Chapter 31, 34 verses
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الم
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Alif. Lam. Mim.
আলিফ- লাম -মীম।
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْحَكِيمِ
These are revelations of the wise Scripture,
এগুলো প্রজ্ঞাপূর্ণ কিতাবের আয়াত,
هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّلْمُحْسِنِينَ
A guidance and a mercy for the good,
সৎকর্মশীলদের জন্য হিদায়াত ও রহমতস্বরূপ,
الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
Those who establish worship and pay the poor - due and have sure faith in the Hereafter.
যারা কায়েম করে এবং যাকাত দেয়, আর তারাই আখিরাতে দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস পোষণ করে;
أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
Such have guidance from their Lord. Such are the .
তারাই তাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে হিদায়াতের ওপর এবং তারাই ।
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ
And of mankind is he who payeth for mere pastime of discourse, that he may mislead from Allah's way without knowledge, and maketh it the butt of mockery. For such there is a shameful doom.
আর মানুষের মধ্য থেকে কেউ কেউ না জেনে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে মানুষকে বিভ্রান্ত করার জন্য বেহুদা কথা খরিদ করে, আর তারা ঐগুলোকে হাসি-ঠাট্টা হিসেবে গ্রহণ করে; তাদের জন্য রয়েছে লাঞ্ছনাকর আযাব।
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
And when Our revelations are recited unto him he turneth away in pride as if he heard them not, as if there were a deafness in his ears. So give him tidings of a painful doom.
আর তার কাছে যখন আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করা হয় তখন সে দম্ভভরে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, যেন সে শুনতে পায়নি, তার দু’কানে যেন বধিরতা; সুতরাং তাকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাবের সুসংবাদ দাও।
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ النَّعِيمِ
Lo! those who believe and do good works, for them are the gardens of delight,
নিশ্চয় যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে নিআমতপূর্ণ জান্নাত;
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Wherein they will abide. It is a promise of Allah in truth. He is the Mighty, the Wise.
সেখানে তারা স্থায়ী হবে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা যথার্থ। আর তিনি মহাপরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ وَأَلْقَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ ۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ
He hath created the heavens without supports that ye can see, and hath cast into the earth firm hills, so that it quake not with you; and He hath dispersed therein all kinds of beasts. And We send down water from the sky and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein.
তিনি খুঁটি ছাড়া আসমানসমূহ সৃষ্টি করেছেন, যা তোমরা দেখছ, আর যমীনে স্থাপন করেছেন সুদৃঢ় পাহাড়, যাতে তা তোমাদেরকে নিয়ে হেলে না পড়ে, আর তাতে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন প্রত্যেক প্রকারের প্রাণী; আর আসমান থেকে আমি পানি পাঠাই। অতঃপর তাতে আমি জোড়ায় জোড়ায় কল্যাণকর উদ্ভিদ জন্মাই
هَٰذَا خَلْقُ اللَّهِ فَأَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقَ الَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِ ۚ بَلِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
This is the Creation of Allah. Now show me that which those (ye worship) beside Him have created. Nay, but the wrong - doers are in error manifest!
এ আল্লাহর সৃষ্টি; অতএব আমাকে দেখাও, তিনি ছাড়া আর যারা আছে তারা কী সৃষ্টি করেছে! বরং যালিমরা সুস্পষ্ট গোমরাহীতে রয়েছে।
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا لُقْمَانَ الْحِكْمَةَ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِلَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَشْكُرْ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
And verily We gave Luqman wisdom, saying: Give thanks unto Allah; and whosoever giveth thanks, he giveth thanks for (the good of) his soul. And whosoever refuseth - Lo! Allah is Absolute, Owner of Praise.
আমি অবশ্যই লুকমানকে জ্ঞান দান করেছিলাম এবং বলেছিলামঃ আল্লাহর প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর। যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে সেতো তা করে নিজের জন্য এবং কেহ অকৃতজ্ঞ হলে আল্লাহতো অভাবমুক্ত, প্রশংসা।
وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِهِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُ يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ
And (remember) when Luqman said unto his son, when he was exhorting him: O my dear son! Ascribe no partners unto Allah. Lo! to ascribe partners (unto Him) is a tremendous wrong -
আর স্মরণ কর, যখন লুকমান তার পুত্রকে উপদেশ দিতে গিয়ে বলেছিল, ‘প্রিয় বৎস, আল্লাহর সাথে শিরক করো না; নিশ্চয় শিরক হল বড় যুলম'।
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ
And We have enjoined upon man concerning his partners - His mother beareth him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years - Give thanks unto Me and unto thy parents. Unto Me is the journeying.
আর আমি মানুষকে তার মাতাপিতার ব্যাপারে (সদাচরণের) নির্দেশ দিয়েছি। তার মা কষ্টের পর কষ্ট ভোগ করে তাকে গর্ভে ধারণ করে। আর তার দুধ ছাড়ানো হয় দু’বছরে; সুতরাং আমার ও তোমার পিতা-মাতার শুকরিয়া আদায় কর। প্রত্যাবর্তন তো আমার কাছেই।
وَإِن جَاهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰ أَن تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۖ وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا ۖ وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
But if they strive with thee to make thee ascribe unto Me as partner that of which thou hast no knowledge, then obey them not. Consort with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who repenteth unto Me. Then unto Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what ye used to do -
আর যদি তারা তোমাকে আমার সাথে শিরক করতে জোর চেষ্টা করে, যে বিষয়ে তোমার কোন জ্ঞান নেই, তখন তাদের আনুগত্য করবে না এবং দুনিয়ায় তাদের সাথে বসবাস করবে সদ্ভাবে। আর অনুসরণ কর তার পথ, যে আমার অভিমুখী হয়। তারপর আমার কাছেই তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। তখন আমি তোমাদেরকে জান
يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ فَتَكُن فِي صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَوْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ
O my dear son! Lo! though it be but the weight of a grain of mustard - seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens, or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Lo! Allah is Subtile, Aware.
‘হে আমার প্রিয় বৎস, নিশ্চয় তা (পাপ-পুণ্য) যদি সরিষা দানার পরিমাণ হয়, অতঃপর তা থাকে পাথরের মধ্যে কিংবা আসমানসমূহে বা যমীনের মধ্যে, তাও নিয়ে আসবেন; নিশ্চয় সূক্ষ্মদর্শী, সর্বজ্ঞ’।
يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا أَصَابَكَ ۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ
O my dear son! Establish worship and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity, and persevere whatever may befall thee. Lo! that is of the steadfast heart of things.
‘হে আমার প্রিয় বৎস, কায়েম কর, সৎকাজের আদেশ দাও, অসৎকাজে নিষেধ কর এবং তোমার উপর যে বিপদ আসে তাতে ধৈর্য ধর। নিশ্চয় এগুলো অন্যতম দৃঢ় সংকল্পের কাজ’।
وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ
Turn not thy cheek in scorn toward folk, nor walk with pertness in the land. Lo! Allah loveth not each braggart boaster.
‘আর তুমি মানুষের দিক থেকে তোমার মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়ো না। আর যমীনে দম্ভভরে চলাফেরা করো না; নিশ্চয় কোন দাম্ভিক, অহঙ্কারীকে পছন্দ করেন না’।
وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ ۚ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ
Be modest in thy bearing and subdue thy voice. Lo! the harshest of all voices is the voice of the ass.
‘আর তোমার চলার ক্ষেত্রে মধ্যপন্থা অবলম্বন কর, তোমার আওয়াজ নীচু কর; নিশ্চয় সবচাইতে নিকৃষ্ট আওয়াজ হল গাধার আওয়াজ’।
أَلَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَأَسْبَغَ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعَمَهُ ظَاهِرَةً وَبَاطِنَةً ۗ وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَابٍ مُّنِيرٍ
See ye not how Allah hath made serviceable unto you whatsoever is in the skies and whatsoever is in the earth and hath loaded you with His favours both without and within ? Yet of mankind is he who disputeth concerning Allah, without knowledge or guidance or a scripture giving light.
তোমরা কি দেখ না, নিশ্চয় তোমাদের জন্য নিয়োজিত করেছেন আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে যা কিছু আছে। আর তোমাদের প্রতি তাঁর প্রকাশ্য ও অপ্রকাশ্য নিআমত ব্যাপক করে দিয়েছেন; মানুষের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ সম্পর্কে তর্ক করে জ্ঞান, হিদায়াত ও আলো দানকারী কিতাব ছাড়া।
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا ۚ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ
And if it be said unto them: Follow that which Allah hath revealed, they say: Nay, but we follow that wherein we found our fathers. What! Even though the devil were inviting them unto the doom of flame ?
আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, ‘ যা নাযিল করেছেন তোমরা তার অনুসরণ কর’ তখন তারা বলে, ‘বরং আমরা তার অনুসরণ করব যার ওপর আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি।’ শয়তান তাদেরকে আযাবের দিকে আহবান করলেও কি (তারা পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে অনুসরণ করবে)?
۞ وَمَن يُسْلِمْ وَجْهَهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْأُمُورِ
Whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good, he verily hath grasped the firm hand - hold. Unto Allah belongeth the sequel of all things.
আর যে ব্যক্তি একনিষ্ঠ ও বিশুদ্ধচিত্তে আল্লাহর কাছে নিজকে সমর্পণ করে, সে তো শক্ত রশি আঁকড়ে ধরে। আর সকল বিষয়ের পরিণাম আল্লাহরই কাছে।
وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ كُفْرُهُ ۚ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
And whosoever disbelieveth, let not his disbelief afflict thee (O Muhammad). Unto Us is their return, and We shall tell them what they did. Lo! Allah is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men).
আর যে করে, তার যেন তোমাকে ব্যথিত না করে; আমার কাছেই তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। অতঃপর তারা যে আমল করত আমি তা তাদেরকে জানিয়ে দেব। নিশ্চয় অন্তরসমূহে যা আছে তা সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবহিত।
نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ
We give them comfort for a little, and then We drive them to a heavy doom.
আমি তাদেরকে অল্প ভোগ করতে দেই, তারপর তাদেরকে কঠোর আযাব ভোগ করতে বাধ্য করব।
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
If thou shouldst ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth ? they would answer: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not.
আর যদি তুমি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা কর, ‘কে আসমানসমূহ ও যমীন সৃষ্টি করেছেন?’ তারা অবশ্যই বলবে, ‘।’ বল, ‘সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না’।
لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Lo! Allah, He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.
আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে যা আছে তা আল্লাহর; নিশ্চয় অমুখাপেক্ষী, প্রশংসিত।
وَلَوْ أَنَّمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن شَجَرَةٍ أَقْلَامٌ وَالْبَحْرُ يَمُدُّهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ سَبْعَةُ أَبْحُرٍ مَّا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمَاتُ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
And if all the trees in the earth were pens, and the sea, with seven more seas to help it, (were ink), the words of Allah could not be exhausted. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.
আর যমীনে যত গাছ আছে তা যদি কলম হয়, আর সমুদ্র (হয় কালি), তার সাথে কালিতে পরিণত হয় আরো সাত সমুদ্র, তবুও আল্লাহর বাণীসমূহ শেষ হবে না। নিশ্চয় মহাপরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
مَّا خَلْقُكُمْ وَلَا بَعْثُكُمْ إِلَّا كَنَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ
Your creation and your raising (from the dead) are only as (the creation and the raising of) a single soul. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.
তোমাদের সৃষ্টি ও তোমাদের পুনরুত্থান কেবল একটি প্রাণের (সৃষ্টি ও পুনরুত্থানের) মতই। নিশ্চয় সর্বশ্রোতা, দ্রষ্টা।
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
Hast thou not seen how Allah causeth the night to pass into the day and causeth the day to pass into the night, and hath subdued the sun and the moon (to do their work), each running unto an appointed term; and that Allah is of what ye do ?
তুমি কি দেখনি যে, রাতকে দিনের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করান এবং দিনকে রাতের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করান? আর তিনি সূর্য ও চাঁদকে নিয়োজিত করেছেন। প্রত্যেকেই চলছে একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত। আর নিশ্চয় তোমরা যা কর, সে সম্পর্কে সম্পূর্ণ অবহিত।
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ
That (is so) because Allah, He is the True, and that which they invoke beside Him is the False, and because Allah, He is the Sublime, the Great.
এগুলো প্রমাণ করে যে, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহই সত্য এবং তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যাকে ডাকে, তা মিথ্যা। আর নিশ্চয় আল্লাহই হলেন সর্বোচ্চ, সুমহান।
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ الْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَتِ اللَّهِ لِيُرِيَكُم مِّنْ آيَاتِهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ
Hast thou not seen how the ships glide on the sea by Allah's grace, that He may show you of His wonders ? Lo! therein indeed are portents for every steadfast, grateful (heart).
তুমি কি দেখনি যে, নৌযানগুলো আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহে সমুদ্রে চলাচল করে, যাতে তিনি তাঁর কিছু নিদর্শন তোমাদের দেখাতে পারেন। নিশ্চয় এতে প্রত্যেক ধৈর্যশীল, কৃতজ্ঞ ব্যক্তির জন্য অনেক নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
وَإِذَا غَشِيَهُم مَّوْجٌ كَالظُّلَلِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ فَمِنْهُم مُّقْتَصِدٌ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا كُلُّ خَتَّارٍ كَفُورٍ
And if a wave enshroudeth them like awnings, they cry unto Allah, making their faith pure for Him only. But when He bringeth them safe to land, some of them compromise. None denieth Our signs save every traitor ingrate.
আর যখন ঢেউ তাদেরকে ছায়ার মত আচ্ছন্ন করে নেয়, তখন তারা একনিষ্ঠ অবস্থায় আনুগত্যভরে আল্লাহকে ডাকে। অতঃপর যখন তিনি তাদেরকে উদ্ধার করে স্থলে পৌঁছে দেন, তখন তাদের কেউ কেউ (ঈমান ও কুফরীর) মধ্যপথে থাকে। আর বিশ্বাসঘাতক ও ব্যক্তি ছাড়া কেউ আমার নিদর্শনাবলী অস্
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِ شَيْئًا ۚ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ
O mankind! Keep your duty to your Lord and fear a Day when the parent will not be able to avail the child in aught, nor the child to avail the parent. Lo! Allah's promise is the very truth. Let not the life of the world beguile you, nor let the deceiver beguile you, in regard to Allah.
হে মানুষ, তোমরা তোমাদের রবকে ভয় কর এবং সেই দিনকে ভয় কর যেদিন পিতা তার সন্তানের কোন উপকার করতে পারবে না এবং সন্তানও তার পিতার কোন উপকারে আসবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। সুতরাং দুনিয়ার জীবন যেন কিছুতেই তোমাদেরকে ধোকা দিতে না পারে এবং মহাপ্রতারক (শয়তান)
إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْأَرْحَامِ ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ مَّاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ
Lo! Allah! With Him is knowledge of the Hour. He sendeth down the rain, and knoweth that which is in the wombs. No soul knoweth what it will earn to - morrow, and no soul knoweth in what land it will die. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.
নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর নিকট কিয়ামতের জ্ঞান রয়েছে। আর তিনি বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করেন এবং জরায়ূতে যা আছে, তা তিনি জানেন। আর কেউ জানে না আগামীকাল সে কী অর্জন করবে এবং কেউ জানে না কোন্ স্থানে সে মারা যাবে। নিশ্চয় সর্বজ্ঞ, সম্যক অবহিত।
