١ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
Pickthall
1 In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. By the Star when it setteth,

1 Bei dem Stern, wenn er sinkt!

١ وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ

٢ مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰ

2 Your comrade erreth not, nor is deceived;

2 Nicht in die Irre geht euer Gefährte, und auch nicht einem Irrtum ist er erlegen,

21 Ist denn für euch das, was männlich ist, und für Ihn das, was weiblich ist (bestimmt)?

22 That indeed were an unfair division!

22 Das wäre dann eine ungerechte Verteilung.

٢٣ إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا أَسْمَاءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنفُسُ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ الْهُدَىٰ
Pickthall
23 They are but names which ye have named, ye and your fathers, for which Allah hath revealed no warrant. They follow but a guess and that which (they) themselves desire. And now the guidance from their Lord hath come unto them.

23 Das sind nur Namen, die ihr genannt habt, ihr und eure Väter, für die Allah (aber) keine Ermächtigung herabgesandt hat. Sie folgen nur Vermutungen und dem, wozu sie selbst neigen, wo doch bereits von ihrem Herrn die Rechtleitung zu ihnen gekommen ist.

24 Or shall man have what he coveteth ?

24 Oder soll (etwa) der Mensch haben, was (immer) er (sich) wünscht?

٢٥ فَلِلَّهِ الْآخِرَةُ وَالْأُولَىٰ

25 But unto Allah belongeth the after (life), and the former.

25 So gehört Allah das Jenseits und das Diesseits.

٢٦ ۞ وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ لَا تُغْنِي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ أَن يَأْذَنَ اللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَرْضَىٰ
Pickthall
26 And how many angels are in the heavens whose intercession availeth naught save after Allah giveth leave to whom He chooseth and accepteth.

26 Und wie viele Engel gibt es in den Himmeln, deren Fürsprache nichts nützt, außer nachdem Allah es erlaubt hat, wem Er will und wer Sein Wohlgefallen findet.

٢٦ وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغْنِى شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَن يَأْذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرْضَىٰٓ

٢٧ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ الْأُنثَىٰ
Pickthall
27 Lo! it is those who disbelieve in the Hereafter who name the angels with the names of females.
Deutsch
27 Diejenigen, die an das Jenseits nicht glauben, benennen die Engel fürwahr mit Namen, wie weibliche Wesen benannt werden.

٢٧ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ ٱلْأُنثَىٰ

٢٨ وَمَا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ ۖ وَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا
Pickthall
28 And they have no knowledge thereof. They follow but a guess, and lo! a guess can never take the place of the truth.

28 Sie haben jedoch kein Wissen hierüber. Sie folgen nur Vermutungen; die Vermutungen nützen aber nichts gegenüber der Wahrheit.

٢٨ وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ شَيْـًٔا

٢٩ فَأَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا
Pickthall
29 Then withdraw (O Muhammad) from him who fleeth from Our remembrance and desireth but the life of the world.

29 Laß nun ab von jemandem, der sich von Unserer Ermahnung abkehrt und nur das diesseitige Leben will.

٢٩ فَأَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا

٣٠ ذَٰلِكَ مَبْلَغُهُم مِّنَ الْعِلْمِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ
Pickthall
30 Such is their sum of knowledge. Lo! thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth, and He is Best Aware of him whom goeth right.

30 Das ist ihr erreichter Wissensstand. Gewiß, dein Herr kennt sehr wohl wer von Seinem Weg abirrt, und Er kennt sehr wohl die Rechtgeleiteten.

٣٠ ذَٰلِكَ مَبْلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ

٣١ وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاءُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا بِالْحُسْنَى
Pickthall
31 And unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, that He may reward those who do evil with that which they have done, and reward those who do good with goodness.
Deutsch
31 Allah gehört (alles), was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist, auf daß Er denjenigen, die Böses tun, das vergelte, was sie tun, und daß Er denjenigen, die Gutes tun, mit dem (Allerbesten vergelte.

٣١ وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔوا۟ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ بِٱلْحُسْنَى

٣٢ الَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ إِلَّا اللَّمَمَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَاسِعُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ ۚ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِذْ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ وَإِذْ أَنتُمْ أَجِنَّةٌ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ ۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوا أَنفُسَكُمْ ۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اتَّقَىٰ
Pickthall
32 Those who avoid enormities of sin and abominations, save the unwilled offences - (for them) lo! thy Lord is of vast mercy. He is Best Aware of you (from the time) when He created you from the earth, and when ye were hidden in the bellies of your mothers. Therefor ascribe not purity unto yourselves. He is Best Aware of him who wardeth off (evil).

32 Diejenigen, die schwerwiegende Sünden und Abscheulichkeiten meiden, außer leichten Verfehlungen... Gewiß, dein Herr ist Allumfassend in (Seiner) Vergebung. Er weiß sehr wohl über euch Bescheid, als Er euch aus der Erde hervorgebracht hat und als ihr Keimlinge in den Leibern eurer Mütter gewesen seid. So erklärt nicht euch selbst für lauter. Er weiß sehr wohl, wer gottesfürchtig ist.

٣٢ ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِذْ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِذْ أَنتُمْ أَجِنَّةٌ فِى بُطُونِ أُمَّه

٣٣ أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ
Pickthall
33 Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away,

33 Was meinst du wohl zu demjenigen, der sich abkehrt

٣٤ وَأَعْطَىٰ قَلِيلًا وَأَكْدَىٰ

34 And gave a little, then was grudging ?

34 und (nur) wenig gibt und dann (ganz) aussetzt?

35 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth ?

35 Besitzt er (etwa) Wissen über das Verborgene, daß er sehen könnte?

36 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses

36 Oder wurde ihm nicht kundgetan, was auf den Blättern Musas steht

٣٧ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ الَّذِي وَفَّىٰ

37 And Abraham who paid his debt:

37 und Ibrahims, der (seine Pflichten) erfüllte?

38 That no laden one shall bear another's load,

38 (Nämlich,) daß keine lasttragende (Seele) die Last einer anderen auf sich nehmen wird

39 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort,

39 und daß es für den Menschen nichts anderes geben wird als das, worum er sich (selbst) bemüht,

40 And that his effort will be seen.

40 daß sein Bemühen gesehen werden wird,

42 And that thy Lord, He is the goal;

42 und daß zu deinem Herrn das Endziel sein wird

43 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep,

43 und daß Er es ist, Der lachen und weinen läßt,

46 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth;

48 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth;

49 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius;
