Transliteration
Arabic, with marks
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا
Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. By the sun and his brightness,
জহুরুল হক
ভাবো সূর্যের আর তার সকাল বেলাকার কিরণের কথা,
Transliteration
Waalshshamsi waduhaha
Arabic, with marks
وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَاهَا
Pickthall
And the moon when she followeth him,
জহুরুল হক
আর চন্দ্রের কথা যখন সে তার কিরণ ধার করে,
Transliteration
Waalqamari itha talaha
Arabic, with marks
وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّاهَا
Pickthall
And the day when it revealeth him,
জহুরুল হক
আর দিনের কথা যখন সে তাকে উজ্জ্বলভাবে প্রকাশ করে,
Transliteration
Waalnnahari itha jallaha

وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَا
Pickthall
And the night when it enshroudeth him,
জহুরুল হক
আর রাতের কথা যখন সে তাকে আচ্ছাদিত করে।
Transliteration
Waallayli itha yaghshaha
Arabic, with marks
وَالسَّمَاءِ وَمَا بَنَاهَا
Pickthall
And the heaven and Him Who built it,
জহুরুল হক
ভাবো মহাকাশের কথা ও যিনি তাকে বানিয়েছেন,
Transliteration
Waalssamai wama banaha
Arabic, with marks
وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا
Pickthall
And the earth and Him Who spread it,
জহুরুল হক
আর পৃথিবীর কথা ও যিনি তাকে প্রসারিত করেছেন,
Transliteration
Waalardi wama tahaha
Arabic, with marks
وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا
Pickthall
And a soul and Him Who perfected it
জহুরুল হক
আর মানবাত্মার কথা ও যিনি তাকে সুঠাম করেছেন,
Transliteration
Wanafsin wama sawwaha
Arabic, with marks
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا
Pickthall
And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it.
জহুরুল হক
তারপর তাতে আবেগ সঞ্চার করেছেন তার মন্দ কাজের ও তার ধর্মপরায়ণতার।
Transliteration
Faalhamaha fujooraha wataqwaha
Arabic, with marks
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّاهَا
Pickthall
He is indeed who causeth it to grow,
জহুরুল হক
সে - ই সফলতা অর্জন করবে যে তাকে শোধিত করবে;
Transliteration
Qad aflaha man zakkaha
Arabic, with marks
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّاهَا
Pickthall
And he is indeed a failure who stunteth it.
জহুরুল হক
আর সে - ই ব্যর্থ হবে যে একে পঙ্গু করবে।
Transliteration
Waqad khaba man dassaha
Arabic, with marks
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا
Pickthall
(The tribe of) Thamud denied (the truth) in their rebellious pride,
জহুরুল হক
ছামূদ জাতি তাদের অবাধ্যতা বশত মিথ্যা বলেছিল,
Transliteration
Kaththabat thamoodu bitaghwaha
Arabic, with marks
إِذِ انبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا
Pickthall
When the basest of them broke forth
জহুরুল হক
যখন তাদের সব চাইতে ইতর লোকটি উঠে দাঁড়িয়েছিল, - -
Transliteration
Ithi inbaAAatha ashqaha
Arabic, with marks
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا
Pickthall
And the messenger of Allah said: It is the she - camel of Allah, so let her drink!
জহুরুল হক
তখন র রসূল তাদের বলেছিলেন - - ''র উষ্ট্রী, আর তার জলপানস্থল।’’
Transliteration
Faqala lahum rasoolu Allahi naqata Allahi wasuqyaha
Arabic, with marks
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا
Pickthall
But they denied him, and they hamstrung her, so Allah doomed them for their sin and rased (their dwellings).
জহুরুল হক
কিন্ত তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বললো ও তাকে হত্যা করল, সেজন্য তাদের প্রভু তাদের পাপের জন্যে তাদের উপরে বিধ্বংসী আঘাত হানলেন, ফলে তাদের একসমান করে দিলেন;
Transliteration
Fakaththaboohu faAAaqarooha fadamdama AAalayhim rabbuhum bithanbihim fasawwaha
Arabic, with marks
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا
Pickthall
He dreadeth not the sequel (of events).
জহুরুল হক
আর তিনি এর পরিণামের জন্য ভয় করেন না।
Transliteration
Wala yakhafu AAuqbaha
