Saheeh International
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যারা করেছে এবং আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বারণ করেছে, তিনি তাদের আমলসমূহ ব্যর্থ করে দিয়েছেন।
Yusuf Ali
Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, - their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark).
Saheeh International
Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে, সৎকর্ম করেছে এবং মুহাম্মাদের প্রতি যা নাযিল করা হয়েছে তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে ‘আর তা তাদের রবের পক্ষ হতে (প্রেরিত) সত্য, তিনি তাদের থেকে তাদের মন্দ কাজগুলো দূর করে দেবেন এবং তিনি তাদের অবস্থা সংশোধন করে দেবেন।
Yusuf Ali
But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord, - He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.
Saheeh International
And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তা এজন্য যে, যারা করে তারা বাতিলের অনুসরণ করে, আর যারা ঈমান আনে তারা তাদের রবের প্রেরিত হকের অনুসরণ করে। এভাবেই মানুষের জন্য তাদের দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন।
Yusuf Ali
This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: Thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes.
Saheeh International
That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons.

অতএব তোমরা যখন কাফিরদের সাথে যুদ্ধে অবতীর্ণ হও, তখন তাদের ঘাড়ে আঘাত কর। পরিশেষে তোমরা যখন তাদেরকে সম্পূর্ণভাবে পর্যুদস্ত করবে তখন তাদেরকে শক্তভাবে বেঁধে নাও। তারপর হয় অনুগ্রহ না হয় মুক্তিপণ আদায়, যতক্ষণ না যুদ্ধ তার বোঝা রেখে দেয়*। এটাই বিধান। আর ই
Yusuf Ali
Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah, - He will never let their deeds be lost.
Saheeh International
So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds.

অচিরেই তিনি তাদেরকে হিদায়াত দিবেন এবং তাদের অবস্থা সংশোধন করে দিবেন।

Soon will He guide them and improve their condition,

He will guide them and amend their condition
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তিনি তাদেরকে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করাবেন, যার পরিচয় তিনি তাদেরকে দিয়েছেন।
Yusuf Ali
And admit them to the Garden which He has announced for them.
Saheeh International
And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
হে মুমিনগণ, যদি তোমরা আল্লাহকে সাহায্য কর তবে আল্লাহও তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবেন এবং তোমাদের পা সুদৃঢ় করে দেবেন।
Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা করে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে ধ্বংস এবং তিনি তাদের আমলসমূহ ব্যর্থ করে দিয়েছেন।
Yusuf Ali
But those who reject (Allah), - for them is destruction, and (Allah) will render their deeds astray (from their mark).
Saheeh International
But those who disbelieve - for them is misery, and He will waste their deeds.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তা এজন্য যে, যা নাযিল করেছেন তারা তা অপছন্দ করে। অতএব তিনি তাদের আমলসমূহ বিনষ্ট করে দিয়েছেন।
Yusuf Ali
That is because they hate the Revelation of Allah; so He has made their deeds fruitless.
Saheeh International
That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তবে কি তারা যমীনে ভ্রমণ করেনি, তারপর দেখেনি যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল তাদের পরিণাম কেমন হয়েছিল? তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছেন। আর কাফিরদের জন্য রয়েছে এর অনুরূপ পরিণাম।
Yusuf Ali
Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah.
Saheeh International
Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তা এজন্য যে, নিশ্চয় মুমিনদের অভিভাবক। আর নিশ্চয় কাফিরদের কোন অভিভাবক নেই।
Yusuf Ali
That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector.
Saheeh International
That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় যারা ঈমান এনেছে ও সৎকর্ম করেছে, তাদেরকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন। যার নিম্নদেশে নহরসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। কিন্তু যারা করে তারা ভোগ-বিলাসে মত্ত থাকে এবং তারা আহার করে যেমন চতুষ্পদ জন্তুরা আহার করে। আর জাহান্নামই তাদের বাসস্থান।
Yusuf Ali
Verily Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode.
Saheeh International
Indeed, Allah will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow, but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর তোমার জনপদ যা থেকে তারা তোমাকে বহিষ্কার করেছে তার তুলনায় শক্তিমত্তায় প্রবলতর অনেক জনপদ ছিল, আমি তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছিলাম, ফলে তাদের কোনই সাহায্যকারী ছিল না।
Yusuf Ali
And how many cities, with more power than thy city which has driven thee out, have We destroyed (for their sins)? and there was none to aid them.
Saheeh International
And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যে ব্যক্তি তার রবের পক্ষ থেকে আগত সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত সে কি তার মত, যার মন্দ আমল তার জন্য চাকচিক্যময় করে দেয়া হয়েছে এবং যারা তাদের খেয়াল খুশীর অনুসরণ করে?
Yusuf Ali
Is then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts?
Saheeh International
So is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their [own] desires?

মুত্তাকীদেরকে যে জান্নাতের ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে তার দৃষ্টান্ত হল, তাতে রয়েছে নির্মল পানির নহরসমূহ, দুধের ঝর্নাধারা, যার স্বাদ পরিবর্তিত হয়নি, পানকারীদের জন্য সুস্বাদু সুরার নহরসমূহ এবং আছে পরিশোধিত মধুর ঝর্নাধারা। তথায় তাদের জন্য থাকবে সব ধরনের ফলমূল আর তাদের

(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?
Saheeh International
Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines?

আর তাদের মধ্যে এমন কতক রয়েছে, যারা তোমার প্রতি মনোযোগ দিয়ে শুনে। অবশেষে যখন তারা তোমার কাছ থেকে বের হয়ে যায় তখন তারা যাদের জ্ঞান দান করা হয়েছে তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলে, ‘এই মাত্র সে কী বলল?’ এরাই তারা, যাদের অন্তরসমূহে মোহর মেরে দিয়েছেন এবং তারা নিজদের
Yusuf Ali
And among them are men who listen to thee, but in the end, when they go out from thee, they say to those who have received Knowledge, "What is it he said just then?" Such are men whose hearts Allah has sealed, and who follow their own lusts.
Saheeh International
And among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা হিদায়াতপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে তাদের হিদায়াত প্রাপ্তি আরো বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং তাদেরকে তাদের তাকওয়া প্রদান করেন।
Yusuf Ali
But to those who receive Guidance, He increases the (light of) Guidance, and bestows on them their Piety and Restraint (from evil).
Saheeh International
And those who are guided - He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
সুতরাং তারা কি কেবল এই অপেক্ষা করছে যে, কিয়ামত তাদের উপর আকস্মিকভাবে এসে পড়ুক? অথচ কিয়ামতের আলামতসমূহ তো এসেই পড়েছে। সুতরাং কিয়ামত এসে পড়লে তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে কেমন করে?
Yusuf Ali
Do they then only wait for the Hour, - that it should come on them of a sudden? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition?
Saheeh International
Then do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then what good to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতএব জেনে রাখ, নিঃসন্দেহে ছাড়া কোন (সত্য) নেই। তুমি ক্ষমা চাও তোমার ও নারী-পুরুষদের ত্রুটি-বিচ্যুতির জন্য। তোমাদের গতিবিধি এবং নিবাস সম্পর্কে অবগত রয়েছেন।
Yusuf Ali
Know, therefore, that there is no god but Allah, and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and for the men and women who believe: for Allah knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes.
Saheeh International
So know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allah knows of your movement and your resting place.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে তারা বলে, ‘কেন একটি সূরা নাযিল করা হয়নি?’ অতঃপর যখন দ্ব্যর্থহীন কোন সুস্পষ্ট সূরা নাযিল করা হয় এবং তাতে যুদ্ধের উল্লেখ থাকে, তখন তুমি দেখবে যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি রয়েছে তারা তোমার দিকে মৃত্যুভয়ে মূর্ছিত ব্যক্তির দৃষ্টিতে তাকাচ্ছে। সুতরাং ধ
Yusuf Ali
Those who believe say, "Why is not a sura sent down (for us)?" But when a sura of basic or categorical meaning is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein, thou wilt see those in whose hearts is a disease looking at thee with a look of one in swoon at the approach of death. But more fitting for them -
Saheeh International
Those who believe say, "Why has a surah not been sent down? But when a precise surah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, you see those in whose hearts is hypocrisy looking at you with a look of one overcome by death. And more appropriate for them [would have been]
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আনুগত্য ও ন্যায়সঙ্গত কথা (তাদের জন্য) উত্তম। অতঃপর যখন সিদ্ধান্ত চূড়ান্ত হয়, তখন যদি তারা আল্লাহর সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা সত্যে পরিণত করত, তবে তা তাদের জন্য কল্যাণকর হত।
Yusuf Ali
Were it to obey and say what is just, and when a matter is resolved on, it were best for them if they were true to Allah.
Saheeh International
Obedience and good words. And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তবে কি তোমরা প্রত্যাশা করছ যে, যদি তোমরা শাসন কর্তৃত্ব পাও, তবে তোমরা যমীনে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করবে এবং তোমাদের আত্মীয়তার বন্ধন ছিন্ন করবে?
Yusuf Ali
Then, is it to be expected of you, if ye were put in authority, that ye will do mischief in the land, and break your ties of kith and kin?
Saheeh International
So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
এরাই যাদেরকে লানত করেছেন, ফলে তাদেরকে বধির ও তাদের দৃষ্টিসমূহকে অন্ধ করে দিয়েছেন।
Yusuf Ali
Such are the men whom Allah has cursed for He has made them deaf and blinded their sight.
Saheeh International
Those [who do so] are the ones that Allah has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তবে কি তারা কুরআন নিয়ে গভীর চিন্তা- ভাবনা করে না? নাকি তাদের অন্তরসমূহে তালা রয়েছে?
Yusuf Ali
Do they not then earnestly seek to understand the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up by them?
Saheeh International
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় যারা হিদায়াতের পথ সুস্পষ্ট হওয়ার পর তাদের পৃষ্টপ্রদর্শনপূর্বক মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, শয়তান তাদের কাজকে চমৎকৃত করে দেখায় এবং তাদেরকে মিথ্যা আশা দিয়ে থাকে।
Yusuf Ali
Those who turn back as apostates after Guidance was clearly shown to them, - the Evil One has instigated them and busied them up with false hopes.
Saheeh International
Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
এটি এ জন্য যে, যা নাযিল করেছেন তা যারা অপছন্দ করে। তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে, তারা বলে, ‘অচিরেই আমরা কতিপয় বিষয়ে তোমাদের আনুগত্য করব’। তাদের গোপনীয়তা সম্পর্কে অবহিত রয়েছেন।
Yusuf Ali
This, because they said to those who hate what Allah has revealed, "We will obey you in part of (this) matter"; but Allah knows their (inner) secrets.
Saheeh International
That is because they said to those who disliked what Allah sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allah knows what they conceal.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতঃপর তাদের অবস্থা কেমন হবে, যখন ফেরেশতারা তাদের মুখমন্ডল ও পৃষ্ঠদেশসমূহে আঘাত করতে করতে তাদের জীবনাবসান ঘটাবে?

But how (will it be) when the angels take their souls at death, and smite their faces and their backs?
Saheeh International
Then how [will it be] when the angels take them in death, striking their faces and their backs?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
এটি এ জন্য যে, তারা এমন সব বিষয়ের অনুসরণ করেছে যা আল্লাহকে ক্রোধান্বিত করেছে এবং তারা তাঁর সন্তোষকে অপছন্দ করেছে। ফলে তাদের কর্মসমূহ নিষ্ফল করে দিয়েছেন।
Yusuf Ali
This because they followed that which called forth the Wrath of Allah, and they hated Allah's good pleasure; so He made their deeds of no effect.
Saheeh International
That is because they followed what angered Allah and disliked [what earns] His pleasure, so He rendered worthless their deeds.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নাকি যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি রয়েছে তারা ধারণা করেছে যে, তাদের গোপন বিদ্বেষভাব প্রকাশ করে দিবেন না?
Yusuf Ali
Or do those in whose hearts is a disease, think that Allah will not bring to light all their rancour?
Saheeh International
Or do those in whose hearts is disease think that Allah would never expose their [feelings of] hatred?
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর যদি আমি চাইতাম তবে আমি তোমাকে এদের দেখিয়ে দিতে পারতাম। ফলে লক্ষণ দেখেই তুমি তাদের চিনতে পারতে। তবে তুমি অবশ্যই কথার ভঙ্গিতে তাদের চিনতে পারবে। তোমাদের আমলসমূহ জানেন।
Yusuf Ali
Had We so wiled, We could have shown them up to thee, and thou shouldst have known them by their marks: but surely thou wilt know them by the tone of their speech! And Allah knows all that ye do.
Saheeh International
And if We willed, We could show them to you, and you would know them by their mark; but you will surely know them by the tone of [their] speech. And Allah knows your deeds.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
আর আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করব যতক্ষণ না আমি প্রকাশ করে দেই তোমাদের মধ্যে কারা জিহাদকারী ও ধৈর্যশীল এবং আমি তোমাদের কথা- কাজ পরীক্ষা করে নেব।
Yusuf Ali
And We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle).
Saheeh International
And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয় যারা করেছে, আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দিয়েছে এবং তাদের নিকট হিদায়াতের পথ সুস্পষ্ট হওয়ার পরও রাসূলের বিরোধিতা করেছে, তারা আল্লাহর কোনই ক্ষতি সাধন করতে পারবে না। আর শীঘ্রই তিনি তাদের আমলসমূহ নিষ্ফল করে দেবেন।
Yusuf Ali
Those who reject Allah, hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and resist the Messenger, after Guidance has been clearly shown to them, will not injure Allah in the least, but He will make their deeds of no effect.
Saheeh International
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহর আনুগত্য কর এবং রাসূলের আনুগত্য কর। আর তোমরা তোমাদের আমলসমূহ বিনষ্ট করো না।
Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger, and make not vain your deeds!
Saheeh International
O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
নিশ্চয়ই যারা করেছে এবং আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দিয়েছে। তারপর অবস্থায়ই মারা গেছে, কখনই তাদের ক্ষমা করবেন না।
Yusuf Ali
Those who reject Allah, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, then die rejecting Allah, - Allah will not forgive them.
Saheeh International
Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
অতএব তোমরা হীনবল হয়ো না ও সন্ধির আহবান জানিও না এবং তোমরাই প্রবল। আর তোমাদের সাথেই রয়েছেন এবং কখনই তিনি তোমাদের কর্মফল হ্রাস করবেন না।
Yusuf Ali
Be not weary and faint - hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds.
Saheeh International
So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
দুনিয়ার জীবন তো কেবল খেল-তামাশা ও অর্থহীন কথাবার্তা। আর যদি তোমরা ঈমান আন এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন কর, তবে তিনি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের প্রতিদান দিবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের কাছে ধন-সম্পদ চাইবেন না।
Yusuf Ali
The life of this world is but play and amusement: and if ye believe and guard against Evil, He will grant you your recompense, and will not ask you (to give up) your possessions.
Saheeh International
[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
যদি তিনি তোমাদের নিকট তা চান, অতঃপর তিনি তোমাদের ওপর প্রবল চাপ দেন, তাহলে তো তোমরা কার্পণ্য করবে। আর তিনি তোমাদের গোপন বিদ্বেষসমূহ বের করে দেবেন।
Yusuf Ali
If He were to ask you for all of them, and press you, ye would covetously withhold, and He would bring out all your ill - feeling.
Saheeh International
If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness.
বয়ান ফাউন্ডেশন
তোমরাই তো তারা, তোমাদের আহবান করা হচ্ছে যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করবে। অথচ তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কার্পণ্য করছে। তবে যে কার্পণ্য করছে সে তো নিজের প্রতিই কার্পণ্য করছে। আর অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্রস্ত। যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের ছাড়া অন
Yusuf Ali
Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah: But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!
Saheeh International
Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.
