١ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
১ নিশ্চয় আমি নূহকে পাঠিয়েছিলাম তার কওমের কাছে (এ কথা বলে), ‘তোমার কওমকে সতর্ক কর, তাদের নিকট যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব আসার পূর্বে’।
Saheeh International
1 Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment."

٢ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

২ সে বলল, ‘হে আমার কওম! নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাদের জন্য এক স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী-

2 He said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner,

٣ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ

৩ যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর ‘ইবাদাত কর, তাঁকে ভয় কর এবং আমার আনুগত্য কর’।

3 [Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me.

٤ يَغْفِرْ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ إِذَا جَاءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ ۖ لَوْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
৪ ‘তিনি তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন এবং তোমাদেরকে নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দেবেন; আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সময় আসলে কিছুতেই তা বিলম্বিত করা হয় না, যদি তোমরা জানতে’!
Saheeh International
4 Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.' "

٥ قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِي لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا

৫ সে বলল, ‘হে আমার রব! আমি তো আমার কওমকে রাত-দিন আহবান করেছি।

5 He said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day.

٦ فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَائِي إِلَّا فِرَارًا

৬ ‘অতঃপর আমার আহবান কেবল তাদের পলায়নই বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে’।

6 But my invitation increased them not except in flight.

٧ وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوا أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا اسْتِكْبَارًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
৭ ‘আর যখনই আমি তাদেরকে আহবান করেছি ‘যেন আপনি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেন’, তারা নিজদের কানে আঙ্গুল ঢুকিয়ে দিয়েছে, নিজদেরকে পোশাকে আবৃত করেছে, (অবাধ্যতায়) অনড় থেকেছে এবং দম্ভভরে ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ করেছে’।

7 And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance.

٨ ثُمَّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا

৮ ‘তারপর আমি তাদেরকে প্রকাশ্যে আহবান করেছি’।
Saheeh International
8 Then I invited them publicly.

٩ ثُمَّ إِنِّي أَعْلَنتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًا

৯ অতঃপর তাদেরকে আমি প্রকাশ্যে এবং অতি গোপনেও আহবান করেছি।

9 Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly

١٠ فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
১০ আর বলেছি, ‘তোমাদের রবের কাছে ক্ষমা চাও; নিশ্চয় তিনি পরম ক্ষমাশীল’।
Saheeh International
10 And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.

١١ يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا

১১ ‘তিনি তোমাদের উপর মুষলধারে বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করবেন,

11 He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers

١٢ وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَارًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
১২ ‘আর তোমাদেরকে ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান- সন্ততি দিয়ে সাহায্য করবেন এবং তোমাদের জন্য বাগ-বাগিচা দেবেন আর দেবেন নদী-নালা’।

12 And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.

١٣ مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا

১৩ ‘তোমাদের কী হল, তোমরা আল্লাহর শ্রেষ্ঠত্বের পরোয়া করছ না’?

13 What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur

١٤ وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا

১৪ ‘অথচ তিনি তোমাদেরকে নানা স্তরে সৃষ্টি করেছেন’।

14 While He has created you in stages?

١٥ أَلَمْ تَرَوْا كَيْفَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا

১৫ ‘তোমরা কি লক্ষ্য কর না যে, কীভাবে আল্লাহ স্তরে স্তরে সপ্তাকাশ সৃষ্টি করেছেন’?

15 Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers

١٦ وَجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا

১৬ আর এগুলোর মধ্যে চাঁদকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন আলো আর সূর্যকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন প্রদীপরূপে’।

16 And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp?

١٧ وَاللَّهُ أَنبَتَكُم مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا

১৭ ‘আর আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে উদগত করেছেন মাটি থেকে’।
Saheeh International
17 And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth.

١٨ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
১৮ ‘তারপর তিনি তোমাদেরকে তাতে ফিরিয়ে নেবেন এবং নিশ্চিতভাবে তোমাদেরকে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন’।

18 Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction.

١٩ وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا

১৯ ‘আর আল্লাহ পৃথিবীকে তোমাদের জন্য বিস্তৃত করেছেন,

19 And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse

٢٠ لِّتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا

২০ যেন তোমরা সেখানে প্রশস্ত পথে চলতে পার’।

20 That you may follow therein roads of passage.' "

٢١ قَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِي وَاتَّبَعُوا مَن لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلَّا خَسَارًا

২১ নূহ বলল, ‘হে আমার রব! তারা আমার অবাধ্য হয়েছে এবং এমন একজনের অনুসরণ করেছে যার ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি কেবল তার ক্ষতিই বাড়িয়ে দেয়’।
Saheeh International
21 Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss.

٢٢ وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
২২ ‘আর তারা ভয়ানক ষড়যন্ত্র করেছে’।
Saheeh International
22 And they conspired an immense conspiracy.

٢٣ وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا

২৩ আর তারা বলে, ‘তোমরা তোমাদের উপাস্যদের বর্জন করো না; বর্জন করো না ওয়াদ, সুওয়া‘, ইয়াগূছ, ইয়া‘ঊক ও নাসরকে’।
Saheeh International
23 And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.

٢٤ وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا كَثِيرًا ۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَالًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
২৪ ‘বস্তুত তারা অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে, আর (হে আল্লাহ ) আপনি যালিমদেরকে ভ্রষ্টতা ছাড়া আর কিছুই বাড়াবেন না’।
Saheeh International
24 And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error."

٢٥ مِّمَّا خَطِيئَاتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُوا فَأُدْخِلُوا نَارًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنصَارًا

২৫ তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদেরকে ডুবিয়ে দেয়া হল অতঃপর আগুনে প্রবেশ করানো হল; তারা নিজদের সাহায্যকারী হিসেবে আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কাউকে পায়নি।
Saheeh International
25 Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers.

٢٦ وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا

২৬ আর নূহ বলল, ‘হে আমার রব! যমীনের উপর কোন কাফিরকে অবশিষ্ট রাখবেন না’।
Saheeh International
26 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant.

٢٧ إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا

২৭ ‘আপনি যদি তাদেরকে অবশিষ্ট রাখেন তবে তারা আপনার বান্দাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করবে এবং দুরাচারী ও কাফির ছাড়া অন্য কারো জন্ম দেবে না’।
Saheeh International
27 Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever .

٢٨ رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
২৮ ‘হে আমার রব! আমাকে, আমার পিতা-মাতাকে, যে আমার ঘরে ঈমানদার হয়ে প্রবেশ করবে তাকে এবং মুমিন নারী-পুরুষকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং ধ্বংস ছাড়া আপনি যালিমদের আর কিছুই বাড়িয়ে দেবেন না।’
Saheeh International
28 My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."
