بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(হে নবী!) বলো : আমি আশ্রয় চাই ভোরের প্রভুর কাছে

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak,

বল, ‘আমি শরণ লইতেছি ঊষার স্রষ্টার

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেইসবের অনিষ্ট থেকে, যা তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন,

"From the evil of what He has created,

‘তিনি যাহা সৃষ্টি করিয়াছেন তাহার অনিষ্ট হইতে,

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর অন্ধকার রাতের অনিষ্ট থেকে, যখন তার অন্ধকার ছেয়ে যায়।

"And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away),

‘অনিষ্ট হইতে রাত্রির অন্ধকারের, যখন উহা গভীর হয়

وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর সেই সব নারী (বা) পুরুষদের অনিষ্ট থেকে, যারা গিরায় ফুঁ দেয়।

"And from the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in the knots,

‘এবং অনিষ্ট হইতে সমস্ত নারীদের, যাহারা গ্রন্থিতে ফুৎকার দেয়

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর হিংসুকের অনিষ্ট থেকে, যখন সে হিংসা করে।

"And from the evil of the envier when he envies."

এবং অনিষ্ট হইতে হিংসুকের, যখন সে হিংসা করে।’
