١ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১ আলিফ - লাম - রা। এগুলো আয়াত আল কিতাব এবং সুস্পষ্ট কুরআনের।

1 Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an.

١ الٓر تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَقُرْءَانٍ مُّبِينٍ

٢ رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ

২ কাফিররাও কখনো কখনো আকাঙ্খা করে, যদি তারা মুসলিম হতো!

2 Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims.

٢ رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ

٣ ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا وَيُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩ তাদের উপেক্ষা করো: তারা খেতে থাকুক, ভোগ করতে থাকুক এবং তাদের আশা - আকাঙ্খা তাদেরকে মোহাচ্ছন্ন করে রাখুক। অচিরেই তারা জানতে পারবে।

3 Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know.

٣ ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا۟ وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ وَيُلْهِهِمُ ٱلْأَمَلُ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

٤ وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৪ আমরা যে কোনো জনপদকেই হালাক করেছি, তার অবশ্যি একটি নির্দিষ্ট মেয়াদকাল রেকর্ড করা ছিলো।

4 And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree.

٤ وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ

٥ مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৫ কোনো উম্মতের (ধ্বংসের) মেয়াদকাল এগিয়েও আসেনা এবং পিছিয়েও যায়না।

5 No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.

٥ مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ

٦ وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৬ তারা বলে: ‘‘হে ঐ ব্যক্তি, যার প্রতি আয - যিকির (আল - কুরআন) নাযিল করা হয়েছে, তুমি অবশ্যি একজন পাগল।

6 And they say, "O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad.

٦ وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِى نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ

٧ لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৭ তুমি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকলে আমাদের কাছে ফেরেশতা নিয়ে আসোনা কেন?’’

7 Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful?"

٧ لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

٨ مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৮ আমরা তো বাস্তব পরিস্থিতি সৃষ্টি হওয়া ছাড়া ফেরেশতা পাঠাইনা; আর যখনই ফেরেশতা পাঠাই তখন আর তাদের অবকাশ দেয়া হয়না।

8 We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved.

٨ مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ

٩ إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৯ আয - যিকির (আল - কুরআন) আমরাই নাযিল করেছি এবং আমরাই সেটির হিফাযতকারী।

9 Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian.

٩ إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

١٠ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ

১০ তোমার আগেকার অনেক সম্প্রদায়ের কাছেই আমরা রসূল পাঠিয়েছিলাম।

10 And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muhammad], among the sects of the former peoples.

١٠ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى شِيَعِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

١١ وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

১১ যখনই তাদের কাছে কোনো রসূল এসেছে তারা (তাকে নিয়ে) বিদ্রূপ করেছে

11 And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him.

١١ وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

١٢ كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১২ এভাবে আমরা (সর্বকালের) অপরাধীদের অন্তরে তা (কুফুরি ও হঠকারিতা) সঞ্চার করি।

12 Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals.

١٢ كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

١٣ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৩ তারা এর (কুরআনের) প্রতি ঈমান আনেনা। আর অতীতের (অপরাধীদের) সুন্নতও ছিলো এটাই।

13 They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples.

١٣ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

١٤ وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَظَلُّوا فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ

১৪ আমরা যদি তাদের জন্যে আসমানের দুয়ারও খুলে দিতাম এবং তারা যদি দিবালোকে তাতে মেরাজ (আরোহণ) করতেও থাকতো,

14 And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend,

١٤ وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ

١٥ لَقَالُوا إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৫ তখনো তারা বলতো, আমাদের চোখকে সম্মোহিত করা হয়েছে, বরং আমরা জাদুগ্রস্ত লোক।

15 They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."

١٥ لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ

١٦ وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ

১৬ আমরা আসমানে বুরুজ (গ্রহ - নক্ষত্র) স্থাপন করেছি এবং সেগুলোকে দর্শকদের জন্যে শোভামন্ডিত করেছি।

16 And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers.

١٦ وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ

١٧ وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৭ এবং প্রতিটি অভিশপ্ত শয়তান থেকে সেটিকে হিফাযত করেছি।

17 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah]

١٧ وَحَفِظْنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍ رَّجِيمٍ

١٨ إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৮ তবে কেউ যদি চুরি করে সংবাদ শুনতে চায় তার পশ্চাদধাবন করে উজ্জ্বল শিহাব (শিখা)।

18 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame.

١٨ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ

١٩ وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১৯ আর পৃথিবী, আমরা তাকে সমতল করে বিছিয়ে দিয়েছি, আর তাতে স্থাপন করেছি পাহাড় - পর্বত এবং তাতে উৎপন্ন করেছি প্রতিটি জিনিস ওজন মতো (যথাযথ পরিমাণে)।

19 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well - balanced thing.

١٩ وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ

٢٠ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২০ তাতে ব্যবস্থা করে দিয়েছি তোমাদের জীবিকার, এবং তাদের জীবিকারও যাদের জীবিকাদাতা তোমরা নও।

20 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers.

٢٠ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ

٢١ وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২১ এমন কোনো জিনিস নেই, আমাদের কাছে যার ভান্ডার রক্ষিত নেই। আমরা তা নাযিল করি জ্ঞাত নির্দিষ্ট পরিমাণে।
Saheeh International
21 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure.

٢١ وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ

٢٢ وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২২ আর আমরা বর্ষণমুখী মেঘবাহী বাতাস পাঠাই, তারপর আসমান থেকে নাযিল করি পানি এবং তা তোমাদের পান করাই, অথচ তোমরা তো সেই (পানি) ভান্ডারের মালিক নও।
Saheeh International
22 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers.

٢٢ وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ

٢٣ وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৩ আমরাই হায়াত দেই এবং মউত ঘটাই এবং আমরাই ওয়ারিশ (মালিক)।

23 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor.

٢٣ وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ

٢٤ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৪ আমরা তোমাদের বিগতদের জানি এবং যারা আসবে তাদেরও জানি।

24 And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come].

٢٤ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ

٢٥ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৫ নিশ্চয়ই তোমার প্রভু তাদের সবার হাশর করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি প্রজ্ঞাবান, জ্ঞানী।

25 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing.

٢٥ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

٢٦ وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৬ আমরা সৃষ্টি করেছি মানুষকে গন্ধযুক্ত কাদার শুকনো ঠনঠনে মাটি থেকে।

26 And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.

٢٦ وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

٢٧ وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৭ আর তাদের আগে আমরা জিনদের সৃষ্টি করেছি শিখাযুক্ত আগুন থেকে।

27 And the jinn We created before from scorching fire.

٢٧ وَٱلْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ

٢٨ وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৮ (স্মরণ করো,) যখন তোমার প্রভু ফেরেশতাদের বলেছিলেন, আমি মানুষ সৃষ্টি করতে যাচ্ছি গন্ধযুক্ত কাদার শুকনো ঠনঠনে মাটি থেকে।

28 And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud.

٢٨ وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

٢٩ فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৯ আমি যখন তাকে সুগঠিত করবো এবং আমার পক্ষ থেকে তাতে রূহ সঞ্চার করে দেবো, তখন তোমরা তার প্রতি সাজদায় নুয়ে পড়বে।

29 And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."

٢٩ فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ

٣٠ فَسَجَدَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩০ ফলে ফেরেশতারা সবাই ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে তাকে সাজদা করে।

30 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely,

٣٠ فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ

٣١ إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩১ তবে করেনি শুধু ইবলিস। সে সাজদাকারীদের অন্তরভুক্ত হতে অস্বীকার করে।

31 Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated.

٣١ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

٣٢ قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩২ আল্লাহ বললেন: ‘হে ইবলিস! তোর কী হয়েছে, তুই কেন সাজদাকারীদের অন্তরভুক্ত হইস্নি?’

32 [Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"

٣٢ قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

٣٣ قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩৩ সে বললো: ‘‘আমি তো এমন একজনকে সাজদা করতে পারিনা, যাকে আপনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন গন্ধযুক্ত কাদার শুকনো ঠনঠনে মাটি থেকে।’

33 He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud."

٣٣ قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

٣٤ قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩৪ তিনি বললেন: ‘‘তুই ওখান থেকে বেরিয়ে যা, কারণ তুই অভিশপ্ত।
Saheeh International
34 [Allah] said, "Then get out of it, for indeed, you are expelled.

٣٤ قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ

٣٥ وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩৫ প্রতিদান দিবস পর্যন্ত বর্ষিত হবে তোর উপর লা’নত।’’

35 And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense."

٣٥ وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ ٱللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

٣٦ قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩৬ সে বললো: ‘প্রভু! আমাকে অবকাশ দিন পুনরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত।’

36 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."

37 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved

38 Until the Day of the time well - known."

৩৯ সে বললো: ‘‘প্রভু! যেহেতু আপনি আমাকে বিপথগামী করেছেন, সে জন্যে আমি পৃথিবীতে তাদের (মানুষের) জন্যে বিপথগামিতাকে চাকচিক্যময় করে তুলবো এবং তাদের সবাইকে বিপথগামী করে ছাড়বো।

39 [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all

40 Except, among them, Your chosen servants."

41 [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight.

৪২ আমার দাসদের উপর তোর কোনো কর্তৃত্ব খাটবেনা, তবে বিভ্রান্তদের যারা তোর অনুসরণ করবে তাদের কথা ভিন্ন।

42 Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.

43 And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all.

৪৪ তার আছে সাতটি দরজা, প্রত্যেক দরজার জন্যে তাদের একটি অংশ নির্ধারণ করে দেয়া হয়েছে।

44 It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated."

45 Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs.

46 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]."

৪৭ তাদের অন্তরে পরস্পরের জন্যে কোনো বিদ্বেষ থাকলে তা আমরা দূর করে দেবো, তারা পরস্পর মুখোমুখি হয়ে আসন গ্রহণ করবে ভাই ভাই হিসেবে।

47 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.

৪৮ সেখানে তাদের স্পর্শ করবেনা কোনো অবসাদ এবং সেখান থেকে তাদের বের করেও দেয়া হবেনা।

48 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.

49 [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful.

৫২ তারা যখন তার কাছে প্রবেশ করেছিল, বলেছিল: ‘সালাম’। সে বলেছিল: ‘আমরা আপনাদের আগমনে আতংকিত।’

52 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you."

53 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy."

٥٣ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ

٥٤ قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِي عَلَىٰ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৫৪ সে বলেছিল: ‘আপনারা আমাকে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন আমি বার্ধক্যে উপনীত হওয়া সত্ত্বেও। আপনারা কীভাবে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন?’

54 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?"

٥٤ قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ

٥٥ قَالُوا بَشَّرْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ الْقَانِطِينَ

৫৫ তারা বলেছিল: ‘আমাদের দেয়া সুসংবাদ সত্য। আপনি নিরাশ হবেন না।’

55 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing."

٥٥ قَالُوا۟ بَشَّرْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْقَٰنِطِينَ

٥٦ قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِ إِلَّا الضَّالُّونَ

৫৬ সে বলেছিল: ‘বিভ্রান্তরা ছাড়া কে নিরাশ হয় তার প্রভুর রহমত থেকে?’

56 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?"

৫৭ তারপর সে বললো: ‘(হে ফেরেশতারা!) আপনাদের আর কী বক্তব্য?’

57 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"

58 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,

৫৯ তবে, লুতের পরিবারবর্গের বিরুদ্ধে নয়, আমরা তাদের সবাইকে নাজাত দেবো।

59 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all

৬০ কিন্তু তাঁর (লুতের) স্ত্রীকে নয়। আমরা নিশ্চিত হয়েছি, সে ধবংস হবার জন্যে পেছনে পড়ে থাকাদের অন্তরভুক্ত হবে।’’

60 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind.

62 He said, "Indeed, you are people unknown."

63 They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing,

٦٤ وَأَتَيْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ

৬৪ আমরা সত্য সংবাদ নিয়ে এসেছি এবং অবশ্যি আমরা সত্যবাদী।

64 And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful.

٦٤ وَأَتَيْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ

٦٥ فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ وَاتَّبِعْ أَدْبَارَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَامْضُوا حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৬৫ সুতরাং আপনি রাতের কোনো এক সময় আপনার পরিবার - পরিজনকে নিয়ে বের হয়ে পড়ুন। আপনি তাদের পেছনে চলুন এবং আপনাদের কেউই যেনো পেছনে ফিরে না তাকায়। আপনাদেরকে যেখানে বলা হয়েছে সেখানে চলে যান।’’

65 So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded."

٦٥ فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱتَّبِعْ أَدْبَٰرَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَٱمْضُوا۟ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ

٦٦ وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ الْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৬৬ আমরা তাকে ফায়সালা জানিয়ে দিলাম যে, প্রভাতেই তাদের শিকড় কেটে দেয়া হবে (সমূলে বিনাশ করা হবে)।

66 And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning.

٦٦ وَقَضَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ

٦٧ وَجَاءَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ

৬৭ নগরবাসীরা (মেহমান আগমনের সংবাদে) উল্লসিত হয়ে (লুতের বাড়িতে) এসে উপস্থিত হয়।

67 And the people of the city came rejoicing.

٦٨ قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ ضَيْفِي فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ

৬৮ সে বললো: ‘‘এরা আমার মেহমান, তোমরা আমাকে বেইজ্জতি করোনা।

68 [Lot] said, "Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me.

٦٨ قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيْفِى فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ

٦٩ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ

৬৯ তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো, আমাকে অপমানিত করোনা।’’

69 And fear Allah and do not disgrace me."

৭০ তারা বললো: আমরা কি জগতবাসীকে আশ্রয় দিতে তোমাকে নিষেধ করিনি?

70 They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?"

৭১ লুত বললো: এই যে আমার (জাতির) কন্যারা রয়েছে, তোমরা কিছু করতে চাইলে তাদের বিয়ে করে নাও।

71 [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]."

৭২ তোমার জীবনের শপথ, তারা তখন উন্মত্ততায় উদ্ভ্রান্ত হয়ে পড়েছিল।

72 By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly.

৭৩ তারপর সূর্যোদয়ের সময় তাদের পাকড়াও করে বিকটধ্বনি।

73 So the shriek seized them at sunrise.

৭৪ তখন আমরা (লুত জাতির) জনপদের উপরের দিক নিচে করে উল্টে দিয়েছি এবং তাদের উপর অবিরাম বর্ষণ করেছি পাথরের কংকর।

74 And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay.

٧٤ فَجَعَلْنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

٧٥ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ

৭৫ বিশ্লেষণ শক্তিসম্পন্ন লোকদের জন্যে এতে রয়েছে নিদর্শন।

75 Indeed in that are signs for those who discern.

৭৬ সেই বিরান জনপদ লোক চলাচলের পথপাশে এখনো বিদ্যমান।

76 And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road.

٧٧ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

৭৭ মুমিনদের জন্যে তাতে রয়েছে এক নিদর্শন।
Saheeh International
77 Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.

৭৮ আর আইকাবাসীরাও ছিলো সীমালংঘনকারী।

78 And the companions of the thicket were [also] wrongdoers.

٧٨ وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ

٧٩ فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৭৯ তাদের থেকেও আমরা প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছি। উভয় বিরানভূমিই প্রকাশ্য মহাসড়কের পাশে এখনো বিদ্যমান।
Saheeh International
79 So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway.

٧٩ فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ

৮০ হিজরবাসীরাও রসূলদের মিথ্যা বলে প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছিল।

80 And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers.

٨١ وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ آيَاتِنَا فَكَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

৮১ আমরা তাদের দিয়েছিলাম আমাদের নিদর্শনসমূহ, কিন্তু তারা তা উপেক্ষা করেছিল।

81 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away.

٨١ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

٨٢ وَكَانُوا يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا آمِنِينَ

৮২ তারা পাহাড় কেটে বাসস্থান নির্মাণ করেছিল নিরাপদ থাকার জন্যে।

82 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure.

৮৩ তাদেরকেও প্রভাতকালেই আঘাত করেছিল এক মহাবিকট শব্দ।

83 But the shriek seized them at early morning.

٨٤ فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ

৮৪ তাদের অর্জনসমূহ তাদের কোনো উপকারই করতে পারেনি।

84 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn.

٨٤ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ

٨٥ وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ ۖ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৮৫ মহাকাশ আর পৃথিবী এবং এই দুয়ের মাঝে যা কিছু আছে সবই আমরা সৃষ্টি করেছি বাস্তবতার ভিত্তিতে। কিয়ামত অবশ্যি আসবে। তাই তুমি সুন্দর সৌজন্যবোধের সাথে তাদের উপেক্ষা করো।
Saheeh International
85 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness.

٨٥ وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَءَاتِيَةٌ فَٱصْفَحِ ٱلصَّفْحَ ٱلْجَمِيلَ

٨٦ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ

৮৬ নিশ্চয়ই তোমার রব মহাস্রষ্টা, অতীব জ্ঞানী।

86 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator.

৮৭ আমরা তোমাকে দিয়েছি পুন: পুন: আবৃত্ত সাত (আয়াত) এবং মহাগ্রন্থ আল - কুরআন।

87 And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an.

٨٧ وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَٰكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِى وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ

٨٨ لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৮৮ আমরা তাদের বিভিন্ন শ্রেণীকে ভোগ বিলাসের যেসব উপকরণ দিয়েছি, সেগুলোর প্রতি তুমি কখনো তোমার দুই চোখ মেলে তাকিয়োনা। তাদের জন্যে তুমি দুঃখও করোনা। তুমি মুমিনদের জন্যে তোমার দুই ডানা অবনমিত করে দাও।
Saheeh International
88 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers

٨٨ لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

٨٩ وَقُلْ إِنِّي أَنَا النَّذِيرُ الْمُبِينُ

৮৯ তুমি বলো: ‘আমি তো কেবল সুস্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী।’

89 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" -

90 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators

৯১ যারা তাদের কুরআনকে (তাওরাতকে) বিভিন্নভাবে বিভক্ত করেছে।

91 Who have made the Qur'an into portions.

92 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all

৯৪ তোমাকে যার আদেশ করা হয়েছে তা প্রকাশ্যে প্রচার করো এবং মুশরিকদের উপেক্ষা করে চলো।

94 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists.

95 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers

٩٦ الَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

৯৬ যারা আল্লাহর সাথে অপর ইলাহ্ বানিয়ে নিয়েছে। অচিরেই তারা জানতে পারবে।

96 Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know.

97 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say.

৯৮ সুতরাং তুমি তোমার প্রভুর প্রশংসার সাথে তসবিহ করো এবং তুমি সাজদাকারীদের অন্তরভুক্ত।

98 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him].

৯৯ এবং তোমার প্রভুর ইবাদত করো যতোক্ষণ না তোমার কাছে আসে নিশ্চিত জিনিসটি (মৃত্যু)।

99 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death).
