckoning.
Saheeh International
So that Allah will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.

এটা এ জন্যে হবে, যাতে করে প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তিকে তার কর্মফল দিয়ে দেন। নিশ্চয়ই দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী।

This (Qur'an) is a Message for mankind (and a clear proof against them), in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only One Ilah (God - Allah) - (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) - and that men of understanding may take heed.
Saheeh International
This [Qur'an] is notification for the people that they may be warned thereby and that they may know that He is but one God and that those of understanding will be reminded.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এটি (এ কুরআন) মানুষের জন্যে একটি বার্তা, যাতে করে এর মাধ্যমে মানুষকে সতর্ক করা যায় এবং মানুষ জানতে পারে যে, নিশ্চয়ই তিনি একমাত্র ইলাহ্, আর যেনো বুঝ বুদ্ধি সম্পন্ন লোকেরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।
