Chapter 97, 5 verses
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ
আল্লাহর নামে শুরু করছি, পরম করুণাময় পরম দয়ালু; নিশ্চয়ই আমরা এটি অবতীর্ণ করেছি কদরের রাতে,
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ
এবং তুমি কী জানো কদরের রাত কী?
Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is!
لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
কদরের রাত হাজার মাসের চেয়েও উত্তম,
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
সে রাতে ফেরেশতারা এবং রূহ অবতীর্ণ হয় তাদের প্রতিপালকের অনুমতিতে, সকল বিষয়ে,
The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.
سَلَٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ
শান্তি—ভোর হওয়া পর্যন্ত।
(The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.
