Chapter 10, 109 verses
আলিফ্-লাম-রা। এগুলো প্রজ্ঞাপূর্ণ কিতাবের আয়াত।
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْحَكِيمِ
Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the wise Book.
এটা কি মানুষের জন্য আশ্চর্যের বিষয় যে, আমি তাদের মধ্য থেকে এক ব্যক্তির নিকট ওহী প্রেরণ করেছি যে, তুমি মানুষকে সতর্ক কর এবং মুমিনদেরকে সুসংবাদ প্রদান কর যে, তাদের রবের নিকট তাদের জন্য রয়েছে উচ্চ মর্যাদা। কাফিররা বলে, ‘এ তো স্পষ্ট যাদুকর’।
أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنذِرِ النَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ قَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَاحِرٌ مُّبِينٌ
What! is it a wonder to the people that We revealed to a man from among themselves, saying: Warn the people and give good news to those who believe that theirs is a footing of firmness with their Lord. The unbelievers say: This is most surely a manifest enchanter.
নিশ্চয় তোমাদের রব । যিনি আসমানসমূহ ও যমীন সৃষ্টি করেছেন ছয় দিনে, তারপর আরশে উঠেছেন। তিনি সব বিষয় পরিচালনা করেন। তার অনুমতি ছাড়া সুপারিশ করার কেউ নেই। তিনিই , তোমাদের রব। সুতরাং তোমরা তাঁর ইবাদাত কর। তারপরও কি তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে না?
إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۖ يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ ۖ مَا مِن شَفِيعٍ إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ إِذْنِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and He is firm in power, regulating the affair, there is no intercessor except after His permission; this is Allah, your Lord, therefore serve Him; will you not then mind?
তাঁরই কাছে তোমাদের সকলের প্রত্যাবর্তন। আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। নিশ্চয় তিনি সৃষ্টির সূচনা করেন। তারপর তার পুনরাবর্তন ঘটান। যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে তাদেরকে ইনসাফপূর্ণ প্রতিদান দেয়ার জন্য। আর যারা করেছে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে উত্তপ্ত পানীয় এবং বেদনাদায়ক
إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ إِنَّهُ يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ
To Him is your return, of all (of you); the promise of Allah (made) in truth; surely He begins the creation in the first instance, then He reproduces it, that He may with justice recompense those who believe and do good; and (as for) those who disbelieve, they shall have a drink of hot water and painful punishment because they disbelieved.
তিনিই সূর্যকে করেছেন দীপ্তিময় এবং চাঁদকে আলোময় আর তার জন্য নির্ধারণ করেছেন বিভিন্ন মনযিল, যাতে তোমরা জানতে পার বছরের গণনা এবং (সময়ের) হিসাব। এগুলো অবশ্যই যথার্থভাবে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। জ্ঞানী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্য তিনি আয়াতসমূহ বিস্তারিতভাবে বর্ণনা করেন।
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاءً وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ ۚ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۚ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
He it is Who made the sun a shining brightness and the moon a light, and ordained for it mansions that you might know the computation of years and the reckoning. Allah did not create it but with truth; He makes the signs manifest for a people who know.
নিশ্চয় রাত ও দিবসের বিবর্তনে এবং আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে যা সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তাতে বহু নিদর্শন রয়েছে এমন কওমের জন্য, যারা তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করে।
إِنَّ فِي اخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَّقُونَ
Most surely in the variation of the night and the day, and what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth, there are signs for a people who guard (against evil).
নিশ্চয় যারা আমার সাক্ষাতের আশা রাখে না এবং দুনিয়ার জীবন নিয়ে সন্তুষ্ট আছে ও তা নিয়ে পরিতৃপ্ত রয়েছে। আর যারা আমার নিদর্শনাবলী হতে গাফেল ।
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا وَرَضُوا بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاطْمَأَنُّوا بِهَا وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا غَافِلُونَ
Surely those who do not hope in Our meeting and are pleased with this world's life and are content with it, and those who are heedless of Our communications:
তারা যা উপার্জন করত, তার কারণে আগুনই হবে তাদের ঠিকানা।
أُولَٰئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
(As for) those, their abode is the fire because of what they earned.
নিশ্চয় যারা ঈমান আনে এবং নেক আমল করে, তাদের রব ঈমানের কারণে তাদেরকে পথ দেখাবেন, আরামদায়ক জান্নাতসমূহে যার তলদেশে নহরসমূহ প্রবাহিত।
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِإِيمَانِهِمْ ۖ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, their Lord will guide them by their faith; there shall flow from beneath them rivers in gardens of bliss.
সেখানে তাদের কথা হবে, ‘হে , তুমি পবিত্র মহান’ এবং তাদের অভিবাদন হবে, ‘সালাম’। আর তাদের শেষ কথা হবে যে, ‘সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি সকল সৃষ্টির রব’।
دَعْوَاهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَامٌ ۚ وَآخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Their cry in it shall be: Glory to Thee, O Allah! and their greeting in it shall be: Peace; and the last of their cry shall be: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
আর যদি মানুষের অকল্যাণ (প্রার্থনায় সাড়া দিতে) তাড়াতাড়ি করতেন যেভাবে তিনি তাদের কল্যাণ (প্রার্থনায় সাড়া দিতে) তাড়াতাড়ি করেন, তাহলে অবশ্যই তাদের সময় ফুরিয়ে যেত। সুতরাং যারা আমার সাক্ষাতের আশা রাখে না, আমি তাদেরকে তাদের অবাধ্যতায় দিশেহারা হয়ে ঘুরতে ছে
۞ وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ الشَّرَّ اسْتِعْجَالَهُم بِالْخَيْرِ لَقُضِيَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْ ۖ فَنَذَرُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
And if Allah should hasten the evil to men as they desire the hastening on of good, their doom should certainly have been decreed for them; but We leave those alone who hope not for Our meeting in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.
আর যখন মানুষকে বিপদ স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে শুয়ে, বসে বা দাঁড়িয়ে আমাকে ডাকে। অতঃপর আমি যখন তার বিপদ দূর করে দেই, তখন সে এমনভাবে চলতে থাকে মনে হয় যেন তাকে কোন বিপদ স্পর্শ করার কারণে সে আমাকে ডাকেনি। এভাবেই সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীদের জন্য তারা যা আমল করত তা শোভিত করে দেয়া
وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنبِهِ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَائِمًا فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمْ يَدْعُنَا إِلَىٰ ضُرٍّ مَّسَّهُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
And when affliction touches a man, he calls on Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We remove his affliction from him, he passes on as though he had never called on Us on account of an affliction that touched him; thus that which they do is made fair - seeming to the extravagant.
আর অবশ্যই আমি তোমাদের পূর্বে বহু প্রজন্মকে ধ্বংস করেছি, যখন তারা যুলম করেছে। আর তাদের নিকট তাদের রাসূলগণ প্রমাণাদিসহ আগমন করেছিল, কিন্তু তারা ঈমান আনার ছিল না। এভাবে আমি অপরাধী কওমকে শাস্তি প্রদান করি।
وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا الْقُرُونَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا ۙ وَجَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
And certainly We did destroy generations before you when they were unjust, and their apostles had come to them with clear arguments, and they would not believe; thus do We recompense the guilty people.
তারপর আমি তোমাদেরকে যমীনে তাদের পরে স্থলাভিষিক্ত করেছি, যাতে আমি দেখি তোমরা কেমন আমল কর।
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لِنَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ
Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may see how you act.
আর যখন তাদের সামনে আমার আয়াতসমূহ সুস্পষ্টরূপে পাঠ করা হয়, তখন, যারা আমার সাক্ষাতের আশা রাখে না, তারা বলে, ‘এটি ছাড়া অন্য কুরআন নিয়ে এসো। অথবা একে বদলাও’। বল, ‘আমার নিজের পক্ষ থেকে এতে কোন পরিবর্তনের অধিকার নেই। আমিতো শুধু আমার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ ওহীর অনুসরণ কর
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ ۙ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَيْرِ هَٰذَا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ ۚ قُلْ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِي ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ ۖ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ
And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who hope not for Our meeting say: Bring a Quran other than this or change it. Say: It does not beseem me that I should change it of myself; I follow naught but what is revealed to me; surely I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the punishment of a mighty day.
বল, ‘যদি চাইতেন, আমি তোমাদের উপর তা পাঠ করতাম না। আর তিনি তোমাদেরকে এ সম্পর্কে অবহিত করতেন না। কেননা, ইতঃপূর্বে আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে দীর্ঘ জীবন অতিবাহিত করেছি। তবে কি তোমরা বুঝ না’?
قُل لَّوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا أَدْرَاكُم بِهِ ۖ فَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيكُمْ عُمُرًا مِّن قَبْلِهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Say: If Allah had desired (otherwise) I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have taught it to you; indeed I have lived a lifetime among you before it; do you not then understand?
অতএব যে আল্লাহর উপর মিথ্যা রটনা করে অথবা তাঁর আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে, তার চেয়ে বড় যালিম কে ? নিশ্চয় অপরাধীরা সফল হবে না।
فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
Who is then more unjust than who forges a lie against Allah or (who) gives the lie to His communications? Surely the guilty shall not be .
আর তারা ছাড়া এমন কিছুর ইবাদত করছে, যা তাদের ক্ষতি করতে পারে না এবং উপকারও করতে পারে না। আর তারা বলে, ‘এরা আল্লাহর নিকট আমাদের সুপারিশকারী’। বল, ‘তোমরা কি আল্লাহকে আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে থাকা এমন বিষয়ে সংবাদ দিচ্ছ যা তিনি অবগত নন’? তিনি পবিত্র মহান এবং ত
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ هَٰؤُلَاءِ شُفَعَاؤُنَا عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ قُلْ أَتُنَبِّئُونَ اللَّهَ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
And they serve beside Allah what can neither harm them nor profit them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you (presume to) inform Allah of what He knows not in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and supremely exalted is He above what they set up (with Him).
আর মানুষ তো এক উম্মতই ছিল। পরে তারা বিভক্ত হয়ে পড়ল। আর তোমার রবের পক্ষ থেকে বাণী বিগত না হলে তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা হয়ে যেত, যা নিয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করে।
وَمَا كَانَ النَّاسُ إِلَّا أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَاخْتَلَفُوا ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِيمَا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
And people are naught but a single nation, so they disagree; and had not a word already gone forth from your Lord, the matter would have certainly been decided between them in respect of that concerning which they disagree.
আর তারা বলে, ‘তাঁর রবের পক্ষ থেকে তার উপর কোন নিদর্শন কেন নাযিল করা হয় না’? বল, ‘গায়েবের জ্ঞান তো কেবল আল্লাহরই। অতএব তোমরা অপেক্ষা কর, আমিও তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষায় রয়েছি’।
وَيَقُولُونَ لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ ۖ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا الْغَيْبُ لِلَّهِ فَانتَظِرُوا إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ
And they say: Why is not a sign sent to him from his Lord? Say: The unseen is only for Allah; therefore wait - - surely I too, with you am of those who wait.
আর যখন আমি মানুষকে দুঃখ-দুর্দশা স্পর্শ করার পর রহমতের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করাই, তখন তারা আমার আয়াতসমূহের ব্যাপারে কূট-কৌশলের আশ্রয় নেয়। বল, ‘ কৌশলকারী হিসেবে অধিক দ্রুত’। নিশ্চয় আমার ফেরেশতারা তোমাদের কুট-কৌশল লিখে রাখে।
وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً مِّن بَعْدِ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُمْ إِذَا لَهُم مَّكْرٌ فِي آيَاتِنَا ۚ قُلِ اللَّهُ أَسْرَعُ مَكْرًا ۚ إِنَّ رُسُلَنَا يَكْتُبُونَ مَا تَمْكُرُونَ
And when We make people taste of mercy after an affliction touches them, lo! they devise plans against Our communication. Say: Allah is quicker to plan; surely Our apostles write down what you plan.
তিনিই তোমাদেরকে স্থলে ও সমুদ্রে ভ্রমণ করান। এমনকি যখন তোমরা নৌকায় থাক, আর তা তাদেরকে নিয়ে চলতে থাকে অনুকুল হাওয়ায় এবং তারা তা নিয়ে আনন্দিত হয়, (এ সময়) তাকে পেয়ে বসে ঝড়ো হাওয়া, আর চারদিক থেকে ধেয়ে আসে তরঙ্গ এবং তাদের নিশ্চিত ধারণা হয় যে, তাদেরকে পরিবেষ্টন
هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُوا بِهَا جَاءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ ۙ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ
He it is Who makes you travel by land and sea; until when you are in the ships, and they sail on with them in a pleasant breeze, and they rejoice, a violent wind overtakes them and the billows surge in on them from all sides, and they become certain that they are encompassed about, they pray to Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience: If Thou dost deliver us from this, we will most certainly be of the grateful ones.
অতঃপর যখন তিনি তাদেরকে নাজাত দেন, তখন তারা অন্যায়ভাবে যমীনে সীমালঙ্ঘন করে। হে মানুষ, তোমাদের সীমালঙ্ঘন তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধেই, এ সব কিছু দুনিয়ার ভোগ। অতঃপর আমার নিকটই তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। সুতরাং তখন আমি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের কৃতকর্ম সম্পর্কে জানাব।
فَلَمَّا أَنجَاهُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ۗ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِكُم ۖ مَّتَاعَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
But when He delivers them, lo! they are unjustly rebellious in the earth. O men! your rebellion is against your own souls - - provision (only) of this world's life - - then to Us shall be your return, so We will inform you of what you did.
নিশ্চয় দুনিয়ার জীবনের তুলনা তো পানির ন্যায় যা আমি আকাশ থেকে নাযিল করি, অতঃপর তার সাথে যমীনের উদ্ভিদের মিশ্রণ ঘটে, যা মানুষ ও চতুষ্পদ জন্তু ভোগ করে। অবশেষে যখন যমীন শোভিত ও সজ্জিত হয় এবং তার অধিবাসীরা মনে করে যমীনে উৎপন্ন ফসল করায়ত্ব করতে তারা সক্ষম, তখন ত
إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ نَبَاتُ الْأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالْأَنْعَامُ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَخَذَتِ الْأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَا أَنَّهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَيْهَا أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِالْأَمْسِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
The likeness of this world's life is only as water which We send down from the cloud, then the herbage of the earth of which men and cattle eat grows luxuriantly thereby, until when the earth puts on its golden raiment and it becomes garnished, and its people think that they have power over it, Our command comes to it, by night or by day, so We render it as reaped seed; produce, as though it had not been in existence yesterday; thus do We make clear the communications for a people who reflect.
আর শান্তির আবাসের দিকে আহবান করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা হিদায়াত দেন সরল পথের দিকে।
وَاللَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَىٰ دَارِ السَّلَامِ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
And Allah invites to the abode of peace and guides whom He pleases into the right path.
যারা ভালো কাজ করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে শুভ পরিণাম (জান্নাত) এবং আরও বেশি। আর ধূলোমলিনতা ও লাঞ্ছনা তাদের চেহারাগুলোকে আচ্ছন্ন করবে না। তারাই জান্নাতবাসী। তারা তাতে স্থায়ী হবে।
۞ لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا الْحُسْنَىٰ وَزِيَادَةٌ ۖ وَلَا يَرْهَقُ وُجُوهَهُمْ قَتَرٌ وَلَا ذِلَّةٌ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
For those who do good is good (reward) and more (than this); and blackness or ignominy shall not cover their faces; these are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide.
আর যারা মন্দ উপার্জন করবে, প্রতিটি মন্দের প্রতিদান হবে তারই অনুরূপ; আর লাঞ্ছনা তাদেরকে আচ্ছন্ন করবে। আল্লাহর পাকড়াও থেকে তাদের কোন রক্ষাকারী নেই। যেন অন্ধকার রাতের এক অংশ দিয়ে তাদের চেহারাগুলো ঢেকে দেয়া হয়েছে। তারাই আগুনের অধিবাসী, তারা তাতে স্থায়ী হবে।
وَالَّذِينَ كَسَبُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ جَزَاءُ سَيِّئَةٍ بِمِثْلِهَا وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۖ مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ ۖ كَأَنَّمَا أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ قِطَعًا مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ مُظْلِمًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
And (as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment of an evil is the like of it, and abasement shall come upon them - - they shall have none to protect them from Allah - - as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.
আর যেদিন আমি তাদের সকলকে একত্র করব, অতঃপর যারা শিরক করেছে, তাদেরকে বলব, ‘থাম, তোমরা ও তোমাদের শরীকরা’। অতঃপর আমি তাদের মধ্যে বিচ্ছেদ ঘটাব। আর তাদের শরীকরা’ বলবে, ‘তোমরা তো আমাদের ইবাদাত করতে না’।
وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا مَكَانَكُمْ أَنتُمْ وَشُرَكَاؤُكُمْ ۚ فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ شُرَكَاؤُهُم مَّا كُنتُمْ إِيَّانَا تَعْبُدُونَ
And on the day when We will gather them all together, then We will say to those who associated others (with Allah): Keep where you are, you and your associates; then We shall separate them widely one from another and their associates would say: It was not us that you served:
‘সুতরাং আল্লাহই আমাদের ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সাক্ষী হিসেবে যথেষ্ট। আমরা নিশ্চয় তোমাদের ইবাদাত সম্পর্কে গাফেল ছিলাম’।
فَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِن كُنَّا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَافِلِينَ
Therefore Allah is sufficient as a witness between us and you that we were quite unaware of your serving (us).
এখানে প্রত্যেকে ইতিপূর্বে যা করেছে, সে সম্পর্কে জানতে পারবে। আর তাদেরকে তাদের প্রকৃত অভিভাবক আল্লাহর কাছে ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হবে এবং তারা যা মিথ্যা রটাতো তা তাদের থেকে হারিয়ে যাবে।
هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُو كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا أَسْلَفَتْ ۚ وَرُدُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ مَوْلَاهُمُ الْحَقِّ ۖ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
There shall every soul become acquainted with what it sent before, and they shall be brought back to Allah, their true Patron, and what they devised shall escape from them.
বল, ‘আসমান ও যমীন থেকে কে তোমাদের রিয্ক দেন? অথবা কে (তোমাদের) শ্রবণ ও দৃষ্টিসমূহের মালিক? আর কে মৃত থেকে জীবিতকে বের করেন আর জীবিত থেকে মৃতকে বের করেন? কে সব বিষয় পরিচালনা করেন’? তখন তারা অবশ্যই বলবে, ‘’। সুতরাং, তুমি বল, ‘তারপরও কি তোমরা তাকওয়া অব
قُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَمَّن يَمْلِكُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَمَن يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَمَن يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ ۚ فَسَيَقُولُونَ اللَّهُ ۚ فَقُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
Say: Who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth? Or Who controls the hearing and the sight? And Who brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living? And Who regulates the affairs? Then they will say: Allah. Say then: Will you not then guard (against evil)?
অতএব, তিনিই , তোমাদের প্রকৃত রব। অতঃপর সত্যের পর ভ্রষ্টতা ছাড়া কী থাকে? অতএব কোথায় তোমাদেরকে ঘুরানো হচ্ছে?
فَذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمُ الْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَاذَا بَعْدَ الْحَقِّ إِلَّا الضَّلَالُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصْرَفُونَ
This then is Allah, your true Lord; and what is there after the truth but error; how are you then turned back?
এমনিভাবে তোমার রবের বাণী সত্য বলে সাব্যস্ত হয়েছে তাদের উপর, যারা অবাধ্য হয়েছে, যে তারা ঈমান আনবে না।
كَذَٰلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا أَنَّهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Thus does the word of your Lord prove true against those who transgress that they do not believe.
বল, ‘তোমাদের শরীকদের কেউ কি আছে, যে প্রথম সৃষ্টি করবে, অতঃপর তার পুনরাবৃত্তি ঘটাবে’? বল, ‘আল্লাহই প্রথম সৃষ্টি করেন অতঃপর তার পুনরাবৃত্তি ঘটান’। অতএব তোমাদেরকে কোথায় ফিরানো হচ্ছে?
قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَائِكُم مَّن يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ ۚ قُلِ اللَّهُ يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ
Say: Is there any one among your associates who can bring into existence the creation in the first instance, then reproduce it? Say: Allah brings the creation into existence, then He reproduces it; how are you then turned away?
বল, ‘তোমাদের শরীকদের কেউ কি আছে, যে সত্যের পথ দেখাবে’? বল, ‘আল্লাহই সত্যের পথ দেখান। যিনি সত্যের পথ দেখান, তিনিই কি অনুসরণ করার অধিক হকদার, নাকি সে, যে পথ দেখানো ছাড়া পথ পায় না। সুতরাং তোমাদের কী হল? তোমরা কেমন বিচার করছ’।
قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَائِكُم مَّن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ ۚ قُلِ اللَّهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ ۗ أَفَمَن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لَّا يَهِدِّي إِلَّا أَن يُهْدَىٰ ۖ فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
Say: Is there any of your associates who guides to the truth? Say: Allah guides to the truth. Is He then Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who himself does not go aright unless he is guided? What then is the matter with you; how do you judge?
আর তাদের অধিকাংশ কেবল ধারণার অনুসরণ করে। নিশ্চয় সত্যের বিপরীতে ধারণা কোন কার্যকারিতা রাখে না । নিশ্চয় তারা যা করে সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত।
وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلَّا ظَنًّا ۚ إِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ
And most of them do not follow (anything) but conjecture; surely conjecture will not avail aught against the truth; surely Allah is cognizant of what they do.
এ কুরআন তো এমন নয় যে, ছাড়া কেউ তা রচনা করতে পারবে; বরং এটি যা তার সামনে রয়েছে, তার সত্যায়ন এবং কিতাবের বিস্তারিত ব্যাখ্যা, যাতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই, যা সৃষ্টিকুলের রবের পক্ষ থেকে।
وَمَا كَانَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ أَن يُفْتَرَىٰ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
And this Quran is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of that which is before it and a clear explanation of the book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the worlds.
নাকি তারা বলে, ‘সে তা বানিয়েছে’? বল, ‘তবে তোমরা তার মত একটি সূরা (বানিয়ে) নিয়ে আস এবং ছাড়া যাকে পারো ডাক, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও’।
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِسُورَةٍ مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُوا مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Or do they say: He has forged it? Say: Then bring a chapter like this and invite whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.
বরং তারা যে ব্যাপারে পূর্ণ জ্ঞান লাভ করেনি, তা তারা অস্বীকার করেছে এবং এখনও তার পরিণতি তাদের কাছে আসেনি। এভাবেই তারা অস্বীকার করেছিল, যারা ছিল তাদের পূর্বে। সুতরাং তুমি লক্ষ্য কর, কেমন ছিল যালিমদের পরিণাম।
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُوا بِعِلْمِهِ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ
Nay, they reject that of which they have no comprehensive knowledge, and the final sequel of it has not yet come to them; even thus did those before them reject (the truth); see then what was the end of the unjust.
আর তাদের মধ্যে কেউ এর প্রতি ঈমান আনে এবং কেউ তাতে ঈমান আনে না। আর তোমার রব ফাসাদকারীদের ব্যাপারে অধিক জ্ঞাত।
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ ۚ وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُفْسِدِينَ
And of them is he who believes in it, and of them is he who does not believe in it, and your Lord best knows the mischief - makers.
আর তারা যদি তোমাকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলে, তবে তুমি বল, ‘আমার কর্ম আমার, আর তোমাদের কর্ম তোমাদের। আমি যা আমল করি তোমরা তা থেকে মুক্ত এবং তোমরা যা আমল কর আমি তা থেকে মুক্ত’।
وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ ۖ أَنتُم بَرِيئُونَ مِمَّا أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
And if they call you a liar, say: My work is for me and your work for you; you are clear of what I do and I am clear of what you do.
আর তাদের মধ্যে কিছু আছে, যারা তোমার প্রতি মনোযোগ দিয়ে শুনে। তবে কি তুমি বধিরকে শোনাবে, তারা না বুঝলেও?
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُوا لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
And there are those of them who hear you, but can you make the deaf to hear though they will not understand?
আর তাদের মধ্যে কেউ আছে এমন, যে তোমার দিকে তাকায়। তবে কি তুমি অন্ধকে পথ দেখাবে, তারা না দেখলেও?
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنظُرُ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
And there are those of them who look at you, but can you show the way to the blind though they will not see?
নিশ্চয় মানুষের প্রতি কিছুমাত্র যুলম করেন না; বরং মানুষই নিজদের উপর যুলম করে।
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا وَلَٰكِنَّ النَّاسَ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Surely Allah does not do any injustice to men, but men are unjust to themselves.
আর যেদিন তিনি তাদেরকে একত্র করবেন, যেন তারা দিবসের মুহূর্তকালমাত্র অবস্থান করেছে। তারা একে অপরকে চিনতে পারবে। তারা অবশ্যই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে, যারা আল্লাহর সাক্ষাৎ অস্বীকার করেছে, আর তারা হিদায়াতপ্রাপ্ত ছিল না।
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ النَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانُوا مُهْتَدِينَ
And on the day when He will gather them as though they had not stayed but an hour of the day, they will know each other. They will perish indeed who called the meeting with Allah to be a lie, and they are not followers of the right direction.
আর আমি তাদেরকে যে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছি, তার কিছু যদি তোমাকে দেখিয়ে দেই, অথবা তোমাকে মৃত্যু দেই, তবে আমার কাছেই তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। তারপর তারা যা করে তার সাক্ষী।
وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ
And if We show you something of what We threaten them with, or cause you to die, yet to Us is their return, and Allah is the bearer of witness to what they do.
আর প্রত্যেক উম্মতের জন্য রয়েছে রাসূল। তারপর যখন তাদের রাসূল আসে, তাদের মধ্যে তখন ন্যায়ভিত্তিক ফয়সালা করা হয় এবং তাদের যুলম করা হয় না।
وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولٌ ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ رَسُولُهُمْ قُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
And every nation had an apostle; so when their apostle came, the matter was decided between them with justice and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.
আর তারা বলে, ‘কখন এই প্রতিশ্রুতি (পূর্ণ হবে), যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও’?
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
And they say: When will this threat come about, if you are truthful?
বল, ‘আমি নিজের ক্ষতি বা উপকারের অধিকার রাখি না, তবে যা ইচ্ছা করেন’। প্রত্যেক উম্মতের রয়েছে নির্দিষ্ট একটি সময়। যখন এসে যায় তাদের সময়, তখন এক মুহূর্ত পিছাতে পারে না এবং এগোতেও পারে না।
قُل لَّا أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۗ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ ۚ إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
Say: I do not control for myself any harm, or any benefit except what Allah pleases; every nation has a term; when their term comes, they shall not then remain behind for an hour, nor can they go before (their time).
বল, ‘তোমাদের কি মনে হয় যে, যদি তোমাদের নিকট তাঁর আযাব রাতে কিংবা দিনে এসে পড়ে, তবে অপরাধীরা তার কোন্ অংশটি তাড়াতাড়ি চায়’?
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُهُ بَيَاتًا أَوْ نَهَارًا مَّاذَا يَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
Say: Tell me if His punishment overtakes you by night or by day! what then is there of it that the guilty would hasten on?
তবে কি যখন তা ঘটবে, তখন তোমরা তাতে ঈমান আনবে? এখন? অথচ তোমরা এর জন্যই তাড়াহুড়া করতে।
أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ آمَنتُم بِهِ ۚ آلْآنَ وَقَدْ كُنتُم بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
And when it comes to pass, will you believe in it? What! now (you believe), and already you wished to have it hastened on.
তারপর যারা যুলম করেছে তাদের বলা হবে, স্থায়ী আযাব আস্বাদন কর। তোমরা যা অর্জন করতে তোমাদেরকে কেবল তারই প্রতিদান দেয়া হচ্ছে।
ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
Then it shall be said to those who were unjust: Taste abiding chastisement; you are not requited except for what you earned.
আর তারা তোমার কাছে জানতে চায়, ‘তা কি সত্য’? বল, ‘হ্যাঁ, আমার রবের কসম! নিশ্চয় তা সত্য এবং তোমরা পরাস্তকারী নও’।
۞ وَيَسْتَنبِئُونَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ ۖ قُلْ إِي وَرَبِّي إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ ۖ وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
And they ask you: Is that true? Say: Aye! by my Lord! it is most surely the truth, and you will not escape.
আর যমীনে যা রয়েছে, তা যদি যুলম করেছে এমন প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তির হয়ে যায়, তবে তা সে মুক্তিপণ হিসেবে দিয়ে দেবে এবং তারা লজ্জা গোপন করবে, যখন তারা আযাব দেখবে। আর তাদের মধ্যে ন্যায়ভিত্তিক ফয়সালা করা হবে এবং তাদেরকে যুলম করা হবে না।
وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لَافْتَدَتْ بِهِ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ ۖ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
And if every soul that has done injustice had all that is in the earth, it would offer it for ransom, and they will manifest regret when they see the chastisement and the matter shall be decided between them with justice and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.
জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে যা আছে, তা আল্লাহরই। জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
أَلَا إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Now surely Allah's is what is in the heavens and the earth; now surely Allah's promise is true, but most of them do not know.
তিনিই জীবন দান করেন এবং মৃত্যু ঘটান এবং তাঁর কাছেই তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন হবে।
هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
He gives life and causes death, and to Him you shall be brought back.
হে মানুষ, তোমাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের কাছে এসেছে উপদেশ এবং অন্তরসমূহে যা থাকে তার শিফা, আর মুমিনদের জন্য হিদায়াত ও রহমত।
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
O men! there has come to you indeed an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in the breasts and a guidance and a mercy for the believers.
বল, ‘আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও রহমতে। সুতরাং এ নিয়েই যেন তারা খুশি হয়’। এটি যা তারা জমা করে তা থেকে উত্তম।
قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
Say: In the grace of Allah and in His mercy - - in that they should rejoice; it is better than that which they gather.
বল, ‘তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখেছ, তোমাদের জন্য যে রিয্ক নাযিল করেছেন, পরে তোমরা তার কিছু বানিয়েছ হারাম ও হালাল’। বল, ‘ কি তোমাদেরকে অনুমতি দিয়েছেন, নাকি আল্লাহর উপর তোমরা মিথ্যা রটাচ্ছ’?
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ فَجَعَلْتُم مِّنْهُ حَرَامًا وَحَلَالًا قُلْ آللَّهُ أَذِنَ لَكُمْ ۖ أَمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَفْتَرُونَ
Say: Tell me what Allah has sent down for you of sustenance, then you make (a part) of it unlawful and (a part) lawful. Say: Has Allah commanded you, or do you forge a lie against Allah?
আর যারা আল্লাহর নামে মিথ্যা রটাচ্ছে, তাদের কী ধারণা, কিয়ামতের দিন (তাদের পরিণতি) সম্পর্কে? নিশ্চয় মানুষের উপর অনুগ্রহশীল; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশ শোকর করে না।
وَمَا ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
And what will be the thought of those who forge lies against Allah on the day of resurrection? Most surely Allah is the Lord of grace towards men, but most of them do not give thanks.
আর তুমি যে অবস্থাতেই থাক না কেন আর যা কিছু তিলাওয়াত কর না কেন আল্লাহর পক্ষ হতে কুরআন থেকে এবং তোমরা যে আমলই কর না কেন, আমি তোমাদের উপর সাক্ষী থাকি, যখন তোমরা তাতে নিমগ্ন হও। তোমার রব থেকে গোপন থাকে না যমীনের বা আসমানের অণু পরিমাণ কিছুই এবং তা থেকে ছোট বা
وَمَا تَكُونُ فِي شَأْنٍ وَمَا تَتْلُو مِنْهُ مِن قُرْآنٍ وَلَا تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُودًا إِذْ تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَلَا أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرَ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ
And you are not (engaged) in any affair, nor do you recite concerning it any portion of the Quran, nor do you do any work but We are witnesses over you when you enter into it, and there does not lie concealed from your Lord the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven, nor any thing less than that nor greater, but it is in a clear book.
শুনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর বন্ধুদের কোন ভয় নেই, আর তারা পেরেশানও হবে না।
أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Now surely the friends of Allah - - they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করত।
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ
Those who believe and guarded (against evil):
তাদের জন্যই সুসংবাদ দুনিয়াবী জীবনে এবং আখিরাতে। আল্লাহর বাণীসমূহের কোন পরিবর্তন নেই। এটিই মহাসফলতা।
لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَىٰ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
They shall have good news in this world's life and in the hereafter; there is no changing the words of Allah; that is the mighty achievement.
আর তাদের কথা যেন তোমাকে দুঃখ না দেয়। নিশ্চয় সকল মর্যাদা আল্লাহর। তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞানী।
وَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا ۚ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
And let not their speech grieve you; surely might is wholly Allah's; He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
জেনে রাখ, নিশ্চয় আসমানসমূহে যারা আছে এবং যমীনে যারা আছে সব আল্লাহরই এবং যারা ছাড়া অন্যদের ডাকে, তারা মূলত শরীকদের অনুসরণ করে না, তারা তো কেবল ধারণার অনুসরণ করে। তারা তো শুধু মিথ্যাই বলে।
أَلَا إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
Now, surely, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and they do not (really) follow any associates, who call on others besides Allah; they do not follow (anything) but conjectures, and they only lie.
তিনিই সে সত্তা, যিনি তোমাদের জন্য রাতকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, যেন তোমরা তাতে বিশ্রাম নাও এবং দিনকে করেছেন আলোকময়। নিশ্চয় এতে রয়েছে নিদর্শনাবলি এমন কওমের জন্য যারা শুনে।
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
He it is Who made for you the night that you might rest in it, and the day giving light; most surely there are signs in it for a people who would hear.
তারা বলে, ‘ সন্তান গ্রহণ করেছেন’। তিনি পবিত্র মহান। তিনি অমুখাপেক্ষী। আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে যা রয়েছে তা তাঁরই। তোমাদের কাছে এ ব্যাপারে কোন প্রমাণ নেই। তোমরা কি আল্লাহর উপর এমন কিছু বলছ, যা তোমরা জান না?
قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَانَهُ ۖ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ ۖ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بِهَٰذَا ۚ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
They say: Allah has taken a son (to Himself)! Glory be to Him: He is the Self - sufficient: His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; you have no authority for this; do you say against Allah what you do not know?
বল, ‘নিশ্চয় যারা আল্লাহর নামে মিথ্যা রটায়, তারা সফল হবে না’।
قُلْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ
Say: Those who forge a lie against Allah shall not be .
(তাদের জন্য) দুনিয়াতে রয়েছে ভোগসামগ্রী। অতঃপর আমারই কাছে তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন। তারপর আমি তাদেরকে কঠিন আযাব আস্বাদন করাব, তারা যে করত তার কারণে ।
مَتَاعٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ الْعَذَابَ الشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ
(It is only) a provision in this world, then to Us shall be their return; then We shall make them taste severe punishment because they disbelieved.
আর তাদেরকে নূহের সংবাদ পড়ে শুনাও, যখন সে তার কওমকে বলল, ‘হে আমার কওম, আমার অবস্থান এবং আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহের মাধ্যমে আমার উপদেশ দান যদি তোমাদের কাছে ভারী মনে হয়, তবে আমি আল্লাহর উপরই তাওয়াক্কুল করলাম। সুতরাং তোমরা অভিন্ন সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ কর এবং (সাথে নাও) তোম
۞ وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِي وَتَذْكِيرِي بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَعَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُوا أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَاءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُوا إِلَيَّ وَلَا تُنظِرُونِ
And recite to them the story of Nuh when he said to his people: O my people! if my stay and my reminding (you) by the communications of Allah is hard on you - - yet on Allah do I rely - - then resolve upon your affair and (gather) your associates, then let not your affair remain dubious to you, then have it executed against me and give me no respite:
‘অতঃপর তোমরা যদি বিমুখ হও, তবে আমি তোমাদের কাছে কোন প্রতিদান চাই না। আমার প্রতিদান তো কেবল আল্লাহর দায়িত্বে। আর আমি আদিষ্ট হয়েছি মুসলিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হওয়ার’।
فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
But if you turn back, I did not ask for any reward from you; my reward is only with Allah, and I am commanded that I should be of those who submit.
অতঃপর তারা তাকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলল। তাই আমি তাকে ও নৌকাতে যারা তার সাথে ছিল তাদেরকে নাজাত দিলাম এবং আমি তাদেরকে করেছি স্থলাভিষিক্ত। আর ডুবিয়ে দিলাম তাদেরকে, যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করেছে। অতএব দেখ, কেমন ছিল তাদের পরিণতি যাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে।
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ خَلَائِفَ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا ۖ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ
But they rejected him, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We made them rulers and drowned those who rejected Our communications; see then what was the end of the (people) warned.
অতঃপর আমি তাঁর পরে অনেক রাসূলকে তাদের কওমের নিকট পাঠিয়েছি এবং তারা তাদের নিকট সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদি নিয়ে এসেছিল; কিন্তু তারা ইতঃপূর্বে অস্বীকার করার কারণে ঈমান আনার ছিল না। এমনিভাবে আমি সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীদের অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেই।
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاءُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا بِمَا كَذَّبُوا بِهِ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ الْمُعْتَدِينَ
Then did We raise up after him apostles to their people, so they came to them with clear arguments, but they would not believe in what they had rejected before; thus it is that We set seals upon the hearts of those who exceed the limits.
অতঃপর তাদের পরে আমি মূসা ও হারূনকে ফিরআউন ও তার পারিষদবর্গের কাছে আমার আয়াতসমূহ দিয়ে পাঠিয়েছি। কিন্তু তারা অহঙ্কার করেছে। আর তারা ছিল অপরাধী কওম।
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِم مُّوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ بِآيَاتِنَا فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ
Then did We send up after them Musa and Haroun to Firon and his chiefs with Our signs, but they showed pride and they were a guilty people.
অতঃপর যখন তাদের কাছে আমার পক্ষ থেকে সত্য এল, তারা বলল, ‘নিশ্চয় এটি সুস্পষ্ট যাদু’।
فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
So when the truth came to them from Us they said: This is most surely clear enchantment!
মূসা বলল, ‘তোমরা কি সত্যকে এ রকম (যাদু) বলছ, যখন তা তোমাদের কাছে এল? এ কি যাদু? অথচ যাদুকররা সফল হয় না’।
قَالَ مُوسَىٰ أَتَقُولُونَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَكُمْ ۖ أَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَا وَلَا يُفْلِحُ السَّاحِرُونَ
Musa said: Do you say (this) of the truth when it has come to you? Is it magic? And the magicians are not .
তারা বলল, ‘তুমি কি এসেছ আমরা আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে যাতে পেয়েছি তা থেকে আমাদেরকে ফেরাতে এবং যেন যমীনে তোমাদের প্রতিপত্তি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়? আর আমরা তো তোমাদের প্রতি নই’।
قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
They said: Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers upon, and (that) greatness in the land should be for you two? And we are not going to believe in you.
এবং ফির‘আউন বলল, ‘তোমরা প্রত্যেক বিজ্ঞ যাদুকরদেরকে আমার কাছে নিয়ে আস’।
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ائْتُونِي بِكُلِّ سَاحِرٍ عَلِيمٍ
And Firon said: Bring to me every skillful magician.
অতঃপর যখন যাদুকররা এল, মূসা তাদেরকে বলল, ‘তোমরা যা ফেলবার ফেল’।
فَلَمَّا جَاءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ أَلْقُوا مَا أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ
And when the magicians came, Musa said to them: Cast down what you have to cast.
অতঃপর যখন তারা (তাদের রশি ও লাঠি) ফেলল, তখন মূসা বলল, ‘তোমরা যা আনলে, তা যাদু। নিশ্চয় তা বাতিল করে দেবেন। নিশ্চয় ফাসাদকারীদের আমল পরিশুদ্ধ করেন না’।
فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْا قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ السِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
So when they cast down, Musa said to them: What you have brought is deception; surely Allah will make it naught; surely Allah does not make the work of mischief - makers to thrive.
আর তাঁর বাণীসমূহের মাধ্যমে সত্যকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেন, যদিও অপরাধীরা তা অপছন্দ করে।
وَيُحِقُّ اللَّهُ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
And Allah will show the truth to be the truth by His words, though the guilty may be averse (to it).
বস্তুতঃ মূসার প্রতি তার স্বগোত্রীয় লোকদের মধ্যে (প্রথমে) শুধু অল্প সংখ্যক লোকই ঈমান আনল, তাও ফির‘আউন ও তার প্রধানবর্গের এই ভয়ে যে, তারা তাদেরকে নির্যাতন করে; আর বাস্তবিক পক্ষে ফির‘আউন সেই দেশে (রাজ্য) ক্ষমতা রাখত, আর এটাও ছিল যে, সে (ন্যায়ের) সীমাতিক্রম ক
فَمَا آمَنَ لِمُوسَىٰ إِلَّا ذُرِّيَّةٌ مِّن قَوْمِهِ عَلَىٰ خَوْفٍ مِّن فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِمْ أَن يَفْتِنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ لَعَالٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ
But none believed in Musa except the offspring of his people, on account of the fear of Firon and their chiefs, lest he should persecute them; and most surely Firon was lofty in the land; and most surely he was of the extravagant.
আর মূসা বলল, ‘হে আমার কওম, তোমরা যদি আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান এনে থাক, তবে তাঁরই উপর তাওয়াক্কুল কর, যদি তোমরা মুসলিম হয়ে থাক’।
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ يَا قَوْمِ إِن كُنتُمْ آمَنتُم بِاللَّهِ فَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلُوا إِن كُنتُم مُّسْلِمِينَ
And Musa said: O my people! if you believe in Allah, then rely on Him (alone) if you submit (to Allah).
তখন তারা বলল, ‘আমরা আল্লাহর উপরই তাওয়াক্কুল করলাম। হে আমাদের রব, আপনি আমাদেরকে যালিম কওমের ফিতনার পাত্র বানাবেন না’।
فَقَالُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
So they said: On Allah we rely: O our Lord! make us not subject to the persecution of the unjust people:
‘আর আমাদেরকে আপনার অনুগ্রহে কওম থেকে নাজাত দিন’।
وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
And do Thou deliver us by Thy mercy from the unbelieving people.
আর আমি মূসা ও তার ভাইয়ের কাছে ওহী পাঠালাম যে, ‘তোমরা তোমাদের কওমের জন্য মিসরে গৃহ তৈরী কর এবং তোমাদের গৃহগুলোকে কিবলা বানাও আর কায়েম কর এবং মুমিনদের সুসংবাদ দাও’।
وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَأَخِيهِ أَن تَبَوَّآ لِقَوْمِكُمَا بِمِصْرَ بُيُوتًا وَاجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ قِبْلَةً وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And We revealed to Musa and his brother, saying: Take for your people houses to abide in Egypt and make your houses places of worship and keep up prayer and give good news to the believers.
আর মূসা বলল, ‘হে আমাদের রব, আপনি ফির‘আউন ও তার পারিষদবর্গকে দুনিয়াবী জীবনে সৌন্দর্য ও ধন-সম্পদ দান করেছেন। হে আমাদের রব, যাতে তারা আপনার পথ থেকে গোমরাহ করতে পারে। হে আমাদের রব, তাদের ধন-সম্পদ নিশ্চিহ্ন করে দিন, তাদের অন্তরসমূহকে কঠোর করে দিন। ফলে তারা ঈম
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالًا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا عَن سَبِيلِكَ ۖ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَىٰ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ
And Musa said: Our Lord! surely Thou hast given to Firon and his chiefs finery and riches in this world's life, to this end, our Lord, that they lead (people) astray from Thy way: Our Lord! destroy their riches and harden their hearts so that they believe not until they see the painful punishment.
তিনি বললেন, ‘তোমাদের দো‘আ কবূল করা হয়েছে। সুতরাং তোমরা দৃঢ় থাক এবং যারা জানে না তাদের পথ অনুসরণ করো না’।
قَالَ قَدْ أُجِيبَت دَّعْوَتُكُمَا فَاسْتَقِيمَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعَانِّ سَبِيلَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
He said: The prayer of you both has indeed been accepted, therefore continue in the right way and do not follow the path of those who do not know.
আর আমি বনী ইসরাঈলকে সমুদ্র পার করিয়ে নিলাম। আর ফির‘আউন ও তার সৈন্যবাহিনী ঔদ্ধত্য প্রকাশ ও সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী হয়ে তাদের পিছু নিল। অবশেষে যখন সে ডুবে যেতে লাগল, তখন বলল, ‘আমি ঈমান এনেছি যে, সে সত্তা ছাড়া কোন নেই, যার প্রতি বনী ইসরাঈল ঈমান এনেছে। আর আমি মুসল
۞ وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قَالَ آمَنتُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
And We made the children of Israel to pass through the sea, then Firon and his hosts followed them for oppression and tyranny; until when drowning overtook him, he said: I believe that there is no god but He in Whom the children of Israel believe and I am of those who submit.
‘এখন অথচ ইতঃপূর্বে তুমি নাফরমানী করেছ, আর তুমি ছিলে ফাসাদকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত’।
آلْآنَ وَقَدْ عَصَيْتَ قَبْلُ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
What! now! and indeed you disobeyed before and you were of the mischief - makers.
‘সুতরাং আজ আমি তোমার দেহটি রক্ষা করব, যাতে তুমি তোমার পরবর্তীদের জন্য নিদর্শন হয়ে থাক। আর নিশ্চয় অনেক মানুষ আমার নিদর্শনসমূহের ব্যাপারে গাফেল’।
فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً ۚ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا لَغَافِلُونَ
But We will this day deliver you with your body that you may be a sign to those after you, and most surely the majority of the people are heedless to Our communications.
আর অবশ্যই আমি বনী ইসরাঈলকে উত্তম বাসভূমিতে আবাস দিলাম এবং তাদেরকে উত্তম রিয্ক দিলাম। অতঃপর তারা মতবিরোধ করেনি, যতক্ষণ না তাদের নিকট জ্ঞান এল। নিশ্চয় তোমার রব কিয়ামতের দিন সে বিষয়ে ফয়সালা করবেন যা নিয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করত।
وَلَقَدْ بَوَّأْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُبَوَّأَ صِدْقٍ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ فَمَا اخْتَلَفُوا حَتَّىٰ جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
And certainly We lodged the children of Israel in a goodly abode and We provided them with good things; but they did not disagree until the knowledge had come to them; surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that in which they disagreed.
সুতরাং আমি তোমার নিকট যা নাযিল করেছি, তা নিয়ে তুমি যদি সন্দেহে থাক, তাহলে যারা তোমার পূর্ব থেকেই কিতাব পাঠ করছে তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা কর। অবশ্যই তোমার নিকট তোমার রবের পক্ষ থেকে সত্য এসেছে। সুতরাং তুমি সন্দেহ পোষণকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না।
فَإِن كُنتَ فِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ فَاسْأَلِ الَّذِينَ يَقْرَءُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكَ ۚ لَقَدْ جَاءَكَ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ
But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers.
আর তুমি তাদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না, যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করেছে। তাহলে তুমি ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে।
وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers.
নিশ্চয় যাদের উপর তোমার রবের বাণী সত্য হয়েছে, তারা ঈমান আনবে না;
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِمْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has proved true will not believe,
যদিও তাদের নিকট সকল নিদর্শন এসে উপস্থিত হয়, যতক্ষণ না তারা যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করে।
وَلَوْ جَاءَتْهُمْ كُلُّ آيَةٍ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ
Though every sign should come to them, until they witness the painful chastisement.
সুতরাং কেন হল না এমন এক জনপদ, যে ঈমান এনেছে এবং তার ঈমান তার উপকারে এসেছে? তবে ইউনুসের কওম ছাড়া যখন তারা ঈমান আনল, তখন আমি তাদের থেকে দুনিয়ার জীবনের লাঞ্ছনাকর আযাব সরিয়ে দিলাম এবং আমি তাদেরকে একটি সময় পর্যন্ত ভোগ করতে দিলাম।
فَلَوْلَا كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ آمَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَا إِيمَانُهَا إِلَّا قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّا آمَنُوا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
And wherefore was there not a town which should believe so that their belief should have profited them but the people of Yunus? When they believed, We removed from them the chastisement of disgrace in this world's life and We gave them provision till a time.
আর যদি তোমার রব চাইতেন, তবে যমীনের সকলেই ঈমান আনত। তবে কি তুমি মানুষকে বাধ্য করবে, যাতে তারা হয় ?
وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ لَآمَنَ مَن فِي الْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
And if your Lord had pleased, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them; will you then force men till they become believers?
আর কারও পক্ষে সম্ভব নয় যে, আললাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া ঈমান আনবে এবং যারা বুঝে না তিনি আযাব চাপিয়ে দেবেন তাদের উপর।
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تُؤْمِنَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَيَجْعَلُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand.
বল, ‘আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনে কী আছে তা তাকিয়ে দেখ। আর নিদর্শনসমূহ ও সতর্ককারীগণ এমন কওমের কাজে আসে না, যারা ঈমান আনে না’।
قُلِ انظُرُوا مَاذَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَا تُغْنِي الْآيَاتُ وَالنُّذُرُ عَن قَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Say: Consider what is it that is in the heavens and the earth; and signs and warners do not avail a people who would not believe.
তবে কি তারা কেবল তাদের পূর্বে বিগত লোকদের অনুরূপ দিনগুলোরই অপেক্ষা করছে? বল, ‘তবে তোমরা অপেক্ষা কর, আমিও তোমাদের সাথে অপেক্ষমান’।
فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلَّا مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ قُلْ فَانتَظِرُوا إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ
What do they wait for then but the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Wait then; surely I too am with you of those who wait.
তারপর আমি নাজাত দেই আমার রাসূলদেরকে এবং তাদেরকেও যারা ঈমান এনেছে। এটা আমার দায়িত্ব যে, মুমিনদের নাজাত দেই।
ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نُنجِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Then We deliver Our apostles and those who believe - - even so (now), it is binding on Us (that) We deliver the believers.
বল, ‘হে মানুষ, তোমরা যদি আমার দীনের ব্যাপারে সন্দেহে থাক, তবে ছাড়া তোমরা যার ইবাদাত কর আমি তার ইবাদাত করি না, বরং আমি ইবাদাত করি আল্লাহর, যিনি তোমাদের মৃত্যু দেন। আর আমি আদিষ্ট হয়েছি মুমিনদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হওয়ার’।
قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّن دِينِي فَلَا أَعْبُدُ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنْ أَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Say: O people! if you are in doubt as to my religion, then (know that) I do not serve those whom you serve besides Allah but I do serve Allah, Who will cause you to die, and I am commanded that I should be of the believers.
আর (এ নির্দেশ) যে, ‘তুমি নিজেকে দীনের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত রাখ একনিষ্ঠভাবে এবং মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না’।
وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
And that you should keep your course towards the religion uprightly; and you should not be of the polytheists.
‘আর ছাড়া এমন কিছুকে ডেকো না, যা তোমার উপকার করতে পারে না এবং তোমার ক্ষতিও করতে পারে না। অতএব তুমি যদি কর, তাহলে নিশ্চয় তুমি যালিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে।
وَلَا تَدْعُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ ۖ فَإِن فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا مِّنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
And do not call besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust.
‘আর যদি তোমাকে কোন ক্ষতি পৌঁছান, তবে তিনি ছাড়া তা দূর করার কেউ নেই। আর তিনি যদি তোমার কল্যাণ চান, তবে তাঁর অনুগ্রহের কোন প্রতিরোধকারী নেই। তিনি তার বান্দাদের যাকে ইচ্ছা তাকে তা দেন। আর তিনি পরম ক্ষমাশীল, অতি দয়ালু’।
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَادَّ لِفَضْلِهِ ۚ يُصِيبُ بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
And if Allah should afflict you with harm, then there is none to remove it but He; and if He intends good to you there is none to repel His grace; He brings it to whom He pleases of His servants; and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
বল, ‘হে মানুষ’, তোমাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের নিকট সত্য এসেছে। সুতরাং যে হিদায়াত গ্রহণ করবে, সে নিজের জন্যই হিদায়াত গ্রহণ করবে। আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হবে, সে নিজের ক্ষতির জন্য পথভ্রষ্ট হবে। আর আমি তোমাদের অভিভাবক নই।
قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَكُمُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَا أَنَا عَلَيْكُم بِوَكِيلٍ
Say: O people! indeed there has come to you the truth from your Lord, therefore whoever goes aright, he goes aright only for the good of his own soul, and whoever goes astray, he goes astray only to the detriment of it, and I am not a custodian over you.
আর তোমার নিকট যে ওহী পাঠানো হচ্ছে, তুমি তার অনুসরণ কর এবং সবর কর, যতক্ষণ না ফয়সালা করেন। আর তিনিই উত্তম ফয়সালাকারী।
وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيْكَ وَاصْبِرْ حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ
And follow what is revealed to you and be patient till Allah should give judgment, and He is the best of the judges.
