১ মানুষের উপর কি কালের এমন অধ্যায় অতিবাহিত হয়নি, যখন উল্লেখযোগ্য কিছুই ছিলনা সে?

1 Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?

١ هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ حِينٌ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْـًٔا مَّذْكُورًا
Deutsch
2 Wir haben den Menschen ja aus einem Samentropfen, einem Gemisch erschaffen, (um) ihn zu prüfen. Und so haben Wir ihn mit Gehör und Augenlicht versehen.

২ আমরা তো মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করেছি সংমিশ্রিত নোতফা (শুক্র বিন্দু) থেকে, তাকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্যে। আর এ উদ্দেশ্যেই আমরা তাকে অধিকারী করেছি শ্রবণ শক্তি আর দৃষ্টি শক্তির (অর্থাৎ - জ্ঞান বুদ্ধি বিবেকের)।

2 Indeed, We created man from a sperm - drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.

٢ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا
Deutsch
3 Wir haben ihn ja den (rechten) Weg geleitet, ob er nun dankbar oder undankbar sein mag.

৩ আমরা তাকে জীবন যাপনের সঠিক পথ দেখিয়ে দিয়েছি। এখন সে ইচ্ছে করলে আমার কৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে চলতে পারে, কিংবা হতে পারে অকৃতজ্ঞ।

3 Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.

٣ إِنَّا هَدَيْنَٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا

4 Wir haben ja für die Ungläubigen Ketten und Fesseln und eine Feuerglut bereitet.

৪ অকৃতজ্ঞদের জন্যে আমরা তৈরি করে রেখেছি শিকল, বেড়ি, আর জ্বলন্ত আগুন।

4 Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.

٤ إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغْلَٰلًا وَسَعِيرًا

5 Gewiß, die Frommen trinken aus einem Becher, dessen Beimischung Kampfer ist,

৫ সৎ - সত্যপন্থী (কৃতজ্ঞ) লোকেরা (জান্নাতে) এমন সব পান পাত্র থেকে (শরাব) পান করবে, যে পানীয় থাকবে (সুগন্ধ) কর্পুর মিশ্রিত।

5 Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,

٥ إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا

6 aus einer Quelle, aus der Allahs Diener trinken, die sie sprudelnd hervorströmen lassen.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৬ তা হবে এমন একটি ঝর্ণা, যা থেকে কেবল আল্লাহর প্রিয় দাসেরাই পান করবে। তারা যেদিকে ইচ্ছা প্রবাহিত করে নেবে এই ঝর্ণা।

6 A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].

٦ عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا

7 Sie erfüllen das Gelübde und fürchten einen Tag, dessen Übel sich wie im Flug ausbreitet,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৭ (আল্লাহর এই প্রিয় দাসেরা হলো সেই সব লোক) যারা তাদের মানত (আল্লাহর অনুগত হয়ে থাকার অঙ্গীকার) পূর্ণ করে এবং এমন একটি দিনের ভয়ে ভীত - কম্পিত থাকে, যে দিনটির বিপদ ছড়িয়ে পড়বে সবখানে।

7 They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.

8 und sie geben - obwohl man sie liebt - Speise zu essen einem Armen, einer Waisen und einem Gefangenen:

৮ আল্লাহর ভালোবাসা পাওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে তারা তাদের খাদ্য দান করে দেয় মিসকিন, এতিম ও বন্দিদেরকে।

8 And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,

٨ وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا
Deutsch
9 "Wir speisen euch nur um Allahs Angesicht willen. Wir wollen von euch weder Belohnung noch Dank.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৯ (খাদ্য দান করার সময়) তারা বলে (কিংবা এই মনোভাব পোষণ করে যে), ‘‘আমরা তোমাদের আহার্য দান করছি শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে। এর বিনিময়ে আমরা তোমাদের কাছে কোনো প্রকার প্রতিদান কিংবা কৃতজ্ঞতা আশা করিনা।

9 [Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.

٩ إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا

10 Wir fürchten ja von unserem Herrn einen Tag, der düster blicken läßt, einen unheilvollen."

১০ আমরা তো আমাদের মালিকের পক্ষ থেকে এক দীর্ঘ ভয়ংকর দিনের আশংকায় ভীত।’’

10 Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."

١٠ إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًا قَمْطَرِيرًا

11 So bewahrt sie Allah vor dem Übel jenes Tages und wird ihnen strahlendes Glück und Freude darbieten

১১ ফলে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে সেই দিনটির ক্ষতি ও অকল্যাণ থেকে রক্ষা করবেন এবং দান করবেন সৌন্দর্য - দীপ্তি (a light of beauty) আর আনন্দ প্রফুল্লতা (joy)।

11 So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness

١١ فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًا
Deutsch
12 und ihnen vergelten, daß sie standhaft gewesen sind, mit einem Garten und mit Seide,

১২ তাছাড়া তাদের সবরের (আল্লাহর পথে ধৈর্য ও দৃঢ়তার সাথে চলার) বিনিময়ে তিনি তাদের প্রতিদান দেবেন জান্নাত, আর রেশমি পোশাক।

12 And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments].

١٢ وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا
Deutsch
13 worin sie sich auf überdachten Liegen lehnen, und worin sie weder (heiße) Sonne noch bittere Kälte wahrnehmen werden.

১৩ সেখানে তারা সমাসীন হবে উঁচু উঁচু সুসজ্জিত আসনে। খরতপ্ত সূর্যতাপ কিংবা প্রচন্ড শীতে সেখানে তারা কষ্ট পাবেনা।

13 [They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold.

١٣ مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا
Deutsch
14 Nahe über ihnen sind seine Schatten, und seine Früchte sind ihnen (zum Pflücken) sehr gefügig gemacht.

১৪ তাদের উপর বিস্তীর্ণ থাকবে জান্নাতের বৃক্ষরাজির ছায়া, আর ফলরাজি থাকবে সব সময়ই তাদের নাগালের মধ্যে।

14 And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance.

١٤ وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًا

15 Herumgereicht werden ihnen Gefäße aus Silber und Trinkschalen, die (wie) aus Glas sind,

১৫ তাদের মাঝে (খাদ্য ও পানীয়) পরিবেশন করা হবে রৌপ্য পাত্র আর স্ফটিক - স্বচ্ছ (crystal) পান পাত্রে।

15 And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass],

١٥ وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِـَٔانِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا۠

16 Gläser aus Silber, die sie im rechten Maß bemessen.

১৬ রজত স্বচ্ছ স্ফটিকের (crystal) পাত্রে পরিবেশনকারীরা পরিবেশন করবে পরিমাণ মতো।

16 Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure.

١٦ قَوَارِيرَا۟ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًا
Deutsch
17 Und zu trinken gegeben wird ihnen darin ein Becher, dessen Beimischung Ingwer ist,

১৭ সেখানে তাদের শরাব পান করতে দেয়া হবে জানজাবিল (ginger) মিশ্রিত।

17 And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger

18 aus einer Quelle darin, die Salsabil genannt wird.

১৮ আর (জানজাবিল মিশ্রিত) এই শরাব হবে মূলত জান্নাতের একটি ঝর্ণা, যার নাম হলো ‘সালসাবিল’।

18 [From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel.

١٨ عَيْنًا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلًا
Deutsch
19 Und unter ihnen gehen ewig junge Knaben umher. Wenn du sie siehst, hältst du sie für ausgestreute Perlen.

১৯ সেখানে তাদের সেবায় নিয়োজিত থাকবে এমনসব চিরবালক (boys of everlasting youth), যাদের দেখলে তোমার মনে হবে, ওরা যেনো ছড়ানো মুক্তা!

19 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.

١٩ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا
Deutsch
20 Und wenn du dort hinsiehst, wirst du Wonne und ein großes Reich sehen.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২০ সেখানে গিয়ে যখন দেখবে, দেখতে পাবে নিয়ামত আর নিয়ামত (ভোগ বিলাসের সীমাহীন সামগ্রী), আর দেখতে পাবে (তোমাকে দেয়া হয়েছে) এক বিশাল সাম্রাজ্য (a great dominion)।

20 And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion.

٢٠ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيرًا
Deutsch
21 Auf ihnen werden grüne Gewänder aus Seidenbrokat sein und schwerer Brokat, und geschmückt werden sie sein mit Armreifen aus Silber. Und zu trinken wird ihr Herr ihnen ein reines" Getränk geben.

২১ তাদের পরিধানে থাকবে সবুজ রঙের সুক্ষ্ম - মিহি রেশমি পোশাক, আর সোনালি কিংখাবের বস্ত্ররাজি। তাদের অলংকৃত করা হবে রৌপ্য নির্মিত ব্রেসলেট দিয়ে আর তাদের প্রভু তাদের পান করাবেন শরাবান তহুরা (অনাবিল পানীয়)।

21 Upon the inhabitants will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink.

٢١ عَٰلِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ وَحُلُّوٓا۟ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا
Deutsch
22 Dies ist ja der Lohn für euch, und euer Bemühen wird gedankt sein.

২২ (তাদের বলা হবে) এগুলো তোমাদের জন্যে পুরস্কার (reward), কারণ তোমাদের সায়ী (চেষ্টা - সাধনা) কবুল করা হয়েছে।

22 [And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated."

٢٢ إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَآءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا

23 Gewiß, Wir sind es, die Wir dir den Qur'an offenbart, ja offenbart haben.

২৩ আমরাই পর্যায়ক্রমে তোমার প্রতি এ কুরআন নাযিল করছি।

23 Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively.

٢٣ إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلًا

24 So sei standhaft in Bezug auf das Urteil deines Herrn, und gehorche von ihnen keinem Sündhaften oder sehr Undankbaren.

২৪ সুতরাং ধৈর্য ও দৃঢ়তার সাথে তোমার প্রভুর নির্দেশ পালন করে যাও। আর তাদের মধ্যকার কোনো পাপিষ্ঠ কিংবা অবিশ্বাসীর আনুগত্য করোনা।

24 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever ].

٢٤ فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ ءَاثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا

25 Und gedenke des Namens deines Herrn morgens und abends,

২৫ আর তোমার প্রভুর নাম স্মরণ করো সকাল - সন্ধ্যায়।

25 And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening

26 und in (einem Teil) der Nacht, da wirf dich vor Ihm nieder und preise Ihn lange Zeit zur Nacht.

২৬ রাত্রি বেলায় তাঁর প্রতি সাজদায় অবনত হও এবং রাতে দীর্ঘ সময় তসবিহ করতে থাকো তাঁর।

26 And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night.

٢٦ وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا
Deutsch
27 Diese da lieben ja das schnell Eintreffende und lassen hinter sich einen schwer lastenden Tag.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৭ এই (অবিশ্বাসী) লোকেরা তো পছন্দ করে নিয়েছে এ পৃথিবীর জীবনকে, আর উপেক্ষা করছে পরবর্তী (পরকালের) কঠিন দিবসকে।

27 Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day.

٢٧ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا
Deutsch
28 Wir doch haben sie erschaffen und ihren Körperbau vollendet. Und wenn Wir wollen, tauschen Wir sie durch andere ihresgleichen aus.

২৮ আমরাই সৃষ্টি করেছি এদের, তারপর তাদের গঠন করেছি মজবুতভাবে। অতপর আমরা যখন চাইবো তাদের পরিবর্তে নিয়ে আসবো অনুরূপ কোনো জাতিকে।

28 We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration.

٢٨ نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا
Deutsch
29 Gewiß, dies ist eine Erinnerung; wer nun will, nimmt (so diesen) einen Weg zu seinem Herrn.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
২৯ এটি (কুরআন) একটি উপদেশ বাণী। অতএব, যার ইচ্ছা সে তার প্রভুর (সন্তুষ্টির) পথ অবলম্বন করতে পারে।

29 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.

٢٩ إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا
Deutsch
30 Und ihr könnt nicht(s) wollen, außer daß Allah (es) will. Gewiß, Allah ist All wissend und All weise.
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
৩০ তোমাদের ইচ্ছায় কিছুই হয়না, যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা না করেন। অবশ্যি আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞানী ও প্রজ্ঞাময়।

30 And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

٣٠ وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا
Deutsch
31 Er läßt, wen Er will, in Seine Barmherzigkeit eingehen. Und die Ungerechten, für sie hat Er schmerzhafte Strafe bereitet.

৩১ তিনি যাকে চান, নিজের অনুগ্রহের অন্তরভুক্ত করে নেন, কিন্তু যালিমদের কথা ভিন্ন। তাদের জন্যে তো তিনি তৈরি করে রেখেছেন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।

31 He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment.
