বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
মানুষের উপর কি কালের এমন কোন ক্ষণ আসেনি যখন সে উল্লেখযোগ্য কিছুই ছিল না?
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
মানুষের উপর কি কালের এমন অধ্যায় অতিবাহিত হয়নি, যখন উল্লেখযোগ্য কিছুই ছিলনা সে?
Saheeh International
Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?
Yusuf Ali
Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আমি মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করেছি মিশ্র শুক্রবিন্দু থেকে, আমি তাকে পরীক্ষা করব, ফলে আমি তাকে বানিয়েছি শ্রবণ ও দৃষ্টিশক্তিসম্পন্ন।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তো মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করেছি সংমিশ্রিত নোতফা (শুক্র বিন্দু) থেকে, তাকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্যে। আর এ উদ্দেশ্যেই আমরা তাকে অধিকারী করেছি শ্রবণ শক্তি আর দৃষ্টি শক্তির (অর্থাৎ - জ্ঞান বুদ্ধি বিবেকের)।
Saheeh International
Indeed, We created man from a sperm - drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.
Yusuf Ali
Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অবশ্যই আমি তাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছি, হয় সে শোকরকারী অথবা অকৃতজ্ঞ।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তাকে জীবন যাপনের সঠিক পথ দেখিয়ে দিয়েছি। এখন সে ইচ্ছে করলে আমার কৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে চলতে পারে, কিংবা হতে পারে অকৃতজ্ঞ।
Saheeh International
Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.
Yusuf Ali
We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will).
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আমি কাফিরদের জন্য প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি শেকল, বেড়ি ও অগ্নি।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
অকৃতজ্ঞদের জন্যে আমরা তৈরি করে রেখেছি শিকল, বেড়ি, আর জ্বলন্ত আগুন।
Saheeh International
Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.
Yusuf Ali
For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় সৎকর্মশীলরা পান করবে এমন পানপাত্র থেকে যার মিশ্রণ হবে কাফূর।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সৎ - সত্যপন্থী (কৃতজ্ঞ) লোকেরা (জান্নাতে) এমন সব পান পাত্র থেকে (শরাব) পান করবে, যে পানীয় থাকবে (সুগন্ধ) কর্পুর মিশ্রিত।
Saheeh International
Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,
Yusuf Ali
As to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur, -
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
এমন এক ঝর্ণা যা থেকে আল্লাহর বান্দাগণ পান করবে, তারা এটিকে যথা ইচ্ছা প্রবাহিত করবে।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তা হবে এমন একটি ঝর্ণা, যা থেকে কেবল আল্লাহর প্রিয় দাসেরাই পান করবে। তারা যেদিকে ইচ্ছা প্রবাহিত করে নেবে এই ঝর্ণা।
Saheeh International
A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].
Yusuf Ali
A Fountain where the Devotees of Allah do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা মানত পূর্ণ করে এবং সেদিনকে ভয় করে যার অকল্যাণ হবে সুবিস্তৃত।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(আল্লাহর এই প্রিয় দাসেরা হলো সেই সব লোক) যারা তাদের মানত (আল্লাহর অনুগত হয়ে থাকার অঙ্গীকার) পূর্ণ করে এবং এমন একটি দিনের ভয়ে ভীত - কম্পিত থাকে, যে দিনটির বিপদ ছড়িয়ে পড়বে সবখানে।
Saheeh International
They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.
Yusuf Ali
They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা খাদ্যের প্রতি আসক্তি থাকা সত্ত্বেও মিসকীন, ইয়াতীম ও বন্দীকে খাদ্য দান করে।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আল্লাহর ভালোবাসা পাওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে তারা তাদের খাদ্য দান করে দেয় মিসকিন, এতিম ও বন্দিদেরকে।
Saheeh International
And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,
Yusuf Ali
And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive, -
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা বলে,‘আমরা তো আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যে তোমাদেরকে খাদ্য দান করি। আমরা তোমাদের থেকে কোন প্রতিদান চাই না এবং কোন শোকরও না।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(খাদ্য দান করার সময়) তারা বলে (কিংবা এই মনোভাব পোষণ করে যে), ‘‘আমরা তোমাদের আহার্য দান করছি শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টির জন্যে। এর বিনিময়ে আমরা তোমাদের কাছে কোনো প্রকার প্রতিদান কিংবা কৃতজ্ঞতা আশা করিনা।
Saheeh International
[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.
Yusuf Ali
(Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আমরা আমাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে এক ভয়ংকর ভীতিপ্রদ দিবসের ভয় করি।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরা তো আমাদের মালিকের পক্ষ থেকে এক দীর্ঘ ভয়ংকর দিনের আশংকায় ভীত।’’
Saheeh International
Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."
Yusuf Ali
"We only fear a Day of distressful Wrath from the side of our Lord."
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সুতরাং সেই দিবসের অকল্যাণ থেকে তাদের রক্ষা করলেন এবং তাদের প্রদান করলেন উজ্জ্বলতা ও উৎফুল্লতা।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
ফলে, তাদেরকে সেই দিনটির ক্ষতি ও অকল্যাণ থেকে রক্ষা করবেন এবং দান করবেন সৌন্দর্য - দীপ্তি (a light of beauty) আর আনন্দ প্রফুল্লতা (joy)।
Saheeh International
So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness
Yusuf Ali
But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তারা যে ধৈর্যধারণ করেছিল তার পরিণামে তিনি তাদেরকে জান্নাত ও রেশমী বস্ত্রের পুরস্কার প্রদান করবেন।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাছাড়া তাদের সবরের (আল্লাহর পথে ধৈর্য ও দৃঢ়তার সাথে চলার) বিনিময়ে তিনি তাদের প্রতিদান দেবেন জান্নাত, আর রেশমি পোশাক।
Saheeh International
And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments].
Yusuf Ali
And because they were patient and constant, He will reward them with a Garden and (garments of) silk.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তারা সেখানে সুউচ্চ আসনে হেলান দিয়ে আসীন থাকবে। তারা সেখানে না দেখবে অতিশয় গরম, আর না অত্যধিক শীত।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেখানে তারা সমাসীন হবে উঁচু উঁচু সুসজ্জিত আসনে। খরতপ্ত সূর্যতাপ কিংবা প্রচন্ড শীতে সেখানে তারা কষ্ট পাবেনা।
Saheeh International
[They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold.
Yusuf Ali
Reclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun's (excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive cold.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তাদের উপর সন্নিহিত থাকবে উদ্যানের ছায়া এবং তার ফলমূলের থোকাসমূহ তাদের সম্পূর্ণ আয়ত্তাধীন করা হবে।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের উপর বিস্তীর্ণ থাকবে জান্নাতের বৃক্ষরাজির ছায়া, আর ফলরাজি থাকবে সব সময়ই তাদের নাগালের মধ্যে।
Saheeh International
And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance.
Yusuf Ali
And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তাদের চারপাশে আবর্তিত হবে রৌপ্যপাত্র ও স্ফটিক স্বচ্ছ পানপাত্র-
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের মাঝে (খাদ্য ও পানীয়) পরিবেশন করা হবে রৌপ্য পাত্র আর স্ফটিক - স্বচ্ছ (crystal) পান পাত্রে।
Saheeh International
And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass],
Yusuf Ali
And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and goblets of crystal, -
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
রূপার ন্যায় শুভ্র স্ফটিক পাত্র; যার পরিমাপ তারা নির্ধারণ করবে।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
রজত স্বচ্ছ স্ফটিকের (crystal) পাত্রে পরিবেশনকারীরা পরিবেশন করবে পরিমাণ মতো।
Saheeh International
Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure.
Yusuf Ali
Crystal - clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes).
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সেখানে তাদেরকে পান করানো হবে পাত্রভরা আদা-মিশ্রিত সুরা,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেখানে তাদের শরাব পান করতে দেয়া হবে জানজাবিল (ginger) মিশ্রিত।
Saheeh International
And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger
Yusuf Ali
And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil, -
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সেখানকার এক ঝর্ণা যার নাম হবে সালসাবীল।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর (জানজাবিল মিশ্রিত) এই শরাব হবে মূলত জান্নাতের একটি ঝর্ণা, যার নাম হলো ‘সালসাবিল’।
Saheeh International
[From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel.
Yusuf Ali
A fountain there, called Salsabil.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তাদের চারপাশে প্রদক্ষিণ করবে চিরকিশোরেরা; তুমি তাদেরকে দেখলে বিক্ষিপ্ত মুক্তা মনে করবে।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেখানে তাদের সেবায় নিয়োজিত থাকবে এমনসব চিরবালক (boys of everlasting youth), যাদের দেখলে তোমার মনে হবে, ওরা যেনো ছড়ানো মুক্তা!
Saheeh International
There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.
Yusuf Ali
And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তুমি যখন দেখবে তুমি সেখানে দেখতে পাবে স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য ও বিরাট সাম্রাজ্য।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সেখানে গিয়ে যখন দেখবে, দেখতে পাবে নিয়ামত আর নিয়ামত (ভোগ বিলাসের সীমাহীন সামগ্রী), আর দেখতে পাবে (তোমাকে দেয়া হয়েছে) এক বিশাল সাম্রাজ্য (a great dominion)।
Saheeh International
And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion.
Yusuf Ali
And when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তাদের উপর থাকবে সবুজ ও মিহি রেশমের পোশাক এবং মোটা রেশমের পোশাক, আর তাদেরকে পরিধান করানো হবে রূপার চুড়ি এবং তাদের রব তাদেরকে পান করাবেন পবিত্র পানীয়।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তাদের পরিধানে থাকবে সবুজ রঙের সুক্ষ্ম - মিহি রেশমি পোশাক, আর সোনালি কিংখাবের বস্ত্ররাজি। তাদের অলংকৃত করা হবে রৌপ্য নির্মিত ব্রেসলেট দিয়ে আর তাদের প্রভু তাদের পান করাবেন শরাবান তহুরা (অনাবিল পানীয়)।
Saheeh International
Upon the inhabitants will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink.
Yusuf Ali
Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
(তাদেরকে বলা হবে) ‘এটিই তোমাদের পুরস্কার; আর তোমাদের প্রচেষ্টা ছিল প্রশংসাযোগ্য।’
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
(তাদের বলা হবে) এগুলো তোমাদের জন্যে পুরস্কার (reward), কারণ তোমাদের সায়ী (চেষ্টা - সাধনা) কবুল করা হয়েছে।
Saheeh International
[And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated."
Yusuf Ali
"Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised."
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় আমি তোমার প্রতি পর্যায়ক্রমে আল-কুরআন নাযিল করেছি।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরাই পর্যায়ক্রমে তোমার প্রতি এ কুরআন নাযিল করছি।
Saheeh International
Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively.
Yusuf Ali
It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতএব তোমার রবের হুকুমের জন্য ধৈর্য ধারণ কর এবং তাদের মধ্য থেকে কোন পাপিষ্ঠ বা অস্বীকারকারীর আনুগত্য করো না।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
সুতরাং ধৈর্য ও দৃঢ়তার সাথে তোমার প্রভুর নির্দেশ পালন করে যাও। আর তাদের মধ্যকার কোনো পাপিষ্ঠ কিংবা অবিশ্বাসীর আনুগত্য করোনা।
Saheeh International
So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [].
Yusuf Ali
Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় তোমার রবের নাম স্মরণ কর,
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আর তোমার প্রভুর নাম স্মরণ করো সকাল - সন্ধ্যায়।
Saheeh International
And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening
Yusuf Ali
And celebrate the name of thy Lord morning and evening,
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর রাতের একাংশে তার উদ্দেশ্যে সিজদাবনত হও এবং দীর্ঘ রাত ধরে তাঁর তাসবীহ পাঠ কর।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
রাত্রি বেলায় তাঁর প্রতি সাজদায় অবনত হও এবং রাতে দীর্ঘ সময় তসবিহ করতে থাকো তাঁর।
Saheeh International
And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night.
Yusuf Ali
And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় এরা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে ভালবাসে আর তাদের সামনে রেখে দেয় এক কঠিন দিন।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এই (অবিশ্বাসী) লোকেরা তো পছন্দ করে নিয়েছে এ পৃথিবীর জীবনকে, আর উপেক্ষা করছে পরবর্তী (পরকালের) কঠিন দিবসকে।
Saheeh International
Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day.
Yusuf Ali
As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আমিই তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তাদের গ্রন্থি শক্ত করে দিয়েছি আর আমি চাইলে তাদের স্থানে তাদের মত (মানুষ) দিয়ে পরিবর্তন করে দিতে পারি।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
আমরাই সৃষ্টি করেছি এদের, তারপর তাদের গঠন করেছি মজবুতভাবে। অতপর আমরা যখন চাইবো তাদের পরিবর্তে নিয়ে আসবো অনুরূপ কোনো জাতিকে।
Saheeh International
We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration.
Yusuf Ali
It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় এটি উপদেশ; অতএব যে চায় সে যেন তার রবের দিকে একটি পথ গ্রহণ করে।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
এটি (কুরআন) একটি উপদেশ বাণী। অতএব, যার ইচ্ছা সে তার প্রভুর (সন্তুষ্টির) পথ অবলম্বন করতে পারে।
Saheeh International
Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.
Yusuf Ali
This is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর ইচ্ছা না করলে তোমরা ইচ্ছা করবে না; নিশ্চয় মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রাজ্ঞ।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তোমাদের ইচ্ছায় কিছুই হয়না, যদি ইচ্ছা না করেন। অবশ্যি সর্বজ্ঞানী ও প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Saheeh International
And you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
Yusuf Ali
But ye will not, except as Allah wills; for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যাকে ইচ্ছা তিনি স্বীয় রহমতে প্রবেশ করাবেন এবং যালিমদের জন্য তিনি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব।
আবদুস শহীদ নাসিম
তিনি যাকে চান, নিজের অনুগ্রহের অন্তরভুক্ত করে নেন, কিন্তু যালিমদের কথা ভিন্ন। তাদের জন্যে তো তিনি তৈরি করে রেখেছেন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
Saheeh International
He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment.
Yusuf Ali
He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong - doers, - for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty.
