বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তুমি কি তাকে দেখেছ, যে হিসাব-প্রতিদানকে অস্বীকার করে?
Pickthall
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Hast thou observed him who belieth religion ?
Saheeh International
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?

أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সে-ই ইয়াতীমকে কঠোরভাবে তাড়িয়ে দেয়,

That is he who repelleth the orphan,
Saheeh International
For that is the one who drives away the orphan

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর মিসকীনকে খাদ্যদানে উৎসাহ দেয় না।
Pickthall
And urgeth not the feeding of the needy.
Saheeh International
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতএব সেই আদায়কারীদের জন্য দুর্ভোগ,

Ah, woe unto worshippers
Saheeh International
So woe to those who pray

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যারা নিজদের সালাতে অমনোযোগী,

Who are heedless of their prayer;
Saheeh International
[But] who are heedless of their prayer -

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যারা লোক দেখানোর জন্য তা করে,

Who would be seen (at worship)
Saheeh International
Those who make show [of their deeds]

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
এবং ছোট-খাট গৃহসামগ্রী* দানে নিষেধ করে। *ماعون গৃহস্থালীর ছোট-খাট সামগ্রী। যেমন, পানি, লবণ, দিয়াশলাই, বালতি ইত্যাদি।

Yet refuse small kindnesses!
Saheeh International
And withhold [simple] assistance.
