١ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ

১ শপথ বুরূজ (বিশাল বিশাল গ্রহ - নক্ষত্র) ওয়ালা আকাশের।

1 By the sky containing great stars

২ শপথ ওয়াদাকৃত দিনটির।

2 And [by] the promised Day

৩ শপথ দ্রষ্টা এবং দৃশ্যের।

3 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,

৪ ধ্বংস হয়েছে সেই গর্তওয়ালা লোকেরা, (যারা গর্ত খনন করেছিল এবং সে গর্তে)

4 Cursed were the companions of the trench

৫ জ্বালানি পূর্ণ করে জ্বালিয়ে দিয়েছিল আগুন।

5 [Containing] the fire full of fuel,

৬ তখন গর্তের কিনারেই বসেছিল তারা।

6 When they were sitting near it

٧ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ

৭ এবং তারা মুমিনদের সাথে যা করছিল তা অবলোকন করছিল।

7 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.

٧ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ

٨ وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ

৮ তারা তাদের (মুমিনদের) থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছিল শুধুমাত্র এই অপরাধে যে, তারা অসীম ক্ষমতাবান সপ্রশংসিত আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছিল,

8 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,

٨ وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ

٩ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৯ যিনি মহাকাশ এবং এই পৃথিবীর কর্তৃত্বের মালিক। আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর সাক্ষী।

9 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness.

٩ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ

١٠ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১০ যারা মুমিন পুরুষ ও মুমিন নারীদের উপর যুলুম নির্যাতন চালিয়েছে, তারপর অনুতপ্ত হয়ে সেকাজ থেকে ফিরে আসেনি (আল্লাহর দিকে), তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের আযাব, আর জ্বালিয়ে - পুড়িয়ে যন্ত্রণা দেয়ার শাস্তি।
Saheeh International
10 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.

١٠ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

١١ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
১১ নিশ্চয়ই যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং আমলে সালেহ্ করেছে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জান্নাত, সেসব বাগিচার নিচে দিয়ে বহমান থাকবে নদ - নদী - নহর। এটাই (মানব জীবনের) মহাসাফল্য।

11 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.

١١ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

١٢ إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ

১২ নিশ্চয়ই তোমার প্রভুর গ্রেফতারি বড়ই শক্ত এবং কঠিন।

12 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.

১৩ নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সেই মহান সত্তা, যিনি সৃষ্টি করেন এবং পুনরায় (সৃষ্টি) করবেন।

13 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.

17 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -

18 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?

১৯ কিন্তু যারা কুফরির পথ ধরেছে, তারা অস্বীকার করেই চলেছে,

19 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,

২০ আর আল্লাহ পেছন থেকে (তাদের অজ্ঞাতেই) ঘেরাও করে রেখেছেন তাদের।

20 While Allah encompasses them from behind.
