بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَصْرِ
Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. By the declining day,

সময়ের শপথ।

إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ

Lo! man is a state of loss,

নিশ্চয় সকল মানুষ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ততায় নিপতিত।

অবশ্যি মানুষ রয়েছে নিশ্চিত ক্ষতির মধ্যে।

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
Pickthall
Save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তবে তারা ছাড়া যারা ঈমান এনেছে, সৎকাজ করেছে, পরস্পরকে সত্যের উপদেশ দিয়েছে এবং পরস্পরকে ধৈর্যের উপদেশ দিয়েছে।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তবে তারা নয়, যারা ঈমান আনে, আমলে সালেহ্ করে, একে অপরকে সত্যের প্রতি অসিয়ত করে (উপদেশ দেয়) এবং (সত্যের উপর) ধৈর্যের সাথে অটল থাকার অসিয়ত করে।
