بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the Daybreak
জহুরুল হক
তুমি বলো - - ''আমি আশ্রয় চাইছি নিশিভোরের প্রভুর কাছে, - -

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

From the evil of that which He created;
জহুরুল হক
''তিনি যা সৃষ্টি করেছেন তার অনিষ্ট থেকে,

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
Pickthall
From the evil of the darkness when it is intense,
জহুরুল হক
''আর অন্ধকারের অনিষ্ট থেকে যখন তা আচ্ছন্ন করে ফেলে,

وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ

And from the evil of malignant witchcraft,

''আর গাঁথনিতে ফুৎকারিণীদের অনিষ্ট থেকে,

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Pickthall
And from the evil of the envier when he envieth.
জহুরুল হক
''আর হিংসাকারীর অনিষ্ট থেকে যখন সে হিংসা করে।’’
